It is the year 2014, and nothing much has changed. Except for the recent advancement in technology, that is. A scientist by the name of Doctor Leonard Morgans, created the first humanized robot. This robot was special, and that was obvious. It had deadly weapons built into it's machinery, but it was also cleverly disguised as a normal teenager. It was even programmed to act like a teenager, walk like a teenager, move like a teenager, and eat like a teenager! It was, in its self, a life - sized doll. Another thing that made this doll special, was that it was programmed to help fix the Doctor's teenager's problems, sort of as an outside conscience. Each doll is programmed to have a different personality, specified to the person that they're partnered with. Six teenagers are chosen and paired with six dolls. Each new doll owner is given an instruction manual, that includes a little back section for any questions they might have. And there's also a warning. The warning states that the dolls are programmed to attack any other doll or doll owner, except for themselves or their owner, and destroy either the doll and its' owner, or one or the other. Each doll, it says, has it's own special, unique weapon, or uses a unique weapon, which is it's trademark. The dolls begin a war against each other, and will not stop until one is left standing. The Voodoo War has begun !! |

You're Not God And neither am I. But I am pretty close when it comes to this role play. I only ask a few things of you, so please, abide them. Don't whine about my rules, and please READ THEM ALL. If you don't, I'll know. So please, just read and follow, it's nothing they haven't taught you in school. Posting This is where I am the most strict in my rules. A good role player is the only foundation in keeping a role play alive and active. No one wants to have to reply to a forty paragraph post, but no one wants a detail-less post either. Having no details is like having a sandwich, with nothing in between it. Or reading a book and begin left hanging at the end. It's terrible. But having to read, and reply to a monstrous post is terrible also. So we'll have a bit of compromise. I want your posts to be more than two paragraphs. YES your posts MUST be MORE than three paragraphs. Your font must be either size nine, ten, or eleven. I have bad eyesight, DO NOT USE BRIGHT COLORS. On that note, the ONLY thing in your post that should be colored is your SPEECH, THOUGHT, and the DECORATION AROUND IT. Other then that your writing must be a DARK GRAY (#666666) or BLACK. YES, please decorate your posts, NOT TOO ELABORATE OR TOO STAID. Stay in character and DO NOT WRITE JUST TO TAKE UP SPACE. I don't care if it takes you an hour to write three GOOD paragraphs. I DO prefer quality over quantity. Last, but certainly not least, USE SPELL CHECK, GOOGLE, WHATEVER, but I HATE too many wrongly spelled words. WAIT, one more, USE GOOD GRAMMAR! Profiles All right. DO NOT ALTER MY FORMAT IN ANY WAY, unless, of course, it is to change the 'yourcolor' part and add the information needed. DO NOT WHINE ABOUT MY SKELETON. PLEASE, use detail in your profile, it is the basis of your character, it NEEDS detail. Don't make your biographies or personalities too dramatic. I HATE TOO MUCH DRAMA, for example; "My mom died during childbirth now I am abused and raped by my father" or; "Now I have no friends, I sulk and stay in corners and I'm totally emo." <-- THAT IS A HUGE NO NO! I like realistic profiles, a few dramatic things is okay, but really, there is a limit to how much I can handle. To reserve, send me a PM with the name/title of the character you want to reserve. I'll make it easy for you, and tell you that you must have the PM title for a RESERVE, "broken at the seams", and for a PROFILE, "dreams, dreams, dreams." Normally I would tell you to highlight the post, but I hope I won't have to do that. Romance & Violence Obviously I will not tolerate cybering. Also, no killing other characters in this role play without the permission of the owner of the character. On that note, I will NOT tolerate a ******** god, nor an invincible person / doll, nor auto hitting. NO, NO, NO. BIG ******** NO. Romance is a testy subject. Your characters can have sex, if it gets that serious, BUT DO NOT EXPLAIN IT. Please, spare us, I'm sure we've all been through sex-ed. Just make a sexual innuendo or something, but this is the only thing I will ask you to leave the details out of. Kissing, hugging, snuggling, groping, explain it, I could care less (I do expect you to be reasonable and MATURE about those, PLEASE). Violence also has a limit, throwing a few punches, maybe breaking a minor bone or two, that's fine. I'd even be okay with a minor car accident or falling down stairs, or something. But when your characters eternal organs are falling out or you can see their spine through there ripped skin, it's gone to far. MODERATION is key. But please remember that this is a semi - action role play, so violence IS a must, and WILL be included. Extra I'm sure I've bored you enough with all of my rules. Please, do not misconceive my rules, just because they're here doesn't mean you can't enjoy this role play (unless you were expecting something with sex and gore, sorry, I'm not the person you should talk to.) But really, if there were no rules, there would be chaos, and NO chaos is NOT AWESOME. -eye roll- All right. YES, you must follow Gaia's TOS, and MY RULES. Be nice to the fellow role players. OOC must be shown clearly, especially if you use single brackets such as [ this ] or ( this ). Be mature, this isn't a daycare to keep you busy. But have fun with it, it's a leisure thing. The DOLL Girls  ☆ The Seductress / Doll 1 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Sweet One / Boy 1 ☆ ☆ The Seductress has been specifically programmed to prevent teens from having sex. No, she's not a real life sex doll. She may have a sexual personality but sexual urges and feelings were not programmed into her. The Seductress is a very saucy doll and loves to flirt, dress in small and suggestive clothing. She favors lingerie. A lot. She can be a bit demanding at times as well so don't be angry if you find her sleeping in your bed or all over your team mate. Watch where you touch her, her power off button is between her legs so no toching there! ☆ ☆ Username ☆  ☆ The Bubbly One / Doll 2 ☆ ☆ Eighteen ☆ ☆ Bisexual ☆ ☆ The Player / Boy 2 ☆ ☆ The Bubbly One is almost like a small child. Very energetic, happy almost all the time, and likes things that are cute, small, and pink. She's very innocent so when it comes to mature content, she won't know anything about it. Also like a child, she sometimes doesn't cooperate and likes to go off on her own which will result her into getting into trouble. She constantly needs to be watched and given a lot of attention. Even though poking someone in their belly button could be ticklish, for this doll it turns her off, literally. ☆ ☆ system f a i l y e r ☆ ☆ The Quiet One / Doll 3 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Party Animal / Boy 3 ☆ ☆ The Quiet One isn't the one you would find at a wild party or on stage in front of a large audience. She does have a talent when it comes to music but not for everybody else. This doll was programmed to be a conscience to whoever owned her. She always knows what's right and wrong and tries her best to share that talent for others. She's very kind and cares for everybody she meets. If you notice a lovely necklace at the base of her neck then that would happen to be her off button. She doesn't like it when you touch it. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ The HUMAN Boys ☆ The Sweet One / Boy 1 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Seductress / Doll 1 ☆ ☆ The Sweet One is naive. Much too naive for his own good, in fact. His rose-colored glasses are firmly in place over his eyes and he sees everything in the best way possible — like a sweet fairytale. He thinks everyone is nice and that everyone gets a happily ever after. He's got his pretty head way up in the clouds, and his one goal in life is to find his true love. Thinking nothing can touch him and nothing could possibly hurt him has gotten him into trouble before — trouble he narrowly missed. Every girl wants him and every guy envies him. Because of this, not only is he the number one player but he's also got the biggest ego. He goes through girls like he does pants, and he thinks that they should feel lucky because he gave him the chance to be with him — if only for a little while. He's a big jerk who never seems to feel any remorse or any guilt. He thinks that every girl should love him, despite the things he's done to others — and somehow, they still do. He needs someone to show him what his actions do, and deflate his ego a couple of notches, but that he can still have fun. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ ☆ The Party Animal / Boy 3 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Quiet One / Doll 3 ☆ ☆ The Party Animal loves to party it up. He has quite the reputation at school as the guy to go to if you want the latest party buzz — if there's a good party, he knows about it and if he doesn't know about your party, then your party isn't good enough. That doesn't happen often though, he goes to every possible party ever. He doesn't care about stupid things like grades, all he cares about are friends, popularity and having fun. He's failing every class in school, but seemingly, all the teachers have given up on him and trying to teach him. He needs someone to show him that to get somewhere in life you need education. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ The HUMAN Girls ☆ The Bitchy Queen Bee / Girl 1 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Hot Headed One / Doll 4 ☆ ☆ The Bitchy Queen Bee is a b***h, plain and simple. She's the most popular girl in school, not to mention rich. She's spoiled rotten and isn't really afraid to show it to anyone who dares contradict her or tries to order her around. She has quite the silver tongue and never holds back when she uses it. Stubborn as a bull, she needs someone to check her attitude and put her in her place. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ ☆ The Strict One / Girl 2 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Prankster / Doll 5 ☆ ☆ The Strict One is all about rules. You can't do this and you can't do that are her favorite phrases. She's the head disciplinarian and head hall monitor at school. Born with a military commander as a father, and a worrier as a mother she knows that rules are important and they are set for a reason. The kind of girl that follows rules to a "T" any type of mischief at hers or anybody else's expense is simply unacceptable. She needs someone to show her that a little bit of fun here and there is not a sin. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ ☆ The Sporty One / Girl 3 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Lazy One / Doll 6 ☆ ☆ The Sporty One is constantly on the move. Whether it's volleyball, soccer or basketball it really doesn't matter to her. If you name a sport, she's probably on it and on the best team in school too. At home, all she does is practice, run, practice, run and practice more. The bad part about exercising so much, is that she's as thin as a stick. She often forgets to eat, and so she's underweight and suffering from anemia. Obsessive about sports, she needs someone who can calm her down and show her there's more to life than athletics. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ The DOLL Boys ☆ The Hot Headed One / Doll 4 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Bitchy Queen Bee / Girl 1 ☆ ☆ The Hot Headed One is equivalent to a volcano. He's bound to explode at any moment. Don't get him annoyed, mad, or irritated, or else he will blow up at the first person he sees. He does get irritated pretty easily as well. He'll only like you if you're not annoying to him. Scientist programmed him to show those people who think they're on top of the world to realize that not everything is about them. They'd better learn this soon before they're left without any friends. Although he doesn't like to be touched at all, if you somehow get to his lower back then you'll definitely find his off button. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ ☆ The Prankster / Doll 5 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Strict One / Girl 2 ☆ ☆ The Prankster is really sneaky. Be careful where you step, look, or even touch around him. He's a top of the line prankster and can get someone really well. Most of his pranks aren't harmful but a lot of them can be very embarrassing depending on who he plays them on. He's also very funny and likes to joke about things. Scientists created this trickster so people can see the funny side of things and it's okay to laugh at yourself and other things sometimes and to just let loose. Don't get too loose because his off switch it located right between his shoulder blades. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ ☆ The Lazy One / Doll 6 ☆ ☆ Age (17 - 20) ☆ ☆ Sexuality ☆ ☆ The Sporty One / Girl 3 ☆ ☆ The Lazy One shouldn't be expected to go play any sports, go on morning runs, or do anything that requires major consumption of energy. You'll mostly find him sitting in front of a television or computer or even eating, something he likes to do even though he's a doll. He's very laid back and chill. He feels life should be enjoyed at a steady pace and sometimes it's good to just stop and look at life from a slow point of view. He's programmed to have people to stop being so busy and just enjoy themselves as well as exploring new things. Don't worry too much about his off switch even though its in the upper part on the inside of his left arm. ☆ ☆ Username ☆ |

Where should we begin? Begin with your character [humans] getting their doll in a mysterious package. They don't know what it is nor can their parents know. They must hide it somewhere and when they know they're alone, they activate their doll (refer to the instruction manual). They can not have their parents know about their doll so while the doll is "alive", the human must keep them out of their parent's sight. Does the doll and human have to fall in love with each other? Are the dolls eventually going to fall in love? Yes. With their assigned human? No. They don't have to fall in love with their human nor do they have to fall in love with any human. Once dolls realize they can love, it can be with anybody, dolls or humans. Humans can fall in love with each other or their dolls and dolls can fall in love with other dolls or dolls and humans can fall in love. It's encouraged that humans and dolls fall in love but it's not mandatory. Can the dolls eat? Yes. Just like the humans, they do have taste buds and favor and dislike certain foods and drinks. I thought I mentioned this in the manual? Didn't you read it? Can the dolls choose their weapons, or do the doll owners have to? The dolls generally have their weapons with them when they are shipped to their owners. You are free to choose the weapon(s) during the creation of your profile, and you are also recommended to mention the weapon(s) in your post(s). Can I make NPCs to fight my doll or the doll I'm playing? If you and your "owner" have nothing else to do, then yes. You can freely create a scene where you are fighting an NPC doll. BUT! You must ask me first! This cannot be for your starter, because currently in the roleplay, I want these six dolls to be the only ones around, at the moment. Later on, I will allow this, but not currently. Sorry. |
