She takes pride in her name, especially in her second. See why below. Melantho is a form of 'Melanthios', both of which are Greek for 'dark flower'. Pronounced 'mel AN tho', it is a name that strikes fear into the hearts of many who hear it. Cassiopeia is Greek and Latin for 'She whose words excel'. Melantho recieved the name in memory of her great-great-great-great grandmother, the mother of their b*****d and unstable line. It is pronounced 'kass ee o PEE ah' and is a form of Kassiopeia. D'Elven (origin: French). D'Elven, or De Elven as its also known, is from Elven - a town in Brittany, France. It became the family name when Elladora Black married Christian D'Elven, a French wizard.

No one really knows what the colour change indicates, but it never fails to frighten as it only enhances Melantho's dark appearance. Her hair, as her eyes can be, is black, thick and very long. She lacks any essence of compassion, finding pure 'joy' in murder and torture. She is both a masochist and sadist, reveling in giving and receiving pain with an almost primal nature. Many who know her, know her to be almost the essence of evil. She kills without any mercy, not hesitating to use any means - magical or not. She is addicted to sexual activities of any form, and as a pansexual does not hesitate to ******** anyone or thing. Her appetite is never sated, and she will have many sexual partners at a time. People who don't know her struggle to understand why so many people would wish to sleep with her - some assume she uses the imperius curse. While she has been known to do so, as well as rape and allow herself to be raped, Melantho has a sexual essence that many struggle to ignore if they share even the slightest similar sexual appetite to her. Hopelessly devoted to the pureblood supremacy, it is not unusual for her to be likened to her distant cousin, Bellatrix Black-Lestrange. However, it is obvious that she is even more unstable then the avid, devoted follower of Voldemort from the past. With a quick, sly, cunning tongue, Melantho is also a very good liar. Few know how to catch her out, and those are usually her superiors - not that there are many of those. |

As she admired the creation, the wand maker began to provide her with details. "As you can see here, this wand is made of a poplar wood with very little carving. This wood is often a light wand, but not always due to its similarities to human bone. It contains three doxy wings, and you might already be aware of the unmanageable temperament and mean spirit of the doxy? This is obvious in this wand, and it is second only to a wand with basilisk skin." Melantho didn't allow the wand maker to finish. It works wonders for me, this wand, but it has much more potential. I look forward to its release. Do you know what its made out of, Mel?" The wand had finally reached Melantho's chin, and William used it to lift the woman's face and her eyes to his. A whisper escaped her as she responded. "No, but I want to." William smirked, admiring the demure demeanor Melantho often acquired in the bedroom - or wherever else they happened to ********. "Its made out of cypress wood, which is associated with the Greek god of the underworld, Hades. Its power is subtle, suitable for Transfiguration and the Dark Arts. Acromantula web makes up its core - its highly illegal, has been since 1782, because of its affinity with the Dark Arts. Its particularly good with the imperius curse. It also has two flakes of basilisk skin, did you know? Added as a finishing touch to give it that extra boost in the Dark Arts, to make it more deadly. Generally speaking, I own one of the deadliest wands among Death Eaters." Williams smirk grew wider at the soft moan that escaped Melantho as her eyes returned to the wand. Drawing it away slowly, William continued. "When I die, should it be before you, I want you to have this wand Melantho. Unleash its full potential, Make it something so much more terrifying." Melantho's eyes widened, and she returned her visual attention to William, but remained silent. "Would you like to try it now?" With a slight nod, Melantho accepted the smooth wand presented to her, and her long bony fingers settled around it comfortable. Her eyes searched about, as if searching for somewhere to direct the magic, and William's guard remained down. A very, very big mistake. Swiftly, Melantho's naked body was rolling off the bed and her feet were touching the floor. Spinning about before William could realize the danger, the wand was pointed at the mans chest and two words escaped her throat. "Advera Kedavra," a flash of green light filled the room, slowly dispersing as the life fled William. With a smirk much more careless and far more sinister then the one that William wore moments before, Melantho leant over the dead body. "I never did like you anyway," she breathed, a kiss following the still warm lips soon after in her trademark "farewell".
