▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇...You know it's мє not you,who said anything about you? There was a big lump under many blankets that was just lying there peacefully. This lump is Thomas Alexander Hale and he is also a prince. Although some wish this was not so for they did not fine him to be the most charming or great with words. You might be thinking that he is just clumsy and goofy but that is very far from it. The boy does have his way with words but those ways tend to be considered as terribly rude and unacceptable for a prince. A majority of the time they are very correct but the thing is that he doesn’t care, which is a problem when you are a prince. If you’re prince you are destined to take the thrown someday and rule your country along with looking after all of your people. The thing is that Thomas is just kind of in it for the perks no matter how hard his father has tried to get it through his thick skull that they are not the point. He has told him time and time again that he really needs to start thinking about what is best for the kingdom for there will eventually be a time when he is not around. Seeing as the prince doesn’t care about anyone but himself he has ignored his father every time, occasionally just to be spiteful. Although things were slowly beginning to get better between their kingdom and the one across the way it had not always been that way. For centuries the two had hated each other and been a war of sorts. It was mostly just bad mouthing each other for a while until they finally decided that it was time to go to war even though they were both terrified of the idea. His kingdom was ready but his father always tried to avoid war in any way possible, so when they reached out an olive branch for peace his father gladly accepted. Thomas on the other hand would have gone to war anyway and shown to mercy to make sure that they would never bother them again. Of course there would forever be a grudge between the two but he really didn’t care much about that small fact. The two had decided that marrying the other kings daughter to his son would be the best thing to do which Thomas hated. Maybe he would have been a little more accepting to this idea if the woman was at least hot but there was nothing about her that said attractive, As much as he refused to marry her his father said that there was no way he was getting out of it. Seeing as the prince was so used to getting his way this was something new to him and he did not like it one bit. This peace thing was certainly not valuable enough for him to get married to that troll! Sadly he was the only one who saw it this way.
“Prince, you must wake up your father wishes to see you.” He groaned a she slowly emerged from his warm blankets to glare at the woman who dared to wake him from his slumber. “Tell him I’ll be there as soon as I can.” The woman looked very nervous almost like a scared baby animal and it annoying the hell out of Thomas. “He said it was urgent and he needed you right away.” When she finally managed to spit the words out he knew it was probably important but the man really did not care how badly his father wanted to see him. “That’s wonderful. I’ll be there when I get there.” The small woman bowed her head and practically ran out the door which made him chuckle. She was obviously new to the job for all the elders would never want to do the job for they knew the consequence of waking the prince. He slowly began to rise from the bed to look out at the kingdom that would eventually be his. Even though he would never admit it that though did scare him sometimes but not enough for it to really matter. It seemed as though something suspicious was going on which was really the only reason he did actually begin to put clothes on to go meet his father. If it had been any other time he probably would have take a few hours until he finally got up to his father. As he made his way to his father he could see that everyone was rushing around and seemed to be panicked. There were even soldiers marching out of the castle which began to worry him a little. Were they going into war after all? As happy as he was about the possibility of not having to marry the troll princess from across the way he still wanted to know what was going on. Thomas grabbed one of them and pulled them aside to ask what was going on. “Hey, where is everyone rushing off to, and why?” The male looked shocked just to be pulled away by the prince himself until he glared at him. Waiting is not something that he enjoys very much for no one makes him wait and he was not about to start now. “Pirates are heading our way your majesty!” The man was now looking down which annoyed him so he just pushed him away again so that he could be on his way. Thomas was now rushing towards his father to see what was really going on considering he would be the one to know the most about it. Once he had burst through the doors to see his dad’s aggravated face he knew he wanted to yell at him. Sadly the poor old man wasn’t going to get the chance to do so. “I demand to know what is going on here!” His father’s brows furrowed as he began to massage his head as if Thomas had given him a headache. The man shooed away the servant along with others who were in the room who he did not wish to be there as he explained what was going on. "Well, Son there seems to be pirates heading towards the kingdom for unknown reasons. We’re hoping we can get rid of them before they can reach land but there are no promises. I’m going over there to make sure everything goes smoothly I don’t want you causing any trouble over here, okay? “ It was funny that his father thought he would just be able to stay in the castle when there was finally something exciting happening. He remembered all the stories his nannies would tell him about when he would be king that he would save the kingdom from crazy pirates. Maybe he would be able to do that now before he was even king. Either way it sounded better than just sitting in the castle doing nothing.
“Ha! Nice try I’m coming with you.” His father opened his mouth most likely ready to protest but he soon remembered who he was trying to fight with. There is no way that he would have won that fight and put a smile on his face to know that his old man knew he had been defeated. He began to rise from his thrown and signaled for his son to follow him out the door. The king told a maid that they were going to need two horses ready rather than one which he found odd. Did the man really think that Thomas wouldn’t find out about what was going to happen? Really, some people can be quit foolish thinking that he doesn’t know any and everything going on. Whether this done by fear or just simply being filled in by someone else in the palace. Soon they were heading out of the gates on their horses with guards around them to protect them. He was sure that there was no way his father would allow him to be anywhere near the pirate or the water for that matter. Well, sure if he died there was no one to take over the thrown but he still deserved to see what was really going on if he wanted to. These people really need to learn to take chances. When they arrived they were close enough to see the water but they were not very close to the ship that could clearly be seen on the ocean. Why were they even coming to their kingdom? There really isn’t much of value that they would in the small kingdom, would they kidnap someone. They got off of their horses and were lead to another area that was supposed to be safe for royalty but Thomas easily managed to wander off. Soon he was right by the water away from everyone else and he could not be seen at all and then he suddenly heard what sounded like someone stubbing their toe on wood and was very confused. No one else ever came down where he was and when he turned around to see untamed men he was ready to bolt. Sadly, he decided this too late because before he knew it he was being grabbed and blindfolded. They had also covered his mouth which he assumed was to keep their cover but it also might have been because they didn’t want to hear his yelling. This was most definitely not what he wanted. His father would be terribly mad that the guards had managed to let him get away along with being mad at Thomas for sneaking away. Then again there was always the possibility that he would never come back home. It finally dawned on him that they could easily kill him if they wanted to. The prince was suddenly very worried about the predicament he had managed to get himself into.
ooc: Sorry if it's too short I hope I gave you enough to work
