fillerfillerfillerfillerfillerDetermined -- That is what his friends would call it in the spirit of optimism. Jace was relentlessly stuborn when he put his mind to something. This could go from something very simple like learning something, to a terrible battle. Only his father and prince Logan were people capable of changing Jace's mind and that was only because he trusted both of them without question. So far he's mostly benefitted from this attitude as it led to him becomming an excellent swordsman along with learning how to soulbind armor. Still he's aware that this attitude will likely lead to his death one day but he didn't mind that so much, there were worse reasons to die in the end.

fillerfillerfillerfillerfillerLoyal -- While Jace is a charming and kind young man he isn't someone who trusts others easily, people have to work hard to earn his trust. Once they get it however it's unyielding. The world could arrange themselves against the friend in question and he would still stand by his friend without hesitation. Still this doesn't mean he won't comment on their actions and decisions with strong language.

fillerfillerfillerfillerfillerObservant -- Being someone who prefers to stay in the sidelines till he's needed he spends a lot of time just observing things as they unfold. Over time this manifested in the ability to take in a lot of information in a short time span along with anticipating enemy moves in combat.

Jace was born into high nobility. The Vakarian clan was known for two things : Their warriors and the ability to bind armor and weapons to their soul. His father had been the leader of the family and was the king's personal guard which meant that a lot was expected of poor Jace. The king in his wisdom decided that the tradition should continue and as a result it was known that Jace was going to be the prince's personal guard but he hadn't known that back then.

When Jace turned ten he met the Prince for the first time and the two of them became fast friends, getting into trouble the very day they met though he actually forgot what they did that got them into that trouble. He'd ask Logan but it was possible that he'd turn it into some over the top story because he couldn't remember it either.

As he grew up he learned how to use most weapons from his father. Day after day he was trained mercilessly by either him or one of his uncles. While he was young they still went hard on him for a very simple reason. If he became good enough that few opponents could hurt him he wouldn't be used to pain anymore and the slightest injury could result in a swift defeat, back then he hadn't understood these words but later he learned the value of them.

Following the death of The queen the country changed and he heard from Logan that his father had started to hate the dragons, blaming them, all of them for her death. Understanding that things were starting to escalate he realised that it was time for him to step up and become the guard that Logan would need before long. Being young he only had a single set of armor at his disposal and so he quickly started to work on a second, a lighter one when mobility was needed over raw power, it was close to finished but not quite yet.

To be honest he didn't really care about the dragons that much, they were simply above his comprehension. The only reason he eventually set out with Logan to try and save them was because his friend had called upon him to do so and he didn't want to leave him for something so important. Besides... there was glory to be had.

╷Magic & Techniques╷: Fire

Fire Punch : Kai ignites his elbow for a hard hitting punch. He can also coat his fist in fire for additional damage. This is rarely used as he prefers to fight with his sword rather then his hands.

Fire Slash : Kai runs fire down his blade. The fire will continue even if the strike is blocked distracting and burning opponents in the process. The more determined he is in the battle the more powerful and hotter this fire will be.

Fire breath : Kai takes a deep breath of air and warms it in his lungs to spit out a cone of hot flame. The longer he takes to prepare the hotter and more powerful the fire is. A brief preparation is only going to distract while a lengthy one will cause severe damage to anyone caught in it.

Fire Ball : Your typical runn of the mill fireball. These are fairly fast but provide more concussive force then fire damage. He'll use these to create openings for more powerful attacks with either his fire or his blade.

Fire Bomb : It looks like a normal fire ball but this orb of fire will never actually connect with enemies. Instead it's supposed to explode right before them, washing flames over them in a wide area.

Fire Barrage Fires a barrage of fire balls and fire bombs at his target. Only beings of fire can walk out of an attack like this unsaved though it's possible to shield yourself from most of the damage.

Incinerator : Continious stream of fire that he fires out from both hands. Takes a lot of energy to keep it up. Useful for forcing an enemy on the defensive

Hell Raiser : injects the ground with his fire magic, transforming the nearby area into a hellish landscape of fire and molten rock. Works as area denial, provides him with food and disrupts combatants in the affected area.

Molten bullets : After eating molten ground or lava he can spit out pieces of fiery rock at high speeds and rate of fire. 'ammo' type is variable between explosive and piercing. This attack is not usable in god force because of the face plate.

Fire God's Word : A powerful blast of fire from the mouth. Depending on what word used the effects are different

_____ Gau'Ju : A small compact beam used for penetrating defenses, there is no charge time required for this attack and takes little of Kai's considerable energy reserve.

_____ Gau'Gurah : A wide beam meant to hit an area. There is a lot more power behind this attack then Gau'Ju and it will take a toll on Kai's reserves. Depending on his anger this attack can burn high enough to melt steel.

Purgatory : A series of flame pillars form from the ground. This can be used to keep someone pinned or to control an area. The more energy put into it the bigger and hotter they are.

Fire propulsion : Kai expels fire from his body up to a point where he can use the resulting force to move his body. Normal usage doesn't cause trouble and it grants him immense mobility but at the same time constant use will wear on his body in battle though training prevents this from setting in early.

Plasma

Still learning about it and worries about using it because it's possible to ignite the air itself if he goes to far.

Plasma burst : projects a wave of plasma from his body towards the surrounding area. Medium damage but disrupts enemies and can set things on fire due to extreme heat.

Plasma shield : Projects a bubble of plasma that protects by burning at extreme heat. He has to be at the center of it when he casts it and depending on how big it is, it takes more energy, it's power is consistent.

God force : Kai takes on the form of the Fire Godess' knight, the knight of passion. His fire changes from black to gold and is under Kai's complete control, it can't even hurt his allies, it merely feels warm to them, the feeling of his passion to defend them. The armor itself is created from fire given form and can be restored quickly after being damaged, almost like it's being healed. All fire nearby is under his absolute control as this form changes him into the avatar of flame. All of his fire attacks are also considerably stronger and his body becomes supercharged.

Final Sermon : Massive blast of concentrated fire fueled by both his rage and his god force. Consists of Inferno beams from both hands and Fire God's word. The inferno beams serve to penetrate whatever defenses were created with Fire God's word serving as the actual strike that does damage. In terms of blocking spells these two count as separate entities.

Wings of Fire : The fire flowing from his back makes flight for Kai more natural but he can still use propulsion for speed. These wings are basically tendrils of fire close together and can be used to shield allies. These tendrils can be used to grab at people or objects. To enemies they burn like a sun, to allies they are merely warm. These tendrils are hard to cut through and will regrow when damaged.

Empathy This form is the representation of Kai's desire to protect his friends. As he spreads his wings his allies will feel this desire. When Kai experiences strong memories during his god force they will experience these through his eyes.

Solarion : The spear of light held by the Goddess of Fire herself. When Kai spends enough energy he can call upon this holy weapon to strike down his foes. Solarian is known for it's capacities to reduce fortresses to dust in a single blow. Truly a weapon worthy of a god. When Kai wields this spear he's granted the goddess' knowledge and experience in using this weapon.

Swordsmanship : He'd learned the basics of swordsmanship from Amber when he was still a member of Blue Pegasus. During his exile however he met the spirit of an ancient swordsman that had headed his call and need for power. After defeating the spirit it transferred all it's swordsman skills onto Kai. It gave him the knowledge how to preform the techniques from Hiten Mitsurugi but part of his training was spent getting the muscle memory needed to preform the complicated strikes.

____Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū ( Flying Heaven Govern Sword-Style) is an ancient kenjutsu style used to defeat numerous foes single-handedly. Practitioners of this style use a combination of near-superhuman speed and agility (known as Shinsoku, or godspeed), battōjutsu and an acquired, observation-based pseudo-clairvoyance in order to avoid the attacks of their opponents by the least possible margin and with the least possible effort in order to place themselves in the perfect position to strike in the very instant the opponent's strike misses and stresses two-step attacks in order to ensure that any and all who oppose it are thoroughly slain.

____Battōjutsu is a field of kenjutsu which deals specifically with the rapid drawing and sheathing of a sword. In most cases, a katana being drawn from its sheath moves with a much greater speed and force than when it is being wielded normally. Additionally, greater drawing speed gives a swordsman more of an advantage in combat than an opponent whose speed is inferior. This is due in part to the fact that a katana's sharp blade curves upward against the inside of the sheath, allowing the swordsman to use more strength in drawing it with having to worry about applying extra control to his movements - the sword's path is guided by the sheath while the blade meets no resistance, moving two to three times faster than normal.

____Ryūtsuisen (Dragon Hammer Flash) : From a position higher than Kai's opponent. The attack begins with Kai launching himself into the air and then combining momentum and fire propulsion he charges downwards with a a two-handed sword swing that brings the blade down on the opponent's head or shoulder.

________Ryūtsuisen ● Zan (Dragon Hammer Flash: Disaster) : Beginning in the same way as Ryūtsuisen, Kai positions the sword as to initiate a downward stab to the head instead of a downward swing.

____Ryūkansen ( Dragon Coiling Flash) : Most often used as a counterattack against a thrust or charge, Kai sidesteps a forward-moving opponent and moves past them. In doing so, Kai spins in a full circle, adding momentum and centrifugal force to the strength of the sword swing, which is then aimed at either the opponent's back or the back of the neck.

________Ryūkansen ● Tsumuji (Dragon Coiling Flash: Whirl) : One of the variations of Ryūkansen, Ryūkansen Tsumuji is a direct attack rather than a counter, and involves a more forward direction of spinning, such as in a drilling motion like a torpedo. This attack not only slices at the opponent but sends waves of fire out towards him/her.

________Ryūkansen ● Kogarashi (Dragon Coiling Flash: Wintry Wind) : An alternate version of the normal Ryūkansen. Involves a simple backhanded slash from a single turn to blast the foe away; unlike the original version it is not a full circling spin, and is meant to be a quick and possibly situational strike.

________Ryūkansen ● Arashi (Dragon Coiling Flash: Storm) : A variation of the normal Ryūkansen, this technique places Kai is in a full rolling somersault slash while attacking.

____ Ryūshōsen (Dragon Flight Flash) :The opposite of Ryūtsuisen, Ryūshōsen is a rising attack meant to strike the jaw from below. For additional power, Kai uses his free arm to apply force to the back of the blade and utilizes a powerful upward jump during the attack.

____Ryūtsuishōsen (Dragon Hammer-Flight Flash): A combination of Ryūtsuisen and Ryūshōsen, Ryūtsuishōsen begins with the powerful jump and supported upswing of Ryūshōsen, giving the leap enough power to pass Kai's opponent in mid-air, and on the returning drop, Ryūtsuisen is performed.

____Ryūsōsen (Dragon Nest Flash) : A massive flurry of strikes delivered to the opponent. The sheer speed of the slashes makes this technique difficult to counter. There is an alternate version called
________Ryūsōsen ● Garami (Dragon Nest Flash: Gnawing) , which targets the foe's head.

____Doryūsen (Earth Dragon Flash) : A ranged attack, Doryūsen strikes an opponent outside of the user's range by striking the ground and sending earthen debris at said opponent with knockout force.

____Kuzuryūsen (Nine-Headed Dragon Flash) : A dashing attack that uses Shinsoku (godspeed) to simultaneously strike all nine vital spots on the foe's body(head, shoulders, arms, legs and chest) Because of the sheer speed behind it it's impossible to see the blade with the naked eye. The only way to defend against it is to defend a specific part of the body, be faster then the one using the attack or block the first blow.This is the ultimate attack of the Hiten Mitsurugi without using Battōjutsu and is taught as a prerequisite for the succession technique.


Battōjutsu techniques : Involving drawing of the sword from the scabbard.

____Sōryūsen (Twin Dragon Flash) Seemingly a simple Battōjutsu strike, Sōryūsen is the first of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū's two-step Battōjutsu moves. After the first strike with the quickened sword, Kai wields the empty sheath along the same path as a blunt weapon. After the sword strike lands, the sheath strike delivers a pulverizing blow capable of crushing bone and shattering wood, but if the sword strike misses, the sheath strike acts as powerful insurance, preventing an opponent's attack and delivering a crushing blow when it's least expected.

________Sōryūsen ● Ikazuchi (Twin Dragon Flash: Thunder) An alternate form of Sōryūsen wherein the sword is wielded while still inside the sheath. The first strike is made with the sheathed sword and, once it makes contact, the sword is drawn using Battōjutsu for a second strike. While the original Sōryūsen is designed to make two strikes, Sōryūsen Ikazuchi appears designed with the assumption that the first strike will be blocked.

____Hiryūsen (Flying Dragon Flash) After assuming a Battōjutsu stance, one rotates one's body rapidly and then stops, aiming the sheath at one's target. The force shoots the sword's grip out of the sheath like an arrow, allowing one to strike a target outside of one's zone. As a Battōjutsu move, it can be assumed that the sheath can then be used as a melee weapon in a second strike. It can be assumed that proper control for this technique is required, for applying too much may make the sword fly out of its sheath too far should it miss.

____Ryūmeisen (Dragon Howl ash) : An unusual technique in which one uses the godspeed of Battōjutsu to sheathe the sword rather than to draw it in a practice known as Shinsoku Nōtōjutsu. The speed and force creates a miniature sonic boom that can be used to temporarily stun opponents with particularly sensitive or acute hearing by affecting their auditory nerves.

Shinsoku (godspeed) : Kai's movement in battle is extremely fast as he uses a combination of fire propulsion and powerful legwork to move around the battlefield. At top speed it's faster then he can think and instead starts to rely on his instincts and reflexes

Stamina : A veteran warrior, the man's been through hell and back before deciding he enjoyed it so he repeated it. He's been known to keep going when most were worn out though this is partly his stubornness and anger issues.

Hand to hand : Long training in Ju-jitsu allows him to combine his magical attacks with these martial art moves to immobilize enemies. His specialty in this is jointlocks on the elbows and wrists.



╷Biography╷: Kai wasn't born into nobility or anything, heck he doesn't even know who his parents. Yes, he's an orphan and regulairly gets s**t for it from other more 'sophisticated' mages. Despite that is however he was still a cheerful and well mannered kid in the orpanage. There wasn't a single other thing about him that was remarkable aside from the fact that he there was a promise of magical power in him, one that never really manifested properly in him.

All of that changed when during a trip with the orphanage the town they were visiting was attacked by a dark guild. For reasons he never really fathomed they killed everyone that they came across with Kai being the only survivor and only because one of the supervisors had sacrificed herself for him. His biggest shame was that he never really liked the woman that had killed herself so in repentance and respect he took her last name, Macross as his own.

He spent the next few days wandering aimlessly across the lands thinking that he was going to die before the god of fire appeared before him on the night that he would have died. The god had taken pity with him and decided to step in to show this weak and useless kid the meaning of true power. Over the next few months he was taught everything about fire, it's nature, it's strengths, it's weaknesses and how to harness it's powers on a level that few would be able to even dream of.

For a young boy to have undergone all of this has left him with something of a damaged personality, the kind and sweet kid on one side and the raging inferno of power on the other. Following his training he was sent out into the world to do as he saw fit, eventually comming across a young member of Blue Pegasus that bullied him for his ragged outfit. In a sudden fit of rage he pounded the young kid into the ground before being pulled off by the guild leader, he'd been impressed by the kid's spirit and power so he took him in as a member and the guild itself adopted him as a son.

He'd been no more then eight years old when he was taken in and now that he had a home he was quickly educated to become a more civilised person. He was taught principles like integrity, honor and courage to better serve in the ranks of Blue Pegasus. Under their guidance he became a strong mage that quickly earned a reputation amongst the other guilds for his skill and sadly also for his issues regarding his temper. Following the death of the Guild's ace in battle it was Kai who took up the mantle and became the youngest Ace the guild ever had at the age of fourteen.

However at the age of Twenty-one there had been an incident. He was sparring with the old guild master and as the fight intensified he lost control of his temper. In the resulting inferno the guild hall was almost entirely burned though thankfully no one had gotten hurt thanks to the leader's quick reactions to Kai's change. Still he knew that he was a danger to his friends and loved ones so that night with nothing but his sword and the clothes on his body.

He stayed in exile for six years, trying to repent for what he had done to his comrades. During his travels he fought dark guilds and helped out other guilds, either by sharing stories or aiding them in hard missions which allowed him to befriend most of the powerful mages currently in existance. He actually liked this since in the end no one was depending on him yet loneliness still tugged at his heart, he was missing his old comrades over the years.

Eventually the day came when he heard news of Blue Pegasus' guild leader passing away and that he'd been called for to step forward so he could take up the mantle. The old man had nominated him to be his sucessor despite everything, he'd always believed in him and Kai couldn't bear to dissapoint in his old mentor's last wish.



╷Personality╷: Kai is generally a relaxed person that tries to avoid frustrations in life. Unfortunately for him however he has anger issues and is quick to be annoyed with things though his guild mates need to do quite a bit more before they can piss him off. Hurting or insulting a guild member as an outsider before his eyes is pretty much a guaranteed way to make him spite fire instantly and his guild members have had to hold him back multiple times.

Despite his anger he's actually a kind and caring person to those close to him. He would put himself on the line to defend what he believes and cares about. Depending on his mood when he meets someone he'll either have a hard time befriending them or form quick bonds with them.

Some people think that his a two moods are the result of having a split personality though no one's actually tried to asking him about this. His anger is a direct result of the powers granted to him by the flame god as it feeds off his rage, as a result he's always angry when fighting.

╷Special Characteristics╷: Maugan's formidable power comes at a dark price. His current kind demeanor defends him from the darkness that lurks within his soul but it's possible he'll turn to darkness if life torments him enough.

╷Magic & Techniques╷:

Dark weaponry : Can call forth weapons summoned created from dark energy. These are typically his claws but can range from daggers to axes and even spears depending on his needs. Maugan will never be without a weapon because of this.

Dark Claw : Dark energy extends from his wrist to be used as close range talons. How sharp they are depends on how strong he is. So if he's weak they might aswell be made of glass.

Dark Blast : Fires a beam of dark energy from his mouth. Because he's still young it's not at it's full potential yet but is nonetheless comparable in power to that of older, more experianced dragon slayers.

Dark Shield : Covers himself with dark energy. The shield is very localised and isn't very strong because he's young. This could become a lot stronger as he masters his magic.

Dark Pulse : Unleashes a powerful shock wave by way of a scream. While the shock wave isn't powerful in it's normal form when in dragon force it's earshatteringly loud. This ability can stun weaker enemies and temporarily disorientate stronger ones.

Shadow Meld : Becomes one with the shadows around him making him incredibly hard to see. In places with low visibilty it makes him invisible. This is only an optical camoflage as he can still be detected by his magical power, scent and sound.

Shadow Clone : Creates a duplicate from Dark Energy that looks identically and is controlled by Maugan. This can be used to juke attacks and confuse enemies in combination with Shadow Meld. The clone only lasts a few seconds because of the energy requirements.

Dragonforce: The Dragon Slayer enters a state of vast power and regeneration. Their body begins to gain attributes of a dragon. Slits for eyes, scale-like skin and long claws for attacking. Their magic is doubled and their bodies heal.

High endurance: Maugan's intense fighting style takes up a lot of energy causing him to become stronger and more fit over the years.

High Durability: The Dark Power that swirls through Maugan's power forms an inner barrier that increases his durability. He's taken many blows that would have killed him otherwise because of this innate ability.

╷Biography╷: All that Maugan knows for sure is that he had been an orphan at one point but has never really bothered to dig into his past. His first memories are of Acnologia taking him under it's wings to teach him the power of a Dark Dragon Slayer. Maugan never understood what the dragons reason for this had been and suspected that if he found the answer he'd end up feeling bad because of it so he never really researched into it. For Maugan the past rarely had any relevance, at least his own didn't.

After months of tutalege under Acnologia the dragon vanished without a trace of it to be found, leaving the young boy alone in the western shadow isles, a place most adults couldn't survive. He'd spent a long time on his own in that terrible place, thriving where he should have had no chance at life at all. Eventually it had been Ginookaze no Jinn that had found the kid during on of his minions and took him back to Fairy Tail.

It had been incredibly hard for him to transition into living in the guild as he'd had nothing in way of education or culture as the wilds had raised him up to this point. He'd been wild and borderline insane with crazy amounts of power but the entire guild had chipped into raise the young mage. As time went on he changed completely to a pleasant and kind young lad that was utterly dedicated to his friends. While he found it hard to trust people he would do anything for them. As time passed on his power grew too and he ended up as an S-class mage at a very young age which showed just how strong he was.



╷Personality╷: Most of the time Maugan is a fairly normal person. He's quite a kind person to most and will treat people fairly and with respect. Despite this he has a tendancy to be a loner because most people are afraid of the nature of his power. Everyone knows his power comes from the dark dragon and it's said that it's power brings nothing but ruin.

When faced with a threat Maugan's attitude changes completely. He loses all reason and stops at nothing to destroy his enemies, tearing them apart with powerful and brutal magic. When he was young he had trouble telling the difference between friend and foe though he's learned this by now.

While compassion and friendship have been taught to him the concept of love is something that he's unfamiliar with and doesn't even understand it. Should he be confronted with it or experience it he could end up very confused and disorientated as he doesn't deal well with sudden change.

Maugan hadn't been home in a very long time! The guild had sent him out into the western desert for a year long mission to help the Killik dessert clans. While it wasn't an extremely well paid mission it had been part of a longer term contract that went back hundreds of years into Fairy Tail's past to lend aid against the massive sand worms of legend. Normally given the enviroment they would have sent Valena but she was too busy and as a result they sent Maugan instead.

The mission had ended up going completely out of hand with Shai'Hulud, the mother of all worms showing up, angered by the destruction of so many of it's desert children. He could have sworn that the worm had been a genuine intelligence but it was really rather simple in the end, the worms were a threat and so they were to be destroyed. Using the formiddable power of his shadow magic he'd decimated the sand worm population to a point where they were no longer a threat. Had it been up to Maugan he'd have wiped them all out, hunted them down into their lairs but the locals had asked him not to and he respected their wishes.

As the mission wrapped up he began the long journey home to Fairy Tail again, taking with him one of the massive teeth that had belonged to Shai'Hulud, it being even bigger then his chest. Because of this he was quite a bit slower and was going to arrive home behind schedule but he doubted that people would mind all to much. Maugan had a tendency to bring back trophies from his missions and this was going to be the most splendit one so far. The younger mages were also always eager to hear his stories though for the sake of their fragile little spirits he spared them the details of how he ripped his enemies to shreds.

Maugan always prefered this part of the trip, it was because he was almost home now. A few more minutes and he'd be at the end of the forrest and get a beautiful view of Magnolia town and the Guild. Whistling and singing softly he made his way forward happily, eager to be home with his friends. Actually he didn't consider the people of Fairy Tail as his friends, they were his family pretty much. They were the ones that had shaped him as a young boy into the proud man that he would be one day.

As he finally reached the end of the forrest his jaw dropped and the happy expression on his face changed to one of pure anguish. "Wha... wha.... what happened?" He barely managed to utter and began to make his way down, abandoning his trophy so he could run down faster. Magnolia town laid in ruins before his eyes, his home and the people that he was supposed to protect. The battle looked recent and he knew that he could have been here if it hadn't been for his silly hobby of taking home objects from missions to entertain children, children that were no probably dead.

He wanted to try and find the guild but when he reached the edge of the decimated city he dropped to his knee's unable to go further and let out an earshattering cry that would be heard for miles in the area. The members of Fairy Tail would recognise that it was his as only he could let lose such a wounded animalistic cry. Despite his best attempts he could go forward as the sight was simply too much for him, if anyone were to approach him they'd better be a friendly or they'd be torn to shreds.

╷Special Characteristics╷: Val isn't human anymore, he's a being of pure blood hold together soley by the strength of his spirit and willpower.

╷Magic & Techniques╷:
Blood magic : Val was granted this power from the chaos god of blood, Khorne, himself. His entire being consists of blood leaving no actual flesh, bones or tissue to be damaged by attacks. He has perfect control of this blood and can manipulate the shape at will. Being like this also makes him nearly impervious to normal blows.

Consume : Takes the blood of the nearby dead for his own, feasting on it to grow stronger or taking it into himself to replenish blood lost via injury or casting.

Aspect of Sanguine : Turns his body into a pool of blood to evade attacks directed at him. In this liquid state he is more vulnerable to AOE damage and elemental damage(Fire and Ice especially)

Tides of Blood : Sends out shards of blood to stab at nearby enemies. Using this hurts him but the after effects empower his magic. The more he uses it the stronger his spells become but the more vulnerable he becomes(think glass cannon).

Hemoplague : Vomits out blood in a large cone infront of him. Targets hit with this suffer from a blood infection that saps their power, lowering their defenses for Val's attacks(also those of his allies).

Mitosis : Val splits into two parts of equal strength. This can only be done when his being is saturated with blood and only sustained for a limited period as Val's soul still controls the two bodies. This can be used in conjunction with Aspect of Sanguine to feign death and get away from overwhelming power.

Harden : Val changes his body into a hardened sphere to take heavy blows. In this state his senses are dulled leaving him vulnerable to secundairy attacks. The transition into the sphere is quick but changing back is slower and leaves him open to attacks for a second or two.

Spiked shell : Val's shell isn't without it's bite. He can sacrifice some of it's defensive capabilities to extend hardend spikes from his defensive shell to ward off close range assaults while in this state.

Envelop : Val is able to take a single person into his Shell to defend them from attack or capture a weakened foe. The downside is that this makes the shell a lot weaker as the density won't be consistent anymore, spikes also can't be used in this situation. The person inside also can't breathe which is also a downside when used with allies.

Mimic : If Val gets his hands on even a single drop of a person he is able to mimic their appearance perfectly. Knowledge and personality however are not included in this so he had to improvise when he uses this to infiltrate.

Tribal magic : Before becomming the avatar of blood he was a simple but powerful wizard of the tribe known as Ulthawé, making him very proficient in the use of spirit magic and usage of the jungle.

Big Bad Voodoo : Summons a bone totem from the ground that empowers nearby allies. It increases their defenses and augments their stamina as they use power from the totem.

Acid Cloud : Summons a giant skull above the heads of his enemies that vomits out a noxious cloud of acid. Depending on how much power he puts into the spell the acid can burn straight through steel and flesh.

Leviathan : Corpses that are too badly mauled to be used as undead infantry are grouped together and merged into a single massive undead creature with a limited lifespan. The size of the creature will depend on the amount of nearby corpses.

Bat Cloud : Summons a cloud of bats from the netherworld. Depending on his needs these bats can be fueled to explode with different elemental energies. If they're not charged they will simply claw and bite at the enemy.

Grasp of the Dammed : The area underneath his enemies shifts as hands of vengeful spirits grasp at their legs, clawing and grasping them. This spell does no damage and is only useful as area denial, terror tactic or pinning down enemies for a short while.

Spirit Charger : Summons an angry spirit to lash out the enemy. Almost harmless but it's howl is terrifying. It's purpose is to distract enemies for more powerful magic.

Damnation : The Spirit Charger explodes on Val's command in a torrent of toxic blood.

Army of the Dammed : Combining his blood and power over spirits he's able to raise the dead to fight for Eclipse. Raised bodies retain most of their power but will lack the intelligence of the original owner of the body. This spell takes up a lot of his power and is one of the reasons that Eclipse is such a terrifyingly powerful guild.


╷Biography╷: Val's story as a human is a rather tragic one. He grew up in the Catachan jungles as one of the notorious witch doctors of that region, mages capable of using the spirit world for their own needs, capable of unleashing terrifying magic on their enemies. By their very nature their magic was considered unholy and dark. The witch doctors themself however had nothing but respect for the spirits, most let these spirits guide their hand in their actions.

But Val was sadly the runt of the litter, born with weak power and a weaker mind he was doomed to be a nobody in his tribe. Because of this he had a desperate thirst for power, to show everyone that he too could reach a position of power. He kept picking fights with everyone, using viscious and underhanded tactics to undercut them, for this behavior he was banished from his tribe, left alone he stalked the jungle trying to find a way to survive.

It was then that he came across a shrine to the chaos god of blood, the dark god known as Khorne. In his desperation he turned to this being to help him and help him it did. He gained a lot of power in return for his fealty but was just the beginning. The god wanted a tribute in return, it wanted the slaughter of his old tribe, something that he eagerly agreed to do.

He'd been granted blood magic in a weak form aswell as augmented witch doctor powers, with those two combined he launched a suprise assault on his old home, butchering the hundreds of tribespeople there as they were simply no match for his combined powers. During the battle he'd succombed to a vicious blood rage where he just wanted more blood to be spilt. He didn't stop at the one tribe, no he started a massive killing spree across the other tribes for weeks.

Eventually there were simply no tribes left, he'd butchered his own kin till the last person and he was the last one left now. The dark god had been pleased with the actions and named him a champion of Khorne. His entire body turned into blood, making him the Avatar of Blood.

Following his ascension he was sent out into the world to terrorise the world. During his travels he encountered many prominent mages and earned himself the reputation as a brutal monster, a real evil. It was during this time that he came across Knightmare and the two quickly formed a bond, recognising eachother's strength and service to the dark gods. The two of them became an infamous duo and eventually joined Eclipse after centuries of causing terror.

However the fun didn't last and at one point he had the misfortune to come across Samara. He was no match for the ancient and despite a long battle she locked him up in the Monolith. Now he was stuck there, biding his time for when he would be free again. The likes of Val were eternal.


╷Personality╷: Val is as bloodthirsty as they come though not in a sense that most mortals would see it. What Val wanted in the end was really simple, he wanted blood to flow freely, preferably accomanied by as much pain and agony as possible. In combat he has a tendency to inflict cruelties upon his foes to demoralise the opposition.

The only thing that Val has ever respected is strength. He will follow a commander if he thinks the person in question is strong and capable enough to do so. When someone gets Val's respect he will be a friend to them, go out drinking with them and even assisting them in combat. Living an eternal life can be boring so he can be tempted to protect weaker mages on his side so they can continue to amuse him and stop his life from being dull.

Fire Dragon Slayer Magic : She is adept with her Dragon Slayer Magic and makes use of it in many different ways in combat.As with all Dragon Slayers, she can consume her respective element, with the exception of that which she has created, to replenish her energy reserves. The heat of her fire can increase in temperature, which is proportional to Shyvana's emotional state. Ther is called the Flame of Emotion. She incorporates the flames she ignites into her fighting style, greatly increasing the damage of her blows. As such, Shyvana's Magic revolves around the usage of fire that can spout from any part of her body. Shyvana's ability to eat flames gives her immunity to most types of flames and allows her to spew fire from her lungs. Ther fire is exceptionally strong - equivalent to a dragon's fire - being able to burn even through metal. She can even use her flames to create a propulsive effect.

Fire Dragon's Roar : Shyvana breathes a long line of fire that becomes a large fireball, which burns her opponent.

Fire Dragon's Claw : Shyvana ignites her feet with a very large flame to increase the power of her kicks. She can also use the strong ensuing flames to jet-propel her in any direction she wishes.

Fire Dragon's Iron Fist : Shyvana engulfs her fist in large flames and punches her opponent which makes her opponent fly away.

Fire Dragon's Wing Attack : Shyvana takes hold of her opponent and ignites her arms and hands on fire, in the form of dragon wings as support, to throw them far away while burning them.

Fire Dragon's Sword Horn : Shyvana ignites her entire body on fire in order to ram into her opponent at full speed, then launch them high into the air with her large horn of fire.

Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame : Shyvana creates fire on both hands, and brings them together, creating a giant explosion that destroys everything around her.

Fire Dragon's Flame Elbow : After Shyvana ignites the tip of her elbow, she uses that flame to strengthen her fist, and rocket the opponent high in the air.

Fire Dragon's Crushing Fang : With her hand ignited with a large flame, Shyvana gouges her hand into her enemy and quickly swipes her enemy away from her sight.

Dragon Slayer's Secret Art :

Crimson Lotus: Fire Dragon's Fist : Lighting her hands on fire, Shyvana rapidly punches her opponent. Each punch causes a fiery explosion.

Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade: After a series of destructive attacks, Shyvana finishes with a torrent of blade-shaped flames that strikes the enemy in a spiral formation. Every time the enemy is hit with a blade, it explodes and burns the enemy. Described as the ultimate Dragon Slayer technique, the attack is so powerful and destructive that it has been shown to smash through dragon scales ---- which is known to have extremely tremendous endurance capabilities.

Crimson Lotus: Phoenix Blade : Shyvana ignites her entire body with the power of the Flame of Rebuke. She then charges towards the enemy and delivers a devastating punch that blows up the enemy, then proceeds to headbutt him/her. The is also described as The Ultimate Dragon Slayer Technique and the Dragon Slayer's Hidden Art, Sea Fire Style.

Dragon Force : Because of her nature as a half-dragon she’s very much in touch with the power of a Fire Dragon. For as long as she could remember she could use this power. The Magic is said to be the final and most powerful state a Dragon Slayer can attain in which the user's body turns into that of a dragon. Their Magic Aura becomes visible and their Dragon Slayer powers increase tremendously.

Dragon Form : Shyvana isn’t just a Dragon Slayer, she is partly a dragon and as such once she’s become strong enough she can change her form into that of her father(a female version of course). This would be her most powerful form but she will likely never show it. She doesn’t want people to know about his aspect of her and as long as she has people that care for her she’ll keep this hidden. Perhaps only in the depths of desperation will she reveal this form of hers and she would likely slip into a depression following it, depending on their reactions.


╷Biography╷:

Shyvana had an interesting childhood. Like all Dragon Slayers she was raised by a dragon but she actually did know one of her parents. She's the actual daughter of a dragon, the fire Dragon known as Igneel. Who her mother was she never learned, she died before Shyvana was old enough to actually be able to remember things. She was told that she'd been a beautyful redheaded woman with hair more fierce then her own by her father. Igneel had taught her everything from language to writing and even the social graces of human society.

When she turned twelve Igneel sent her out into the world. As much as he loved his daughter he knew that she belonged in society and that he couldn't keep taking care of her. It had saddened Shyvana to no end but she accepted the wisdom of her father and headed out into the world. She ended up arriving in Lamia Scale, she liked the scale part in the name as it reflected the Dragon part in her.

She was quickly accepted by the guild and grew to become one of the popular mages. Her cheerful attitude always keeping spirits high and her power was quite impressive. She liked being around other mages and looked up to those that were stronger then her. There was a lot of work to be done before the young woman would be the terror that she could become and she worked tirelessly to reach that point. Would she be rewarded for her hard work in the months to come?



╷Personality╷:
Shyvana has a fiesty and playful spirit. To most it seems like she's somewhat of an immature person when they deal with her but she's usually quick to become serious in the face of trouble. She cares deeply for the friends she makes but true loyalty isn't something people can easily get from her. What she is exactly is her greatest secret and would only intrust it to those that she would trust with all her heart.

As the daughter of a fire dragon she can be unpredicatble like wild fire but she's also very passionate. If someone were to win her heart it is quite possible that they would be treated like loyalty by her, as long as respect was always present. She'd be the first to defend this person and would to her dying breath. Everything she does she does with all her heart, the word lazyness doesn't exist in her vocabulairy.

A pair of Crimson eyes watched the new arrivals from a great distance. "Interesting. These must be the people that the old man spoke of." The crimson haired woman spoke and tapped her chin slowly as she debated her options. The guards were quick to approach them and speak to them. They were going to be taken to her father to be sure and then there would be a whole bunch of politics involved. There wasn't any time for that. Now the woman loved her father to death to be sure but he was getting old which was starting to show. The Corrupted were in their realm for hundreds of years now and the royal family had fought them for as long. Faced with the fire that only the royal family could breathe the Corrupted had been unable to gain a decent foothold in the realm. Before the Corrupted arrived many had begun opposing the claim her family had to the throne but faced with how dragon fire quickly dispatched Corrupted soldiers the rebellion died overnight.

However despite the might of their fire they weren't able to eliminate the threat entirely. If they were to cleanse the invasion area they would just appear elsewhere. They came from a different place, from another realm but so far no one from the royal family had been allowed to leave the realm as they were needed to defend the world. Shyvana wanted to go though, she felt that it was the only way to break the cycle that had lasted so very long now. She suspected that her father and her ancestors had wanted things to stay like this because they could stay in power. However with trying to contain something like the Corrupted was a very bad idea, something that shouldn't be messed with. It was like a child playing with fire, you'd think the royal family would know better.

She debated her options at this point along with the consequences of the actions that she was planning on taking. When she reached her conclusion she smirked as she knew her father wasn't going to approve. Behind her the guards were reaching the same conclusion. "Make sure my father takes his medicine. He'll need it." She said and then jumped out the window. As she travelled towards the ground she changed into her animal form which transformed her female body into that of a dragon. Depending on how much power she put into it she could turn into a bigger dragon. Legends said that her great grand father could dwarf a mountain. Considering that her most powerful was half that of their castle she wondered just how strong he might have been.

For a brief while she soared through the air, loving the feel of the air on her scales while keeping a constant eye on the visitors. Little did she know that dragons existed in their world but only as mythological figures. They were in for a surprise to find out that there was more to her than just her dragon form. After she had flown for long enough she started to make her descent. Usually she was rather fast and brazen when she did this but she knew better than to startle people that weren't used to having giant beings swoop down from the sky. Once she touched down on the ground her form changed into her usual form. A beautiful red haired woman with piercing crimson eyes.

"Greetings travelers. I am princess Shyvana of the royal house of Vandari. I welcome you to our lands and will answer any questions you have." She said in a kind voice that still carried a hint of her rather wild nature. Behind her the guards that had been escorting the guests shifted uncomfortably and one of them was about to speak out before a single finger from his princess silenced him. "My father is not well and frankly at this point he would waste more time then needed. Something I'm sure you don't want."

By the blood of my father, I will end them!

Jaing's basic combat style revolves around using weapons(including ammo) and his powered suit of armor. Weapon swapping can be done very fast in combat, ammo is slower.

Storm Bolter : The Storm Bolter is a double barreled .25 caliber assault weapon that's mounted to Jaing's right arm. The rate of fire is about 500 RPM but sustained fire at this rate will cause overheating and put the weapon out of commission while it cools down again. Despite the weight and recoil Jaing can fire it accurately because of the armor's strength enhancing properties.

Ammo types : There are various types of ammo that can be fired the storm bolter. Types can be changed on the fly but the next round is delayed by half a second during the transition. The types are the following(links) :

Flamer : The flamer is mounted underneath his right gauntlet from a nozzle. It fires a mix of highly volatile liquid chemicals which ignite with the use of a pilot light. The flaming chemical sticks to its target and continues burning on its own accord - those who are not killed instantly die horribly as the super-hot chemical continues to burn through their bodies. The most common flammable substance used as Flamer fuel is Promethium, which is a petroleum-like jelly that can stick to a target and is very similar to napalm. The flamer fires a burst of expanding flames, making the weapon effective at killing enemies in cover.

Hexdrinker weaponry : Hexdrinker weaponry is a special type of weapon that's designed to interact with magic. The weapons are able to devour magic that it touches, nullifying them and empowering the strikes of said weapon. When fully charged the weapon can be used to fire arcane bolts. Excess energy is fed into the suit to empower it. When fully charged the hexdrinker protocol stops absorbing magic. It's unable to fully absorb powerful magic however as it would overload the protocol.


Broadsword : This is the weapon that Jaing's most familiar with. A balanced broadsword with Nemesis traits.

Pike : Basically a Nemesis blade attached to a long adamantine staff. The bottom tip has a sharp spike that can be used to jab with if the main blade is out of position. The staff itself is extendable but the maximum length is 3 meters.

Claws : Basically a set of four, seven inch Nemesis blades mounted to each of his arms. They are designed for either puncturing enemy armor or to rip out chunks of enemy flesh. note : Equipping the claw set removes the Storm Bolter

Hammer : A heavy two handed hammer that Jaing wields fairly swiftly despite it's size and weight because of the augmented strength of his armor. When the hammer connects with an enemy it will give off an additional shock wave that can stun enemies hit by it aside from it's nemesis effect.

Grey Knight Suit : [reference 1][reference 2]
Grey Knight armor is an advanced form of combat armour used by the Kirameki's combat personel. It is a completely enclosed suit of combat armour composed of thick ceramite plates that possesses a full suite of life-support functions for operation in hostile environments, an automated medicae system to provide some level of first aid to a wounded wearer and a highly advanced and fully integrated tactical targeting and threat analysis system that's displayed via a magically projected HUD before the viewer's eyes. The armour would be heavy and cumbersome to wear but for the magically motivated fibre bundles within the armour that replicates the wearer's movement and enhances his strength beyond its already considerable human baseline.

Attributes :

Powered : Despite it's weight the strength assistance and feedback system allows the user to remain fast, actually even faster then normally. It augments the user instead of wearing him/her down through the usage.

Elemental resistance : The defenses of this armor are to say simply extreme. It's graded to withstand up to 10 000 degrees and internal systems provide resistance against shocks of both physical and electrical nature.

Power Supply : The armor has various power supplies and is meant for prolonged usage in the field. The first power supply is the magical energy reserve from the user itself, it's the prime fuel for the suit up to a point where the user's reserve gets to 80 percent capacity. From then on it will begin relying on internal capacitators (made from lacrima) and energy stored from the Hexdrinker protocols.

Spell Breaker :

Class definition :
While an armored knight in service of the council his family still has deep roots in their tradition of demon and dark wizard slaying. Every member of the Kirameki is a competent spellbreaker with Jaing being the youngest master in the art for generations. The closer the magic is to raw energy or arcane power the easier it is for Jaing to manipulate it's flow.

usage : Jaing is able to form barriers or fields to disassemble, reflect or deflect magic used near him.


barrier : It's actually more of a dome that Jaing creates in an area, this dome can have the three different attributes and is generally a weaker but larger scale version of a spell breaker field.

field : A concentrated field of a free shape that can have the three different attributes. Maximum size is about 2 square meters. Typically used for personal defense.

note : Both constructions are ablative in nature, they will shatter into nothing when broken to avoid an overload.

Traits

Tactical mastermind : The Kirameki clan organised war games to let their neophytes learn how to wage war. Because of this Jaing had a lot of tactical experience before joining the Rune Knights, something that only improved he he took command of squads in the field.

Master Weapons Specialist: From the moment that Jaing was able to hold a weapon in his hands he was trained in the ways to use it. This includes his various close combat weapons and his gun. While he won't be able to outright defeat specialists his ability to quickly change combat styles is something to be reckoned with.

Immense Magic Power: As a Commander of the Rune Knights, Jaing has immense reserves of Magic Energy. When pushed, his Magic Power is silver in color.

Expert Hand to Hand Combatant: Despite having a small arsenal in weapons for his usage his training has included various martial arts that he mastered over the years.

╷Biography╷:

Jaing is the oldest man of the current Kirameki generation, a family known for their mages joining up the Rune Knights. Because of this he was the one that became the center of attention and was trained by all manner of experts to become the best there was in the family. This went from combat training to politics and even poetry because his father apparently had a boner for that sort of stuff. By the time he was Sixteen his training was finished and he was sent off to the military academy.

Once there he was quick to make loyal friends and together with them he went through the program in record time, becoming one of the mages to finish it the fastest, yet not the fastest. By this time he was twenty-one and was unleashed into the world. The next three years he worked hard to build up a reputation in the world. He's been a commander for two years now and has earned the general respect of his peers for his hard work and dedication. s**t has hit the fan recently and Jaing wasn't able to aid in the situation because he was leading an expeditionary force. In the following chaos he's the one that picked up the pieces by taking up the mantle of high commander and lead a counter offensive so the rest of the Rune Knights can lick their wounds. The Rune Knights are going to need every soldier they can muster in the days to come.



╷Personality╷:

Jaing is a kind person that will help out those that he cares about. When dealing with friends he'll be playful and tease them when he gets a chance, especially the people he works with in the Rune Knight. When dealing with people he doesn't really know he'll be polite and depending on their status even formal. People he doesn't like however will know it as he simply won't respect them, even if they are superior to him though he might sugar coat it a little bit.

The concept of honor is something that's very important, he takes the 'knight' part in Rune Knight very seriously just like every member of his family. He will treat people fairly and thinks that justice is a very important thing in life. He's quick to make his mind up about people but doesn't put much faith in rumors, preferring to see things for himself. However he does trust what his friends say to him, except when he catches on that they are teasing him.

Biography: Tai's early past is something he can't remember and would rather keep it that way, nothing that happened during that period made him the man he is today so he doesn't want it to distract him from who he is. You see when he turned four the Jedi Order scouted his potential and they fashioned him into a glorious jedi knight, a defender of the universe(or something like that). He managed to make his way up to a knight and eventually left the order at age sixteen following an arguement with several jedi masters. He thought the council and the jedi were too soft and that in due time they would simply fail in their mandate to keep the peace. He renounced his status as a jedi but of course he kept the nifty skills that he had been taught and was eventually found by a mandalorian mercenairy. He was taken in by the woman and was trained to be a proper mando by her, eventually he was adopted too. The woman knew well enough that he was a jedi but had told him that it was his heart that mattered, not some stupid things that drifted in his blood or whatever gave him his 'powers'.

So he became a Mandalorian with force powers and to make things worse his favorite thing in the galaxy(aside from women) was messing with computers. While he was no match for the top slicers he could do a fair bit of damage should he ever decide to do so.

Misc: While being a former Jedi he would rather call himself a grey jedi, his lightsabre is hidden in his adoptive mother's house and he's a computer specialist to boot.

Biography: Kai is a man that's been handed the s**t end of life for the most part. Only when deciding to take what he wanted and needed from life did he finally achieve what he wanted. When he was eleven years old the Jedi Order decided that he was going to be too dangerous a Jedi so they locked him up. He stayed in that force prison for three years before managing to break out with the help of a sympathetic guard. His time in the prison changed him, made him darker but the guard that got him out took him to Mandalore, to his family. While the clan wasn't too keen on having a force user around they saw the broken fourteen year old and did everything they could to mend him. For the next eleven years they shaped him into the man that he always wanted to be. Their teaching taught him the value of life, friends and valor better then the Jedi Order ever did. While there was little he had done so far to be proud of he knew that a certain person was looking down at him with a smile. In due time Kai would make her sacrifice worth it. Current galactic politics pit him against the republic and he'd fight them without hesitation though he doesn't trust the Sith one bit. All he cares for right now is to be there for his friends, the rest of the universe can honestly burn and he simply wouldn't give a ********.
