Its the year 2024 and evolution has greatly progressed since the caveman. People obviously continued getting smarter, inventing new technologies to further progress themselves and the world. New weapons were created and war continued to ensue repeatedly. At one time, animals were the strongest things on the planet and then came humans. Mutations constantly allowed things to become stronger and smarter then the last species. This was even true among certain humans.....
During the year 2011 some special humans started to develop mutations at the start of puberty. Some humans were cast out of they're families, labelled freaks, others were killed and discriminated against, much like other races in the world. Because of this, most mutants kept they're abilities to themselves in fear of what would happen to them. In 2012 more and more humans started to gain what was called the X-gene, a gene that awoken a mutation in humans that were merely a greater step in the evolutionary chain. Due to this greater outbreak, some scientists wished to investigate how and why this happened in certain humans and not all of them, which lead to mutants being captured and tested on for research. At that time, most mutants stood under the radar, or went into hiding to avoid being tested on and rejected from society.
During the year 2018 a group of bad mutant's decided to band together, cause of their history of how they were treated and more or less for selfish reason's, they band together and decided to come out of hiding and strike out at the humans. At this point they decided that mutants were the superior race and mutants should roam the earth and the humans should step aside. They believed they were better in every possible way and now strive to annihilate human kind.
When the bad mutants stepped forward, the good one's decided to come out and stop them not believing in they're beliefs. Because of this turn of events, the world was alerted of the presence of the mutant race and panicked and went into a state of alarm. In the year 2020 scientists are put into overdrive working on developing weapons to both combat and even kill or detain mutants. In this year advanced weapons are created to combat mutants, and also the cure is created as well. The cure was basically a needle that held contents that can temporarily negate a mutants powers and turn them human, turning off the x-gene. It was very well possibly the scientists greatest and deadliest accomplishment until 2024.
In 2024, even the cure didn't seem to do to well against the mutants that were faster, stronger, and had such fearsome abilities such as magnetism and telekinesis, so the scientists were put to work again creating large androids that were meant to search and destroy mutants. At this time, the good mutants decided that enough was enough and thought diplomacy was in order. So the good guys, known as the X-men, traveled to the white house and talked politics with the President of the united states to come up with some sort of compromise instead of completely annihilating mutants.
When the president agreed, he suggested that the sentinels simply become a sort of special division that handled rogue mutants. He also suggested that all mutants have to register with the government, and tell them there powers. At first, the X-men thought it was crazy at first, but eventually agreed to the terms as long as, the government left whoever registered alone from the hunts. When the president agreed, the X-men were the first to subject to the new laws and encouraged all those in hiding to do the same so that they weren't hunted. It was a small price for a little freedom the X-men believed. That was until the hunts began again and everything went into chaos.
What was a good deal turned into a bad deal within a few months. Mutants everywhere were being attacked and once again mutants had to go into hiding. It seemed that the officials in the government that wanted to take advantage of the mutants registering they're abilities, did and decided to keep the mutants under control if possible. Now the good mutants band together to defend themselves and their fellow brethren, while the bad mutants continue to strive for dominance.
