Name: Moegi Calstithe
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Gem: Red spinel, worn as an anklet.
Gem's Power: Simple matter manipulation, if it’s solid and not overly complex -- for example she can’t manipulate electronic devices or water -- she can manipulate it for short times, long times take a lot of effort and concentration, and the matter is only manipulated for as long as she concentrates. She also can’t manipulate other peoples’ or her own gem, of course. Basically, think of alchemy from FMA. Now make it a billion times more pathetic. That's Moegi's power.
Role: The Pick Up Person
Personality: Very simple, she is easily pleased and easily angered, but she is usually quick to forgive and only holds really petty and childish grudges that don’t mean anything over light blackmail. Not very organized, probably not the best The Pick Up Person there could be…One of those people who needs things to be unorganized and yet knows where everything is. A little childish, it’s theorized that she never really grew up. Not really a fighting kind of person, although she does -sort of- know how to use a dagger for self defense. That’s about it. Likes hot chocolate.
Weapon: Snowballs and Water Balloons
Eye Color: Gray
Hair Color: Brown
Appearance: A relatively cutesy kind of girl who likes lace, vests, and bunny hats. She just turned twenty-one a few days ago but seems to be stuck on her sixteenth birthday or something.
History: Moegi has been around as The Pick Up Person for a while, maybe since she was around sixteen? Rumors say that she was once an organized person, and it’s up to speculation as to why she changed into the OH GOD NO NOT ORGANIZED THINGS AAAAAH person she is now. Rumors also say that she was once a pickle, so maybe it’s best to not believe what you hear in rumors….but that’s not the point. She’s got parents, they just aren’t anywhere near anyone else at the moment…and maybe aren’t even above ground at the moment. Hm.
Moegi was chosen when she was around thirteen, only she decided that fighting was not her thing and so wound up as The Pick Up Person three years after starting her training. As a result, her power isn’t very well developed and she rarely uses it. But the spinel is shiny! biggrin

Name: Violetta (Heillith)
Age: 27
Gender: Female
Gem: Sodalite [not really a gem but oh well D:], an armlet made of unpolished sodalite, along with a pure gemstone of sodalite adorning it (the actual gem focus).
Gem's Power: She can cause things to age/tarnish -- rust, wither, tarnish, etc.
Role: A Good Lieutenant, #3
Personality: A perfectionist, and also a little spiteful. She's been teased lightly or made fun of multiple times because of her gemstone and ability and as a result is a bit of a pessimist....she probably doesn't really even mean that well, and would probably save herself before saving others. Used to be in a gang-type environment and still retains a lot of habits from it. Not very patient, either.
Weapon: A long metal rod. It's retractable 8D
Eye Color: Dark reddish-pink
Hair Color: Deep, deep Violet
Appearance: ...she'd be pretty...if she wasn't almost always scowling...even when she is scowling, she still has a sort of harsh beauty...(LET'S SEE IF I CAN DRAW THIS XD)...long, striking violet hair and piercing eyes, a bunch of earrings (most of which are on her left ear) and she usually wears her hair down. She wears a coat similar to a trench coat, although the sleeves are detachable...and often are detached...Armlet on her shoulder...that general vicinity...yeah...She also wears shorts and tall lace-up boots. (DRAWN BUT MIGHT REJECT IT AND REDRAW WHO KNOWS)
History: Out of the twenty-seven years Violetta has been alive, she has been a member of the Special forces for around twelve of them. As a girl, she was one of those kids who just…had gone bad. Sure, she had parents, but she was on horrible terms with them. Violetta was destructive, violent, and…just a general not-fun-to be around person. Violetta was picked up off the streets similar to how Ena was, again, being told that she was “special.” …if Violetta’s memory serves her right, her reaction was…rather violent and crude.
Of course, upon discovering that she really was special, Violetta threw her all into her training and became the perfectionist she is today…people sure do change….
She still retains a lot of her childhood mannerisms, though. (Hence the metal rod)

Name: Monday (Lunne)
Age: ~15-16
Gender: Female
Gem: Topaz, fastened on a clip that ties part of her hair up into a bun.
Gem's Power: She can split herself into little mini versions of herself, the little mini versions are about as capable as she is normally, although Monday can only make ~five splits before her concentration wavers and her splits degenerate into drunken incoherence. She's never actually tested how many times she can split herself, but the amount of splits she can make depends on what all her splits are doing. While split, the normal sized Monday acts rather dazed and out of it because of her concentration being split multiple ways.
Role: Group #2, good~
Personality: She's rather obedient and listens to authority and knows who really can tell her what to do...but gets distracted ea--[[SHINY!!!!!!!!!!!]]--sily. Also can be rather obstinate if she doesn't think you have the authority to order her around. Rather playful, she's a bit like a cat in some respects. She also has a mind like a steel trap (a very good memory), which makes her rather useful for scouting. Also a bit like a monkey in that (particularly in chibi form) Monday is unnecessarily skilled at scaling surfaces. Monday can also be a little mischievous, sometimes abusing her power to freak people out by...well...being Monday. Yeah...
Weapon: A FAN. Yeah, that's right, A FAN! No, of course not. Although she does have a fan, it's not very offensive (except for bopping people on the head when she's irritated) and Monday also knows how to use a light sword.
Eye color: Yellow-green-jade-gold....THEY CHANGE LET'S PUT IT THAT WAY D8
Hair color: Golden-blonde-ish...lightens towards the tips.
Appearance: Monday wears her golden hair short and with a few locks tied back into a bun on the back of her head, where her jewel clips the locks together. She wears a longsleeved turtleneck shirt with very long sleeves...very long. Very long. You get the picture. Usually they're rolled up a bit, though. On top of the turtleneck is a shortsleeved shirt with a sort of zig-zag pattern across it. (Haven't decided if I want her back to be patterned or not.) She wears a pleated skirt and striped stockings, and prefers to be shoeless if possible. Alas, when shoes are required, she wears relatively simple tennis shoe-like shoes.
History: BEFORE WE BEGIN -- YES, HER REAL NAME IS MONDAY. SHE WAS GIVEN THAT NAME AT BIRTH. HER PARENTS NAMED HER MONDAY. Call her Monday. If you call her Mon, or Day, or Mondaysies, or some other crazy and ridiculous nickname, you'll have five or more miniature Mondays sitting on your shoulders and head, being generally annoying and drunken...then again, sitting on your shoulders and head isn't that distracting so she could probably get to ten or eleven before the drunken incoherency comes along.
Anyways. -cough-
Monday, as a child, was able to pretty much chibi-fy herself and go run around causing mischief in her house. It only took so long for her parents to figure out, OH, NORMAL KIDS DON'T DO THAT, NOW, DO THEY?!
So they sent her into training. And she got better at dividing herself and now she's like a scout, sending these little tiny mini Mondays out to do reconnaissance.
Maybe eventually she'll be able to split herself into full-sized Mondays?...but where would the fun in that be?

Name: Blank (YES HIS NAME IS BLANK.) Osmond.
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Gem: Tourmaline, it's the eye of his sock puppet, the other space is covered with an eyepatch.
Gem's Power: Ventriloquism and voice-throwing. It can sometimes seem like he’s speaking into your mind when really he’s just directing his voice right outside your ear or something. Handy for sock puppet-ing
Role: General #2
Personality: He means well. Really, he does. He just...doesn't have good people skills. It's a sad fact that he doesn't really know how to deal with other people. So he can come off as being a little harsh and loud, when he's actually a nice guy...sort of. Gets along surprisingly well with Monday, sharing pain in having parents with odd naming sense?...funny thing, he likes to talk to...a sock puppet....and...well...it’s a long story.
Weapon: THE SOCK PUPPET, NAMED "HENRY THE NINETEENTH"...if only, if only. *sigh*
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Dark brown, practically black…wait…maybe it is black? Um...
Appearance: ...a strange guy. Wait no that’s not his appearance >_> Blank wears...what could be called a manly version of what Monday wears, when you think about it. >__>;;; A longsleeved shirt with a button up shirt over it (almost always unbuttoned) and long cargo pants. Looks younger than he is. Could probably pass for mid or early twenties. SCARY....has hair.
History: Blank’s parents were members of the Special forces, and he himself is one of the more senior members of the forces. He basically grew with the expectation that he, too, would be “special” and join his parents…even if he wasn’t special, he was still going to help out his beloved mother and father. Who knows, he could be like, the pick-up person or a helper or something!! Anything for the family.
And then he was special, a sigh of relief for the thirteen-year old Blank. Of course, the way that he was raised cause his people skills to go down the figurative drain. Sure, his power’s super developed and he’s very efficient, but…well….maybe he’s not suited for being a General? ….maybe…perhaps...of course if you told him that he’d yell at you and say “BLASPHEMY!!” so it’s best not to try.
Took in Violetta when she was fifteen. Maya's older brother. But younger than Alric LOL.

Name: Maya Osmond
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female
Gem: N/A;; higher-up green-purple flourite, split in half and act as collar-buttons.
Gem Power: N/A the transfer of her soul from one object to another.
Role in the group: Higher-up
Personality: Secretive, but intelligent and a fast thinker. Can sometimes be a little whimsical or jump to conclusions, and isn't exactly that level-headed. Also a little obsessed with appearances? She's not that nice, and doesn't really understand other peoples' situations; in other words, she's rather selfish. Doesn't really have much pity for other people, either.
Weapon: Unknown
Eye Color: Unknown...the latest rumor around the SF is that she has slate blue eyes.
Hair Color: Unknown...rumor has it she's a blonde.
Appearance: Few people have ever really seen her, and it can sometimes be debated as to whether or not she even exists. Prefers to use a little stuffed-animal-like object to convey her opinion to the rest of the Organization.
History: Maya has been involved with the SF for as long as she can remember; her father was a member of the SF and her mother was a helper, she was born into the SF like Blank. However, it seemed like her power never really manifested to its full potential (the records with regards to that are rather fuzzy, it's questionable as to whether or not she has a power), and she retreated into the shadows, choosing to make her appearances through a little stuffed animal-like thing instead, climbing the ladder up into the group of higher-ups. Her parents are...elsewhere. Maybe they're with Moegi's parents? She's known Laus for a pretty long time.

-----

Name: Laus
Age: Somewhere in his thirties
Gender: Male
Gem: N/A.
Gem Power: Not applicable.
Role in the group: Higher-up
Personality: Relatively easy-going, he likes to think things through and is practically the opposite of Maya. Some people think that he's really slow or something, but in reality he's just thinking more than ALL OF YOU PUT TOGETHER....oh, did his arrogance kick in there? He doesn't really like arguing that much, either. Of course his method of "not arguing" is more like "refusing to budge from his method of thinking" in most cases. He's not a bad person, per se, but he can let his passiveness get the best of him and doesn't really try to advocate other peoples' rights and whatnot.
Weapon: Oh, he would never get involved in combat, he'd much rather stay in the background.
Eye Color: Purple
Hair Color: Brown
Appearance: Wears sort of Chinese style-clothing -- BUT HE'S NOT CHINESE AT ALL. He just thinks that they look cool, is all. Wait, did the Chinese even exist?---oh whatever.
History: Laus was raised in a relatively normal manner, although he had a sort of almost idol-worshipper relationship with the Special Forces when he was a child, he grew out of that by the time he entered middle school. Occasionally was the playmate of Maya Osmond, the oddball girl who always carried a doll around with her. They saw each other quite a bit in elementary school, but then Maya went deeper into the SF and Laus went deeper into his studies and whatnot. His idolism of the SF may have been due to Maya's influence, seeing as after she disappeared out of his life, his obsession faded and he became, well, normal. Later he somehow got involved in the SF as a higher-up around the same time as Maya. After Maya suddenly "disappeared" and Osmond appeared in her place, Laus was nominated by Maya (through Osmond) to be Osmond's babysitter and basically bring Osmond with him everywhere. He's done a pretty good job of it, although lately Osmond's taken to walking around all by himself.

-just for fun-

Name: Osmond (Osmond)
Age: N/A [Probably as old as Maya]
Gender: N/A [Assumed to be male]
Gem: N/A, but it's rumored that the buttons on him are made of jade and coral...does that count?!
Gem Power: N/A
Role in the group: Higher-up(?)
Personality: N/A...whatever Maya wants him to be.
Weapon: N/A
Eye Color: Wears goggles
Hair Color: Wears a hat
Appearance: A stuffed animal. Looks a bit like a midget. Smaller than Cian. Wears a hat with two points, and looks rather patched and stitched up. Something like this.
History: A stuffed animal that Maya owns. See Maya.

--------

Name: An'na (Osmond)
Age: N/A [Around ten years, unknown]
Gender: N/A [Assumed to be female]
Gem: N/A
Gem Power: N/A
Role in the group: Higher-up(?)
Personality: Rather crybaby-ish. Easily agitated, and has a bit of an inferiority complex? Is a backup for Osmond. Acts like a little kid. Adores Maya. An'na's favorite words seem to be "I'm sorry," and crying. Does not take well to being called anything besides "An'na."
Weapon: N/A
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Wears a hat, pale brown
Appearance: A more humanoid-looking one of Maya's stuffed animals. Looks more like the doll of a little girl, about 2'7. Something like this; looks a little like Lady Anlu from Fushigi Yuugi. Gets cold easily.
History: Another stuffed animal that Maya owns. Maya is clearly not as fond of An'na as she is of Osmond, and generally only sends An'na out when Osmond needs to be repaired or something.

----

Name: Alric Osmond
Age: Maya's age + ~5
Gender: Male
Gem: Unknown
Gem Power: Unknown
Role in the group: N/A
Personality: He's a pretty forgiving guy......Has a soft spot for little kids. Not very worldly, but a good big brother!
Weapon: Unknown
Eye Color: Unknown
Hair Color: Unknown
Appearance: Like Maya, few people have really seen him, either...Osmond family tradition? Probably looks at least a little bit like Maya? Although since nobody remembers their parents, it's kind of hard to say.....
History: He "disappeared" a little after Maya, before then he was just...there. Around the SF. Maybe he was a helper, or maybe he actually was a member. Either way, he's been a part of the SF, or rather, the SF has been a part of him, since he was an infant. Just like Maya, he's disappeared and few people have actually seen him, but on the other hand, he doesn't appear as a doll so it must be different from Maya's circumstances....?

---whee---

Name: Carah Meils
Age: Nineteen
Gender: Female
Gem: Obsidian, [location]
Gem's Power: Magnetism; she's like a human magnet! This gives her a really good sense of direction, and if your weapon has any metal in it, she can try to steal it from quite a distance away. She can turn it on and off, seeing as if she tried to go near electronic devices while being "magnetized," she could probably almost fry it if she was close to it for long enough....
Role: A Member of the Destroyers
Personality: Likes to think that she’s “mature,” and sees Agnes as an annoying little runt and Moor as some crazy man-crushing Lieutenant who needs to have sense smacked into him. Although she's loyal and follows orders because she respects Ephraim, she can sometimes be a little inefficient and lose sight of what exactly the orders were in the first place. Although she can be a little annoyed by the other members of the Destroyers, she does respect them and considers them as her friends, maybe even her family?
Weapon: Claw-like gloves, along with a few smokescreen bomb-like objects.
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Dark
Appearance: She tries to look mature and can sometimes come off as looking a little ominous and creepy. Generally wears dark clothing, and is average height, maybe a little on the tall side.
History: Although her gem power manifested at a young age, Carah was never really inducted into the SF. Her parents plus Carah herself made for a happy family of three, but her parents had some sort of ongoing feud with Maya and her family, and the Osmond family used their power to keep Carah out of the SF until they could no longer ignore her and had to recruit her; SHE WAS SPECIAL AFTER ALL. Meanies. Later, Carah was recruited by the Destroyers, at first seeing it as a chance to get revenge on the SF, although she has grown to respect all of her fellow members. She hasn't seen her parents much lately, but that's mainly because she has to keep up her security. It's all for the sake of her revenge.

Name: Miles Eswitt
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Gem: N/A
Gem's Power: N/A
Role: SF Psychologist
Personality: Clinically professional. Calm. Can be a little intimidating because of his calm professional-ness. Isn't the type to waste time talking. His memory is also pretty good, he probably remembers at least the faces of every patient he's ever had. Miles can also be a little insulting, seeing as he's been working as a psychologist since he was, like, 20. It's kind of hard to be very sympathetic when you're working with the 523rd* angsty teenager in twenty years. (*Number not accurate)
Weapon: A clipboard and pen.
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Black
Appearance: A tall man who wears glasses. Generally wears a white lab coat over black slacks and a dark shirt. Black shoes. Short black hair, just barely long enough to be tied back into a ponytail. Sometimes wears sunglasses.
History: The man who administers the "SF psych test" to new recruits. He lives on the SF property like Helen, but seems to have a sleep deprivation disorder and cannot sleep for more than seven hours at a time. He has a wife and kids. Miles has been working for the SF for over twenty years now. Remembers just about everyone.

-------

Name: "Number" Caitlin Osmond
Age: ....old.
Gender: Rumor has it that it was once a female...
Gem: Sugilite, although it's hardly seen, the assumption is that it is embedded into its skin....
Gem's Power: It's...debatable as to whether or not the gem still has a "power." It seems to give Number quite an excess of strength and endurance, and perhaps as a result of the injection, Number can grow the gem in crystalline form from its own skin.
Role: Failed experiment. Older sister to Alric, Blank, and Maya.
Personality: Has no self awareness, nor sense of humanity. No common sense, either. Orders must be clear and distinct for anything to register. Cannot think for itself. Automatically interprets all orders as something violent. I.E., "Go lock the doors." "Mission confirmed, bombing the eastern part of the city."
...of course, this comes to a standstill once Number realizes that there are no bombs and has a momentary "system crash."
Usually is slow and dragging as if sedated. Rarely ever moves around because it is so unstable.
Weapon: Itself.
Eye Color: Unseen, although those who have gotten glimpses of what is beneath that hood have spoken of chilling, golden eyes.
Hair Color: Unseen, although occasionally a wisp of grey hair can be seen.
Appearance: Wears a dark grey cloak all the time. Hood, so its face cannot be seen. Few have seen what lies beneath the cloak, however it appears to be rather large so perhaps the cloak is hiding some sort of mutation? No part of the skin can ever be seen. Whenever the hood goes down, the appearance is a young woman with horrible purple scars and marks running all over her body, even crystallizing on the surface of her skin at some points. (Of course, it is debatable as to whether or not its female appearance is a result of the experiment.)
History: The failed result of an experiment where its gem was injected into its system in order to create a better weapon. Instead, they assumed that it died and put it into suspension for many years. At one point, they wanted to extract some of its DNA for testing, and inadvertently gave it the order, "Wake up," which was interpreted as "Kill all humans." And it nearly succeeded, too, were it not for the attempts and consecutive successes to shoot it down. After that, Number was returned to "suspension" and hardly ever is seen.

Name: Tuesday Lunne
Age: 35 (a young mother!!)
Gender: Female (see: mother)
Gem: Garnet, split in half due to a past incident, buttons.
Gem Power: Ability to stop aging
Role: Never joined the SF.
Personality: Pretty sweet, she’s not easily angered and has a rather long patience, although that might have come with being a mother. She certainly shares Monday’s playful nature, and has a bit of a laid back take on life; if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t. Simple as that. However, she definitely knows when she needs to be serious and can be rather intimidating if necessary.
Weapon: A wrench.
Eye Color: Green, and sparkly!!
Hair Color: Blonde
Appearance: A young-looking woman with soft blonde hair, usually smiling and happy. She wears a sort of denim dress, along with a turtleneck, cargo pants, and black gloves. The dress has “TUES DAY” written on it, and has LOTS OF POCKETS. LOTS. Her pants are also littered with pockets, pocket fetish?? Seems to be able to pull anything out of those pockets.
History: Comes from a long line of females with days for their names. (Her mother’s name was Wednesday, by the way.) Monday’s mother. Lives at home now, and loves it when her daughter comes to visit her. A bit of a doting mother. Has been a gem user since a young age, but because her power wasn’t very noticeable, the SF never found her and she self-taught herself how to control it. Her gem doesn’t apply only to herself, she can use it on others (to a point) as well, or to other objects. Sort of like Violetta’s opposite, where Violetta makes things age, she can stop them from aging. Was involved in an incident with Moegi, causing the woman to stop aging (it was an accident!!) at age sixteen. It seems like the flowers she grows are even sweeter and longer-lasting than the flowers grown by others...
Is a florist, tehe~

Her husband (Monday’s father) was a mechanic and so she learned quite a bit from him, although some circumstances led to Monday’s father leaving when Monday was young. (Circumstances involved Monday’s uncanny and unnatural (yet completely natural at the same time) ability to duplicate herself, causing a rift between the carefree, optimistic Tuesday and the more by-the-book, “THINGS SHOULD BE NORMAL RAWR” Monday’s father (who is not important enough to get a name due to this.). Tuesday felt that Monday’s ability was quite wonderful, amazing, and “so cool!!” Monday’s father responded by muttering, and eventually he couldn’t take it and left. Tuesday was not fazed by this, nor was Monday and so the two girls lived relatively unchanged by this. Occasionally, though, Tuesday wonders if it was really such a good idea to have her dearest Monday join the SF, seeing as she herself never had, and the SF was basically what had driven a rift into her family. Nevertheless, she decided that going into the SF would be best for her daughter, who was beginning to get a little out of control.
She is old friends with Moegi, despite being fourteen years older. A few years ago, in an incident, Tuesday managed to stop Moegi’s time as a sixteen year old, and although Moegi doesn’t seem any worse for wear, Tuesday still feels rather guilty about it, and has also stopped her own aging as a penance? Something like that.
Also, her garnet gemstone used to be whole but due to some incident in the past, it was split into two halves and now serves as two buttons on her overall dress. Maybe it has something to do with rejecting the SF?
Younger Tuesday would have broken the gem as a way of saying “HELL NO I AIN’T JOININ’”....but ironically the gem retained all of it’s power and Tuesday herself grew more skilled at using it anyways....
She’s been around quite a bit...it’s possible that she was also once an acquaintance of Violetta?

----
Name: ....good question........... [Patrick Lunne]
Age: 37
Gender: Male
Gem: He doesn't have one.
Gem Power: SEE ABOVE.
Role: Monday's vagrant father, imaginary homeless drunkard, source of angst.
Personality: A sort of down-to-earth person. He's a big fan of things that are practical and scientifically explainable. In other words: KIDS THAT CAN SPLIT INTO MULTIPLE LITTLE VERSIONS = NOT NORMAL = NOT GOOD = NO. He's very impatient and can sometimes be really hasty. However, he's good at making decisions and was a very good father. Until he left, of course.
Weapon: He doesn't really need a weapon......
Eye Color: Dark blue
Hair Color: Dark blonde
Appearance: Unknown. Monday theorizes that it would be very interesting if he was now a total stereotypical drunkard, and dreams of meeting her father, the drunkard. When he was still known by most people, he generally liked his hair not-short, but always had it tied back for work's sake. Would usually wear whatever was handy, but wore a nice shirt and pants outside of family.
History: Monday's father. Left due to certain circumstances. Never seen again. Monday misses him dearly even though she doesn't even remember what he looks like. In her mind, he's a stereotypical drunkard with dark hair, dark eyes, and other drunken attributes.

Alric and Maya [extended history]; When Maya was only around two or three, old enough to walk and talk but not to know any better, Alric, due to circumstances, wound up taking Maya to a toy store to buy something. Being only around seven or eight, Alric didn't really resist when his parents shoved the duty of bringing the toddler Maya to a store, and he had quite the hard time when the stuffed animal, Osmond, that Maya desperately wanted happened to be almost out of his price range. However, when Alric wasn't looking, Maya grabbed the unique, not-quite-so-patched up doll and suddenly began gnawing on its ear. When Alric turned around and saw his sister doing such a thing, he had no choice but to buy it. Maya later confessed that she didn't do it on purpose, but "...I really wanted the doll....after I was told I couldn't have it, a red haze descended...." Later, Maya named the doll "Osmond" for some strange reason, and has kept it with her at all times ever since.
When Maya was around ten, her power manifested and made her "special," she underwent rather intense training for a few years to hone her power, an odd and powerful power of being able to transfer souls from one vessel to another. The limits of this power are unknown because after she finished her training, by accident, she transferred her brother's soul to a doll. ...oops.
She kept on forgetting to bring him back, and eventually managed to transfer her own soul into Osmond. ...double oops. Hope was not completely lost, and they tried to get the Maya-Osmond to bring herself back so that she could bring Alric back as well. However, in the process, Maya's gem shattered into multiple pieces and Maya and Alric have been stuck as dolls ever since. Maya has gotten used to acting as "Osmond" and actually quite enjoys the infamy she gets for it, seeing as nobody knows what actually happened to Maya and Osmond. However, Alric has had a much harder time adjusting...and...well.....

nowai am I actually seriously thinking about this now?! O:
lol think it out a bit more though tehe

the portals through darkness .

Introduction
There are many worlds. There are many suns, and for every sunshine ray cast on a world, there will be a shadow. Somewhere. Like magnets, these shadows are attracted to each other and form their own worlds. The Darkness.

The Darkness threatens to take over our world. It creeps through the streets with sinister intentions. People are disappearing. Houses are burning. The Darkness has taken over another world.

Welcome to Tarot.
The Darkness has yet to reach this peaceful city. To the people of this city, it is the world. There might be an outside world, but if they don't believe in it, surely it doesn't exist? Everything is at peace, and the people in the city are oblivious to the threats around them. And the existence of other worlds.

Some other worlds are not so lucky.

The Portals.
Some people have managed to escape from their worlds before the Darkness could take them, and have found themselves before an odd mechanism called "the portal." Stepping through the portal, they find themselves in Tarot, and are sometimes welcomed, sometimes shunned. After all, the people of Tarot mostly don't believe in "strangers."

The Portals themselves are a mystery shrouded in darkness.

ROLES.
-- Citizen of Tarot. [unlimited]
+++ You live in Tarot. Just an ordinary citizen. You could be anything from a painter to a blacksmith. Anachronisms are the rulers of this city. It's a hodgepodge of everything possibly imaginable. And the oddest thing is, almost everyone knows everyone. It's both a chilling and a warm, fuzzy feeling, to walk down the streets and have people call your name.

-- World Traveler [probably unlimited but there should be more citizens than world travelers.]
+++ You came through the Portal. Welcome to Tarot, enjoy your stay. Clearly, you're a stranger in a new land. There is no Darkness here, and nobody you know, either. Will you live happily, or try to find your way back home? That is, if you still have a home to return to...

*currently probably closed*
-- The Darkness [unlimited]
+++ You are a denizen of darkness. Epitome of Evil. Other grim alliterations. You are the darkness. Or at least, a part of it. Your job could be to guard the Stronghold, or maybe it is to scout out new worlds to take over. Either way, you're at home in the shadows, and you thrive on fear. You might even know some of the [ World Traveler ]s from previous worlds you've destroyed. Lower "level" Darkness are sort of like...sentient black blobs. Higher "level" Darkness might be human-shaped black blobs, or maybe even take *gasp* human form!! Highest "level" Darkness can be any form they please. ;D
*currently probably closed*

-- Oracles [unlimited, but there should still be more citizens lol]
+++ You've been studying the Darkness enough to know quite a bit about it. You know about the existence of other worlds, although some people in Tarot might shun you for imagining such odd things. You also probably know about the existence of the Portals.

*currently probably closed*
-- Other World Citizen [unlimited]
+++ You live in some other world besides Tarot. Maybe the Darkness is beginning to take over your world, or maybe it's just as peaceful as Tarot. I'm not sure if anyone would really choose this one seeing as they'd probably be out of the action. Create your own world! Citizens of your own world! There are many worlds!! Go wild!!
*currently probably closed*

Calith's Handy Guide to the Darkness
Please note that this is not required reading in any way, shape, or form.
Calith is also not responsible for any misinterpretations you may get from reading this guide.
Nor is she responsible if you wander outside at night.

You find this small book in the library. It seems pretty worn out, although that might have just been Calith's choice in binding. You open up the cover and begin reading out of morbid curiosity.

Let's talk about Darkness. First of all, to understand the Darkness, you must understand that there are many worlds. Excuse me for a moment while I am shot for being a heretic.

So, there are many worlds, right? Some worlds have been infected by the Darkness, a malevolent force that seeks to turn all the worlds into barren wastelands taken over by the Darkness. (See Figure 1.1) Of course, there's a King of Darkness. There's always a King! Anyways, this King is...is...evil. Pretty evil. Calling himself "the King of Darkness" only ups his evil quotient by...maybe around .00001%? He could be called "the King of All Things Light and Fluffy" and still be just as evil as he is now. And he's got a horde of little Darkness minions to carry out his evil intentions. (See Figure 1.2)

I think that this excusing myself to be shot as a heretic is going to get pretty routine, so let's just skip over those instances for now.

And let me get this out of the way before you start getting super paranoid---THAT'S MY JOB, OKAY, BUSTER?---Anyways, this Darkness isn't the "monster under your bed/hiding in the closet" run of the mill darkness. (See Figure 1.3) This is the Darkness! So don't start getting all jumpy around dark corners, that's just darkness. It's not the Darkness. ...NOT THAT I'M TELLING YOU TO GO OUT AT NIGHT OR GO INTO DARK CORNERS, OKAY?!

Alright, moving away from the Darkness for now, let's talk about Portals! I'm not an expert on Portals like I am on Darkness, but I do know quite a bit about them from my research on the Darkness. From what I can gather, a Portal looks like some sort of black, squiggly ferris-wheel almost-thing. (See Figure 2.1) They can move people between worlds (many worlds out there!!) and, sadly, can also transfer Darkness with them. The Darkness doesn't need a Portal to move between worlds, but they can of course improvise with a Portal. (See Figure 2.2)

I'd like to see one someday. There aren't many records of them, sadly, just this moth-eaten copy from like, a bajillion years ago. (See Figure 2.3)

TBC.
The guide suddenly cuts off there; perhaps Calith got bored?

Oracles and Citizens should start in Tarot. Life is normal. Flowers are blooming, so surely it must be spring!! World Travelers are just arriving in Tarot, and once you get discovered by the Citizens, you, a stranger in their closed box....

What will happen?

The first part is mainly just everyone sort of getting a feel for the world; although the Citizens are essentially canon to one another, the World Travelers certainly aren't and so how will they be treated? Basically....it's an introduction arc XD Even though the Citizens of Tarot mostly know each other...

Hogeez I know this is weird....
...yeah....
Anyways *COUGH* For now, the Darkness profiles and Other World Citizen profiles are closed, BECAUSE I'M EVIL. Well, it depends on interest I guess.......I'm not sure if there's much space right now for evilness profiles because well....the Darkness is sort of mindless evil ;;; World Citizens are currently closed because, well, they aren't likely to get much action unless you're creating a whole other world...and I'd sort of like us to focus more on Tarot, for now at least.

Maybe open up portals after introductions? Then there'd be conflict over the portals? ....traveling across timespace, anyone? o-o;;
...lol let's not make this into a quest XD;;
...I guess it also sort of depends on how far everyone wants to go with World Travelers versus Citizens. ....sort of touch and go from there? ._________. I guess ultimately it's up to the RPers; I'm not going to move the story in a direction they don't want ;;;;

Note: Although Tarot is basically a huge hodgepodge of...EVERYTHING, I'd rather focus more on the people rather than the setting; in other words, people don't really "live" in a certain era, because this IS THE ERA OHOHOHO. Seeing a neon lit bar right next to an old fashioned pub from the stereotypical Middle Ages is considered totally normal, and that's just one example. Of course, some people do tend to prefer to stick to one part of the town over the other, but that's just natural when you're dealing with humans.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is, "don't focus too much on the culture of some specific ethnicity with your characters;" for the people of Tarot, this jumble of anachronisms is their culture. Does that make sense?

Name: Calith
Age: Late teens, early twenties
Gender: Female
Appearance: Light orange peach-ish hair usually in a loose ponytail. Also wears a hat. She dresses in what she considers "oracle-y clothing" although this makes her look a little eccentric sometimes. She has indigo-ish eyes and isn't exactly all that tall, either.
Role: Oracle
Occupation: Oracle!
Personality: Can be a bit of a know-it-all, is quite imaginative. Still a little immature and childish, Calith isn't one of the most knowledgeable of Oracles but considers herself the expert on the Darkness. This title is self-proclaimed, by the way. She isn't very intellectual by nature, and can oftentimes manage to sound either over-zealous and crazy or just plain stupid when she's trying to convey information.
History: She's lived in Tarot all her life, and is quite the dreamer. Calith has always hoped that there's something out there, and devoted her life to studying "something out there" once she discovered that there were others like herself. Relatively normal life growing up, about as normal as she could get, studying what she did! Although she can sometimes be a little arrogant, people do respect what she says...they just often don't entirely believe it. She published "Calith's Handy Guide to the Darkness" to inform people of the Darkness.
Other: It might have come with studying the Darkness, but Calith can be extremely superstitious and irrational at times. It's best to not cross her after she's been studying, unless you want to have countless items to combat superstition shoved into your face.

----

Name: Terren
Age: Early teens
Gender: Male
Appearance: Sort of...scruffy. He's far too lazy to cut his light brown hair, causing most *excuse the stereotype* mothers to cringe and flex their fingers whenever they look at him. He has green eyes and generally wears whatever he finds handy. On rare occasions when his mother manages to catch him, he gets scrubbed up, trimmed, and dressed up in a nice shirt and pair of pants. However, cutting his hair is futile because it grows extremely fast.
Role: Citizen
Occupation: Self-appointed street urchin
Personality: He can be a little lazy, oftentimes a victim of the logic "_____'ll do ____ eventually so there's no point in doing _____." A key example of this is with his hair; it'll grow back out soon anyways so there's no point in cutting it. He prefers to let life do it's best and/or worst, although when something perks his interest, he'll go all-out.
History: Growing up in Tarot is not an easy thing to do; with all of the discrepancies and anachronisms around you, sometimes it can be a little hard to know what to go with. Terren has fared pretty well so far, and is just about as warped as the next person. The "outside world" has never really interested him, and he'd much rather spend his days running around Tarot and evading his mother's scissors. He thinks of Calith as some weird, crazy old lady. His mother tried to give him an education, but it's dubious as to how well it stuck.
Other: Common sense is not his best friend.

a bit more serious thinking this time!!! O:
I kept the previous one in memoriam XD;;

ROLES.
-- Citizen of Tarot. [unlimited]
+++ You live in Tarot. Just an ordinary, human citizen. You could be anything from a painter to a blacksmith to anything that fits the era. Tarot is stuck in a time "loop," where the steam engine has just been invented, so think "steampunk." It's been that way for the longest time; there's been no new technology for what seems like forever. And the oddest thing is, almost everyone knows everyone. It's both a chilling and a warm, fuzzy feeling, to walk down the streets and have people call your name. The general opinion in Tarot is that supernatural things are bedtime stories and generally thought to be childish. Once you become an "adult," the only purpose you should have for supernatural things is to tell your kids stories that they'll discover are false later anyways. Occasionally a few children, as they mature into adults, keep their positive outlooks on the supernatural, but usually society discourages this.

-- World Traveler [probably unlimited but there should be more citizens than world travelers.]
+++ Basically, you used to live in another world. One day, you stumbled across this odd thing, the Portal, fell into it/otherwise entered it, and suddenly you're in this weird place you don't recognize. You don't know what happened, maybe not even how you wound up here, or what is happening on your old world. All you know is that you are trapped here unless you somehow find another portal. You are a stranger in a new world; so how will you fare? Welcome to Tarot, enjoy your stay.

-- Oracles [unlimited, but there should still be more citizens lol]
+++ You live in Tarot, and have been studying just about anything supernatural (the Darkness, Portals, etc.) enough to know quite a bit about it. You know about the existence of other worlds, although some people in Tarot might shun you for imagining such odd things.

(See Figure 1.2) One telltale example of the King of Darkness targeting your world would be when people begin to disappear. (See Figure 1.3) And by disappear, I mean, seriously disappear. Not just the run-of-the mill disappearance, like the kind that Terren pulls, like, every week. I mean serious disappearances.

I think that this excusing myself to be shot as a heretic is going to get pretty routine, so let's just skip over those instances for now.

+ More about Tarot +

The nature of Tarot is based more on "science" than "magic," meaning that "magic" doesn't really exist in Tarot. The only real "magic" in this plane of existence are the Portals. Even the Darkness cannot really be called "magic." Therefore, most citizens of Tarot do not have any latent magical abilities beyond things that they cannot control, such as unnatural luck or a skill for some profession.

The main method of transportation is either walking, old-style "vintage" automobiles, or by steam engine for long distances. Most women still wear dresses or skirts, although seeing a working woman is not uncommon.

The city itself has no real boundaries; it seems to go on for what is possibly "forever." Rather, nobody's ever seriously tried to leave the city, seeing as it is discouraged by the authorities. The "authorities" are a council made from ordinary citizens; Tarot itself runs similar to a democracy. If a regular citizen that is not a member of the main council has a complaint, they can always reach one of the council members. Usually, though, the city runs without trouble and the council seems to be almost detached from the rest of Tarot.

Education for all children is required, however it is highly advised. The school is set up as a one-room schoolhouse like deal. You are required to provide your own transportation, although this isn't much trouble because most kids can walk to get to the school.

However, when their day to day lives are disrupted, none of this will matter......

---

Basically everyone should start in Tarot; although the World Travelers are just arriving. The first part (arc?) is generally meant to be more of an introduction arc, in which you can sort of get the feel for the world, along with trying to adjust to an unexpected bunch of strangers.

........until something even more unexpected happens.

BY THE WAY, EVERYONE SOMEHOW SPEAKS THE SAME LANGUAGE. There's no official "language" in Tarot, everybody somehow understands each other. This applies to the World Travelers, even if you come from a, say, Ancient China-based civilization and speak Ancient China-based Chinese, you'll be able to understand and speak to people in Tarot.

+Locations to Know+
=City Hall
Where the council meetings are held. A rather imposing white brick building. It doesn't get much use, seeing as there are only council meetings once a week-ish. What else would you do with a City Hall? Register new citizens? Har dee har. Welcome to Tarot.

=Alice's Bar
A friendly little joint where you can find a nice drink. Run by Alice and a few other employees. Open essentially twenty four hours. Hazily lit with candles and lamps. Well, that's the technology. [think up name please.]

=The Library
Well, it's a library. Close to City Hall, another pretty tall and imposing building. Reddish-brown bricks. Calith's Handy Guide to the Darkness can be found here, among other, more credible and enjoyable reading.

=The School
The one school in Tarot that all children are required to attend until they are 15. At that point they are released into "society." There aren't really that many children in Tarot so it basically is a ratio of around twenty-eight students for every one teacher. There are no "universities" or "colleges;" everything is learned through either this school or an apprenticeship or something.

=More to be added, ideas are welcome~

Name: Calith Williams

Appearance: Light orange peach-ish hair usually in a loose ponytail. Also wears a hat. She dresses in what she considers "oracle-y clothing" although this makes her look a little eccentric sometimes. She has indigo-ish eyes and isn't exactly all that tall, either.
Role: Oracle
Occupation: ....Oracle!
Skills: She can practically block out the world whenever she's studying, and can take a lot of insults and teasing for her research.
Personality: Can be a bit of a know-it-all, is quite imaginative. Still a little immature and childish, Calith isn't one of the most knowledgeable of Oracles but considers herself the expert on the Darkness. This title is self-proclaimed, by the way. Name: Luck "Luc" Williams
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dark brown hair and purple eyes. Hair is usually pulled back, and she wears a hat. Generally dresses in corduroy overalls and black dress shirts.
Role: Citizen
Occupation: Steam engine mechanic
Skills: Endurance. Physical fitness and a hard head.
Personality: Easygoing. The kind of girl who will take what she gets and run with it, so she's got a bit of a stubborn and determined streak. Luc doesn't really care what you've done to get to where you are now, or what you're going to do after now, so she's a little simpleminded in that respect.
History: Calith's half sister. They look pretty similar, so she dyed her hair so that they wouldn't look so similar, despite being a few years younger than Calith. She, Calith, and Alice basically grew up with each other so they're really close. However, Luc never really believed in what Calith and Alice believed in; she just went along with it because it was interesting. Luc graduated recently, and has been learning from her father. (She and Calith share a mother.) She's had quite a bit of misfortune with her name; they thought she was a boy and so named her "Luke," then it was misprinted onto her birth certificate and was written as "Luck." Later, she accidentally forgot to write the "k" when writing her name, and since then has been called "Luc."

kinda sorta NPCs.

Role: Citizen
Occupation: Self-appointed street urchin
Skills: Staying out of sight and hiding.
He also does not have any abundance of common sense.
History: Growing up in Tarot is not an easy thing to do; with all of the conflicting beliefs about "fairytales" and whatnot, sometimes it can be a little hard to know what to go with.

Name: Tallitha Lavers
Age: Motherly
Gender: See: Mother
Appearance: A woman who carries herself as if she's younger, despite the fact that her brown hair is beginning to gray slightly. She has warm blue eyes and generally wears clothing that is closer to the fancier spectrum of simple. Terren's mother, she's a very neat and orderly lady.
Role: Citizen
Occupation: Mother.
Skills: Lots of patience and a "mother radar" that helps her find Terren whenever he runs away.
Personality: A motherly woman. Sometimes she can have slightly OCD tendencies and can sometimes be over obsessed with order. Loves her son dearly, despite the many quarrels the two of them have.
History: A single mother! ....nobody's really sure what happened to Terren's father, but Tallitha has entirely taken it upon herself to raise her son. And she's done a pretty good job of it, seeing as he's still alive!! She doesn't believe in fairy tales and so this rubbed off onto Terren quite liberally.

Name: Alice Enham
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Appearance: The kind of woman who will walk outside in her pajamas out of simple indifference for what other people think of her. However, dress code requires that she wear mainly dark clothing, usually just a black dress and a dark brown vest. Her dark blonde hair is usually tied up into a messy ponytail because she can't be bothered to brush it, and her slate blue eyes generally look tired. Usually she is. Pretty pale; she doesn't see much sunlight anymore.
Role: Citizen
Occupation: Bartender
Skills: Running on very little sleep, and listening to people.
Personality: Alice is generally a laid-back, easy-going, and sympathetic woman...although it comes with the job, she's a good listener and is pretty tolerant. She's not the type to judge, although she can sometimes think the worst of people. She is often sleep deprived and can sometimes be a little out of it...but is generally good at her job. She seems to like it.
History: As a child, Alice faithfully believed in fairytales and whatnot, and as a result she was positively devastated when her parents broke the news to her; such things didn't, and never would, exist. She soon adapted to this new reality, although she can't help but almost admire Calith for her nerve to defy society. She's known Calith since a young age, they were somewhat playmates as children. She hardly leaves her bar these days seeing as they have more customers than employees necessary to support that many customers.
NOTES.
Terren's father unit, probably named T-something or other, disappeared back when Calith first started studying. That was when the link to the Darkness was first opened from Tarot. Noooobody knows this :3 Hopefully they will start investigating the disappearances or something?
First plot hook;; people start disappearing. First to disappear is, of course, Terren. At first, everyone thinks that it's just a big joke; he disappears all the time and usually comes back. Tallitha becomes desperate, though, seeing as she can't find him. [how much time should pass? depends on the speed of the RP, I guess...? Rather, how much people can interact.] Calith gets a few ominous-ish lines biggrin About people disappearing and whatnot.
Tallitha starts really frequenting Alice's bar, Alice also raises the same suspicious Calith did.
Then Tallitha disappears biggrin
Things will start getting serious from there....
Calith'll try to explain everything, people will become worried about their safety from the Darkness.
It's all their fault.....
At that point either Alice...or Calith [or other NPC I make up on the spot lol] will disappear.
Tarot is surrounded in Darkness. That is why when people try to leave, they never return. They are swallowed by the Darkness.

Name: Evette "Et" Emmeth
Role/Race: to-be-God-Trainee // Human
Gender: Female
Age: Sixteen
Skills: A sort of unnoticeable presence, until she makes herself known she could be right behind you. Has a tendency to sort of fade into the background or get left behind....wait that's not really a skill is it?!
Personality: Deemed a "hanger-on" by society, Evette, or "Et," as she's often called (as in "et cetera" ) , is basically just that; a hanger on. Fold her up and put her on a coat hanger to dry?
...no, not that kind of hanger...not that that kind even exists...
Evette was born to two relatively normal...ok, relatively odd parents. They basically wanted to raise her to be super ultra independent...although it kinda backfired and instead she's really dependent. The kind of girl who generally asks for confirmation before doing anything, and would probably work herself into a fit if placed in a situation of leadership. She’s pretty friendly, but sometimes either says too much or doesn’t say anything at all, which only serves to alienate her from those around her.
Appearance: She's...not really....that pretty...maybe if she actually put some effort into her appearance and didn't just wear plain clothing all the time...she might be...a little prettier...Longish hair, far too lazy to cut it.
Plain clothes. Plain. PLAIN. The queen (princess?!) of hand-me-downs, and as a result any "cool" clothes are now either ultra worn or not in style anymore. But since she'd rather not spend money and stuff on clothes, she just takes what she gets and has gotten quite skilled at sewing and hemming her clothing as a result.
History: Ah, sweet sixteen, the golden age, right? You hit this age, and everything's just hunky dory, to use a phrase….not so much. Et has been a hanger-on for as long as she can remember, and although she’s relatively easy to get along with (with a few occasional bumps), she doesn’t really have a sense of belonging, which only serves to alienate her even more from other people, and although they often tolerate her, it’s a general unspoken agreement that life would probably be a lot easier without her around.

Name: Shianna
Role/Race: to-be-God Trainee // Human
Gender: Female
Age: Between fourteen and fifteen.
Skills: She likes flowers and things that grooooow....that includes animals tehe.
Personality: ...not really all there. WEAK LINK WEAK LINK WEAK LI--. Then again, since she’s not really all there, she’s also not really all bothered by people saying that she’s not really all there. A relatively kind soul, but she prefers the company of plants, animals (not humans), and her imaginary friend that she calls “Myste,” over human companions. WEAK LINK WEAK LINK WEAK LI--. ...she’s smart, but doesn’t have that much common sense in reality. Like, she knows that you shouldn’t water plants with salt and stuff like that, but she’s pretty naive and if you were to tell her that walking out in front of a moving car would be a smart idea, she’d be all for it and wouldn’t really get the implications.
Appearance: On the left, with short, wavy brown hair and eyes. She likes wearing headbands and light yellow dresses, and rarely looks fully alert.
History: Most little children have “imaginary friends” when they’re younger. It’s considered “okay,” seeing as they’re little and are being imaginative. Which is a good thing. But apparently eventually it’s not good to be imaginative? Shianna’s one of those kids who never really lost their “imaginary friends.” Just when everyone had managed to practically convince her that her “imaginary friends” didn’t exist a few years ago, suddenly Myste was in her life and she had a real, new imaginary friend. Goodbye, Shianna’s place in reality. So long, it wasn’t all that nice knowing you but oh well.

Name: Bianca
Role/Race: Furniture
Gender: ....a swing, if that could even be called furniture...
Age: ...furniture.
Skills: Most noticeable ability would probably be her skill in warding; she can put up various different types of wards that enhance or hamper the actions of others. (Think of an Elementalist Warder in Guild Wars)
Personality: Relatively simple-minded and goes with the flow; if something works, it works, and if it doesn’t work, ...WELL WHY WOULDN’T IT WORK!? Bianca also has a little bit of pride and confidence in her abilities; she has a sense of responsibility and if she’s had a hand in it, it should be perfect. Otherwise, meh. Good at following orders, doing the same thing over and over, and letting things go.
Appearance: Whitish-pink hair in a short sort of bob, childish looks. Relatively pale, wears a white turtleneck and a black ruffly dress...either barefoot or wears dainty white sandals. Bluish-gray eyes.
History: One of Fi’s furniture.

-------

Name: Myste
Role/Race: Furniture
Gender: Furniture. Needst you ask?
Age: ...furniture.
Skills: ...not really all that useful, but she can sort of...dissolve things into...sort of mist...stuff...it’s rather complicated...Sort of like decomposing nonsentient matter into mist?...seeing as furniture is non sentient, too....
Personality: Impulsive. Whimsical. Does what it wants, and usually does it with an air of confidence. However, it will definitely and absolutely listen to what Fi(HoH) tells her. After all, Fi(HoH) made it, so that means that Fi(HoH) is deserving of her absolute loyalty. With other people, well...they aren’t Fi(HoH) now, are they?
Appearance: ...too lazy to draw and I felt like using this pictuuuree....Myste is on the right. Has misty rose hair and eyes, and likes wearing light dresses, usually white.
History: One of Fi(HoH)’s furniture. Quite possibly was one of the furniture who thought that it’d be fun (and best) to present her project as a game, to attract more people.

-------

Name: Ysabelle. Don't. Call. Her. Belle.
Role/Race: Human // Meanie
Gender: Female
Age: ~13ish
Skills: Being a meanie.
Personality: One of the most unimaginative people you’ll ever meet. Santa Claus? PSH. Fairy tales, whatever, those are for losers! Gods? LIKE THEY’LL EVER EXIST. Ysabelle never really believed in those stories, preferring logic. LOGIC. LOGIIIIC. Although her logic’s kind of twisted, and she’s also a little on the egotistical and selfish side. Definitely thinks that she’s above rules and such. A little apathetic towards others, and very insensitive. Not really lazy, more like she thinks that she shouldn’t have to do certain things.
Appearance: So one day you put on a bit of makeup, just to make yourself a little prettier. Then the next day, you put on a bit more...and more...and soon you don’t think that you’re pretty unless you’re wearing caked on makeup. Luckily Ysabelle hasn’t hit that stage yet, still being at the “little bit of makeup” point, and still has that little bit of “natural beauty.” She realizes that she’s pretty and is quite confident in it...perhaps even a little too confident in it. Her brown hair isn’t very long and is usually perfectly straight. Bluish-gray eyes. Rarely ever slouches, making her look taller than she is.
History: Basically she’s spent most of her life trying to stay on top, and the best way to do so was to become a sort of bully. Used to play some sort of stringed instrument but quit as soon as she could. Probably calls Rosalin “Rosinalin” because of that. (H,hey, at least she’s not mispronouncing it...?)
The kind of person who will use others’ successes to boost herself up. One day she’ll probably get caught for plagiarism. Probably that’s where she’s headed.

--------

Name: Anna
Role/Race: Human // Delinquent
Gender: Female
Age: ~15ish
Skills: A pretty strong will...or maybe she’s just thick.
Personality: Pretty daring, insensitive, act first, think later. Kind of lazy! ....for her, “act first” means something more like “....don’t think, ERGO YOU’RE TAKING AN ACTION.” A little hard to take seriously. Generally gets pushed around a lot by Ysabelle, despite being older.
Appearance: Slouches. A lot. Sometimes wears stereotypical delinquent clothes, just for the heck of it. Nobody really takes her seriously, though. Likes wearing rolled up pants. Dark-ish blonde hair, hazel-ish eyes. She usually has it up in a sort of messy ponytail because she’s too lazy to brush it. Often looks tired. Often is.
History: She’s...not really....a delinquent, more of...an extremely unmotivated person. Yet she’s totally fine with that!! It’s a little scary...her parents sort of gave up on her a while ago. Meh. What’s their business, is their business. What’s her business, is her business. Anna isn’t that dumb, more like...being smart is too much effort... She figures that there are other people who are smart enough to make up for her. Has an odd sort of almost-admiration for smart people, but it comes out as more being annoyed at them?

---------

Name: Erin
Role/Race: Delinquent // Human
Gender: Female
Age: ~15ish
Skills: Brute strength. Following orders.
Personality: One of those people who isn't exactly slow, per se, more passive and with a tendency to follow authority. It takes a lot to faze her, and she usually has a blank look on her face. Ysabelle doesn't seem to like her.
Appearance: She doesn't appear to be that muscular, in fact, Erin has more of a lanky build. Her dark brown hair is usually messily brushed and she also occasionally wears "stereotypical delinquent clothing." Brown eyes. Average height, yet shorter than Anna who slouches.
History: A member of Anna's -all girl?!- gang. The brute force. The one who tends to do most of the actual bullying. Even some of the teachers are a little scared of her because of the rumors they've heard.

-----

Name: Sara
Role/Race: Self proclaimed genius // Human
Gender: Female
Age: ~15ish
Skills: Computers. A through and through "techie."
Personality: A sort of "geeky" girl. Likes to call herself a master genius, strategist, anything else that sounds cool. Holds herself above others, although she's not too good with the brute work, she's more of the person who makes sure that the teachers won't be there when they "should" be.... Is jealous of Rosinalin?!
Appearance: Super pale blonde hair tied back in braids, pale skin, blue eyes.... Her parents generally make her dress nice despite their school not having a uniform. In other words, white blouses and a black skirt. Thanks, Mom and Dad.
History: The "strategist" of Anna's "gang." A few years ago, Sara decided that class was too stupid for her, and so she started skipping...and skipping....until she finally met Anna because they were skipping class in the same place.

Name: Re
Role/Race: Furniture
Gender: ....furniture.
Age: Properly aged.
Skills: Camouflage; she can melt herself and others into their surroundings. Not too much of an offensive furniture.
Personality: Seems to be pretty happy and satisfied to just be there. Simple.
Appearance: Light orange hair and golden eyes. Hair is long and straight. Wears a long, sleeveless jacket-like thing and high heels, despite rarely ever "walking." ...perhaps that's actually the reason.
History: Fi's second furniture.

-------

Name: Cynthia
Role/Race: Shaman // Human
Gender: Female
Age: ...older than you.
Skills: Lasting perseverance and one heck of a strong will.
Personality: Very determined. She's willing to go as far as she needs to in order to get what she wants. For her, the ends justify the means. Cynthia can also be a little spiteful, and is very good at holding grudges. She can also be a little destructive and create a lot of collateral damage. Meanie.
Appearance: Although her face is extremely youthful, she has grey hair that could possibly denote her age. She looks like a teenager, and has innocent blue eyes. Hair is tied up into a side ponytail, and she likes the color purple.
History: Likes to think of herself as one of Fi's arch-nemeses. Seems to be under the impression that long ago, Fi did something to deathly insult her, and has held a grudge ever since. It's rumored that she made a deal with some sort of non-humanly existence in order to assist her in meeting her goal.

----------

Name: Shard (At least, that's what Cynthia calls it)
Role/Race: Cynthia's adviser // Unknown entity
Gender: N/A
Age: See: Gender.
Skills: The ability to form a contract with a human, can somewhat manipulate time.
Personality: Blank and deadpan. Doesn't really understand the implications of its sometimes sarcastic tone. Cynthia seems to think of it as a bit of a pest sometimes, although she does seem to respect it.
Appearance: N/A.
History: Some sort of entity that Cynthia encountered many years ago. Few have ever seen it, although it's clearly not a figment of Cynthia's imagination. Has a grudge against Fi? Not much is known about it.
The deal that Cynthia made with Shard is like the one Maedeliena made with her Totem. Although Cynthia will retain her youth, her life has been shortened. However, if she can get her revenge on Fi, she will be able to become a God. Or maybe a Demon...
Cynthia is Kakera in this plane.
Shard was a demi-god, godly being, not quite a god.
It was Cynthia's will that made Shard into a God. Cynthia believing. Kakera believing.
With all the "Kakera"s in each plane, Shard was made into a God. The belief of so many people can make anything into a God.
In fact, Kakera could possibly be called "God." Or maybe a "Demon."
...maybe even "Laplace's Demon..."

Name: Selina Markswood
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Nationality: predominantly Danish

Psychic - Past Encounters with Supernatural Phenomena - Sixth Sense - None

Occupation: social liability Author
Reason for accepting: Because if I don't....I, I'll be cursed--!!
Personality: Very timid. Superstitious. Not photographed well because she's terrified of having her picture taken. Selina Markswood is not her real name, they could track her with such information!!
She's Danish? Predominantly? THAT'S A LIE. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT SHE IS. Also has light asthma, although living in Denmark made it better.
Believes that she is cursed and wants to avoid being further cursed.

~~god the RP started today and I already have two theoretical characters XD;; ...if Kakera counts.
Now I really want to play a blind girl......I don't really want to make Selina all uber blind-author-ish ;___;

Name: Marianna Dellith
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Nationality: English

Psychic - Past Encounters with Supernatural Phenomena - Sixth Sense - None

Occupation: Music Student
Reason for accepting: I want to know more....
She's blind. Most people would guess that she saw some sort of supernatural phenomena and then went blind, and that's what she tells people. However, in honesty, she's been blind since birth.
...Her dog is supernatural. Although it appears to be a regular little dog, it has a high intelligence level and is eighteen years old, yet still seems to be a puppy. In return for giving Marianna sight through it, it slowed down their aging process sort of. Marianna and....Catriel for now, are attached to each other; although Marianna herself cannot see, Catriel can, and their psychic link allows Marianna to know what is there. She is in a wheelchair simply so that Catriel doesn't get run over, lol. Also, it fools people and can help judge their character XD However, since Catriel is a dog, it is a dichromatic (deuteranope).
She was forced to accept that she would be blind for "forever," and has pursued a study in music. Her hearing is above average, and she can easily play by ear. She has a little dog that doesn't seem to be a guide dog, but actually is. Generally moves around in a wheelchair; although she can walk, her father (mother) is overprotective and keeps her in a wheelchair. The kind of girl who is hard to satisfy. She always wants to know more, and often has problems with her parents. Despite being eighteen, she is still very small.
Possibly will make her psychic instead.
Am basing her off of Kohane [xxxholic] and Rei [rabbit doubt]

"Dear Sir or Madame:

My name is Dr. John Montague. I am an investigator of the supernatural a parapsychologist if you will. I am about to embark on a 6 week study of the infamous Hill House. No doubt you have heard of it's lore. I am seeking volunteers to come and stay at the location with me and to study any paranormal or supernatural happenings. I have chosen to invite you for several reasons the first is of course is destiny. If you shall be attending please RSVP as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
John Montague"

Selina shivered, and tugged on the sleeve of her sweater with one hand, while holding the letter in the other. Destiny? Ohhh.....I am sooooo going to be cursed..... she said to herself, biting her lower lip and meticulously folding the paper to meticulously place it in her pocket while her fingers trembled.

"E, eek!!" the light haired woman suddenly cried, jumping slightly and quickly scurrying out of the path of some other person she didn't know, dark blue eyes positively terrified. Said eyes were focused, wide-eyed, onto the person's shadow. D, don't come near, don't come near, please don't come near meeeee I don't want to be cursed!! she wailed soundlessly, practically hyperventilating. Thankfully, the person passed before she could work herself into a fit of asthma, and she pressed one hand to her chest to calm her breathing.

Selina Markswood was a relatively small woman with very pale, usually rather messy hair and very dark, usually wide eyes. The effect could be a little unnerving or surprising to some, but the one who seemed most disturbed by this fact was most likely Selina herself. Her skin was equally pale, causing her to look rather sickly, and the fact that she seemed to hardly eat anything didn't help her appearance to look healthier. Today, though, she seemed to have put at least a little effort into her appearance, seeing as her hair seemed to be straighter than usual, and Selina had also taken the time to put on a headband.

++++++++CLASHES OF POWER ]] plans XD><><><><><><><also put in posts tba.
EVERYONE WHO HAS A PROFILE GETS A PLAN XD
Moegi;; Wait for Arisa and Pai...what else is she going to do? Will probably get bored eventually.

Monday;; MINI MONDAYS. MINI MONDAYS. MINI MONDAYS!!! Once she gets interrogated, have her go on about cloth people. (read: Henry the Nineteenth and Osmond)
++
She felt...weight, on the back of her head. Alas, she was tied up and could not move her hands to confirm, but there was definitely something on the back of her head. Monday was tempted to semi-violently thrust her head against the wall in order to determine what was on her head by the sound it made, but based on the stories she had always heard, breaking one's gem was most likely not a good idea. Hadn't her mother told her a story about something like that....? Old stories aside, Monday frowned.

[HOW WILL SHE NOTICE, SHE CAN'T SEE OR HEAR.]

The door was open. The door was open. THE DOOR WAS OPEN. Immediately, without even thinking about whether or not she really did have her gem, Monday generated a mini Monday hidden behind her. She could see. Of course she could see. It was something she had learned a while back. Somehow, her power would only transfer her clothing and what she usually wore. Trying to bring along gear or anything wouldn't work; it wouldn't shrink properly besides not actually shrinking at all. She would always have to be outfitted with gear and whatnot after the change.

That aside, the mini Monday's hazel eyes darted around, looking for the shadowiest path to the exit. If she could just slip past, then maybe she could get out of wherever the heck she was and try to contact the SF.

[I think that's as far as I can prewrite XD]
++

Blank;; OHCRAP WHAT DO WE DO. There's not much he can really do, for now just sit tight and wait.

Violetta;; Scowl. Drop a few hints about it.....

Maya;; If she EVER GETS TO LAKHGKDLFD APPEAR, probably will only be mentioned through Osmond and Laus...

Osmond;; Seems a little irritated. Still maintains that he speaks for Maya.

An'na;; Cries. Only if Cobalt/other attempts to main Osmond will she appear.

Laus;; DROP HINTS. DROP THEM LIKE HOT POTATOES. He does know.

Alric;; lol he's only going to be mentioned XD Probably by Laus.

Carah;; INTRODUCE HER LOL. She was on guard duty, poor Carah XD

Tuesday;; Still living all by herself ;___; Still selling flowers. Still looking like she's 20.

Patrick;; HOMELESS LOL. Only maybe mentioned by Monday. Father dearest the homeless drunkard.

nine dragons nine dragons nine dragons nine dragons nine dragonsN I N E D R A G O N S profiles

Name: Noa
Style: Wildlife
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Appearance: Wears a white kimono with blue patterns on the sleeves. Her obi is red and has a big bow in the back, and she is -almost- always barefoot. Ice blue hair is quite long, reaching down to lower back at least, but is pretty much always tied up into two buns on the side of her head -- her hair gel expenses are non-existent, thank you very much -- with two locks hanging free. Bangs are long and almost obstruct her ice blue eyes, almost but not quite. Noa wears a mask of some unidentifiable creature, usually it is on the side of her head but sometimes she wears it on her face, in these cases she can seem almost alien...er than she usually does.

Drawn myself, will color it...soon...ish....just not with colored pencil, probably.
Colored
Not drawn myself...I still like this one.

Reason to fight: Personal reasons. HAHAHA.

-----

Name: Amianne
Style: Plantlife
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Appearance:

I am shamelessly using the Pokemon Gijinka for my characters. slash shot.
Ha. Finally drew her, yay! Will color her soon.
Colored. Ha.

Reason to fight: "…wait…since when was I fighting…?"
Etc.: Like Ana, she’s not an actual fighter; rather she’s there to heal those who get injured in the battles and such. The reason for her young age is that her family’s been doing this for as long as she can remember; and so she’s actually been around for a while.

----

Name: Theolle....nicknamed "the old" and has since then said that he is around twenty years old. [This nickname came into play when he was around twelve, by the way]
Style: ....waaater
Age: ~20....ish......
Sex: fe......maaaaale
Appearance: A crossdresser.
...A very convincing one, at that! Boy, he even talks like a girl! ...a flatchested girl, but that's not all that uncommon now, is it?! Theolle, although you can of course call him "Theo," wears long pants, a long shirt, and a sort of cape-thingy. (Will draw) His hair is gray. Not helpful to his "the old" status. Eyes are blue.
Considered making him look like a belly dancer / gypsy. But that would be cruel. tehe.

Reason to fight: TO BE A MAN. [and think like one! XD]

-----

Name: "Lind" -- yes, it's a nickname and call her by her real name and she will be most not happy, you PERSON.
Style: THE MANLY ONE....then again, water's not all that manly since most of the fighters are female....
Age: As old as Theo says "she" is.
Sex: Female, you person.
Appearance: Long purple hair, often tied up into a ponytail. Wears a sleeveless turtleneck and yoga-like pants. Ballet-like flats and a sweater, often tied around her waist.

BE A MAN.

Reason to fight------wait, are you a person!?: TO GET THEO TO BE A MAN.

The kind of person who thinks that "person" is an insult and a replacement for the word "idiot."
Not a fighter...due to various circumstances at the sign-up place...
A good friend of Theo's and tagged along to see him become manly. Is also a sort of outcast in their tribe?

-----

Name: Kallath
Style: Plantlife
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Appearance: Thin, reddish hair that's just long enough to be tied into a short ponytail, which it usually is. Bangs are long but not long enough to obstruct his vision -- THE HORROR!
Wears dark-ish, plain clothing; mostly browns and blacks. After all, serving on the medic team means that you're likely to get blood and God knows what on your clothing, there's no point in wearing light clothing or clothing that you like. -cough-AMIANNE-cough-

Reason to fight: Well technically I'm not a fighter although I suppose that if I really wanted to, I could get myself...enrolled...*smirk*

Other: Amianne's older brother and her acting superior. Has a knack for turning up at the oddest times. A little on the ambitious side. Oh dearie me.

An older brother and her boss 8D

------

Extended Theo and Lind:
Lind is an outcast in their little tribe. For one thing, while most of the tribe members wear flowing, blue clothes, Lind wears black, not so flowy clothing.
Lind's "be a man!!" complex probably comes from wanting to belong.
In reality Theo's probably the stronger one........ Lind came along with Theo so that she wouldn't be left alone in the tribe, lol.
Theo is a surprisingly strong fighter. He probably crossdresses out of his own free will. Lind doesn't seem to like it XD

Extended Amianne and Kallath:
Kallath is super ambitious. Even though they have parents, Kallath is the one in charge. He basically went over his father's head to get himself in charge.
Amianne doesn't really like her brother. She thinks that he should have left the boss position to their father, and that's why she's all "do you really like your job...." at him. Also Dad sort of wants her to find out Kallath's motives.

-----so that noa has a pair!! XD-----

Name: Noel (lol similar names XD)
Style: Wildlife (?)
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Appearance: Wears a white fuzzy coat and black pants. Often has the hood up. Wears gloves and boots, looks ready to brave an arctic (or antarctic) blizzard.
Reason to fight: To help Noa train. They're childhood buddies. He's not actually fighting, he's not even there as far as I know XD He and Noa are cousins, hence the similar names. He is also totally used to all of Noa's quirks. A relatively calm guy.

reflect/regret

Are you dead?
I think I am.
Why are you here?

This place is for the dead.

A ghostly house sits upon a dark, tall hill
It’s been abandoned for a hundred years
But lately every night
The lights turn on
And off
One by one

The place is haunted by the dead.

No one dares to enter the house
Anyone who has is dead
Found all alone outside the door
They met a crueler fate

Inside the house all for the dead.

Are you dead?
I think I am.
You’ll be dead soon, too.

This place was made for you

Do you hear the voices?
Can you reach the sound?
Do you have the courage to reach out a helping hand?
The walls will serenade

With a waltz made for the dead.

Make it up it’s all a lie
You won’t believe so now it’s gone
You’ll find one day you’ve woken up
But the world you know is gone
Because you have been taken

To the house just for the dead

And you’ll remember those same words
You heard late that one night

Are you dead?

I think I am.

Why are you here?

THIS PLACE IS FOR THE DEAD.

If I’m there,
Am I dead?
How did I die?
I don’t know.
Why did I die?

That place should be no more

Inside the house, the lights never are on
Outside the house, they flicker on and off
The doors are locked, the windows barred
Outside, entrance is easy

This place isn’t safe anymore.

"If nobody's going to believe in them, then I'll be that 'nobody.'"
"I didn't know anything about it!"
"That's not an excuse."
"If you're going to blame someone, don't blame me!"
"I hate the people like you the most."

Are you dead?
I think I am.
Why are you here?

This place is for the dead.
