Back Story: Divine lived during the middle ages in the "Sol Dimension". As a child, she traveled a lot as her mother was a fortune teller and in certain places fortune telling was considered bad as it was against a good amount of the populations religion. Her father however stayed in one place and was a black smith so Divine never really knew her father though she did visit him when she and her mother were in town. Because her mother was a fortuneteller, she herself learned how to "predict" the future as well. Though, her predictions were never as correct as her mothers (who could actually see the future though she couldn't consciously choose to do so), she enjoyed it and soon became her mother's assistant when she was a teen.

Divine kept practicing but still her predictions were never right and she became frustrated. Her mother tried to help but it didn't work and she threw a fit, then left her mother. She traveled around on her own looking for work as she needed to support herself now. She found some random jobs but they were basically one timers. After some time, she decided to go back to her mother and back to fortunetelling as she couldn't support herself with the wide ranging payments of the jobs she had to do. Since her mother was a traveling fortuneteller, she never found her mother but still wanted to fortune tell to make money so she made her own makeshift fortunetelling business. She didn't make much business as all her predictions basically failed.

One day while walking though, she heard a group of travelers talking about treasure. They talked about the Sol Emeralds and the Jeweled Scepter, which caught her attention but one treasure in particular really caught her attention. Those were the Celestial Gems. The Celestial Gems gave the user the ability to see the past and future at will as well as transfer that power to another. Divine knew that she had to get them so she tried to get as much info as possible about them. When she had enough, she set forth to look for them. After a year of gathering them, she finally decided to use them as the legend said you needed all seven to gain their power.

Divine did the ritual to do so and the emeralds did give her the power but something went wrong. The emeralds glew green and shot a beam at Divine which sucked her into the emeralds. After that, they were spread across the world again. Inside the emeralds Divine realized she got the ability she wanted but it basically was no use to her since she was not in the outside world and she had limited control over them. She spent hundreds of years inside the emeralds and improved her use over her new abilities as she did have a vision she would get out one day.

Back Story: Over fifty years ago, the Ultimate Life Form was created by the Genius Scientist, Dr. Gerald Robotnik and the Black Arms leader, Black Doom. The being was named Shadow and he was created to help people (like Maria) with the terminal disease called N.I.D.S (Neuro Immunodeficiency Syndrome) as well as other terminal diseases to not die by gaining similar immortality to Shadow. Shadow, Maria, Gerald Robotnik, and the rest aboard the ark lived on the ark fairly peacefully until on day GUN thought of Shadow as a threat as he was not only immortal but very powerful. They reacted quickly and sent troops up into space to shut down the ark as well as many other projects made on it. The GUN soldiers arrived without warning and started the raid. An alarm was set off and Shadow quickly got Maria and several others who couldn't fight to a safe room, then went to fight GUN soldiers. Shadow was fairly cornered until he took a look at his rings and took them off, giving him a boost of power. Fortunately it was enough to beat most of the GUN soldiers. The rest were defeated by those on the ark who could defend themselves, as well as other creations made on the ark. All is saved? Nope. I don't think so. When reports said that Shadow did most of the damage, this really worried GUN and they are now even more eager to get rid of Shadow. Will the passengers aboard the ark be prepared for another attack? Will they get help from the Black Arms? Will they sacrifice Shadow for their own sake? Will they try to reason with GUN? Is there a much bigger problem, GUN and the rest of the world should be worrying about? Only you will know.



This is basically a "What If" Sonic RP. As in What if Shadow wasn't encapsulated, and everyone on the ark didn't die from the GUN raid.

Rules:

1. Follow the Gaia TOS. When you signed up for Gaia you agreed to follow these so FOLLOW THEM!

2. R-E-S-P-E-C-T find out what it means to me! Respect is really important! Please respect the other roleplayers. If they make a mistake, politely correct them. Don't call them retarded or anything degrading otherwise you will be blacklisted and kicked out of the RP.

3. Patience is a Virtue. We all have lives and other stuff to attend to. So please. Don't complain when someone's not posting quickly. If it's been about 30 minutes and they still haven't posted and they're on. You may politely send a PM to them to let them know you posted and are waiting. Same thing for other waiting situations, like if they've been on but haven't posted in three days, PM them. If they don't respond when you know they've been on, you may work your way around the person. Also, if there is some fairly fast paced RPing going on, and there are three+ people involved, please try to let all three post. Example: If three characters are investigating something. It wouldn't be right for two people to post ten posts each while the other person only gets to post once. Of course some people don't know what to say, so at least ask before posting. 3nodding

4. As for literacy, I would like AT LEAST three sentences. Please, no one liners. That's the source of all writers blocks. It's really hard to respond to one line and we really don't want to block to go around like a disease. Also I would really prefer nothing over three paragraph as it would be tedious to read if it went over. Yes, we're trying to make a story but we don't want to make it a chore. No using ** for actions. Describe everything in third Person. Use proper grammar and spelling. Please put a ninja in your profile.

5. When joining, especially if over ten pages have passed, please browse the posts. I really hate it when someone joins, then looks at the posts and realizes that most of the Rpers are literate or illiterate. Then either instantly quit and tell me about it or never post.

6. Romance and Action are allowed, and highly encouraged. But please, keep it PG-13 and lower. Gaia is a PG-13 site so unless we want this thread to be deleted, keep all action and Romance PG-13 and below. Cursing is okay to but please don't go overboard.

7. No God modding, power playing, auto hitting or auto dodging. Basically your character can't be all powerful and land every hit as well as dodge every bullet. You can tell if you are doing any of these things if whenever you do anything you control the other person's character. Ex. Sonic jumped up and kicked Shade to the ground where her helmet fell off. You can however, foreshadow your actions. Ex. Sonic jumped up and launched a spin dash at Blaze. If it hit, right after he would unroll, turn around and launch a series of kicks at Blaze. Then whoever is controlling the other can decide what hits and what doesn't.

8. Use (()), [], OOC: for Out of character Chat in the main thread. If possible, PLEASE keep all OOC in the OOC Thread.

9. Please let me know if you wanna quit or can't be on. Don't worry I won't think little of you if you do. ^^

10. Please use different colors, if you are controlling different characters. It helps ALOT. Also please Do NOT use bright colors like Yellow and Cyan. It will blind us ALL O.o Title your PM ______________

11. Posting Styles are A-Okay! But please don't have a bunch of huge Pictures, espceially if you post fairly small posts. Also try your best to avoid quoting others. If there has been 5+ Pages then quoting is okay to help the other out.

12. You may play as many characters as you want, just as long you are able to keep up with all of them.

13. I would really like this RP to last AND End. So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't join unless you're planning on staying for a while.
