With the loud crash of waves Alex was washed ashore, nothing more than a purple splotch on the beachs white sand. Crawling up the beach a little ways as to escape the horride water the male then dropped back into the sand sputtering out a mouthful of salty water. Damn oceans! Damn boats! Couldn't they ever be helpful? Continuing his mental rant a bright flash of white then appeared beside him.His faitful Liepard, who had chosen to stay in her ball now stood by her trainer, nudging him gently with her muzzle as a means to see if he were all right.

Sitting up Alex rubbed the cats head smiling slightly. "Yeah yeah, I'm ok Li. A little worse for the wear but good."Checking himself he still had all his pokemon with him. The only thing missing was his hat. Then running a hand across that familiar braid the smile dropped. Ok scratch that, not good. The braid was now a mass of tangled knots. Not something that Alex was too fond of.

With a sigh of annoyance he took out the hair tie so firmly placed in his head and let his hair down which he hated dearly. Most guys kept their hair short but since Alex couldn't bear to cut the purple locks he'd just let them grow out. Over the years people had begun to mistake him for a girl though and as such he'd begun braiding it. "Well so much for that huh?" He asked looking to Liepard who just seemed to shrugg, if that was possible. Well whatever, now with hair problems out of the way they could focus on the real problem. Where were they?
