The air started at the pit of her body. For some reason, her pit was much deeper than she remembered. Nonetheless, it started to creep up her body and fill her torso. Her torso was also different than she remembered- it was much larger. The air filled her lungs and suddenly leaped out of her body. With that, the female, former cat woke up and blinked. Her given name was Krippy, and right now she was laying on a cold surface. She wasn't sure why she was so cold, or why she felt so...huge. Curious, Krippy curled her back and tried to look at her paws. Imagine the former cat's surprise when not only did she have hands but she also had no fur.
"A-a-ah..." Krippy managed to push out of her throat. She quickly put her hands to her throat in surprise. That certainly was not the usual meow. In fact, that was not even the usual neck! It was...fur-less and kind of appalling. Noticing she was alone and that the shiny thing that occasionally had another cat that looked like her in it was hanging close by, Krippy slipped off the metal table and attempted to look into it. Unfortunately, Krippy wasn't used to her new legs and couldn't walk instantly. She slipped around for a while before managing to balance herself on two legs. Krippy leaned on the tables and, when she couldn't do that, she leaned on some closets to get over to it. What she saw amazed her.
"M-m-me?" Krippy got out. The person reached out to her like she reached out to the person. They touched hands for a minute, before identically touching their faces. Her head fur was long and two different colors. Her eyes were a similar color to her old eyes, and her skin was not gray. It was a...white-ish. What exactly had happened to her and that person?! Her stomach growled. Well...at least one thing was the same.
"Hungry." Krippy murmured, as she usually did with her owner. It only took one word, usually, to get what she wanted. When no one came in and gave her food, Krippy frowned and managed to take shaky steps over to the the door.
"Hungry!" Krippy said louder. Nobody came. Frowning, she figured that she had to be a good ca- actually, she couldn't be a good cat if she wasn't really a cat could she? Frowning, she figured she had to be a good two-leg to get food. Desperate for food, Krippy staggered over to the table and curled herself up. Maybe if they didn't bring her food, her owner would! Krippy managed to purr a little at the thought of her owner. He always gave her food when she wanted it. Krippy rested her head on her hands and then looked at her claws. They didn't look exactly like they used to, but they were sharp still! Happy another thing had stayed the same, Krippy purred with contentment and then closed her eyes. Maybe she would take a nap and wait for her owner....
