Anthony was digging through his bag when ever Injo responded, Anthony paused only for a second then continued to busily fill his hands with pieces of the the digi-cocos, a frown appearing on his face, he really doubted that Mychala could eat it all, and usually he would have commented back but even though it had only been a week, Anthony already knew better then to get in between Mychala and Injo when they were fighting, besides Palmon was on it. She was better suited for the job anyhow, she could hit him harder.

Anthony did however look up when ever Clair spoke to him, His eyes meeting her before he looked over towards Mychala who was just beginning to fume over Injo's comment, you'd think the girl would learn to ignore him. "Really i don't think-" he stopped talking when Mychala jumped to her feet and paused before telling Injo off, he sighed quietly and looked back at Clair again who was now talking to her digital partner about not eating. However this time he didn't have time to comment or frown because just then patamon finally decided he was tired of flying in circles, or maybe he just wanted to get below the level that Mychala was yelling at. He landed, not too softly on Anthony's already sore head his wings flopping down over top of Anthony's own ears, successfully muffling the noise for both of them, Anthony didn't know weather to glare at patamon for landing on the bumps on his head or to thank him for the gesture.

When Alex burst from the bush he interrupted Anthony from doing either, Anthony swong his head around when Mychala stopped yelling and everyone's attention instead turned to where the pray-mantis had just broken out of the forest. He caught a glimpse before patamon, thrown off balance from Anthony's head spin, scrambled not to fall off his tiny hoof like feet hitting Anthony in the forehead "whoa, whoa, whoa! Anthony rushed to put his arms out and patamon fell in them only to tilt his head back to get a glimpse of the digimon, "uh oh! Before Anthoy had time to stop Patamon he had already rolled over and began flapping his ear wings toward Snimon. Anthony scrambled to get up, dropping a few of the digi-cocos on the ground in the process, but he was too preoccupied to care.

As the many digimon began to attack the gigantic bug, Anthony joined in with the crowd of humans that were mostly unable to help, accept for Ming, whom had taken his digimons place hurling rocks at the angry digimon, Anthony was scanning his companions when he heard Patamon yell "Boom blast! he let out a big blast of air but, much like the other digimon, his attack did very little to discourage the rampaging bladed insect. Anthony tore his eyes away from the battle when Mychala all but barked an order to Coronamon, he stared at the digimon in question frowning slightly. "Come on Coronamon, I'm sure Ming could use a break, switch up, will ya?" He gave a kind of half laugh but quickly swiveled again. Turning to Mychala his eyes worrying just like those around him they had been hit a few times as well but mostly they had gotten lucky enough not to get in the line of fire, mychala was perhaps a bit too close to the action, that's the problem with being the leader, your always the first one to run into danger.

Patamon had already stopped and looked away from Snimon, and he also got pelted by a stray attack, not directly of course but when your flying, disturbances in the wind around you can throw you off balance patamon lost his balance in the air and tumbled a few feet downwards, Anthony ran forward to catch him, missing and tripping in the process, Patamon then promptly landed on his head for the second time that day, Owch! They both said in illusion. Due to their graceful collision they missed the digvolution taking place sitting on the back of Anthony's head Patamon gawked "Alright Exveemon, go get him, show him who's boss! yeah!" Patamon paused for a second when he felt a hand grab one of his wing-ears and he was then pulled off of his human partners head.

Anthony pulled his head from the sand to glare at Patamon before turning his attention to the gruff voice coming from above He watched and smiled as the other digimon was finally taken down a notch, ExVeemon's lazer knocked him from the air and patamon and Anthony despite themselves both smiled widely, and while Anthony got back up patamon rejoined the fight taking to the air now above the enemy digimon. Snimon in the meantime also got up, recovering from his fall. it had obviously hurt but the battle wasn't won yet. Snimon crossed his blades beginning to shout his attack right back, he was aimed squarely for Exveemon, and the attack would probably hit Mychala too. Not if Patamon could help it! patamon was the only digimon there that could fly in his rookie stage and thanks to some quick, though albeit reckless, thinking patamon chomped down on one of the hair like appendages on Snimon's head, and pulled violently successfully distracting Snimon so that his attack was a little off center and his holler of "Twin Sickle" was rushed at the end. For all of Patamons reckless bravery he was swatted out of the air by an even angrier Snimon who's main focus was still on ExVeemon.

Time, it fades away, Precious as a song, Cause someday we'll be gone♬

"Now, tell me again, where does it hurt?" The phrase was still held with a kind and patient tone although it was the fifth time she had repeated it. The 'freshman' as she had heard some of the men calling the youngest of the students, was currently laid down on a counter, that Nazira had been told was used to sick students. He had his hand over his eyes and his mouth brought down in a frown. The nurse was trotting around in the next room, Nazira could hear her sorting items, and the plot of her hard falling feet as she walked around the room opposite. The boy on the counter gave a moan of pain, in the same tone he had been using since he had arrived.

The boy wasn't sick, Nazira could tell that much, but she guessed that was the reason she was stuck looking after him. The actual school nurse wasn't going to waste her time. Just as the boy opened his mouth to name off another random body part, something other then his stomach, throat, spleen, kidney or Uterus, all of which had already been claimed and unclaimed, a loud bell sounded throughout the entire school. Nazira's shoulders gave a quick jolt. She still wasn't used to the loud obnoxious noise. She turned in attention back to the boy just in time to see him fling his arm from his face and sit up abruptly "Feeling better?" The boy nodded excitedly and uttered a quick 'thanks, miss' before rushing out of the room. no doubt to run around and eat lunch with his friends.Once the boy was gone Nazira let out an annoyed sigh. No matter how different this world looked to her, it was still the same. Aspiring scholars would rather play sick then learn anything about their least favorite subjects.

In the room next to hers she heard the nurse speaking softly to another student, Nazira looked from her spot in the backroom to see a small girl asking for bandages, Nazira smiled warmly but didn't interrupt the pair until the girl had continued on her way. She then softly plotted back into the main nurses office, dropping the empty chart meant for the 'sickly' child. The nurse laughed at Nazira's annoyed look "You'll get those often, it's your choice weather to send them off to class or give them a break. I usually let a few of the ninth graders get away with it, they're still so young after all." The nurse was a kind woman, her face had smile wrinkles and her hair was a little warn, but her hazel eyes held patience, kindness, and intelligence, all of which she would be needing. Her hand rested on her swollen belly. This had been Nazira's 'in' to the school.

She was a little too old to be hide as a student like the princes, and she wasn't particularly smart in any subject that was taught, that had been her brothers job, so instead she had offered to take over for the school nurse, whom was currently 35 weeks pregnant. She didn't show it too much but it was quite obvious, however with how small her belly was she could have passed for only being 40 weeks, it was going to be a skinny baby. "I'm used to it where I come from as well" Nazira gave the nurse a kind smile, the nurse looked distractedly over to her schedule posted on the wall.

"Where did you say that was again?" A completely innocent question, but Nazira had never been the greatest of lyers so she'd rather dodge that one.

"Oh, didn't you say something about lunch duty. I can do it for you today, after all you'll be gone the day after tomorrow so I had better get used to the schedule right? You just stay here and relax, or go into the staff room, I'll notify them that I'm doing it today." Nazira didn't want to be asked any more questioned so she smiled brightly as Mrs. Welsh, before exiting briskly, hearing Mrs. Welsh's thank-you as she left the room. Nazira's job wouldn't be so hard. She was a teachers aide and a nurse for the school, three periods would be spent helping other teachers with their classes upon request, and one period a day would be reserved for her to spend time in the nurses office, while also taking her spare. However if a student needed her desperately at anytime they could always ask the office to page her, there was also an emergency phone in her office that would page her directly if a student picked it up, although that was just asking for a prank.

Nazira hadn't been in the school that long and still had trouble finding her way about the school, thankfully all the students were heading in the same direction, which also happened to be the same direction Nazira needed to go. All she had to do was pace up and down the rows of benches, picking up garbage and catching would be food-fighting-starters along the way. It was easy enough, it also gave her a chance to pass conversation in between herself and the princes, not to mention Leito, although Nazira found the man impossible, he needed more help then she could ever give him. Students were still piling into the room. Nazira was able to witness a couple being split apart by a vary ill-tempered looking girl. Nazira would have interfered but the couple left without much of a fuss, and although it had been extremely childish of the compact girl, it had helped Nazira avoid the awkward conflict that Nazira would have had breaking up the spit swapping herself, so she let the action slide, walking passed the slightly lower bench herself. giving the blond a quick look over as she passed.

Talking the princes wouldn't be any problem, after all they were new students and she was a new teacher, who was better to make them feel a little more comfortable in the new school then the soon-to-be school nurse. In two days, Mrs.Welsh would leave so that she could stay home and take care of herself, and eventually to take care of her new baby girl. Once Mrs. Welsh left Nazira would be on her own, left to figure out all the schedules and weird medicine of this world without the kindly, older matron. Although it was going to be tough being a teachers aide, nazira was lloking forward to helping out in the biggest room in the school they had called it a jim-na-zi-um... Nazira wasn't sure, all she knew was that it was big and student played different sports within the large encasing walls. Nazira knew how to teach and help with that, and she also new quite a bit of the text book health, it was basic stuff really, however the chapter on 'harmful drugs' was still a little confusing.

Time, it fades away, Precious as a song, Cause someday we'll be gone♬

Nazira had walked past the striking yellow haired girl without incident and started down the rest of the cafeteria. slowly walking up and down the isles, she watched as students piled into the room, many sitting down or heading into lines to buy their food, it was really like organized chaos in the room. The idea of this many people in one place reminded her of the church, or when there was to be a royal announcement or festival, however none of those reason quite fit the bored expressions on the students faces.

She turned around to go down in a new direction turning back to look at the doors again she noticed one of the princes. Little Yuu looked a little troubled. She was contemplating going to help out the prince, which she barely knew but had to help anyhow, not that she minded, but unfortunately her earlier savior got to the small boy first. Nazira's jaw literally dropped when the apple was thrown toward one of her charges, it didn't land very softly either. She stood stock strait for a moment trying to process what had just happened and what she should be doing next. Her first instinct was to scream at the teenagers from where she was standing, but that wasn't a good idea, considering she was suppose to be a teacher, especially a new one, meaning she couldn't burst out loud and she had to act 'professional' according to the man called 'principal'. Of course she had to follow the rules of this world but her duty came first!

She could see that everyone else either hadn't seen the exchange or wasn't doing anything about it. Students shouldn't have to respond, and if they ahd it would have been in laughter, but she had hoped to have another teacher help her out since she really didn't know how to do these things properly. No matter, Nazira rolled up her invisible sleeves, set her eyes in determination and headed toward the small group, where poor Yuu was being dragged off to sit at a table. Nazira smoothed down her yellow shirt, that had been deemed appropriate, by the girl at the store she had hastily run into, for school. The shirt was much more free flowing then her tight black leggings, and fitted boots. The slim boots were from Aerth, although she had been shown the woman's footwear she refused to wear the strapped looking shoes, they would hinder her speed and balance.

On her way to the table she picked up the offending piece of fruit that had been left on the ground where it had fallen after bouncing off her charges head.she held the apple tightly while marching toward the pair of attackers. "Excuse me miss but I believe this belongs to you, and you shouldn't be throwing anything at anybody! explain to me why you were thing it in the first place." her jaw was set and she held up the round red fruit towards the yellow haired girl, gripping it so hard that her thump pierced the skin where the apple had been bruised upon contact with the floor. It made a lovely sound as well. her eyes had fire in them as she glared at the small attacker. she had the same hard stare when she looked to the blue haired girl with the same ammount of malice but her eyes shifted to the young prince and became softer.

"She didn't harm you did she, P-... Yuu?" she had nearly slipped up and called the young man by his title as prince, but that would have brought on a whole slough of questions which neither of them could answer, and so although it wasn't proper to call the prince by his given first name, it was all she could do and hope not to offend the royal in any way. After speaking with to the prince her herd eyes returned as she looked at the yellow haired girl expectantly, looking ready for a fight. She had raised her voice but thankfully not as much to alert the other teachers in the vicinity, although a few close by students began to watch the conflict with interest, finally something a little more entertaining then the daily routine of the school.

Casey had been out on the floor for most of the night. During the long never ending days within Eden he was often sitting on his butt, dutifully taking notes like all the other message demented children on the 'good' side of town, or sitting in front of a piano or on a chair listening to some boring tutor. He barely moved during the day, restricted by the condition that he must be invisible to those looking for their mistakes. He took it very seriously because he wouldn't be able to stand losing this. Unlike the other Be Boys, he would never settle down just to one thing to do while in the bad side of town. Why should he settle for one thing or the other, when there were so many things to choose from. In Eden he had to begrudgingly work around the pretense that he was a good kid here was where he could get what he really wanted, and tonight that happened to be an older man that he had been dancing with for a while now.

Casey had a thing for goatees after all and this man's was exceptionally cute. he smirked ready to continue teasing the man in front of him with hips that ached to move like this during the day, and his footwork was quite something considering that he had only ever been taught how to waltz, his parents would probably self-combusted if they could see what kind of 'dancing' their perfect son was really into. Despite his need to embrace the night something caught his eye. Just as the older man hooked a belt loop on his black pinstriped dress pants, pulling him ever closer, Casey was drawn away from his taunting eyes, and instead he watched the scene of his friends conflict instead. Casey let out a sharp wince, he could stay here pretend he hadn't seen anything and his friends would be none the wiser, but from what he could tell the unsteady woman had just made a swipe at Rin, and despite his deepest desires to let their dance continue Casey was forced to push the taller man away from him, it was a pity really but the Be Boys came first, after all if he didn't help them out they wouldn't help him, and money can only get you out of somethings, not everything.

'saving their butts again, I'd better get some reward from this' The tall stranger looked a little shocked, Casey's eyes went from full of lust to 'get away from me' in a split second. Their pretty boy wasn't the only one with a face for expression. Casey side stepped away from his partner before the other could argue, it was no matter, he would just start dancing with someone else, probably the blond babe that had been intent on getting his attention before now. Casey fold the cuffs of his un-tucked half buttoned purple shirt. the shirt was unbuttoned at the top showing off some of his chest, his black hair contrasting beautifully with the color, and his friends had said that purple didn't suit him. Casey watched as the woman was literally batted away by Chika, and he didn't see it ending all to well. The woman was drunk enough to fight back, and if any of them went home with bruises it would be tiresome to make up believable excuses. The woman recovered her eyes holding fight in them, drunk or not she was going to whoop some a**, well not if Casey had anything to say for it, or at least not if his money had anything to say for it.

Casey but up his best smile and came up behind the woman hooking his arm around her shoulders, he gave her a charmed smile, despite her darkening cheek she was pretty enough, but being drunk and all she was dumb enough too. "Are these boys bothering you? Why does a vixen like you even bother with these types, come on babe, leave them, let me buy you a couple more drinks." he flashed a smile at the girl that was worth the money his parents had invested in braces and teeth whitening kits. The woman took a few seconds to register what he was offering, she was definitely dumb enough. However drunk it would take more then that to remove her strife.

"Ho muchhhh you got risss boy?" By gods her breath was stifling, he rummaged in the pocket of his dress pants and waved a fifty in front of her eyes, her dull, dressed up eyes followed it with interest

"As much as you want sweet-cheeks" She seemed satisfied with that she through another glare but she was too drunk and excited to care anymore, the drunken whores were often easy like this. While steering her back towards the bar he looked back towards the group giving a wink and mouthing 'don't leave without me' He would by her another drink, she'd probably either pass out or puke it up either way as soon as she was distracted he was gone. he was aware that the night was growing old and they had to get back soon, or a thousand cucumbers would rid his face of the deep black circles of sleep deprivation. They would owe him big for this one, they better not complain the next time he felt like groping one of them on a whim, and he better have a free picture from Rin. Whatever his whim once he got rid of the painted woman, they had better fulfill it.

Water splashed down dripping on to the cold stone floors. The sensation of cooling was a good wake up call when he needed it. Calloused hands slowly slipped away from slightly tan skin, and slowly golden eyes slipped back open. a droplet collected itself and dropped off of his nose, hitting the tiles. The sound like an echo in the quiet room. Usually a room wouldn't be this quiet not when the kingdom was happy and the soldier's quarters full of fine men, uninjured and only training for far off wars that they never expected to come, however now the hallways and rooms were filled with a heavy silence, the draining waters from being positioned close to the falls, were an eerie theme song instead of the bubbling and laughing trickles he was used to. Finally he sighed standing up to his full height, a slightly below average five foot eight. The sound of his armor sharp in all the empty space. The training halls had once been filled with men, however wars that had seemed far off were suddenly upon them, and most men were scarce, spread out and preparing for battle, or at the bottom of the great lakes, as was fitting for any honored solider that had died fighting for their kingdom.

Slowly he started to head out himself, the morning was dragging on long and he needed to get out there before his comrades could miss him. The dull clank of his armor hitting the floor as he flowed through the building slowly became less deafening as he caught up with the others. The soldiers had been gone since dawn, crossing the great seas that separated the water kingdoms land from that of everyone else'. It was their greatest defense, for the waters were guarded by several species only loyal to them and patrolled by some of their finest, the only creatures able to bypass the kingdoms watery barriers were the creatures of the sky. Dragons were the biggest threat but many from the kingdom were also dragon riders, accustomed to fending off wild dragons, and fighting off other kingdoms that dare try to get past. The sun was already high in the sky but the battle would start late due to the time needed to make the crossing. Dragon riders could do it in a quarter of the time.

While walking among his comrades he hastily pulled his dirty orange-blond hair away and trapped the longest pieces with a simple binding spell. His magic was weak and generally useless but he had enough to survive and he had a greater weapon then anything magic could provide. It was a hike to get to the top of the cliff falls, but one all of the men had grown to take on with ease. Nervous jokes were passed between friends and strangers, looks of luck, doubt and hope all present within the crowd. Evelyn was one of the many forcing a small smile of hope for the others sake at least, but even as his pink lips curved up with his head was filled with questions, like how many of them would be able to make the hike back? When the summit was reached Evelyn could hear the chaotic symphony of flutes, whistles and jeers, as all the men used their own call to big their Dragons to their side. The water kingdom were not known for their dragon riders, only a few had the skills and the aggression to conquer the beasts into consent and even then the skills took years of mastering, Dragon riding was something the fire and air tribes were best at, where as water and earth where much more comfortable closer to the ground.

That made the couple dozen men that would dare brave the skies all the more important, but it also piled odds against them, they had to be swift to survive the day, especially since it was rumored that the fire tribe have control of a powerful dragon that Evelyn had always thought to be a myth, he had never seen it and still doubted it's existence, his comrades however were much quicker to believe and fear the mighty beast. He pulled his own hollowed shoot to his lips emitting a low drone of a sound and Ansteathia dropped from the sky, his thick black scales and lean-muscled body had always been the most powerful to him, he gave her a smirk itching to ride again, he only wished it was upon better terms, none the less he quickly mounted her back, in front of her wings and clinging to her slender neck, molding to her body bare back, much like morning dew on leaves. A small amount of pressure placed on the soft flesh wear his feet could reach sent his into the sky, she fell from a top the hill using the water misted air to tell her when to use her powerful wings to take him into the horizon. Despite the late morning time the Vally was still cast in misting fog, created by the humid air and soaked landscape.

The water kingdom had the most fertile land and the most fresh, clean water to drink. it was no wonder they would be attacked for it when other warmer lands were struck by drought, or other inevitable disasters, still Evelyn had no pity for the men and women desperate enough to start a war over such things... although Evelyn only assumed that was the reason for this war, he may be a well respected and rare dragon rider but he was far from speaking with nobles about what this war was about, he only knew that they would have to defend themselves or risk losing to much. Ansteathia dipped low gliding across the vast deep waters before banking right around a ferry already heading back to the Vally, probably with many wounded soldier's aboard already. He moved behind her and she went up at his command taking the high skies and gliding strait toward the battle field.

Evelyn listened to the conversation on the other side of the door, much like a child would when his or her parents were talking in private about said child. His ear pressed hard against the firm wood. “That’s not possible,” were the next words he heard he furrowed his brow hoping to hear something that would help him understand. “I mean, there was something but it is not my bonded.” He wasn't talking about his and the princes something... that thing. Bond? he tried to remember what a bond was, he had heard of them before, but things like destiny and bonds were not often spoken of in his country, they were rare occurrences, something about his people not being passionate enough for it, he had also heard they weren't weak enough to be controlled by destiny and other such things but what did a bond mean if it had something to do with destiny... not that they had one, they couldn't.

“Calm down,” for a moment his brain had been happily panicking, the foreign voice on the other side of the door seemed to be talking to him rather then Cicero and he took a few deep breaths, for once the prince had to be right, this 'thing' wasn't a bond. Besides Evelyn didn't even know if they were talking about him, it was likely they were but it didn't mean that they were for sure. “Gailon, what occurs if something happens to someone who might be a bonded?” his ears perked up despite his denial, because he still didn't quite remember what a bond was. “Is your bonded a warrior then?” They still could be talking about some other warrior... it didn't have to be the one locked behind the door they were talking against, right? a heavy feeling was setting in his stomach, it was uncomfortable and it was growing, what if the new voice was implying that he and, the prince were... He gulped hard, he didn't want to think about it.

“That’s not good. She should be pulled back. I’ve seen men who lost their other halves in battle. They never quite recover.” HA! She! He let out the breath he had been holding, he was still extremely at unease, because he was aware that the other man could be simply mistaking the person behind the door for a she, but he had proof that it might not be him after all. Perhaps before the days battle Ciero had some sort of encounter with a female warrior and this was simply all a misunderstanding of his own. “Thank you, Gailon,” the words sounded waited, just like his own would sound at that moment... but it just couldn't be. Something else registered after this he knew what bonded meant. It was when two souls were tied together, meant to spend eternity matched with each other. When he had been younger he was often over heard a hopeless romantic, usually a girl, talking about them. How the two souls were meant for each other and that when they finally met eyes their lives would be forever entertwined and their love for each other deeper then any one unbonded could have.

He had also heard it in training. He had been warned to keep his wits about him if he ever met a bonded pair, for they were fearsome while fighting along side one another, perfect battle mates in tune with one another and hard to kill be cause they fought for each other, rather then for themselves. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to be alone to think for a while.” The comment tipped him off, if the other man was leaving that left Cicero two options either leave as well at actually think 'alone' or to come back in the room. The latter was the most likely. enough thinking about things that may not even concern him he looked about the room frantically.

The other door had already proven useless, hiding under anything in the room would be pointless since he would obviously be found and looking the fool while he was at it, what could he do though he took a few steps one way then another step the opposite way, he could hear the prince moving he panicked. Go for the door! It was stupid reckless and so typical of him but the prince didn't know that and being weighted with his thoughts as he was he might even catch him off guard, he didn't think of the repercussions of his actions, or about the fact that he had no where to run to, especially with his hands still bound he just did what first came to mind.

The door opened, Evelyn only waited as long as it took for him to be able to fit through the opening and then he charged! Unfortunately his ankle wasn't favoring his escape methods. He stepped to hard on the swore joint twisting it oddly and instead of running forward he now fell directly on top of the already frustrated Cicero, and getting back up would be hard with his bound hands, but as soon as he was done wincing he tried, rolling off his captor but getting up was going to take too long, and Cicero reacted before he could.

Evelyn faltered when the small child grabbed on to him but he managed to stay standing at least, as if it were his own country he almost reached down to ask the little guy if he were alright, but the kid got up and ran away again proving that he was alright, and just simply distracted. Thinking about it, his ankle didn't hurt at all. He still felt where he had hurt it but it had nearly completely healed itself overnight. He looked back to Cicero and realized that the others eyes were on him again, he had looked tense, worried, and filled with some kind of rage for a moment and then it passed and Cicero seemed to be fine again. What was the man expecting He wasn't a blood thirty killer like the men or Orian.

His eyes lit up in the hopes of seeing some performers and receiving Cicero's positive answer about them. he hadn't just sat around and watched performers for what seemed like years, even when their country hadn't been in war he had been practicing and dueling non stop, mostly because the land had felt tense, a war had been brewing and most people could feel it in the air. Evelyn had dedicated himself to flying for the better part of his days. When they arrived in the center of the town he couldn't help the smile that spread across his face.

He watched the single man contort his body, much like most Mer people could do, moving like water was an art. He clapped for the man his teeth showing, he hadn't been sure if Cicero would like his choice of events for the day, of course he had half expected the prince to turn him down, he just hated sounding uncertain. He wanted to be assertive even when he wasn't feeling so sure. He watched as the fire and water casters worker together, and he was reminded why his mother loved this, it was unity like no other, something most women wished could happen around the world and not just in these small bands. He snuck a glance at Cicero but he seemed to be enjoying himself, so Evelyn let a goofy smile spread across his face as he watched with a slightly childish delight. It was really like he was a kid again. "I'm happy that they haven't been effect by all this" Cicero would hopefully know what he meant, he didn't want to say the word war, or battle, then he would remember that his comrades and friends were fighting it as he spoke.

The two women created the perfect dance between water and fire, too bad that recently the two elements were colliding in battle rather than in this grace and beauty. It really was dazzling. The woman rose the water from a bucket below her into the air pushing with magical force she was able to walk on the water, the flames grew higher about her and the end result was a fountain of red water, a light from the sun and fires around it, and when the flames grew too big they licked at the edges of the water creating steam that only added to the display. In this way fire and water could coexist with one another, finally when the water elemental had reached herself high into the ground she starting moving fluidly and then to surprise of on lookers the flames ate away at the water and both disappeared in a great white cloud of steam, not that the day needed to be any hotter.

When the two finished Evelyn clapped softly, watching the girl land beside her opposite partner, the two were obviously very practiced, they were some of the best he had seen. Many people through money to the pair on stage and they bowed deeply from the applause, but the exertion had to have been great for the water walker nearly stumbled. walking on your own self propelled magic was tough, even the best would have found such a task difficult... Evelyn was kind of happy that some of the best elemental users traveled in these neutral bands, who knows what they could do if let loose on a battle field.

He looked over toward Cicero thinking for a moment before at least trying at conversation. "When I was young I would often run from chores to watch the performers in town, I would sit in the streets for hours, until my mother came and found me." He chuckled under his breath remembering his mother cursing his name to the gods when she found him each time. "But I suppose growing up with your social status you probably got the preformers to come to you?" he said it as a matter of fact, expecting it to be so, or at least when royalty watched it would have to have been a big deal. In his country the bands had to preform for the young emperess first before being allowed in the streets.

She had become empress far too young, just barely into her teen years, the position forced upon her when her parents died. Even royals had traumatic things happen to him, she was old now and leading the defense against the Orian soldiers, still unwed she was viewed as someone Mer soldiers would die to protect.

Blast it all. Smee woke with a start having a dream of battles and mayhem. Often the chaos his dreams could cause was a pale comparison to his everyday life aboard the Jolly Rodger and along side His Captain. Every disturbance seemed trivial when you lived days filled with them. His room was barely dark anymore, the seemingly rotting wood had thinned and given way so that no bed and no room could escape Neverlands daylight. Smee was actually quite fortunate, as first mate he had gained himself his own sleeping quarters, he had not gained himself a proper bed however, his current one wasn't any better then sleeping on the forest floor, except perhaps it was a little drier after a rain fall, but only a little, cracks couldn't hold up to the rain any more then they could against the sunlight. Being a pirate however, had accustomed Smee to all sorts of imperfects.

The slightly small boy finally through away the thin sheets from himself. he had wrapped them around his body during the night hard fought duels and travesties. Once done Smee was able to sit up and eventually rise from his bed. It was quite early although if the light was any proof Oliver had actually woken a little later then usual, once again he wished he could have a clock to wake him on time, but such things were band due to their constant ticking. Smee had lived along side Jay long enough to know which lines to cross and which ones not to, she let him get away with more then the average pirate, but he knew better then to be more trouble then he was worth. She dressed himself and pulled his belt around his still slimming waist, all this action was starting to make him thinner by the day, and although he was certainly happy not to be fat, the skinnier he got the more frail he looked, being gifted not to have that much muscle to his frame. He holstered his gun, and sheathed his sword before opening the door to face the early morning. already pirates were moving about the large deck, however anchored like they were the men had little work to do.

Smee walked on the the deck confidently, it was irritating, Smee was only an inch taller then his Captain and unfortunately it put both of them at a height smaller then many of the pirates aboard their ship, especially Little john. No matter Smee took a few seconds to take in the smell of the sea and call of sea birds that reminded Smee that they were still quite close to shore. He looked about the crew members searching for a few familiar faces he was unamused to see that although many faces were familiar none of them belonged to the people he wanted to see. Little john was hard to miss so it was obvious that he must have left the ship, since it was doubtful that he would still be sleeping at this hour, Tink and Meryl were no where to be found either. He watched some of the crew members to ensure they were all doing everything right, better to get caught by Smee then by Jay. He paced over top of a water bucket that was being used by one of the younger pirates to keep the boat in top shape, he looked up to the mast to spot another man looking out boredly into the ocean sometimes bringing up his telescope and looking into the sea to try and spot anything interesting.

More men were moving about repairing sails and cutting new items out of wood, Smee noticed the absence of one of the crew members, one of the two men, a pair of friends, now sat working away, his fellow new recruit no where to be seen. It took Oliver only minutes to find out why the man was missed and he pursed his lips trying to hide the frustration he felt, but his eyes became a little harder then was usual. Honestly Jay really should stop shooting people at the drop of a hat, not that the man had been particularly smart about telling complete strangers her where abouts, and not like Oliver hadn't warned him to watch himself, but really if this kept on the crew would narrow down to just him, John, Meryl and Tink. After all he was the first mate, and John had always been reliable, not to mention he vary rarely made even minor mistakes around Jay, and both Tink and Meryl weren't half as expendable as the other ship mates. Having a crew that small wouldn't make them a big enough match for Pan's gang. All of them were strong enough to take them but they might be come overwhelmed thanks to the larger number, and pan didn't often kill of his lost boys.

Smee sighed, there really wasn't much use and he dreading having to discuss the matter with jay so early in the morning. it would probably set her into a bad mood. Smee resumed his early routine now that he was up to date on all of the happenings of the night, he also found out that John had indeed left the ship it was irksome but none the less John had done nothing wrong and it only bothered Smee because John had been leaving a lot more then usual lately. Oliver only hoped that he was going to gather useful information on these trips he took. Now with a cup of coffee made just as the captain like it rested comfortably in his steady hands. Smee had gotten good at carrying the captians early waking drink, able to dodge even the most annoyign pirates, which was odd considering how he usually tripped when he didn't have the drink, not that he was complaining.

He had only dropped the captains drink twice and both times Tink was there to laugh at him, much to his dismay. While opening the captains door after a quick and silent knock that probably wouldn't wake her but he made the knock out of habit anyhow. While forcing the door ajar Smee thought about why he hadn't woken to the shot during the night, then again such things were far from uncommon aboard a pirate ship, suppose that alarm clock would have been no use afterall since Oliver could usually sleep through anything until he wanted to wake up. Now standing within the darkest room aboard the Jolly Rodger he regarded his rest captain and placed the tea on her bed side table, waking her up by touching the place beside her head, only softly as not to alarm her "Rise and shine Cap'n" he smiled and stood back just in case, Jay wasn't always her friendliest in the morning and she sure as hell wouldn't be now that Smee was going to turn into lecture mode. "Did you have a bit of fun while I was asleep Jay?" it was obvious that he already knew the answer it was also obvious that he wasn't impressed, hense the reason he called his by her first name now rather then 'captain'.

"You know I had to scour all of Never land and nearly beyond to get those recruits, you can't just kill them all. Try 'em to the mast for a day without food for punishment but just make sure they can still work when your through, we need all the hands we can get." his tone was unimpressed but never angry, he couldn't get angry with her, besides he knew better then to completely chastise her for her actions, else wise she would chastise him back with a force much more powerful then words.

For a while she felt he wasn't going to let her in as the monstrous undead fiends grew closer she did the same thing she always did, she panicked, she honestly couldn't see any other way to react, how did others do it? She had just started moving away when the door latched open and she was pulled in by the man. She gave out a loud holler of surprise but despite herself remembered to slam the car door back shut, fidgeting while continuously pushing the 'lock' button, even though she had locked it the first time she hit it another ten just to be sure. She was just beginning to lean back from the thin sheet of glass separating her from total annihilation, still making a high pitched whine under her breath, broken by her still rushed breathing. The man's precaution however brought her back to reality, she was a little to close to another body, and even though this one was obviously not trying to devour her flesh she still felt that getting to close wasn't a good idea.

She did as asked a little later, as the wheels came back to life and the motorized vehicle screeched back to life she was flung to sit strait in the passengers seat and her fingers jerked to pull the seat belt across her chest, it took a few stabs to get it to fit with the latch. Once they were moving Eve was able to calm down a little taking in a few deep breaths a wiping at slightly damp eyes. She was admittedly a cry baby so Evangeline couldn't blame her red faced look on the man that had just saved her, even if he had been the one to attract the zombies, it had also attracted her. As he mumbled to himself Eve finally turned to regard the male beside her for more then his pinkish skin color and eyes that had a more life-like appearance then the dead and half falling out ones that belonged to the undead. She pulled at her own hair, a nervous habit. "No, your right, not the brightest thing anyone's ever done..." After a few more deep breaths her body came out of the outright panic mode and slumped into the usual almost outright panic mode it was used to and she continued "But, at least none of 'em got in, and we're both humans." The last part was pronounced with a little bit of astonishment. She was in a car, speeding away with another human.

"Not I'm fine." she quickly answered his question, "Had a fright but they didn't get close enough to touch me." She nodded reassuringly more to herself then to the male sitting beside her. She licked her lips and then it hit her. "Are you the one? The one who wrote the message I saw?" she was of course referring to the message she had read on the computer. She hoped that she had found what she was looking for... if not then maybe they could find the messenger together. She looker over her new found companion, to his short messy brown locks to his honest face. He was easy on the eyes and looked trustworthy enough, a lot more then the others had been but she had always been a burden, so it was no wonder she didn't trust the men and women that saw her as a crybaby that was going to get them found. She complained often about how much the rest of the groups resented her, but she really needed to learn to be grateful and to keep her mouth shut, she never would though.

Trying to smile her lips curved upwards for a few seconds but her heart was only just starting to calm and she couldn't smile for much longer then a few seconds, she outstretched her right hand, to shank hands, the message writer or not she still knew that he was human, and for that proper introductions were in order. "I'm Evangeline Doxen. Thank-you for finding me." her expression was honest but it was hard to stay optimistic and happy so she left the smile off her face, her eyes always widened, always fearful looking.

A cacophony of words bloomed against the paper, scrawled cursive writing quickly devoured the once unblemished paper disappearing beneath the frantic wrath of the written words, it looked elegant but it was near impossible to read, the words ate up the book none the less, already they had poured through two thirds of the little journal and he had filled a dozen more, they were secretly hidden in the bookshelves, behind other books beneath the shelves, behind the walls and anywhere they weren't likely to be found. Each one had no title and looked shabby as hell, thus is the torture of any book that falls into the calloused hands of a man like Barnaby.

His writing paused for a second and bolt blue eyes paused, their depths frantic, though intelligent looking over the last piece of work, he furiously scratched out the last three sentences and muttered under his breath about how 'No they're too clever for that'. and 'I bet they're planning this next.' the frantic words sprung up a new and Barnaby pushed his pink lips into a thin line as he finished off the thought, he looked over the words once more reaching up a calloused tan hand to rub furiously at his head, once again sticking his hair out into new odd angles, he did comb it every morning, but usually it would return to it's electricuted self within an hour so their wasn't much point.

Suddenly satisfied he slammed the book shut and stopped scratching, a small triumphant smile appearing on his face. The urge to write his thoughts was often impossible to ignore, actually what he really wanted to do was run to the nearest person and shake them to death until they finally understood what the men were planning what were they doing just sitting around in this dusty library they should be running for their lives! Building shelters underground, stocking up for a year and not coming out until it was all over if you they knew what was about to occur, they would all be as scared as him... Things like that weren't well received here either so he refrained from shaking people. At least he could write it down then maybe someone sane and rational would read it and find semblance.

He stood up hiding his little book in the third layer of his clothing, which took some effort. He was wearing a plain blue plaid shirt, with an extra pocket sewn into the inside against his stomach, the collar had been torn off thanks to nervous hands and his own itchy neck that had forced him to take the scissors to the fabric, on top of that he wore a sweater which also was missing it's neck in fact he had cut a full two inches around the entire collar making it fall down to about mid chest length all the way around but most of that couldn't be seen over his large burly brown jacket, it went as far as his mid thigh and still managed to look short on his lanky arms, from which the long sleeve shirt and sweater arms were revealed, also quite shredded and stained with ink of every color.

He rubbed his hands together they were getting cold, the palms were not only calloused but discolored by the ink on his hands, both from his pens and the newspapers he could find scattered within the library. To compensate for the lost warmth the collars of his shirt and sweater would have once provided he had a large mauve colored scarf wrapped tightly around his neck three or four times, the ends sticking out hazardously. He had trouble with scarfs and hated then, the way they scratched his neck and bothered the stubble on his chin, but the day was rather chilly and after sitting still writing for so long he had wrapped it around him. Now standing he pulled at it distractingly, loosening it somewhat.

His left hand scrambled to lift his sleeves to peer at the large and old leather wrist band watch, he had been sitting there for a few hours, oblivious to the happenings around him, he was a little hungry but he had grown used to the feeling, what he really worried about was what he had missed. The world could change in seconds and he dreaded any sort of surprise, so once he re secured the buttons on his coat he set out from the small corner he had hid in. his large and out of place bright colored skater shoes flopped around like clown shoes. Being a size thirteen made it very hard to steal the right pair of shoes, they were the only pair he could find, the neon pink tongues flapped wildly beneath his denim jeans. The shoelaces where no where to be seen, Barnaby didn't trust shoelaces. He had been intending to head downstairs to see where everyone was, but suddenly he was cut off.

He gave a clucking sound of surprise and had to hop on one foot over a line of books that had fallen at his feet, he narrowly missed landing on them but instead hopped over them on one foot like a kangaroo, waving his arms frantically; a desperate attempt not to fall over. However as fate would have it his hands accidentally pulled at his reticently loosened scarf and he nearly strangled himself before falling back on his behind. He hated being surprised! "Marcy Roosevelt, Hugh!" He called out his eyes having caught sight of the other male just as he had kicked a few other books out of the line of substitute dominoes. He shook his head a little and ripped the scarf free of his neck completely, one hand rubbing his poorly abused throat the other stuffed the scarf into his already bulging coat pockets. "Don't you know you could kill someone!" He began to stand but paused in thought before he could finish the movement 'maybe that's just what he was trying to do'

He thought it over carefully he wouldn't... would he?' tentatively he piped up a little higher pitched, attempting to chuckle good naturedly it came off as off pitch and nervous. "save that for Charles, right?" He didn't mean that he didn't want any of these people to die but if Hugh confirmed his 'jokeing' question then perhaps Hugh being a killer wasn't so far-fetched an idea, and then who knows? He could be going after them one at a time starting with Barnaby, so he couldn't warn the others, he had to think fast here. The man man was still stuck half in between standing and sitting it didn't occur to him to actually get up to lost in his newest theory.

Al wiped his brow for the third time in the past hour, it was hot out, not as bad as most days but when you worked hard you would still sweat a great deal. The sun was high in the sky meaning it was getting close to mid day, it pounded down on him mercilessly as he worked. He and three other bulkier men were a top a large house thatching a roof, they were almost done now, mostly thanks to Al's hard work, he had often worked bpast their own hours sometimes staying right through the night, and he often didn't break for food eating bite between knocking off sections of cracked and broken flats, and then again as he laid the new thatch down, it had been a hard work, seeing at the roof was quite artistically designed to form three separate triangles above the square of the house, it belonged to some man who had money to burn and while Al was both jealous of the man and quite a bit hateful of him he none the less needed men such as the owner of large houses such as this, for they paid a lot of money so that other people would blister their fingers instead of him.

They finished a few hours before lunch, hopping down he wiped his already horribly dirty and disheveled work pants. He had a shirt thrown on the ground somewhere, he was fortunate for his dark skin, because he could work for hours in the sun and he would only face minor burns, where as his fellow thatchers weren't so lucky. Eddy still winced every time his shoulders moved from the burn he had received their first day on the job, he had figured that if Alphonse could take the heat so could heat, but Eddy had obviously never had burns like Alphonse had.

All day long he had this nagging feeling in the back of his mind, he felt like going to the forest but he had quieted the whim, telling himself that he had to finish the work first, now that he was done, washing his hands under a free running hose , the feeling came back ten fold and he humored it, turning it over in his mind. Something was telling him to go out there now. He still ahd work to do however, they still ahd to do the general clean up, even though the last of the new slots had been nailed down, and the old slots had already been disposed off, they had to pick up their stuff and meet with the contractor to get their full wages, after that he would have to wash up, he wasn't currently a pretty site and he doubts he smelled anything less then foul so he turned away from the rolling hills and valleys laden with trees and bracken, he would have to put it off.

He good naturedly rejoined his group but his eyes continuously wondered back to the forest. He had ignored instinct before and it had cost him, his instict was half the reason his sister had been free from harm, but then again it was also half the reason he had nearly killed all three of them. He couldn't leave the job undone. Being the youngest amongst the men and by far the smallest they hadn't expected much out of him, instead he had worked hard, section by section was completed faster then any of the other men could do, and unlike them he didn't complain about the work, so instead they jeered him complaining that it must be nice to be so young and care free, even though Alphonse was more often the opposite, strange powers, a paper butterfly and now this nagging pull. In mid sentence he dropped his eyes to the ground his mind was trying to force him away from his job.

"What's the young lad trailin' off fer, Got a young lass watin' fer ya?" the large man but one muscular arm around his less then broad shoulder, ruffling his hair with the other. Sure the men knew he was capable of hard work now but his size and age made them think they could ruffle his hair and treat him like an adolescent Alphones pulled out of his grasp roughly then tried to rearrange his hair, which had been held under a bandanna before, said black material now was almost falling off, he pulled it down only to pull his hair back and put it in place to hold back his shockingly white hair.

"Never you mind Faust, I'll come and collect the papers with you." However Alphonse trailed off again mummbling quietly about how girls never came before work was done, the big, man, whom was also in charge of the four men pulled him back head locking him and giving him a thorough noogie, his purple eyes narrowed unamused by the whole mess.

Faust just laughed a great barrel of laughter while pushing his away from the group "Never you mind the papers lad, you'll get yours, young fellas like you should be chasin' tail now get out of here." Alphonse somehow managed to stay on his feet from the large shove he stumbled a little but kept his footing as sure as any. annoyed he caught his bandanna before it fell off his hair and turned back but before he could say another word Faust spoke again "I insist, this works to hard for a boy your age, go now." Al looked annoyed and usually he would argue the fact tirelessly, but something told him he had to go to the forest, through his disheveled hair he looked up at the mountain again, sweaty and gross as he was he didn't even feel like washing before going, so he looked back at the men and then waved a curt thanks, for once he would let the men tell him what to do, the job was done... mostly and although it bothered him not to finish it to it's entirety, but for once he forced himself to let it go.

Despite his need to leave he did stop to pick up his shirt and then run home to change his outfit, not doing the justice to bathe but he at least cleaned himself free of most of the dirt and grime before quickly setting out. He tried to blame his itch to go wood walking on his keeping away from it most of the time, often caught up in one job or another always working and never spending time to himself, although his feet followed a determined route rather then simply wondering leisurely it was as if he was as hard set on this destination as he had been to finish his earlier job. before he knew it he had worked his way through a large amount the the forest with harsh finality and broken through the foliage and into a clearing. That's when he finally realized this was intangible whim, this was a calling. Other were there two looking just as bewildered as he felt, what in all of Elysia was going on here?

He walked out slowly, he recognized some of his peers, they didn't work as hard as he did but he had come across them from day to day, he had never paid mind to them before but he wondered weather he should have. as he joined the sort of lopsided circle they had created he looked about fascinated. It was the emerald eyed girl that spoke first, her soft brown hair and facial features were familiar but Al couldn't quite place her name, 'Would it be safe to say, what exactly we all know? Or should we simply dive in, and say what we have....acquired?' he couldn't have anything in common with them could he, he stared at the markings on his hand eyes darting to find it on others, this was getting to be a little too much.

His eyes danced about trying to read Sven's expression, 'called' was that the word for the burning yearning he had felt. At the mention of someone else he squared his legs as if ready to fight and looked about him trying to find just who that 'someone else' was. Hidden between flammable branches and the fire feeders they grew from this was no place for a fight of Alphonse' standards. However he soon realized that Sven might have been talking about the other teens in the clearing and he relaxed again hoping that no one had seen him tense up at all. That was when she arrived.

His cloud white eyebrows disappeared behind still slightly disheveled hair, the hair contrasted with his dark skin but his oddities in his features couldn't compare to the Divine before them. Al just blinked he didn't know weather to bow or not, so he just nodded his head respectively unsure of what to say or do in her presence. her voice resonated like someone conscience did inside their mind, this made her seem all the more to be respected. He waited kindly for someone else to start the introductions, he was determined to get this meeting to it's completion but he had never really been a leader. That was until someone accidentally made the first move, when the something went whistling through the air nearly hiting the Divine and knocking it's head clean off it's shoulders, Alphonse for all his sturdiness was so surprised that he stumble back and fell down on the ground himself. he cursed under his breath.

"Be careful!" His dark indigo eyes glared harshly but they softened once they realized that she was quite apologetic already his eyes softened, he didn't know how to comfort her though. All the sudden another of the divine appeared, smaller and much cuter by a girls standards the tiny divine raced over to aid the crying girl and from his spot on the ground dirty calloused fingers in the dirt behind him holing him up he watched the little creature comfort her with a bit of dumb found amazement, were there more still?

It had been a trying morning. Eben wasn't one for dreams or premonitions but looking at his hand he knew that it meant something, he had prattled on to his mother for hours but it was futile, the older woman wouldn't let him get out of his chores. He spent the early hour taking stock of all the clothing they had made for trade, annoyingly folding the clothing and putting it into a pile where his mother had specified, he didn't hear voices calling out to him nor did he feel some vague pull telling him where to go, no he felt the ground shaking around him, even though he wasn't the horizon seemed to quiver when he looked toward the forest and he knew it had to be something to do with that strange paper butterfly. Sitting inside their medium sized hovel his teal eyes kept looking outside the window distractingly and the more he tried to ignore the grounds insistence the harder his world seemed to shake. In the early morning he had though that the world really was shaking, but when no one else seemed to react Eben realized it was in his head.

A lesser man would have thought himself mad, seeing his world shaking, either that or horribly ill, but while Eben was meant to be grown, rational and strong he still believed in the power of the Goddess and he also believed that this was some what her doing, but he would never admit that to anyone else, they'd think he was a loony. When he finally couldn't take waiting any longer he attempted to slip out the back door, his whole body shaking in unison to the illusion of the grounds own quake, he needed to get a move on, however his mother was no mind reader or spell caster she had raised five boys and she could tell when they were trying to escape their chores. Just as he was about to slip out the door she cleared her throat behind him.

He turned around wincing. "But Moooooom, I really think I should be going now." She had already listened to him paddle on about a unelysian calling, and a destiny but remember she had raised five boys, and among the whole lot of them Fai had the wildest imagination, the woman wouldn't be so easily convinced.

"Don't whine Fai, your much too old for that." she set him with a disapproving swear, and Fai would have pouted if he could have used it to win her over but he was too old for that too. Instead they had a staring contest he looked his mother in the eyes and she looked into his, she looked unamused, like a brick wall, his eyes were pleading, trying to look adorable like they had when he was young. Some tricks never fail; She sighed throwing her hands into the air in frustration. "Alright go then but you had better not come back empty handed. Take the laundry with you too, at least you won't waste the entire afternoon that way." Eben smiled ear to ear.

"Thanks" he gave his mom a quick peck on the cheek, dashing through the house grabbing the laundry and his axe, if he had been imagining the whole thing he could at least hack down something in the woods to bring back for his mother, and if it was some destiny about to unfold, well then he'd have his weapon.

He headed up the mountain with both nearly running in his excitement which was always strange sight. Eben was no small man, to see anyone his size attempt to run at a child breakneck speed was a little strange. When he got into the forest he dropped the laundry near the lake side praying that they wouldn't get stolen or ruined by some animal, but he couldn't very well show up at this calling with a laundry basket in hand. Once it was discarded he made his way even faster to a place he somehow already knew, when he broke into the clearing he had to slow down, he looked breathlessly around him now quite embarrassed that he had burst through the brush so brashly a light blush crept across his cheeks as he looked from person to person. Well his mother should have never doubted him.

He smiled when Gwen tried to get them to speak and he usually would have spoken up instantly but he stopped himself, this wasn't simply talking to his brothers this was real he had to say something smart and not look like an idiot but he of course failed at that too, getting cut off when Sven arrived with his little sister Frida, and to make matter work when he did finally get his mouth to move and force words out it was at the Arrival of the large winged Divine and the words happened to be "Woah your awesome." with that oh so genius comment his face went read all the way to his ears and he looked away suddenly extremely embarrassed he scratched the top of his head trying to hide the vibrant red color of his face, unsuccessfully.

He mumbled under his breath 'that was brilliant' to himself then he heard something zing through the air, he wheeled around to look for it's source and his eyes fell on Kaede, she was stunning even when she was crying. He smiled for her trying to calm her down. "That's okay Kaede, it was an accident" it had to be Kaede wouldn't intentionally cause anyone harm. He had a small crush on the girl, but he hoped it wasn't to obvious, he took a few steps toward her and then the second Divine appeared, thankfully he stopped himself from 'awwww' ing at it's cuteness, that would have been even worse then his other comment, he had to push his lips shut refusing to say anything for fear of saying something stupid in their midst. However he did set Alphonse with a glare in Kaede's defense.

However when the third divine entered the seen Eben crumbled a little, thinking to himself that he was the one that couldn't control his own power, he was a failure and he knew it, he rubbed his foot in the dirt embarrassed, running a hand through his spiky red-brown hair embarrassed yet again. He didn't know how to defend himself against the Divine, he knew that the Divine was probably right.

Al had kept his spot where he had fallen over, still marginally embarrassed that he had lost his footing in the first place, however when Veillantif broke from the brush most of his embarrassment faded into a slight aw at his size. Veillantif was no small cute divine like the little cub called Suzy, but nor did he hold the grace and reserved beauty that the winged Divine, Tabby seemed to hold about herself. No, instead he was a large mass of fur as dark as soot, fangs claws and muscles, he dripped with power and bespectacled all those that met his eyes with a slight fear simply because no man would have been able to fight him, but Al wasn't worried the Divine wouldn't hurt them. Veillantif walked by him close enough that he felt the soft fur touch the side of his face and he could also feel the aura of strength coming from him as he walked by. Alphonse realized that Veillantif was surveying them, like a vulture hovers about it's next meal, he was sizing them up and his words after the fact were anything but kind.

A part of him was outraged with the Divine, outraged that he would be called pathetic, but another part actually agreed with Veillantif, obviously if Kaede couldn't even control her powers then it was no wonder the Divine doubted her. Then again Alphonse was no master of his own art, his fire was much to hard to control and in a way he took the insults meant for Kaede and used them to reprimand himself, he didn't go around throwing things on accident but he had set many things on fire by accident, when Eben had taken the time to comfort Kaede behind him, maybe Al felt slightly guilty for treating her so rudely.

Surprisingly enough it was Gwen that spoke up first, challenging the large Divine with her words, and generally just telling him off. She was right of course they had little to no practice with their powers but being the hard worker that Al was he didn't see that as an excuse, ashamed of himself for his own lack of practice he realized that they all should have been working hard to prefect their skills the moment they received them, that way they wouldn't have insulted Veillantif as they had. Although Alphonse had very much forgotten to be impressed by having three Divine's show themselves and tell them that they were chosen by the goddess for some great calling, he hadn't forgotten that Divine's were meant to be respected and that's why he stood stock strait eyebrows rising into his hair like when Sven called Veillantif a sour puss, right to his face. More then that he watched in horror as they convince then allowed the small girl to hug Veillantif around his mane. Pissing off a divine was a bad idea in the first place, allowing a small defenseless child to then hug a very angry divine was even more so.

Al couldn't pull Frida away from the large Divine, not without either making the child cry or ticking off her big brother. While Alphonse felt that he was strong enough to hold his own he respected Sven, for the most part, and didn't feel like fighting the man under any circumstances he looked sheepish when he spoke to Veillantif, but could do nothing more then give his condolences. "Sorry we displease you so much, but it's not like you have much of a choice in the matter." He surprised himself at the rebellious sarcastic tone of his voice, he still however looked sheepish so maybe Veillantif wouldn't catch on to his sarcasm. His comment however only helped fuel Asherah, as he comment was much the same in nature. Weather or not Veillantif was happy about it he was stuck with them, and they with him, that wasn't going to change any time so so their was no use fighting about it. He listened to Asherah short speak and smiled slightly giving her a curt and respectful nod, he agreed, strait to the point of things and moving onward, he like that.

He ignored Kaede for the most part, just thinking about moving onward at brought him out of his minds reveries. When Tabby interjected, Al had the respect to look sheepish once more bowing his head slightly, of course she was right, Al had thought it rude for Sven to call Veillantif a sour puss it was no wonder they had managed to insult another of the divine, well first impressions had gone horribly wrong, not that Alphonse needed their approval. He liked how Tabby cut to the chase but her little speech... it was a lot to take in and Alphonse felt at a loss for a few moments, but did it really matter, they had to do something in order to save the planet then they had to get moving before the cursed beat them to it. So disregarding the others brashly he replied quickly "Nope, we should get moving right?" Impatient to get the job done and done right Al looked ready to start their journey right there and then, he still hadn't collected his papers from the thatching job but he doubted that matted much anymore this calling was far more important.

He had started disliking forests when he was an hour into their escape from the castle. The forest was dense and offered great coverage but it also created many shadows that put Abe on edge, he expected that any moment another demon creature would come up out of the shadows to fight them, he somehow doubted that the one demon they had would be able to protect them from someone like violet iris. Even the thought of her title sent shivers down his spine, his sparse hair on his neck and arms standing on end. Even this little move of body affecting emotion... his hair grew thicker if only for a few seconds he could feel his body trying to change and he fought it down, at the moment he didn't want to remind himself that he was a freak.

How could he not worry? He had opted to take up the rear as the three walked, forcing Nadira to be in the middle, he didn't trust Rhys with her and would have stood between them in any other situation but the other demons were much more dangerous then Ryhs, weather he was wearing a mask to fool them or weather he was sincere it would be no gain to him if he turned around and killed them now. Besides, he was beginning to believe the demon really had rebelled against the others, Rhys seemed just as nervous, if not more then Abe was, every time he turned his head to cast a look behind their troupe Abe could see the little twinge of fear in his eyes. He was scared of the others for sure, he was probably more sincere then Abe gave him credit for, but if he was honestly trying to help them Abe still couldn't see why.

Now it had been a few hours since they had started their escape, new Abe was seriously considering never stepping foot in a forest again, that was is he ever lived to get the chance. The brush hit and wiped across his skin and clothes, he often had to bend in half to duck under low hanging branches, and he was constantly trying to watch where he stepped, not wanting to leave to much evidence of the path they had taken, not wanting to step on anything left by other animals and not wanting trip like an idiot. However it was hard to watch all these things at once, hence the reason he hated traveling in this forest, he often forgot to watch his head and walked into a branch cursing, and he had already stepped on something soft that had stuck to his shoe, he had yet to investigate it however. It didn't help that his mind had been changed, not only could he change the shape of his body, but his mind was constantly flooded with new senses, animal senses that were still racing through his mind confusing him and making him feel a little light headed. He was growing more accustomed to them but he resisted doing so, get used to them meant that he could never go back to being a normal, un-trusting, teen.

He had just cursed once more pulling his two long hair away from his eyes so he could see again when he nearly bumped into the two ahead of him. Rhys had stopped. Abraham did likewise but then took a step outward to stand beside Nadira rather then behind her. It was a small clearing, big enough to fit the three of them comfortably, the trickling stream near by, the rustle of the wind and the small sounds of wildlife made it seem extremely peaceful but with Rhys constantly looking backward, towards the castle and then other demons that were probably after him, and with Abe's own doubts, he felt less then peaceful. He waited for a few moments but when Rhys didn't immediately say anything Abe sighed quietly. looking over at Nadira more then Rhys "I guess that means we can take a break if we need it." he shot Rhys a disdainful look, that said 'great communication skills' sarcastically. He rolled his eyes and took the time to stretch out his sore protesting legs, and the rest of his body.

He had never been the optimist "So how long before they start after us?" now he was looking at Ryhs his right eye twitching uncontrollable, still not quite foreign or native to Abe, the oddities the eyes created made him forget that his ears now strained to hear like a dogs would. "And is there any plan other then running, running is great and all but eventually something might catch up." it was a breaking comment, it would probably only fuel there unease but he had to say it none the less, there was no sugar coating their situation. They were eventually going to have to fight and where Abe was now he didn't feel like he and Nadira were considered anything close to warriors themselves, and relying on Rhys to protect them didn't sit well with Abe.

The curtain drawn around his bad made certain he wouldn't wake anyone else with his alarm. Teagan flinched and snicked as something tickled him again, chocolate brown eyes searched for the source on his back, little Grecian had apparently escape from her cage again. Teagan giggled and pulled his arm around his bag to snag her and he lifted her to his own face. "Bad Grecian, what would the others do if they found you out of your cage?" he didn't baby talk her like girls did but he whispered quietly so they others wouldn't here, giving her a stern look. Looking around most of his dorm mates had already left, their were a few stranglers, but they looked on their way out. A few others were even still asleep, but Teagan knew they didn't have early classes. Finally getting anxious to go he stood up from his four-post bed moving the curtain as he went. He stood at his full height stretching upward, only wearing his boxers; yeah the ladies loved him. He blinked tiredly a few more times before reaching for the top of his head to reluctantly remove a certain spider. She flailed her eight limbs futilely, wanting to stay perched on his head. "Sorry Grech, but you know what happened last time I took you with me to charms. You have to stay here, at least until lunch." He busied himself getting ready, throwing on a bright yellow long sleeve sweater, and some dark wash jeans. Looking begrudgingly at the robes in his trunk. He glared at them for a bit before conceding that doing so wouldn't make them any less horrible. He donned the robes over his clothes before stumbling into the bathroom. he tried hazardously to pull his hair down from it's near standing mess above his head, that's what he got for showering before bed. he rubbed his still tired face, moving his slightly tan skin with calloused hands that sported dirty fingernails. finally peering out between his short stubby fingers at himself. He grabbed his things before heading out of the dorms to grab some breakfast. He had taken a little longer then he would have liked, he would have just enough time to sit down and eat quickly before getting to class. He headed upwards towards the common room, and came out to see two younger students causing a ruccus, the two younger students were sixth years and they were fighting over something pointless as they usually do. one of them forgot the notes or something and they were telling each other to run back and get them, really, they fight about really pointless crap. Teagan looked between the two before making a random selection, "Alright Peter, go get the notes."

"But he-" teagan pushed him insistantly,

"March!" he smiled good naturedly all the while and Peter rolled his eyes before marching back down the sixth year tunnel, Teagan followed for good measure, ignoring the immature Robin that stuck his tongue out at his friend. They came into the sixth year room and Teagan waited while Peter fetched his notes, meanwhile Teagan spotted a certain blond sixth year snoozing when he should have been on his way already, Teagan was pretty sure Demetrius was in class with the two bafoons that had been arguing. Peter left as soon as he got the notes and Teagan took the task of waking Dem by pulled back the curtain fast and crawling his own fingers across the sleeping boys shoulder, "Hey Dem, how did Grecian get on your arm?" he asked loudly, it was cruel, but it could have been worse, he could have actually put Grecian on him.
