the plot

Once upon a time, there was a forlorn American girl who going nowhere in life. She, along with her twin brother, lived with their mother who constantly overworked herself to exhaustion as a brain surgeon in downtown Chicago. Her twin was the only thing keeping the girl alive. However, her luck changes when she and her family get the chance to move all the way over the big pond to Dover, England. Little did she know that soon her life would be filled with more and the little amount of adventure she was looking for and possibly even more surprises. For in this little town called Dover, there lives a dangerous boy with powers so uncontrollable, they could destroy whole cities in one outburst. All he wants is revenge on the father who ruined his whole life, but will he demolish more than just one person? And will she end up saving this treacherous villain or become a victim along with the rest of England? You’re the one with the power to decide.

Always the hopeless dramatic, she dreams for something more meaningful to her life than just motherless days with nothing except a blank easel and some instruments. Sure, art is great and everything, but she eventually runs out of inspiration. That's why she's excited to be in England, so maybe something great can find her and she can finally leave her grey, boring bubble of a life.

He was never as needy as his sister. In school, he always fit in with the crowd. He's a smooth talker, loyal, and just an all-around good friend. That's why he's always there for his sister whenever she needs him. But when he moves over to a new place, he fears a bit that his powers may not work on the oh-so-classy ladies of England. But not to fear, girls won't be the first thing on his mind.

Then what happens when excitement and things start to pick up? She tries to stay home, but duty calls. Her workaholic habits have caused her to be a bad mother, but she still expects her kids to be normal. When she finds out what will happen, how will she react?

But the scientist took it too far with his experiments and eventually ended up thinking that his experiment had died. So what happened next? He disappeared into the ocean for years until he finally re-emerged angry, gained a power to freeze people's souls, and grew full of vengeance for a ruined childhood.

Most can't handle her vision of the world, except for our heroine and her brother, which keeps her from going crazy (or at least more than she is already).

He's a mastermind with a great job and prizes galore. But what does he really want? Only to be known as the smartest man who ever lived. But his biggest fear is time. For he's already in his late 30's, and even though he has made one of the world's greatest and worst creations, he just wants to go down in history. But how far would he go to do that?

With the whole creation and the anger of his father after he left, the poor son couldn't even stay in his own home anymore. So he and his mother bought an apartment on the south end of England to try and escape the horrors of the scientist's fury. But when both the scientist and creation find them again, his son has a newfound fear that might haunt him.

So here's the dealio, my fellow roleplayers. This is a roleplay based off of a story I'm trying to write, but I've got absolutely nothing so far. So I thought you guys could help me out. So no ******** around, please. You can make your character fun, but don't be mean unless it really calls for it. Kaythanks.

2. literacy / posting

I'm not asking for Moby d**k here, but seriously...if you've never flipped through a dictionary, then get out now. I really hate advanced literate, but if you MUST write out a page of words and make me look illiterate, I'm not holding you back. At the least, I ask for 2 or 3 good paragraphs. But it's really more about quality, not quantity. I also enjoy colorful posts, but don't overdo it with a crapload of borders and icons, etc. Be simple, but nice.

3. profiles / reservations

Send your reservations to me with your main color and your character's name and title it with the name of your favorite band. For profiles, you know how to fill that out and s**t. So just title it with your favorite song name.

And that's all I think is important.
