"As you all know, it was only opportune to have our meeting now, in this peaceful lull of no new black-outs come from earth," Reginald Foster spoke matter-of-factually, as he circled around his table full of butlers. The layout of the table of angels and fallen was pretty segregated, nevertheless, he pretended to not notice their impulses or lack there of any.
As he was about to continue after a pause, one fallen angel let out a snort. He knew immediately that it was none other than his wannabe counterpart, Eric Bane. Wannabe, because everyone insisted they were all too much alike- like true brothers, except Eric was dark-skinned. He was also cocky, independent, and a hooligan-nothing like Reginald Foster at all. It was a complete insult. Though he found him annoying, Reg did not hate him or dislike him too strongly...
Reginald gazed in to eyes quite similar to his own, with a smile that hid his gritted teeth. "Is there something you'd like to say, Eric?"
Eric was about to reply when a knock echoed its way around The Place of Mind, making Reg's face instantly frown with a sigh as he gathered himself out of the room. "You guys stay here, I'll handle our new arrival that Eric obviously knew about," he ended with mild irritation towards the fallen angel. "We will have this meeting, no matter what," he spoke with determination, speeding down the hall, appearing instantly at the door. He took on a very snobbish look as he straightened himself up, checking his reflection in the mirror before composing himself, and plastering a sincere smile on to his face.
Upon opening the door, he instantly recognized the boy before him as a fallen one like himself, and, to his surprise, he was shocked out of saying anything immediately. He recognized the boy's eyes that seemed to be a reflection of Reg's own. Luckily, he had kept the shock out of his face, and was able to cough, and regain better composure as held out his hand, dismissing the unnecessary shock. Though, it could only be natural since the boy was a fallen that had come there only in that century, and not sooner. Reginald wondered if he had escaped hell only just and had received summons to come there...
"Hello young one, allow me to introduce myself. I am Reginald Foster, the owner of this establishment known as the one and only Place of Mind. Come on, we can talk more inside, and I will explain everything. Though for starters, what may your name be my boy?" he asked, placing a hand on the small of his back as a gentle push for him to come inside and out of the dark and fog.
