A feminine hand shielded warm brown eyes from the bright rays sun. As the little amount of shade momentarily protected her eyes, it was much easier to see what this Kiyoshi Resort, Lady Hinata had sent them to had to offer. The chocolate colored hues traveled from left to right, carefully taking in the new and rather amusing environment. When dear Granny Hinata has said this place was nice, she really did mean it was nice. The calm blue skies, big puffy white clouds, the awesome and lively beaches, not to mention the five star resort she and her Hinata Dorm roommates were currently standing in front of with all their belongings by their side. This place really did have it all, her heart pulsed with excitement as a bright smile appeared on Kishi Atsuko's face. This was much different from Kanagawa, their home was peaceful and silent while the Kiyoshi Resort, was well ... full of life ! "Were finally here !" exclaimed the athletic type of the group, her legs were a bit numb from the two hour train ride (though the trip seemed short due to the fact she had snoozed the time away). This numbness that lingered in her limbs wouldn't prevent her from showing her ecstatic emotions "The Kiyoshi Resort better be prepared for the arrival of the lovely Hinata girls" Kishi proudly said finishing her sentence with a giggle or two. From this point summer seemed like it would be full of adventure, it was definitely a vacation worth looking forward to.


Even though Kishi had more fun things to think about, the seventeen year old couldn't help but wonder how the person who had made this vacation possible was doing. Yes, her thoughts were indeed drifting off too the well being of their lovable caretaker, Grandma Hinata. The athletic female's mind wondered off to the day their surprised trip was announced. She was one of the girls who hadn't immiedately begun to squeal with excitement, unlike some of the others she was actually shocked. The memory was still vivid in her head, then again it had happened a day or two ago. Why the unexpected gift? Kishi had asked Lady Hinata after she had instructed the rest of the Hinata Inn girls to start packing upstairs in their separate bedrooms. The older woman simply chuckled lightly as she calmly diverted her stare to the tree branches swaying simultaneously with the the summer wind outside of their window. Kishi have you ever stopped to think this old bag of bones needs just as much adventure as you do? she asked gently. The brunette blinked a few times taking a moment to realize that she had never thoughts of manners that way. It was in fact true, surely Granny Hinata's life grew rather dull after performing the same routines everyday, cooking, cleaning, lecturing, washing, it was all so boring now that she had actually taken time to think about it. I guess so Ms. Atsuko replied in a childish tone with her arms crossed against her chest. Even though Lady Hinata was right, it still didn't feel comfortable that she would be away from them for about two months and a bit more. It was obvious Kishi had grown attached to the adult, she was almost liker her very own grandmother.


Straightening out her kimono the elder prated her thin lips to speak once more Now, now grow up these vacations will both do us good the lady began. Pausing momentarily it seemed to had more to add on, I'll be taking a well deserved break while you ladies will be bonding in paradise, it's not all bad is it dear? Grandma Hinata said using another of her questions that already had an answer to prove her point as usual.I suppose so the young athlete agreed smiling just a tad as her somewhat parent guardian slowly began to make her exit,Go on and pack with the others she waved off. Kishi nodded and went to do as she was told. Her opinion of the trip had quickly flipped to a more positive view. It seemed Lady Hinata had that sort of affect on people, it was a good trait of her's. Running up the old wooden stairs the teen could already see the different things her friends could partake in parties, the beach, and meeting boys !


Suddenly disturbed from her little flashback Kishi began to feel vibration coming from the pocket of her bermuda shorts. Flipping her phone open she had received an odd and puzzling text message from one of her siblings or in this case both her brothers,fghkrlty40db2wq5m1. The teen couldn't help but smile brightly , it was a sure sign her pair of siblings were currently fighting as to who got to find out about her trip to the Kiyoshi Resort first. She could already imagine Kaoru pulling Rui's cell out of his hands will texting then accidently pressing the send button with their 'unique' message inside. That made absolutely no sense >.< , so I'll just pretend that was a normal 'What's up sis?' and reply I'm going good, just got off the trainKishi wrote back with a grin placing her cell back into her pocket. Surely they were intelligent and mature enough to actually take turns using one of their cell phones . Speaking of maturity, Kishi looked back at the only eighteen year old of their bunch " What's next Natsu-senpai?" she asked playfully, she didn't really call Natsumi, senpai all the time. It was just something she could tease her with for being a year older than herself. It was cute how her little nickname meant summer, if only her nicknames had meaning. They usually consisted of bits of her last first or last name. The quicker they all check in and settle down, the faster they could all explore this 'paradise' like Granny had referred to.

Nodding her head it seemed everyone had the same thing on their mind, getting their stuff settled down. Their trip had been a long and rather tiring one, it was a surprise no one had collapsed or complained as of yet. Well Himeka had done some complaining though that was quickly resolved when she persuaded a male stranger to come to her rescue. Quite frankly carrying all of these belongings were starting to take a toll on Kishi's legs and arms too. The female was the first to try to figure out a way to open the door, it would be a rather difficult task due to the fact she had all of these things, none of the other girls would be able to do a thing either. She pushed only to have the door not budge and pulling the handles seemed out of the question. Suddenly an older man in uniform gladly opened the glass door aside Oh right, this place is way too perfect not to have a doorman she thought to herself, smiling at the Kiyoshi employee "Thank you sir" the brunette replied with much gratitude quickly getting hit by a blast of well deserved cool air. Being in an air conditioned environment was quite a refreshing treat after standing under the blazing sun. "Oh God" Kishi sighed dropping her things beside her unable to hold on to such heavy items any longer. Her arms could surely use some rest her while Natsumi checked them all in. Stretching her arms high above herself and closing her eyes shut, she sighed with relief. The inside of the resort was just as attractive as the outside, a new wave of excitement washed through her body as she had suddenly become more eager to explore. Kishi's brown eyes traveled through the elegant lobby she was lucky to have the chance to stand in, everything seemed so nice decorated. No wonder this place attracted so many people, young one's at that.


Speaking of young people it seemed someone was paying close attention to the Hinata Inn group. A teenage boy to be more accurate and it seemed like he held a job at this fine establishment. Her hand sat comfortably on her hip as she innocently tilted her head to side, her chocolate hues studied him from top to bottom. Did he know one of them? Or was possibly interested in something? Suddenly he took a rather unexpected trip to the ground and took a short lobby tree along with him. Well it would be rude to just stand and stare, Kishi had been taught better than that. "Hey, are you alright?" the seventeen year old asked with concern, that was indeed a blush worthy fall. "You know you should be more careful" she giggled brushing off some dirt on his uniform. "I'm Kishi" the athlete proudly introduced as she leaned in a tad closer to his chest "It's a pleasure to meet you, Tanul" she read off of his small name tag. Kishi then stood beside him as she put her finger to her bottom lip indicating she was thinking, curious as to what had this guy acting so strange? It seemed Himeka was directly in their line of view "So you have an eye for my friend, don't you?" she asked teasingly, now things made a lot of sense. Men often seemed to lose control of themselves around the flirty type, nothing new. Actually there was this one time, one of Himeka's male 'fans' had actually sneaked into the house to try to get Himeka to go out with him. Poor guy never even had a chance. "Don't be ashamed, a word of advice your gonna have to be a lot more smooth to get her attention" Kishi reassured the teen. Now most people would be thinking what the heck was she doing starting a conversation with a stranger? But being friendly just came naturally to Kishi. Though don't get any ideas she doesn't just go ahead and talk with anybody, it wasn't like she would go try to be friendly with someone who had the appearance of a creep. This Tanul chracter actually seemed to be pretty nice.

Bring ! ... Bring ! ... Bring ! started the loud alarm clock only to be greeted with absolute silence and no movement. This annoying sound echoed on for a few more minutes until it came to a sudden halt. Still nothing emerged from underneath the large covers on this full sized bed. No grunting, or whining, no signs of life whatsoever. The bright and inviting rays of sunshine shone between the cracks of the curtains, the morning birds chirped excitedly outside on a tree branch, while the gentle spring breeze tapped against the glass window. All early signs that it was time to wake and embrace the beautiful morning that had already begun. Suddenly a long arm emerged from under the sheets as the rest of the body soon appeared as well "It's a new day" the male whispered to himself. Stretching his limbs with a short yawn he reached over for his glasses, without them his environment was basically just a blur of colors. This young lad was none other than Shouji Hayashi, Neverland's very own friendly post man.

A small smile crept unto his lips as he slipped off the comfortable mattress and made his way towards the closed window. He thrust the curtains open immediately washed with a wave of the sun's light, the twenty year old squinted at the sudden change. There was a reason to be in such a content mood today was, Valentine's Day. He knew full well today would be a long one, a multitude of cards and letters would have to be delivered today which would mean constant traveling to and from the post office. It would be hard, but Shouji wouldn't mind due to the fact that he loved his job and all the work that come along with it. You could say being a post man ran through his veins, actually his parents had been part of the business as well. As a boy he had practically grown up in Peter's Shadow Post Office (despite the rumors of ghosts). The greetings, the envelopes, the people they were all worth waking up for. He grabbed a hold of of a nearby towel, walking towards his next location ... the bathroom.

The young adult moaned in despair running his fingers through his green locks, as he looked at his current appearance tired, messy, not to mention slouchy. It didn't look at all with what people around Neverland were used to seeing, neat and tidy. Nothing a nice warm bath couldn't take care of. Stepping out of his royal blue boxers the male began twisting and turning the knobs in the tub until the water temperature was just right. Closing his light green hues shut he began to wonder off, pondering how everything seemed nice and safe, thus far. Unfortunately Shouji had been an accident prone type of person his whole life. As a child he stuck band aids unto different boo boo's more than any one in his class, as a teenager he had received a cast at least four times. Now as an adult the injuries have become more minor, but are still frequent. The tripping, the bumping, it was all endless. No matter how hard he tried to be graceful, his body always seemed to make contact with the ground about two to three times a day. Yes this wasn't normal, but for now this would have to be a constant flaw he would have to deal with.

Fifteen minutes later , Shouji soon found himself fully dressed,properly groomed, and prepared. He already began marching down the small wooden steps leading to the front door. It was unwise to skip out on breakfast, but he could always grab a treat or two in town. Taking a step outside he was face to face with the peaceful Neverland weather, one just had to feel blessed for living in a such a place. While mounting his bicycle he couldn't help but notice a lovely female taking a jog "Morning Shouji" she giggled innocently from across the street as she continued, it was just a simple greeting. A sudden shyness controlled the post man's body as a blush appeared on his cheeks "G-Goodmorning to y-you" he stuttered waving hesitantly suddenly finding it hard to keep his balance. He was rapidly leaning to the side and soon found himself on the solid ground with a loud thud. Luckily the girl was out of sight by now, unable to witness the scene or hear his soft groans of pain. Had this fall decreased his vision? Because for some odd reason he couldn't see. "Oh my glasses" he said slowly rising to his knees, trying to ignore the aches and pains screaming from his body parts. Crawling along the grass he began desperately searching for them. Not paying attention to his surroundings Shouji clanked his head into his very own mail box "Ow" he growled rubbing his head quickly growing frustrated. How had this day gone from wonderful to absolutely dreadful?

Now most people would view this as a struck of bad luck, but this sort of thing was part of Shouji's everyday life. Patting the ground he had finally found the item of importance, with a sigh of relief Shouji slipped his glasses back up the rim of his nose. One the happier note at least he hadn't broken or cracked them. How embarrassing? he mentally complained looking off at the direction the girl had disappeared to, how bad would it have been if she had to came to his side to aid him? Standing back unto his own two feet he dusted of any hints of dirt and a few blades of grass. Shouji Hayashi wouldn't let this little accident rain on his parade, no sir ! Fixing the messenger bag by his side and straightening out his coat he lifted the bike back up, resumed his position, and began to pedal down the street. Living on an island like Neverland didn't require an cars, getting to place to place on a bicycle was just fine and healthy too. Nothing like a bike ride to get one in good shape, Shouji sort of held the body of an athlete but was far from ever being a true one.

The breezed caressed his visage and slightly tousled his hair as he rode swiftly trough town, a few residents said their hello's and received a nod or a bright smile from the male. Shouji would have waved but that would only be asking for another accident, both of his hands were placed firmly upon the handles. He passed by a few familiar locations on his daily route Rundoon Inn,Pixie Cafe,'You Can Fly!' Boutique, and Jolly Roger's Jewelery. Finally he had arrived at his favorite, his home away from home, Peter's Shadow Post Office. Some wonder how he could even step foot into the small office or even have the courage to work there all day. Sure there were myths about this place and believe it or not Shouji was a firm believer. He had never actually had a ghostly encounter, but he had sometimes endured a few weird events. When Shouji grew weary and tired he wouldn't ride back home, instead he would rather rest at his desk. With the piles of envelopes as his pillow and the very jacket on his back as his sheets. Sometimes when the twenty year old was half asleep he could hear faint whispering and the room would suddenly turn ice cold, though as soon as he woke up everything would go back to normal as if nothing had happened. He only told of such things to his assistant, spreading such words to the residents would only bring about fear.

Leaning his means of transportation on a nearby tree he walked towards the post office and unlocked the door. "Hello?" Shouji asked switching on a few lights to illuminate the place, how odd his assistant hadn't arrived yet?Oh my is she sick, lost, maybe even kidnapped? I have to find her he thought beginning to worry taking a glance at the clock he realized he was a tad early than usual. Placing his hand over his racing heart Shouji couldn't help but chuckle at his overeaction, he was such an easily worried person.

Kishi hesitantly waved goodbye as Aura excused herself from the table to be by Natsumi's side back in the lobby. Her hand retreated down to her lap as her brown eyes shifted down to her blurry reflection on the clean surface of the table. Perhaps she should have done the same thing? They were a family after all, they had to stick together. Sort of like a grown mama duck with her little ducklings following closely by her side or like a grown feline with her kittens, alright it was time to end the similes .I shouldn't have let you make decisions ] the brunette looked down at her petite demanding belly. Before continuing to ponder on the situation the athlete looked to her side as Nana-chan posed one of her innocent little questions. Yes, the type of question you couldn't help but smile at because it was just so darn cute. A smile played unto her lips as she quickly reminisced of a few of her very own crushes at that age, in fact it wasn't too far in the past she was fifteen two years ago. "It's not bad to fall under a spell, especially if it's a special one that make's you act different around a certain someone" she replied trying to explain that certain feeling you felt when you were struck with a sudden crush. "If you want to be certain you've fallen under a spell you need to answer these two questions, do you think the person who cast this spell is handsome? And do you feel more nervous then you usually do by just thinking about him?" Kishi asked, at least that's what she experienced during the 'crushing' stage.

The blushing, the constant butterflies in your stomach, the stuttering, and the fact you couldn't get this person's image out of your head. How adorable ? The blond boy across the restaurant may have indeed cast a charming spell over Nanako without even realizing it. Although the group of girls had only been at the Kiyoshi Resort for less that half an our it seemed everyone was changing, actually maturing was a bit of a better word to explain it. It makes one wonder what the rest of the summer would turn out like. "Don't be scared, you never know there might be a happy ending" she reassured softly patting the top of her rose locks. It seemed Kishi couldn't even follow her own advice, instead of one boy constantly popping into her mind there were two ! The handsome and suave Tsumi and the caring and good-looking Tanyl. I-It doesn't mean anything she thought to herself. A masculine voice eased it's way into her mind breaking her from her little trance. "O-Oh" she squeaked softly looking to her side only to be face to face with the waiter she had met not so long ago. Who would have know they would have found each other so soon. "Hi Tanyl" she greeted cheerfully knowing full well poor Nana-chan was having a panic attack. Giving her a sister like hug for comfort, she prepared herself to proudly introduce her little friend "Tanyl I'd like to meet my friend Nanako". Kishi then let go of the young girl and ran her finger down the menu placed in front of themselves " I believe we will be ordering the shrimp scampi with some ice tea" she nodded, hopefully Nana-chan would enjoy the meal. Seafood had always been Kishi's favorite and mixing it in with some pasta just made it all the more irresistible, she had specifically chosen their beverage due to the fact Nanako enjoyed tea. Before the teenage employee had the chance to write down their orders Kishi couldn't help but pose a question "Tanyl are you friends with that young boy?" she asked with curiosity sprinkled all over her tone, the least the brunette could do was figure out his name for Nanako. Maybe that would urge her to get to know more about him?

Chase blinked his light periwinkle eyes a few times as Airi had actually giggled at his rather lame line, watching her brilliant smile made his heart skip a beat. Was that even normal ? It seemed smiling was contagious because one of his own grew on his lips as a slight blush soon accompanied it. "Well y-your welcome, Airi" he replied running his fingers through the back of his locks. It was a sort of habit of his whenever he grew nervous which wasn't very often especially around girls. Though the fact was the female standing in front of him was different from most girls he had encountered before, better yet she was nothing like he had ever seen before.Woah, slow down Chase the teen consoled himself, he had just met her how could be having such immediate odd feelings? The seventeen year old was usually confident and nonchalant, it made no sense that he suddenly felt so timid and uneasy.

Things didn't stay cheerful, Mr. Natsuki was always getting beeped for 'emergencies' down at the hospital. It was so unusual Mrs. Natsuki grew suspicious. The ugly news was revealed, he was having an affair. That night the two yelled and argued. Mr. Natsuki soon entered Hana's bedroom, with a grim look on his visage he softly explained to her that he'd have to go away for a while and to promise to never forget him. Hana bit her lower lip and nodded slightly as he kissed her forehead and gave her a long hug. That would be the last she would hear from him. As a teen Hana had been fully focused on her studies. Being top of her class was most important. She wasn't off giggling over boys like the rest of the girls her age. In fact she was rather timid around them. Maybe the lack of a male figure had some sort of affect on her? Being around guys would make her blush uncontrollably or stutter a bit, hiding behind books looked like the only answer to her problem.
