Born in the country of Club, your life was one of hard work with a mix of freedom. Surrounded by sprawling fields and rolling hills, your parents raised you on the family farm while teaching you the tools of their trade. Your mother educated you at home because the nearest school was much too far to walk to while your father taught you how to be quite the handyman around the house. When you came about the age of eleven, your father brought you with him on his weekly voyage into the main city to trade, buy, and sell. These were the only times you were able to see anyone you could consider a friend. Your father bought you a bow on your fifteenth birthday, and it seemed like you had a natural talent for archery. Trips to the city meant much more to you then. You displayed your prowess with the ranged weapon during many nationwide tournaments and became one of the best hunters known in Club. Eventually those with power witnessed your skill and attempted to recruit you into their army, but you immediately declined while explaining that you were needed more at home. You were then offered to represent the country in the traditional "game" of White Rabbit. Thinking it was some sort of hunting expedition, you graciously accepted. Now you find yourself preparing for the fight of a lifetime.

❝ ONCE UPON A TIME ❞




So you want to know a bit about my past eh? Why can't you people just ask me simple questions like who I think will win the next World Series? Well, have it your way. My parents are your typical middle class hard working people, simply trying to stay alive in this money hungry world. They met ages ago at some sports party of friend of theirs was throwing and something must have sparked between them. A few years later they got married, and about a year after that my older brother was born. Jeremy made my parents proud by learning things quickly, and before he was five he could throw a fast ball. He seemed to be born with talent spilling out his ears, so my dad signed him up in little league. The community finally saw my brothers talent after hearing about it for so long from my father. Every time he went out drinking with friends, he just had to let everyone at the bar know how great his son was at baseball. Another little surprise came along on my brother's fourth birthday, my mother gave birth to me. Happy Birthday Jeremy, here's a little brother to always live in your shadow.

My elementary school years weren't all that bad. I was just a carefree kid going to school with hopes of dreams of a future. My biggest concerns were staying in the lines while coloring and getting that ball before anyone else did when recess rolled around. A had a nice group of kids to hang out around and my older brother to take care of any problems I might have had on the playground. Now that you've got me remembering my past, I can honestly remember this girl I met at recess a couple of times. She was always with her close group of friends, so I was always to afraid to speak with her. Girls were mean back then, and they told me I didn't have my cootie shot or something like that so I had to go away. What am I saying? Girls are still mean even in high school! But this is all besides the point. When middle school came around, I the group I felt comfortable in broke apart do to changes in our likes and dislikes. I found my new home on the baseball team. If my brother could be so good at it, why couldn't I? Perhaps I was never as great as my brother at that age, but I knew that I would have to work three times as hard if I ever wanted to get out from behind hi shadow.

I finally got my break in high school. While my brother was helping the school win games as the varsity pitcher, I was sweating my a** of on the freshmen team. My dad would go see my brother, but never even asked me when I was playing. My chance to shine finally came once my brother graduated, but that plan failed when I learned he got a full-ride scholarship to some fancy college for baseball. This never made me quit the glove, but it did make me want to make my own place in this world. I may not be able to get as great as my brother, but I will become the best this school has ever seen. first I have to teach some druggie what it takes to get this good. Let's hope he is prepared to spend precious sweat and blood.





❝ LOVE ME OR HATE ME IT'S STILL AN OBSESSION... ❞




The only thing you could say I am obsessed with is baseball. I just love the sport! Nothing is better than throwing that quirky curve ball and striking out your opponent. Puts people in their place real quick. Yes, the competition gets to me and I soak it all in. I hate losing, especially since I can't afford to lose. The whole team is putting their faith in me not to give the other team any hits. If I can't do my part, then my teammates have to back me up. There is no I in team! Even though I try my best not to have to rely on others to get my job done, I do enjoy the team aspect of the sport. Just a bunch of guys working together in order to destroy the opponent, and that is exactly what we do. Playing sports all my life has also helped me to become more observant. I can hear just about everything that is happening on the field, which helps me to know when that punk on second base is trying to steal third. See! I love the game so much that I can't stop talking about it!

Aside from my intense mode while dressed in the uniform, I usually am a pretty calm and relaxed guy. I take my time while doing things, but still get the job done. Talking more than needed isn't my style, and the girls dig the strong and silent types. That's beside the point. Why keep chatting when everything coming out of your mouth makes you look stupid. I really don't like stupid people, but I have to deal with them every day I spend at this high school. Some people can just get on my nerves and they usually don't try anything to get off them. They keep pestering me and pestering me until I can't take it any longer. I'm not afraid of telling people off if they really deserve it. Like that one guy who kept asking to copy my essay for English class. Dude, he cowers whenever I glance at him now. Most people now me as the calm and relaxed guy that just likes to chill, unless you are stupid or annoying.

Are you freaking kidding me? Do I seriously have to team up with that stoner kid? I'm usually not one to judge, but I doubt that guy has any athletic talent. On top of that, he is scary as hell! I fail one miserable class, a class that I will probably never use in my life, and now I have to teach some scary dude how to through a fast ball? I didn't even want to take that class. Nobody likes the French. They give up whenever someone points a sharp stick at them. My counselor recommended I take the class because it would be an easy A. Then why the hell did I fail it! I think he tried to sabotage my future career. If I fail high school, then I will never be able to get into a good college and eventually go pro. I guess I should look on the bright side. I'm not the only person in this position and that stoner guy could turn out to be pretty cool. He better know how to catch a ball and not throw like a girl...

Appearance: Gregory stands at an height of about five feet and eleven inches and is only somewhat lanky. Having played Quidditch since he was twelve, his body is somewhat muscular. One of his most defining physical features is the dark red mess of hair on the top of his head. Though some people accuse him of magically dying it this color, it is in fact truth that this is his natural hair color. Complementing his strange hair color are bright green eyes that reveal his inner emotions most of the time, adding another unfortunate reason as to why people never leave him alone. His chin is slightly sharper than most boys his age, and someone had stated that it adds to his handsomeness.

Personality: Calm and collected are the two words that come to mind whenvere anyone asks about how to describe Gregory Wood. He is usually quite and never opens his mouth to speak if he feels his words will be wasted. When he speaks, his tone may sound rather bored, but he does not mean to look this way. He's not the most social person you can find. In fact, he hardly ever speaks. Though this might make him seem rather tough, he's actually a kind person. The sixteen year old would do anything to make his close friends happy and content. Seeing a friend sad always gets to him, and he tries his best to comfort them in any way possible. Aside from being calm and caring, Greg can get a bit competitive at times especially when dealing with Quidditch. He has spent so much time at the sport that he hates to lose, whether it be an argument or an actual match. Sometimes friendly discussions about teams can turn into a fist fight. That is only if you bad mouth his friends, family, and house. Several Slytherin players have had to go to the infirmary because of him, resulting in several trips to the headmistress's office. Even though he has gotten into trouble more than he has friends, those who care about him know what he is really like and enjoy his company. Gender: Male is what the doctor told my parents...

Age: 14 years and several more to go, I hope...

Biological parents: Michael Vanderdussen and the loving Amber Smith created me...

Appearance: Adolescence is such a pain in the neck! Because of these changes my body is going through right now, I look like a lanky nerd. I'm as skinny as it gets and even playing as a Beater doesn't help change this. People have even talked to me about my weight, saying that I would die if I got any skinnier. I can't help it people! I'm a growing young boy, and yes I eat more than you would think. My arms drop down to my waist and you can see my veins even when not undergoing physical exercise. One girl said that was attractive, but I high-tailed it out of there before she could say anything else. If I took off my shirt, and don't even try t get me to, then you would see a set of ribs and collar bones. I'm like a freaking walking skeleton and this won't change no matter ho hard I try!

I look like the plainest kid you'll ever see. When at school I wear my standard school robes with a green striped tie, but I'm even plain when dressing casual. My closet is filled with jeans and long sleeve shirts. Pretty fancy huh? Shoes consist of a collection of black sneakers, that way it won't b obvious that they are dirty. You will never catch me wearing white, and I always try to cover every inch of my body. You wants to see those scrawny arms of mine with all my veins sticking up?

Personality: I don't see myself as your typical Slytherin student. Though the house of the serpent values ambition, cunning, and resourcefulness, I can't tell you a time in my entire sixteen years of life when I displayed these characteristics. There really is no ambition for anything in my life, accept maybe my position as beater for my house. I made it on the team a few years back and have loved zipping around in the air hitting things with a bat. I still believe I wold have fit in any other house than Slytherin. I spends most of his time by myself studying or doing school work. When too many things are swimming through my mind, I have to mutter things under my breath as if I was speaking to someone close by. This sometimes scares people away, but I would rather be alone than swarmed by other people.

Biography: Unlike the rest of my Slytherin brethren, I am a half-blood wizard hailing from Northern Ireland. My father was on a diplomatic mission for the Ministry of Magic when he met my mother in a grocery store. He was quite confused by all the items within the building and my mother decided to help the frantic young man. After that they never left each others side and eventually joined hands in marriage. It took the man a few months to build up the courage to tell his wife that he was a wizard and not some accountant, but she was surprisingly accepting of the fact. To be honest, she knew of his secret a while back when she caught him speaking with another wizard out in the back yard. As the years went on, the lovely couple had a couple of kids. I was the oldest of three, and the only one to be sorted into the house of the sly snake. This was frowned upon by everyone in his family, due to the reputation Slytherin Wzards had. A couple of classmates from that house used to pick on his father when he was attending the school, so his parents were somewhat weary of the Sorting Hat's decision. Perhaps the tattered piece of apparel was playing a cruel joke.

My school years have been a pleasant one so far. Even though I have few friends compared to other people my age, I have made the best of these past few school years. Playing on my house Quidditch Team has gained my a little fame and a little confidence, but I don't let it get to the ego. If I did, then it would be easier for the other team's beater to knock me off my broom. Most of my days are spent quietly in class and then in the library afterward. Sometimes people have seen me flying around the pitch by my lonesome, which confuses a few people and causes them to stray away from me when seeing me in the halls. My father revealed to me early in the year that Hogwarts would be hosting a grand tournament, but also warned me of its dangers. I most likely won't put my name in the fiery drinking device, but it has put a few strange ideas in my head.

• Appearance: [X][X]

• Personality: Brock is considered one of the most mature, wise and level-headed Aura Knights his age, and he is arguably the most intelligent one as well. He often acts as an older brother and caretaker to the other Knights Minoris and a voice of reason in disputes. He will usually place others before him and will help and support his friends even against his better judgment or at his own expense. While he is not shown to battle often, he can understand the situations and strategies in any battle, and often uses this to exploit his opponent's tactics. His wisdom is possibly derived from how observant he is. He can tell just by sight how a Pokémon is feeling.

Unfortunately, all his maturity and rationality leaves him completely at the sight of a beautiful woman, as he falls in love with every pretty girl he meets. Brock has a desperate need for female companionship which grows worse as he fails to gain it. He will do anything and everything he thinks will impress women, which inevitably ends with his heart being broken every time almost as if he was doomed to fail. A few women have shown interest in him as well, but most do not notice him or are not interested. No matter how many times he is disappointed though, Brock remains determined to find a girl to start a relationship with and has joked about how he would stop training with the Aura Knights and stay with the girl if this happened. He often tries to teach The Lightning Blade how to 'charm the gals' so to speak, only for it to be noted that he doesn't seem to have much luck in that department anyways.

• History: Even though he is not as proud of it as others say he should be, the blood of an Aura Knight runs through Brock’s veins. Brockridge Anthemius is the first born son of Flint and Lola Anthemius. Since Flint had lived in Dober for most of his life, it was only a matter of time until he learned about the Gift of the Viridian Forest, a power that is granted to only a single child ever few years and bestows upon them the natural power of Aura. Since the members of the Anthemius family were known for becoming powerful knights, the man only wished to have a son with more power than any in the family before him. The newly crowned Count of Peauterburg immediately took his pregnant wife to Bosque Verde in hopes of their child being given the rare gift. Disappointment came when Brock was finally born and showed no signs of possessing the rare power. Flint neglected his son for quite some time, and continued to bring his wife to Bosque Verde whenever they were expecting another child. Young Brockridge was dragged along as well and saw each time his father’s plan failed. This resulted in Flint and Lola producing a total of ten children together.

Eventually, Lola got fed up with her husbands obsession with the gift and briefly left him to go explore Dober with a few associates. The count was furious with his wife’s decision and rashly told her to never return to Peauterburg. Because of this incident Brock had taken upon himself to raise his numerous siblings. His mother was no longer around and he could not rely on his father anymore. The young boy even feared that the man would toss them all out because they did not possess the power he sought. Sometime during his childhood, Brock started growing fond of all the Rock and Ground Pokemon wandering around the estate. Most of them were owned by his father, but that did not stop him from exploring the various caves around town with a couple of Sandshrew. The boy’s tenth birthday rolled around and his father, as well as his uncle Bruno, confronted him about carrying on the family tradition of joining the Aura Knights. He was unsure of this at first, but his uncle assured him that it was his rightful destiny. Brock reluctantly agree to become a knight like his father, even though he enjoyed raising Pokemon rather than battling with them. To his surprise, his father handed him a gray poke ball with his family crest etched upon it. The count explained to his son that every Anthemius was given an Onix when he joined the order of the Aura Knights and told him that he expected great things from his eldest son.

When the time came to leave his home and head to the Knight’s Keep with his uncle in order to be inducted into the order, the young Brock told his closest brother Forrest that it was now his responsibility to do what is best for the other siblings. He said goodbye to all his brothers and sisters and then departed. When he arrived at the keep, they gave him a crystal that allowed him to strengthen his bond with his Onix named Valero. The next couple of years were filled with hardship and intense training. Brock worked diligently to uphold the reputation of his family name. The last thing he needed was to fail and have his father be even more disappointed with him. He was determined to become the best of his class and the strongest Anthemius ever to walk the halls of the Keep. He had hoped his promotion to Knight Minoris would have been a memorable event, but it had happened soon after war broke out across the land and the ceremony was somewhat rushed.

The fighting spread from the borders and eventually dug its way into Dober itself. This made Brock want to fight even more because his homeland had been attacked, but his status did not allow him to. He had only been recently promoted, so he had to stay at the keep with his fellow Knights Minoris and the plethora of trainees. He convinced himself that it was best that he stayed back, stating to most around him that the generals and his uncle could take care of it. Then the opposition suddenly crumbled as soon as their leader disappeared. Now the order didn’t have to focus on a war, and could give the lower knights some assignments. Brock traveled across most of the land on random assignments given to him and his fellow Knights Minoris. During these assignments, he gathered a collection of companions, even breaking away from his fascination with rocks. Valero evolved into a powerful Steelix when Brock stumbled upon a metallic pool in one of the caves he was exploring, further strengthening the bond they had forged for so many years. Valero mostly has to stay outside the keep because of his size, but he rushed to his master’s aid whenever Brock may need him.

Brockridge is currently working hard to become the best Knight Minoris of his age and hopes to eventfully get promoted to Majoris. Some of his friends believe he can become the strongest if he works hard enough, but not many people notice this because of the shadow of popularity imposed by Gary and some of the other more liked Knights. Brock mostly spends his time hanging out with The Lightning Blade and The Ocean Star, developing a close relationship with the two. He had felt something strange when thinking about the Ocean Star, but knows not to pay attention to such feelings because they will only harm him. That girl already has her sights on the Lightning Blade, so what could he do? For now he will wait for that special someone to appear while giving all his energy to becoming the man he was destined to be.

• Weapons: Brock's weapon of choice is a large poleaxe, that can only be wielded with the strength of his bond with Steelix. If anyone else tried to wield this weapon, they would be overwhelmed by its weight and unable to use it effectively. The damaging weapon can be considered half battle ax half battle hammer. The head of the poleaxe is fitted with a spear head that can pierce even the strongest armor when Brock calls upon the strength of his partners. The shaft is wrapped in leather for better gripping when swinging this destructive tool.

• Other:
✿ Even though Brock regularly chases women, the only girl he has felt true feelings for is The Ocean Star, but he knows there is nothing he can do about it because he has seen the way she looks at The Lightning Blade.
✿ He may be one of the strongest Knights Minoris of his age, but Brock isn't really interested in fighting. He would feel much more comfortable at the academy. If anyone knew this, he would be eaten alive!
