Lyr sighed, as he leaned against the airplane's window and stared at the clear sky and Italy somewhere under them. He bit his lip, as it was probably the last time he saw this country... Or perhaps he will be able to come back sometime? Whatever it was, he had to say goodbye to it for now anyway - in Japan, there was a lot of stuff waiting for him. Waiting to be done by him, actually, because he doubted his mates from the gang are waiting for him. Who would care about another assassin coming?

Well, they certainly should, as Lyr was probably the youngest and already the best one. And now as he was looking at the sky, he found it pretty ironic. Heaven's certainly not for him anymore. When you devote your life to killing, you should definitely stop believing in God anyway. That's what he did, and it was way easier to deal with everything like that. God... if he'd exist, he'd protect people from Lyr, right? Well, doesn't matter. He looked at his Rolex watch and checked the time. The job had to be done at night, thus he will have some time to sleep and prepare. This job was pretty important - he'd get a lot of money from killing some harmless aristocrats or whatever. Funny how his clients from Japan actually bothered to find him in Italy. “It has to be done, and it has to be as bloody as possible.” Bloody? Well, if that's what his clients wished for, it will be bloody. He got used to get the job done fastly and leaving the place as clean as it was possible, but he didn't mind getting dirty. He just had to remember to get some cheaper clothes on.

                                        “Do you need anything, sir?”

Lyr looked up at the young, pretty stewardess and smiled gently. Girls never really interested him, but perhaps it was better. He obviously enjoyed one-night-stands, but that was it. Relationships? No, it wasn't for him. Who would want to be with an assassin anyway?

“You can get me some champagne.”

He replied and watched her back as she turned around and walked away. His sight stuck on her a**... Damn, it was a nice one. Perhaps she would have some time for him later? Now that he thought about it, doing it in the airplane could be funny. “I should stop being such a sick guy...” he thought and smirked. He was only eighteen after all. In the other hand, he had to enjoy his life and live it as fast as possible. In his job, you could never know when someone will shoot you and you'll visit hell. In the other hand, Satan should thank him for sending so many souls down. Yeah, that was it. Besides, he wasn't scared of death anyway. As they were saying, you couldn't kill if you weren't ready to die.

“There you go, mister. I hope you're enjoying the flight.”

She smiled at him sweetly, as he raised his eyebrow. Was she perhaps trying to flirt with him or something? Well, he did look good, plus it was quite obvious that he was rich. Girls usually only look at money anyway. Take these who get married to 80 year old bastards for an example. But well, Lyr could care less, as he took the champagne from her and smiled again.

“Of course I do, when such pretty ladies are accompanying me.”

He replied and looked up at her. Oh, he was such a smooth-talker, and when he saw how hard she is blushing it just made him smirk more. But well, she eventually left, and he really needed to rest, thus he drank the alcohol and closed his eyes, relaxing and taking a short nap.

A long, kind of annoying sound woke him up. They were landing already? He looked a the window and saw a big, full of Japanese people airport. Yeah, he was here, to steal the last breath of another two people. Lyr stood up and took his luggage, going out of the airplane and looking around. There should be a driver from his gang waiting for him... Aha, there he was, standing next to a long, black limousine. He didn't feel any need to talk with such a guy though, so he just got in, his red eyes shining with excitement. He loved his job and he couldn't help it.

Japan was charming, too. Asian women seemed to be pretty interesting, and all these colors... Yeah, that's what Italy was lacking. He was staring at the buildings and people with a pure interest in his eyes. “I think I'll like it here.” he thought, and a small smirk got on his face.

He arrived at the hotel and got out of the limousine, thanking the driver and getting his luggage in. Someone could do it for him, but he didn't want anyone to touch it, especially when his precious weapon was inside. A lot of different weapons, actually. Lyr simply took the key, refused to get any help and went to his room, throwing his stuff on the floor and closing the door after him. He wasn't tired at all, so instead he got the weapon ready and decided to read a book until it will get dark. He contacted his boss through a text already and got the final permission to kill these two people today.

The evening came faster than he expected, but he could feel the excitement taking him over. “God, I'm such a psycho.” he sighed. Of course it wasn't normal that he was actually enjoying killing people, especially when today he could make them suffer as much as he wanted to. The sole thought about blood everywhere made him grin, as he left the hotel and looked at the motorbike his boss gave him today. It was pretty nice - silver and black, with some red decorative stuff. Oh God, how he loved this color.

He got on and turned the GPS on, as he didn't really know the Tokyo streets yet. He really did like them, though, as he was driving and the colors were passing by. Feeling the nice wind in his red hair was awesome as well, although there was a lot of cars. The mansion was located somewhere outside the downtown, though, so it got easier to drive here. When he finally arrived at the right place, he raised his eyebrow. Damn, it was big. He got off the motorbike and took the weapon with him, wondering if he should kill them with switchblade or military knife. Well, it didn't matter, as he took both. Let's say he'll kill the woman with military knife and man with switchblade... Yep, it was a good plan.

Lyr got surprised when he realized that the doors are open, but well, perhaps they weren't really scared about, let's say, random assassins going into their mansion? Good they weren't. Now where was he supposed to go? Left, right. upstairs? ******** big mansions. He decided to go upstairs, though, checking out every room until he got to their bedroom. They were sleeping already. He bit his lip and approached the bed from the left side. The woman was first to go, it seems. He took the military knife and threw the covers from them, stabbing the woman in her stomach, causing her to wake up and start screaming.

“Ohh, shhh, what if you'll wake the neighbors up?”

He smiled and realized that the man woke up as well. It didn't bug him though, as he got the switchblade in another hand and when the man tried to jump on him he stabbed him in his chest. Not in the heart, though. He'll let them suffer a bit.

(ooc: I'll skip the gore, lawl)

When he was done, the bed was all red and both of them were laying in their own blood. Man on the floor, and woman on the bed. If she wouldn't have her chest and stomach teared apart, she'd look like she would be sleeping. Man, however, was laying on his chest, his face in his own blood. Lyr looked at himself. He was all dirty, but happy.

But then, he heard a scream and sound of someone opening the door. He turned this way automatically, forgetting that he shouldn't. It was dark though, and all he was able to see was some girl, probably around his age, although he wasn't sure. His red eyes were shining like two, red points in the complete darkness.

                                        [********]

She could hear his smooth, yet deep voice as he stood here. He didn't really want to kill her, though. She was just a teen, a kid, even. He just rushed forward and passed by her, running like crazy. He got out of the mansion and ran towards the motorbike, turning it on and simply driving away. He couldn't afford to get caught. If he would, he'd spend rest of his life in jail, selling his cell-mates asses for cigarettes.

When he felt the wind in his hair, he sighed and bit his lower lip nervously. She saw him... but in the other hand, it was dark. He knew his eyes were weird, though. They'd shine and they were freaking red, just like his hair. It was definitely something that she wouldn't forget so easily - shining, red eyes of her parents' murderer. ********! That was the first time he got spotted while killing and it definitely didn't feel right. He just hoped that darkness was enough to hide his face. In the other hand, while running down the stairs, he heard a thump. Perhaps she fainted? Well, doesn't matter.

As he arrived at the right place, he got off the motorbike and looked at himself. Was it good to show himself to Boss like that? Wasn't it, like... inappropriate or something? Because, honestly, everyone always was so clean and pimped out before they decided to visit Boss. Ah, nevermind. Lyr just wanted to report that the job is done and he's going to take few people tomorrow to go and get his payment. Actually, it was quite refreshing to be able to just walk on the street without any weird screams, such as “Hey look, it's that red-eyed b*****d!” and being forced to fight with some random idiots who didn't even know who exactly he was. Yeah, to be honest, Italy started to bug the s**t out of him lately and he was actually relieved that he's in Japan at the moment. Even though his first mission ended up like it did.

He went up to the doors of a big, luxurious building and opened them, going into the darkness of the corridors. He didn't exactly know where his Boss is at, but he didn't mind to look for him. Even though these freaking dark corridors without even one lamp were kind of creepy. But what could possibly beat these two bodies earlier?

Lyr didn't like to get himself dirty. He was usually using guns with a silencer, making sure the distance is big enough so he won't find himself with his victim's brain on his brand new Gucci shoes. Funny how he cared about that, anyway, because let's be honest here - He only started to be so rich after he started to work for that international Mafia organization, gang or whatever they were actually calling them. He was such a stubborn kid back then. In the other hand, he found it seriously weird that he started to do that s**t at age of 15, although he didn't kill by himself back then. They were just... getting him used to it, because his Boss said that he can see Lyr's potential.

When he spotted the stairs, he sighed and climbed up them, realizing that someone is sitting on the floor near the big, brown doors, although the color was questionable in such a crappy light. Or actually, no light at all.

“If it isn't Lyr. You're dirty. You want to face the Boss like that?”

The voice was awfully familiar and he quickly realized it's one of the most popular among his Boss' sluts. Oh well, it's not like she bothered him, even though he never really liked any of them. All of these girls thought that they're loved and admired by his Boss, while they could as well be killed anytime by him.

“And what if I do? Where's his office?”

“Aww, so cold, aren't you? You're standing next to the right doors.”

“What, you got kicked out? How sad.”

He smiled and knocked on the doors, waiting for the approval. When he heard his Boss' voice he went in and closed the doors after him, just to find himself in a luxurious office. Although it was kind of dark in here, because the only lamp on was standing on his Boss' desk, he didn't really mind.

                                        “God damn it, you stink.”

He saw his Boss' disgusted face and couldn't help but smile again. Well, it would be weird if he wouldn't stink after such a murder. His eyes still shined with excitement, although that girl was bugging the living hell out of him.

“I know, I was told to make it dirty, thus I needed to play with the insides a bit. I apologize for my looks, but I just wanted to report that the job is done and I'm getting few men tomorrow to go and take my payment.”

He bowed lightly and wanted to walk out, turning around slowly, when he heard his Boss sighing. He had to turn around again, because his Boss wasn't done with him yet.

“Okay, okay. One more thing, though. You're staying in Japan for now, but did you actually finish all of the schools in Italy? Don't answer me -- I know you didn't. Thus, you're starting a new school year in one week. Did you actually think that I'd let you slip away with this? You're going to work directly under me, and I won't let you work under me without a proper education. If you're ever going to get a higher rank -- bah, you might even succeed this s**t if I'll die -- you have to be educated, don't you think, kid?”

Lyr was staring at him shocked, confused as he felt that he's getting more annoyed with every second. School? In a ******** Japan? His Japanese wasn't bad, which didn't mean he could go to a ******** school. He had to be kidding him. He wanted to say something, but his boss just raised his hand to stop him from talking, said that he's going to inform him about details later and ordered him to go away now, because he's busy. When he wasn't busy at all, and Lyr could see it. Damn this old man was getting on his nerves sometimes. Lyr didn't have much to say now anyway though, so he just got out of the office, all mad and irritated. He and school? This old fart had to be kidding him.

He just got back to the hotel and showered, as the smell would get really bad. He changed into boxers and sat on the bed. Lyr obviously didn't tell his boss that someone saw him, which was quite a reckless decision, but well, nevermind. He just hoped that no one will get to know who assassinated these two people. Because honestly, he started to like Japan. Changing his name, surname and looks wasn't hard - but still, he didn't want to leave. Even though he's going to attend school here, he didn't mind. He's probably going to forget about that girl tomorrow, when he'll receive his millions of dollars anyway. Yeah, why bother? It was dark, she couldn't possibly see anything except his eyes. It will be alright. It had to be alright. He's just going to enjoy himself during these last days of freedom.

Lyr woke up late, as he was pretty tired. His Boss' men were waiting for him already, as he got changed quicky and ran down the stairs, getting into the car and apologizing without any emotions attached. It's not like he had to apologize to them anyway. The whole process of getting his money went quickly and smoothly, which made him feel even better. Knowing that his bank account is getting even bigger he couldn't help but smile. Yeah, this is going to be a fun week.

And it indeed was. But everything that's fun had to come to an end eventually, so week later he found himself in a school uniform, staring at himself in the mirror. No, he definitely wasn't pleased with the current state of things. School? Meh... Of course he had to be educated, but his Boss could get him a private teacher or something, instead of forcing him to finish school in Japan. It was just silly and Lyr didn't like that idea at all. But Boss was still a Boss, and Lyr couldn't oppose him, even though he had chances to succeed him. But that won't be anytime soon anyway, because this old fart was doing good.

But he decided to just have fun in that school. He's going to get a delinquent opinion and ******** schoolgirls. Yeah, that didn't sound bad. He got on his motorbike, turned the GPS on and started driving in the direction of his new jai... school. It looked kind of big and he realized that if he won't hurry he's going to be late. But wasn't being late kind of cool? He wouldn't be able to make it on time during the last school year in Italy, why would he bother here? It was better to get more sleep.

Lyr got off his motorbike and went in, realizing he's not late yet. He found himself being stared at like he would be a clown in a popular circus, but it was quite understandable, as he was a foreigner after all. He went to the office, meet the principal, his new homeroom teacher and went after him to the class. Oh, how he hated the introductions. They were always so lame. But well, guess he had to put up with it, so he just stood before the class and waited for the teacher to calm people down and start bragging, while he's making his big, great entrance. Y, ********, ay.

“Hello, class! I want to welcome all of you in this new school year and introduce our new student, who is... Uh...”

Lyr growled in annoyance, as he just walked in and sighed deeply, standing next to the teacher.

                                        “I'm half-swedish and half-italian.”

He explained, trying to remain as calm as possible. Teacher nodded and started to talk about stuff like his name, while Lyr stared at the people inside of this classroom. Smiling gently and nicely, girls were staring at him like he would be some kind of a model. Yeah, he was always good looking and he knew how to make use out of it.

“Okay, Lyr-kun... But, one more thing. It's forbidden to wear such contact lenses in this school. Also, dying hair is forbidden as well...”

“It's my natural eye and hair color.”

He growled and the teacher frowned. He didn't really pay attention to it, as he started to look around again, observing people's faces. No one seemed to be familiar, except this one girl. He could swear that he saw her somewhere, although he was sure he never spoke to her. And when sunlight hit the classroom and his eyes started to shine like mad again, he realized he's in the same class with the girl whose parents were murdered by him.

His wide smile faded away, as he felt that he's getting nervous. What the hell? What kind of joke this dumb God just pulled on him? Why the ******** he had to stand here, in front of the witness? He surely hoped that she didn't recognize him, although the look on her face told him everything. She was sad, depressed, stressed, and now as she saw his eyes, he was sure she did recognize him. He was doomed. Lyr took his seat at the very end of the class, near the window so he could just stare at it mindlessly. But now, he was thinking what to do. It wasn't good. In fact, he was totally ********. The only thing he had left is killing her... Or threatening. His legs were shaking, as he was thinking about how to threaten her so she wouldn't tell anyone. This school year was going to be a hard one.

This class seemed to last forever, but when he heard the bell, he already knew what he is going to do. He got up fastly and rushed towards her, hearing some whispers, such as “His eyes are scary~” or “What a cute foreigner.” He could care less now, as he grabbed this girl arm and simply dragged her out of the classroom, not even paying attention to her protests or something. She wasn't strong enough anyway. He opened the first doors that he spotted and pushed her to an empty class, panting slowly. Making sure he blocked the way out, he looked up at her.

“First of all, don't scream and don't try to act wild and I'm not going to hurt you. Then, I think I need to make some stuff clear. Since I ended up in one class with you, I'm going to warn you, cutie. If you tell anyone, and I mean it -- anyone about me or about what I did to your parents, I'm going to track you down, lock you up in a some kind of a basement and never let out, got it? Okay, now this one is clear, don't think that if you can get me in Police's hands it's going to be over. I'm not working alone, in fact, I'm a part of a big a** Mafia, so even if they will get me, it won't be hard to break free again. And even if I wouldn't be able to regain my freedom, my men are good at taking revenges. Don't think that we'd let you go to Heaven, though.”

He let out a loud sigh, as he told her everything he wanted to say. Yeah, he thought that this will do, although if she was a stubborn girl, he'd have to probably do something else. Looking at her now, he didn't really want to hurt this girl. She was so young, it would be a shame if she'd lose her life just because she can't keep her mouth shut.

He was looking at her pitiful posture, as she started to scream and finally fell on her knees. What an awful scene it was, wasn't it? Well, it didn't matter. He never actually saw someone crying because of people he killed, but somehow it wouldn't bother him at all.

“And who cares if you do or not? If you will remain silent, I have no reason to hurt you.”

He explained and forced himself to smile gently, shrugging and turning around. Now he had another thing to do, right? People who saw them and heard what she's screaming here would surely think that he tried to rape or beat her up. And even if he wouldn't mind that, it wasn't good for her and honestly, if he wanted to ******** schoolgirls he couldn't start off with a rape, could he?

Lyr went out on the corridor and looked at the shocked faces of people standing nearby. He sighed and took a deep breath.

“It's really not what you all think it is. I was sure I know this girl, but well, instead of talking, she probably wanted to get me in troubles. And I'm not that kind of guy.”

He assured them, as he saw their faces were slowly becoming more calm. Now it was time for a final act and he would be free and clear again. He took few steps towards the girl standing nearby and grabbed her chin, kissing her slowly and softly. He could hear people mumbling and gasping, as he started to laugh in his head. After few seconds he let this girl go, looking down at her with a seductive smile.

                                        “You believe me, right?”

She nodded instantly, touching her lips with her fingertips and blushing madly. God ******** damn it, he needed a cig now. But well, he just smiled widely at them, as people still kind of surprised started to head into their directions and that girl seemed to be too shocked to move. Poor thing... or not. He just shrugged and decided to go out for a cig. Lyr went out of the school as he looked around and inhaled the air deeply. Man, did it really have to be so complicated? He spotted two girls smoking nearby, and as he didn't take his cigs to school, he would as well be fine with these. He didn't smoke much, actually, it was something he did once in few months.

“Hey, mind lending me one of these, cuties?”

Lyr approached them with a nice smile on his face, waiting for any reaction from them. They just looked at him kind of surprised, but well, why wouldn't they give him one? And they even lent him a lighter, so few seconds later he could inhale the smoke and sigh deeply. He didn't plan to stand here like that forever though, so he decided to take a walk since it was a break now anyway. Heading towards the gate, he heard some screams after him, though.

“Wait up, a*****e! Who do you think you are?! Who let you kiss a girl I like and just push Rin-chan around like she would be a dog, huh?!”

He saw a group of 10, maybe a bit more male students going after him. Oh, le sigh. He could predict something like that earlier.

“I don't recall anything like needing a permission to kiss a girl. And what now, b*****d? She doesn't want you to get in her pants anymore, because she can't get me out of her head? Damn man, sucks to be you.”

He replied with an arrogant smile, as he saw they're getting even more annoyed. Oh deng, these girls whole fanclub was after him? And he barely touched these two. How lame.

                                        “Watch your mouth, scum!”

Lyr heard another one screaming and rushing towards him, as the rest of them started to run as well. Not good, was it?

“Don't even try to touch me, you ******** trash!”

And that was all Lyr managed to yell out before someone dealt a fast, yet pretty weak punch right into his stomach. Oh, please. Of course they wouldn't aim at the face, as Lyr was taller than all of them and there was a fair chance of missing. He found himself pissed off now, though. He felt his blood rushing through his veins, his eyes shining dangerously. They looked at him surprised, as no one else dared to punch him.

“I.... I think I told you not to touch me, didn't I? Shall I make it more clear, then?”

He grabbed this surprised guy's collar and pushed him at the tree fiercely, rushing after him and dealing a strong punch in the center of this guy's face. After a few more, perhaps less strong strikes the guy fell on the ground, as Lyr was panting slowly and turned around to the rest of surprised boys.

                                        “Anyone else?!”

They slowly started to back off, staring at their friend laying here in a pool of his own blood.

“No?! Great! Now ******** off and better listen to me next time!”

And basically this is how Lyr ended up in Principal's office for the second time today. This time, it wasn't as friendly as before, though, as this little old guy started to panic that he could as well kill this guy, while he just punched him few times. Lyr knew this dude couldn't die just like that, but he wouldn't share his big knowledge about vital spots in human body with principal. After a whole speech about how fights are forbidden here he got dismissed and was allowed to go back to the class. He didn't really feel like it and to be honest Lyr started to wonder why exactly he is here. His boss wanted him to gain knowledge or test out his combat abilities? Well, nevermind. Lyr sat at his place again and had all these people talking about him around, probably thinking that he can't hear them or something. “I heard he kissed Kyoko-chan!”, “Did you see what he did to Takashi-kun?”, “Look, there's blood on his hands!”, “I still think he's hot...”

Lyr sighed and waited till the end of this ******** day, as he realized that this girl didn't come to class anymore today. Well, that was pretty understandable, wasn't it?

After three days he got worried though. Nervous, stressed and pissed off as well. She was hiding from him. That b***h probably already told Police. He's going to ******** kill her.

“Anyone lives near Rin-chan? She left her stuff at school three days ago and I need someone to give them back to her and let me know why she's not coming. Her mother is not answering...”

He was about to say something like “Of course she's not answering you f*****t, she's ******** dead!” but then he realized that if people didn't know it was probably being kept as a secret and no one was supposed to know. Well, wasn't it a great occasion to check how his dear, cute witness is doing?

                                        “I'll gladly go.”

Lyr stood up before any of her silly friends managed to do it and teacher looked at him carefully. He didn't have any choice but to let Lyr go though, thus he went out of the school and sat on his motorbike. He remembered the way perfectly, so he didn't have many problems with driving this time.

When he arrived, he felt this nostalgic feeling hit him fiercely. He got off his motorbike and went up to the doors, knocking few times and putting on a charming smile. After few minutes of standing here, some older girl opened the doors, asking who he is and what does he want. He tried not to look up at her and make his eyes look like they would be brown in the right light, as he started to explain that he's Erin's classmate and he wants to pass her things and of course ask how she is, because the whole class is worried. The woman didn't look sure as she said that she's going to do it herself, but Lyr was probably pushy enough to get her let him in. Making sure she isn't following him, he went up the stairs following her instructions and knocked on Erin's doors slowly. He didn't plan on waiting here though. He just got out his penknife out of his pocket and opened the doors for himself, going in and closing them after him, so that stupid maid won't bother them even if she'd want to. Unless she got some spare keys.

“Hello, cutie. How's it going? You're alright? Everyone's worried about you, you know~”

He threw her stuff somewhere on the floor, not really interested. Instead, he stared at her all the time.

“So you thought you can run away from me just like that? You've got to be kidding me. You're going to keep coming to school and keep your mouth shut. It's not really a proposition -- take it as an order. And if you won't, remember that I'm always on your back. Perhaps we could get your cute maid involved as well?”

He wasn't really used to threatening people, as he never needed to do so. But damn, now that he started to, he felt that he's not bad at it. Perhaps being in Mafia helped him a bit? Now, as he was looking at this girl's surprised face he bit his lip in amusement and took few steps towards her, pushing her on the bed and pinning her wrists to it. He stood in this position for few seconds and finally decided not to play with her like that for too long, or else she's going to pass out or something. In the other hand, messing with her could be fun, so he bent down a bit and kissed her lips softly, getting off her few seconds later and standing straight again.

“Remember that I won't hurt you as long as you'll do what I told you to do, understood, sweetie?”

No, he wasn't planning on leaving until she'll actually speak to him and assure that she's going to follow his orders. He just leaned against the wall and stared at her. Why did he kiss her anyway? Well, probably to assure her that he's not going to harm her until she'll go against him. She didn't look like someone who would oppose Lyr, though. She actually remind him of a scared, wild animal, but perhaps he should stop thinking about people around like of an animals.

“You know, I had to beat up a guy because of you.”

He said all of sudden, remembering it just now. Was he trying to get into an actual conversation with her? Uh, Lyr didn't even know if that's possible, but probably no. But it was still better than standing here and not saying anything at all. He wanted her to be scared of him, but he didn't want her to think of him like of a some monster... Or was he one? His red eyes shined as sun hit his face again, but he just turned his head away.

Lyr just chuckled when she mentioned that he's really here, but it was probably not necessary to comment on it after what happened later, right? She looked so innocent that he actually started to wonder if it was her first kiss, because if it was, it would be quite funny. In the other hand, for such a girl, losing her first kiss to such a guy would surely suck. But it's not like Lyr really cared about this. She was lucky it was just a simple kiss anyway -- because, let's be honest here -- he didn't even push his tongue in her mouth, and he could as well rape her -- but he didn't. Thus, it was just like nothing happened. Bah, he was even delicate, which was quite unusual when it came to such things. But well, whatever.

When he heard that she was starting to apologize he started to laugh quietly. Of course she didn't finish her sentence, but he found it quite amusing anyway.

“You should apologize to this guy that I've beaten up, though. Just because he liked you he ended up laying under a tree in a pool of his own blood. I think I've punched him too much... I'm sure he won't be able to come to school for some time. Actually, I wonder if he'll ever be able to speak or feel scents again. He won't become a model in the future either, poor thing. He passed out at the end.”

Lyr chuckled and stretched, watching her reaction carefully. He didn't go into the details anyway, but when he was enraged he usually didn't pay attention to what he was doing, especially when it came to fights. He wouldn't kill this guy, although he could. A good assassin could steal your last breath even without any weapons. It was actually quite easy, if you were able to deal blows strong enough right into your opponent's vital spots. But then again, he couldn't possibly kill that guy in school like it would be normal. This Takashi dude learned his lesson anyway, and so did his dumb friends.

If he would go into the details, he'd probably tell her that this guy's nose got broken in few spots and well, his face looked like a bomb would explode on it. His stomach was crushed and he threw up with blood before finally falling to the ground and fainting. Yeah, he'd describe it better, but the sole fact that he'd say it like she was the one responsible for what happened to this guy was enough. She was so fragile it would be a shame to torture her physically, but why not bother her mind a bit? Beating her wouldn't be fun, but teasing seemed to be good enough.

“I don't want to leave yet, thus, I'm going to stay as long as I want to. Do you have any problems with it? Because if you do, we can solve them pretty quickly.”

Lyr smiled widely and observed her for a while. She was really pale and she looked like she wouldn't eat for ages. She also looked very weak, and he bit his lip, wondering for a while. Didn't she have a maid here? It would certainly suck if she'd pass out or drop dead because she wouldn't eat.

“Stay here and don't move, my pretty witness. If you move... Do I really need to repeat it all again?”

He laughed quietly and opened the door, walking down the stairs towards the corridor her maid disappeared in before. He didn't really know why, but he wanted to get that girl to eat. Guilt? No, he never felt guilty. Oh well, whatever. He headed towards the first doors, opening them and checking if there's anyone inside. No one. He looked for this maid for good 10 minutes, finally walking into a right room, which seemed to be Bridget's bedroom. She was sitting on her bed, looking pretty pale and worried. God damn it, what was wrong with all these people? When she heard that the doors are opening she looked up quickly with a spark of hope in her eyes. When she saw Lyr she just sighed in disappointment. Well now, that wasn't too nice, was it? Oh well, doesn't matter.

“I'm sorry to disturb you, miss, but could you please pass me some food? Erin looks really bad and I'm worried that she didn't eat anything for few days now...”

Bridget looked up at him surprised.

“Erin.... Did s-she let you in her room?”

Lyr shrugged and smiled with satisfaction. Oh, of course she didn't...

                                        “I guess.”

He just replied and Bridget got up from her bed, starting to run towards the door. But Lyr was quick enough to block her way out, grabbing her waist tightly.

“Uh-oh, there's no need to get hasty, is there? Remember I only asked for food. There's no need for you to go to her right now. She won't let you in anyway, maid. Know your place.”

He smiled gently, as he looked at this woman's hurt expression. Oh, he felt like such an a*****e right now. In the other hand, wasn't he one anyway? He felt her body relaxing and decided to let her go, following Bridget to the kitchen. He saw a lot of food ready, but none was eaten. Oh, such a sad scene, wasn't it? Well, not for Lyr. Bridget was glaring at him from time to time, but she probably wasn't even suspecting him. How many rich, arrogant and young aristocrats were on this world? A lot. And even if Lyr actually wasn't an aristocrat, he looked like one. Fair enough.

He waited for 20 minutes until she would be done with the meal and took it from her without a word, going up the stairs again. He turned around to see her go away with an expression of a lonely dog and shrugged, going back into Erin's room and laying the plate with food, tea and some random sweets on her desk. He made sure that Bridget wasn't waiting under the room before locking them inside again.

                                        “Eat it.”

He ordered her shortly, sitting on her bed and staring at her without any special emotions attached. Lyr actually started to wonder what should he do next. Even if she'd eat that, she looked so pale... She probably wasn't out since the beginning of the school year. Wait... why did he care? No, he didn't care. It was just that weird feeling. Pity? Something like that. He could always take her out somewhere. But it was too risky to let her sit on his motorbike. If she was suicidal, she could do something silly and kill herself and him as well. And if they'd be out, she could run away from him. Yeah... He could ask one of his men to bring him a car and get his motorbike under the hotel again, but what if she'd run? Maybe he should get her a pretty leash to go with her clothes? When he thought about it he wanted to laugh hysterically. Oh God, how much of humiliation that would be for her. But he just chuckled, holding himself from anything else.

“And after you'll eat everything that's on this plate, you'll get changed. We're going out.”

He added after a while, staring at her with amusement in his eyes. He looked at her like a child would look at his brand new toy that he just got from his father. But this toy was actually... more alive than all these toys that he used to get from "Santa Claus". And pretty broken already. He didn't even know where should he take her, because personally he'd gladly go to a night club. But well, she didn't look like a girl who would enjoy that. Actually, Lyr was sure that she would have more fun in a church than in a night club. Maybe she will nicely tell him where she likes to spend her time? And if she wouldn't, perhaps a gun or a knife would convince her? Yeah, he had to stop by the hotel and get a weapon if he wanted her to remain by his side without trying anything stupid. Penknife would do, but threatening a human with it would made him look like a random thief or rogue, trying to get her to give him her money. And he didn't really need it. He got his money from her family anyway.

Oh yeah. Wasn't it her family who requested him to kill this girl's parents? Now that he thought about it, it seemed to be quite bitchy. In the other hand, no wonder they didn't mind paying him few millions in dollars just to kill two harmless people, if they could gain a lot more. Lyr was almost completely sure that they were after Erin's money and her mansion and even more problems would fall on this girl's head soon. Yeah, it surely did suck to be born as an aristocrat or a very rich person and in such a young age be without anyone to protect you from your own, greedy family and people around. Lyr just sighed and looked up at her again, checking if she's doing what he told her to do.
