History:
Freed was one of the unfortunate children who had been taken from society to participate in the Dragon Experiment. He was also one of the most unlucky to have survived the injection.

Homeless, he was taken off the streets with his father and offered a chance to earn money in exchange for their cooperation in "medical tests." At the time, however, Freed was much too young in order to make decisions for the family, and his father decided that with his son already starving, they had nothing to lose if only for a little pocket money. Over the waiting period, Freed and his father were given shelter, food, and medicine for any injuries and illnesses they might have. Both Freed and his father were Klaus Schwarz's patients, and Freed's father was among the first few to show symptoms that concerned Klaus. Freed's father was also one of the first few to perish from an overdose of dragon's blood in the experiment. Freed was never informed of his father's death though, and therefore, he went into the Experiment with no knowledge of his sealed future.

Because Freed was young, body smaller and still developing, symptoms of his transformation showed up much earlier than the other adults, and he also quickly fell ill to them. His long time home on the streets never served to give him such a great immune system. Those that watched over the children of the Dragon Experiment considered Freed "as good as dead" and prematurely locked him in his room to wait for him to die. But, his illness was a sign of his body adapting to the dragon's blood and changing him. He recovered, but the staff never bothered to check up on him again. Thus, Freed was left alone in his room and unfed. He didn't see the light of day or food again until Klaus carried him out of the Dragon Experiment facility himself.

Klaus nursed Freed back to health as a member of the pack of dracomen, and Freed very soon came to be seen as "one of Klaus's own." Like father like son, Freed developed Klaus's grim sense of humour and cynicism, but he never felt hatred for the human race in general. In fact, he desired to one day be able to see mankind again, but with the way the Dragon Experiment had changed him, such an endeavour was impossible -- at least on his own. When Aetius turned to his brother, Deitus, for help in dealing with the humans that hunted him, Deitus sought out Klaus for assistance. Deitus, very aware of how Freed wished to see humans again, asked Klaus for permission to take Freed to Aetius. Klaus, though reluctant in giving up the boy he saw very much like his own son, eventually allowed Freed to go, trusting that Deitus would be putting him in good hands.

Personality:
He's a precocious young man, and it shows. His tongue seems to move quicker than his head does, but he can assure you that the haughty sarcasm that leaves his lips is entirely intentional.
Feel like you're constantly being teased? Chances are, he actually likes you.

He is proud and independent. For as much as straightfoward and tolerant Klaus raised him to be considerate of the things around him, Freed grew up impatient and curious. His headstrong attitude hasn't gotten him into trouble only once, but who says he doesn't somewhat enjoy it? He's not adverse to having debates with others every so often, but he would prefer to leave the physicality out of it; his strength lies in a witty mouth and a sharp mind -- not violence. But if you'd prefer to fight him, you'd better catch him first.

Detests: Being doubted, relying on others, being mocked, dogs, mannequins, sweet food, hyperactivity, piercing noises

Likes: Swimming, insects, hunting games, bird-watching, people-watching, Aetius's muse, open fields, building nests, exploring

Voice: x

Facts
- Freed is wary of Klaus's acquaintance, Deitus. Though he is grateful that he helped him get out into the human world again, he has expressed more than once to Klaus that he feels Deitus has hidden motives to keeping close to the dragonkin.

- Though Freed disliked Aetius at fist, he does not so much detest him now as much as he always feel inclined to outwit him. Aetius, being much older however, always seems to have the last word.

- Freed will snap at just about anyone. When he is a dragon, he will literally snap at just about everyone.

- Toxins do not leave Freed's body unless he wants them to. Therefore, breathing in the air around him will not cause any harm.

In Combat

Though the symptoms of the Dragon Experiment emerged within Freed faster as a younger individual, it didn't cause a growth spurt; therefore, he still has the body of a growing young man. Agile and flexible, not nowhere near his full physical potential.

- Physical Capabilities -
Freed is child of the streets. He relies on small hand knives and his surroundings rather than large-name weapons. Before he gets into a fight, he would rather attempt to outsmart and outmaneuver others into escaping into the darkness. Because he is still young, he cannot stand up to most real threats head on yet, but parkour is his game, and he will use it to his advantage.

Unlike the rest of the dracomen, rather than producing flammable gases, Freed produces toxic poisons that he may either expel as noxious fumes or spit as liquid acid. This venom, however, is extremely harmful to the environment and can permanently damage the things it touches; therefore, Freed uses this only as a last resort.

Because Freed is still growing, his dracoman features are not as prominent as the adults of his pack. While he can fly, his wings are smaller and clumsier; he prefers using them to help streamline his body as he runs. He can still dish out a nasty scratch or a headbutt though.

- Magical Capabilities -
Freed does not have any magical capabilities.
