Halulu has a pretty average frame she stands 5' 4" off the ground and weighs a nice amount, she's by no means fat but she's got a few curves to her. She a pale complexion, and plush green eyes. Her hair is a similar vibrant green with a short stylized cut. Her lashes are long, usually they have mascara on them to darken them up, her lips are full and small. Lola's favorite colour is orange and most of her clothes support the colour. She often wears cherry colured goggles on her head.

Halulu is by no means cowering in her own skin. She's great, and she has no problem with reminding everyone that she is. It's her undeniable ego, her inability to admit when she's wrong, and her overly competitive nature that make her undesirable. She gets under everyone's skin and stays there. She can appear flighty and friendly to the public but no one who really knows the champion like her personality. This mixed with grudges and an unforgiving attitude have pushed those who would like to be close to her away.

A Heartless Passion

Exciting, wonderful, quick, and over. There is no heart to be won, and any game played is played at your expense. Halulu's 'love' is as false. Her relationships are are like explosions, it bright, and loud, and attractive, it's destructive, and then it's over, and all there's left is the broken remains of a heart. She doesn't feel the need to hang around. She's had many lovers, and the ones like her are okay, they leave feeling thrilled, and the ones that thought they could win are left broken. Infamous for her many affairs, the champion doesn't even bother to hind her less then desirable qualities from the press. They're all drawn to her anyways, an everyone loves a little drama.

The Tremble of Insecurity

You'll have to dig deep for this, so deep it might be impossible to find. It's well covered up, hidden under layers and layers of awful personality. The cowering child that is Lola. Slightly afraid of the dark and terrified of being all alone, being promiscuous isn't for fun, it's just a fact of survival. The need for attention, and yet pushing any emotional connection away avoids the pain of the aftermath, she'll never make the mistake she did with her parents. If worse comes to worse, and there's human body to share the sheets with, her pokemon are sufficient enough to keep her from feeling alone.

The life of Halulu began by being born as a half, or how she viewed her twin, Jamie, for the early years of her life. The two of them were inseparable when they were young, and they played and explored together. Often they were teased at bickering like an old married couple, which embarrassed them both, and each hated the comparison. Besides that there was little that conflicted with the two.

It all changed when the two got their first pokemon at ten, they retrieved their first pokemon, and they battled, and that's where it all went downhill. Halulu lost due to match up type, her own Bulbasaur couldn't defeat a Charmander. They traveled together for a time, but they found they wanted the same things, to battle gym leaders and collect badges, it became a competition. The two were discovering the true nature of twins, they were compared to each other, and they wanted to win. Born rivals. So they deliberately settled on different courses, travailing alone. The strain on their bond terrible. Their relationship was severed and born a new, more distant.

By the time they were twelve the Avalanche Twins were becoming just that. Known as the Twins who were taking the Kanto region by storm, they both had defeated the eight gym leaders, and the yearly tournament to determine the Champion was not far away. Both of them were planning to sign up, but their life was put on hold.

Lola and Jamie's parents were dead from a car accident. For nearly seven months the two of them did nothing but stare at the ceiling of their rooms and lash out at anyone who tried to talk to them, Halulu took it especially hard. Jamie was the first to recover. He decided to change paths in memory of his mother, he became a coordinator. He also hoped that this decision would make himself and his sister be closer. But Halulu wouldn't have it. Instead she put down the choice of entering contests, and told him battling was harder. Then she took off to challenge the Johto league, successfully executing the cruelest act in her life against the person she loved most.

She refused to answer James letters along the way, and she literally didn't communicate with him until her return to Kanto a year and a half later when she as fifteen. By now Halulu had a screwed perspective of strength that involved not loving anyone. James had already topped the Contest world and was a famous coordinator, and Halulu stood beside him not long after she took the champion title when she was sixteen, and has held the title for over three years.

As champion Lola was surrounded by people all the time. Power is attractive. There is no doubt about that, and who is more powerful then the champion of the Kanto league? Nobody. Except other champions, maybe. Either way, her beauty and position make her physically desirable by many, and people just love to be in her presence. Halulu has in turn found comfort by being with other people. So much in fact, she can't stand being alone.As a result she either has to sleep with a 'lover', who is constantly changing, there is no such thing as a long term relationship in Lola's world, or she sleeps with one or more of her pokemon.

He's been through everything with her after her tenth birthday, most notably he was the only one to be around for the complete decay of her relationship with James. Razor along with every party pokemon thinks Lola was stupid for pushing her brother away. It's too bad none of them can her that in as many words. Razor considers himself a leader, being first in Halulu's life and all. He enjoys battling the most out of the group. He is also the most aggressive battler, and often is completely reckless.

What's obvious Razer, Stargazor, Solar Wind and China is the two would make good mates, they even like each other in that way, if they bothered to stop and think for a moment.

While technically Starmie has no gender, Stargazer has adopted the title of 'he'. Starmie is the baby of the group in terms of personality, he whines and cries, and dislikes strangers, he stays near Halulu when he's out of his pokeball, and if Starmie's could cling, he would clutch on to her leg. Halulu finds him incredibly cute, and he manages to choke down his insecurities when battling, so he and Lola get along quite wonderfully. Stargazer reflects Halulu's own insecurities with his hate to be alone, and while this reflection does not affect Lola, as she would have to recognize that she felt childish to begin with. Often times, if Halulu cannot not find a bed mate, it's Stargazer she'll sleep with despite his hard uncomfortable form, she enjoys the red pulse that is emitted from the gem. He was second to be obtained, as a Staryu

Solar Wind is the stick in the mud of the group, she's always being a downer on the fun. Her and Razor get along pretty well, Between herself and China are the two to make the other four smarten up. She was third to be caught, and trusts Halulu. She loves Halulu, and her trainer is the only one allowed to ride on her. AU and Mistress stay clear of Solar Wind who won't take any of their nonsense. Stargazer can often be found near Solar Wind for protection from AU specifically, and occasionally Mistress.

AU named after the element Gold for two reasons, the golden coat of his fur as well as gold is a great conductor of electricity. He's definitely the trouble maker of the group, he like spending his time picking on the other pokemon for fun, although generally he stays clear of Solar Wind who tried to burn him to a crisp last time he tried to pull something on her. He loves to play with Mistress, and he considers her his best target, even though he usually gets a taste of his own medicine if he messes with her. The most unruly of her pokemon off and on the battling ground, Halulu has trouble controlling AU, which sometimes annoys her. He was fifth to be caught, before that time he spent most of days frolicking around looking for targets to tease.

Lola actually received China as a gift as a Shiny Dratini after defeating the Kanto league gym leaders, therefore China was the last edition to Lola's party. Held back from evolving into a Dragonite due to Halulu's like of of the graceful Dragonair, and dislike of the shiny coloured Dragonite. China is pretty unattached from the rest of the group's insanity, and often she is the one to settle arguments. China is arguably the most wise of any of Halulu's party of six, and has inherited the least traits from her trainer. China is often brought out as a last resort, as she dislikes battling the most out of Lola's party, and while Halulu is cruel to people, she honers her pokemon.

Shi waited for the princess to respond. There were minutes of silence, and she started to squirm, she needed to leave now if this was going to work, "Look, Kayoko. I know you're worried, but I owe you. Plus you know I'll be okay, I was okay before I met you." "No, you weren't. You don't owe me, I did because I wanted to." The bells chimed seven at night, and Shi couldn't wait any longer, "I need to leave. They'll find the body soon enough-" She was cut off as the princess clung to her, burring her head in Shi's shirt. She could hear heavy sobs of crying, Shi was five years older then the princess, better controlled, but the princess crying caused tears to leak from her eyes and slide down the smooth flawless skin of a Nilixie.

The princess was like a little sister to her. Four years ago, when she was seventeen and her highness was thirteen, they met. The Emperor had been in rein for six years, and he was a clever man, he would have to be to stay in government longer then a few years. He had won over his nobles at the beginning, giving them tournaments and other ways to display strength without ripping chunks out of each other and to keep them occupied from ripping chunks out of him. But, he still had yet to win the majority of commoners over.

Shi was brought to the crown by a human merchant in hopes of getting her prosecuted for theft. He would have succeeded, as she had stolen, it was how you lived if you were a street rat, if not for the princess. Shi couldn't recall the process as well as she would have liked. She remembered Kayoko claiming that she was her servant, and she had to take responsibility, and she would pay the merchant a great deal of money. More or less buying him off. The Emperor was skeptical, but agreed to allow Shi to become his daughter's personal servant.

Later her highness would reveal to Shi that she told her father that if a half-breed, a scorned race, could become a maid of the princess, there would be at the very least hope placed in every half-breed that managed to survive the civil war, and most likely hope in both humans and Nilixie that they too could have better lives, as a result they would have faith in the new government to bring them to better times. Plus, she was only a girl, so the precious crowned prince would not have a sullied street rat as his servant.

Kana [honorific] - Normally added with -chan, Kana was invented by taking the first syllables of Kaminari Naomi. It was originally a nickname that was used by classmates at the academy when she was younger. Nowadays, it rolls off the tongues of only her siblings. Once in awhile, Kana-sama will be used with comrades who are familiar with her, and it is used to tease her, as she dislikes the childish sound of the name with all but her sibilings.

Nao [honorific]- Casual nickname, often used, it has no particular origin or special use, just one of those nicknames that happen. Mainly it keeps the name Naomi from getting worn out and boring. Naomi doesn't care if someone calls her by this or her full name.

Koumori [sama] - Pronounced kohh-moh-lee, the animal

Chiroptera [honorific]- Pronounced ky-rop-ter-uh, used on ANBU missions as not to give away her name. Most common uses of honorifics, is san, and often an honorific is completely left off. Formalities are not stressed in the middle of a mission. Literally meaning 'hand wing' in Latin, Chiroptera is the name of the order of which bats belong to in scientific classification.

The first thing you'll probably notice about Naomi is her startling blue eyes. They are generally electric blue in broad daylight, though they dim to a stormy gray in shadows. Her eyes are framed by long and dark lashes, making her eyes stand out even more. Her lips are small and full, they often support a scowling look along with the rest of her face. Naomi's nose is small, and crocked, it never set right after being broken a second time. Her black locks are long, they cascade down past her back, they are most often seen tied back in pigtails to keep them out of her way. Her bangs are roughly cut to be wispy and uneven to frame her oval shaped face.

She shot up like a weed when she was younger, standing, and now stands 5' 9" off the ground.
For a Shinobi Nao is dangerously lean, she doesn't have much weight to her, and she's pretty easy to kick around. The only that she's got going for her in Taijutsu is that she knows a lot of weak points on the body and even if she doesn't hit that hard, getting hit is still something you want to avoid. Of course, Naomi had next to no curves, you would need some body fat to get those, at the very least she doesn't have to deal with her breasts getting in the way like some of the heftier women do. The last thing worth noting about her body is the crude scars across her various places. The most noticeable of these are on her stomach.

If you were to sum up the wardrobe of Kaminari Naomi in one word it would be reviling. Not counting her ANBU squad uniform, and her bat inspired mask, chosen for her bat-inspired jutsu. Besides the ANBU uniform, Nao's causal clothes generally lack concealment, in the right places. Her favorite and most worn outfit consist of a black bikini top, very short black shorts, knee high black boots, and a black jacket, usually left unzipped. Her favorite colour is black or could you guess that?

Life begins for Kana as the first child of Hanako Kaminari, the second wife of Aito Kaminari, or her father. The second child for Aito, her half brother being born five years before her. Shuuji was still bitter with his mother's death three years before Naomi was born. He harbored a dislike towards his step-mother, and most definitely his half-sister. The first few years, Kana followed Shuuji around, and he ignored her all together, which only made her follow him around like a lost puppy all the more. Younger siblings always look up to their older siblings at that age.

Shuuji entered the academy when Nao was three, around the time her mother gave birth to a second child, her little brother Tenyuu. Naomi was interested in her younger brother despite Hanako's attempts to steer her away from the great admiration she was begging to show Shuuji. The dislike of step-mother and step-son went both ways, it was obvious Hanako harbored favoritism in her own children. When Naomi was four she began to beg Shuuji to teach her things he was learning at the academy. He refused time and time again.

Koumori no Jutsu
Naomi's signature move, the one that gave her recognition as a Koumori-sama. Developed after studying bats. It involves harboring chakra in her left eye, while it could be done in both it obscures normal vision and takes twice as much chakra to do so, and her left eye has gotten use to seeing the same way. Chakra gathers in her left eye, the chakra becomes so dense it can be seen with the naked eye and has often been describes to look like blue flames. This chakra pules out, bounces off objects and returns to the user's eye, giving them the location of objects, much like a bat's screech would, reviling any physical object in radiance. It easily alerts her of genjutsu, as she'd be seeing the physical world with one eye, and the illusion with the other, although knowing of genjutsu and dispelling it are two different things. She mainly uses it at night, when the human eyes become weak. Nao tries to avoid using the technique for long periods if time, as it drains her Chakra supply at a reasonable rate.

● I've got a mother, who's name in Kandace, and I've got a father, somewhere presumably, I don't even know his name, both my mother and my sister refuse to name him, whenever they refer to him, they just call him him. That or some pretty nasty names, my sister is worse then my mother, she usually calls him all sorts of things I shouldn't repeat. My sister is Yasmine. She's four years older then me, and she doesn't have any ears, not anymore.
● I live with my mom in a small three bedroom house. Yasmine used to live with us, but she moved out, and I still haven't got to visit her apartment! She'll come visit me and mom often enough, but she refuses to allow me to come see her, and mom's to busy to go. The only good thing about Yasmine moving out was I got her old room, which was bigger then mine. I still have to paint the walls, mauve just doesn't work for me.
● I'm attending high school at the moment. I'm in grade eleven or my junior year of high school. I don't know what I'm going to do once I graduate, but I'm working on that, with my grades I could do pretty much anything I wanted, but I have a feeling it'll be music, I have a passion for music.
● Oh yes, I happen to know what I am, a fighter. My sister doesn't know that though, I think she's worked at not having me know. When she lived with us she'd go out and come back and have all sorts of bruises and cuts, she said she got in a fight with some guy. Which is believable if you know my sister, and I think she did get in fights. Just not the ones my mother thinks they are. Yasmine has a pretty specious lifestyle, and I think that's why she tried to keep me away from whatever she was doing.

She had been late getting away. Her parents, her mother and step-father had tried to insist to help her move in, her older step-brother said he'd be damned to help and her half-brother was only ten so he'd be useless to help. Natasha told them all they could stuff it, it was too late for a proper move now, she'd go by herself. She'd bring enough clothes to get her through the week, some supplies, sheets, her laptop, the basic necessities and pick the rest of the stuff up throughout the week. After all there was going to be another girl trying to move in at the same time.

Natasha Sage Terry was hoping to get a roommate who held a passion for sports as she did. She would have hoped for another volleyball member but that was certainly pushing her luck. After all, Tash was going to be on the volleyball, it was like a dream. She had been at the tournament where only the best high school teams go. She was there, shining like a star at the setter's position setting her team up for attacks. She had been captain in her senior year, just a handful months ago. It had been beautiful, granted they didn't win, actually they hadn't gotten very far at all, but that really didn't matter, the thrill of playing among the best was overwhelming. And she had been good, good enough to get a full scholarship to university to play volleyball.

Tash was nervous about only one thing about playing volleyball in university. Her position. Standing 5' 7" off the ground made her taller then average, but she was hurting on height to play volleyball, she always wished she had the reaching height of 5'10" or maybe 5'11" but it hadn't turned out that way. She couldn't be an attacker, you needed the ability to jump and get high above the net. While Tash played setter at a high school level she hoped to maintain the position, and not become a libero. There was nothing wrong with being a libero except the fact the position was often over looked.

She had found the floor she was supposed to be on by this time, and she started to walk down the hallway, watching the numbers count up as she clutched a piece of paper in one hand with her messy writing scrolled on it telling her which number her dorm was. With the other hand she shifted the way her large duffel bag rested on her shoulder causing a strand of dark chocolate coloured hair to fall in her face. Natasha blew on it to try and get it out of her face, but it just swayed and returned to where it was. Her hair was cut just a bit longer then her jaw, her hair line was rough and uneven by design. It was at a length where she could pull it back into a very short ponytail, but it needed to be aided by clips to keep her grown out bangs that just weren't long enough to stay in place by themselves. She had left her hair loose today though, regrettably.

Her hazel eyes rested on the number that appeared to be on her paper. A hand reached out, a shades darker then her usually light creamy coffee colour due to the fact she had been out all summer playing beach volleyball for fun, she knocked twice then her hand went to the door knob. When she opened the door and caught a glimpse of a girl she backed up and closed the door again. She looked at the number on the door then glanced at her paper. There was no mistaking it, this was definitely the dorm she was assigned to. Tash took a deep breath, it wasn't possible, she must have miss judged the face. The perfect dazzling face...

No, there was no about about it, as she opened the door a second time, it was Silver Ryan Alexander sitting on the bed. The side of the dorm that was decorated in her favorite colours. Natasha did the only thing one could do in a situation like this. She swore. "[********. This can't be happening." She walked into the room. It simply wasn't possible, how could she end up with the only person in the world she would rather not see. Childhood friend Sliver. Tash took it back, she didn't care if she ended up with some geek who hated to talk, any person in the world would be better then her current roommate, who probably wasn't going to pleased to see Natasha come into her room. But, Silver didn't know the half of it, and that was the problem.

Natasha sat on the other bed in the room that was bear except for a few white sheets and dropped her two bags on the ground in front of her. She closed her eyes, waiting for someone to tell her she was having a nightmare. Because, she couldn't handle this. University would have been difficult, but nothing she couldn't handle. But, she couldn't deal with this. She couldn't live with the Silver. She couldn't live with the girl she had spent most of her teenage years trying to hate. Trying to forget the very heterosexual cheerleader that made her very homosexual heart beat.

She felt cheated and sick. The woman sat on the train staring out the window she was trying to banish the feeling that was creeping up on her, the feeling of loneliness, a feeling she was used to, but whenever it got this bad she was usually indoors away from people. It was unwilling and unwanted. Her long dark locks fell in front of her face, as leaned over trying not to vomit. She felt a passenger, a man she knew, shift on her left, her head turned and she gave the man a cold glare through long dark lashes over exaggerated with mascara and eyeliner, he hesitated his hand outstretched, the twist in her mouth was uninviting. He sat back in his seat.

Tamaki Sohma went back to trying to keep herself from being sick. Five long years had passed since she had last seen the rest of the Sohma family, and the rat that crawled in her soul was more then ready to meet the rest of the zodiac again, after all, it had never wanted to leave and was the source of the emptiness she felt on a daily basis.

It was had been a miracle she had got away, she had never even heard of a zodiac who tried to run away. She remembered it well, she had been twenty, trapped with Yuuji and had nothing to lose. She left with the clothes on her back and her wallet that had just enough money to get her out of town. She couldn't even pack because someone would be suspicious, considering she left in broad daylight, as that was the only time Yuuji would let her out of his sight, he had other zodiac to deal with that day. When she hadn't turned up at noon, she supposed the Sohma's would have begun to worry. When she didn't turn up by evening she imagined that Yuuji tore up the whole city looking for her. By then she was have been hours away on a train.

Tamaki now knew why no zodiac left the confinement. Some days she wouldn't even notice it, most days it was bearable, and some days the sharp pain of longing for the other zodiac was so bad it immobilized her. She would lay on the floor of her apartment all day, crouched in a ball. She imagined the other zodiac felt a similar feeling because she was missing, but she could guess her's was thirteen times worse seeing as there was thirteen other people in the zodiac. Nothing could fill the emptiness, and god how she tried. Not pain or sex would even dull it and alcohol only made it worse. As a result when Tamaki went to school for four years to earn her master in literature, she had been forced to take every class she could online. That way if she had to lay on the floor and miss a day of lectures every month or so she didn't fail the class.

She had worked at various jobs over the years, often she'd get fired from missing days of work without explanation, it was hard even to work her way to phone in sick when she was curled up on the floor. Tamaki had lived mainly off the income of two books she had written while she was away, both were novels and had done fairly well, but even at that the income for an author was poor. The other reason Tamaki could imagine no one left was that there only ever seemed to be one person who could suppress the memories of whoever was unfortunate enough to discover the Sohma's secret. Two men had discovered hers, but both their lips were sealed, one because he thought it was a nightmare, the other well, that situation was more complicated.

How many times Tamaki thought of going home. But, she knew once she did she would never get away again, alive. Everytime she felt like she couldn't go on like that anymore she conjugated up bitter memories with Yuuji, there was plenty of those and they kept her anchored. The only person who she even kept in contact with was Kazuo, and that was by e-mail. She never told him where she was, no matter how he begged and pleaded. Had he still loved her, and he hadn't, not since the incident, she might have been persuaded. Earlier anyways.

Now Tamaki was on her way home, for two reasons. One, the immobilizing loneliness had escalated over the years. The past year she would be one the floor from three to five days every two weeks, and she knew her body was reaching the limit. Two, Kazuo had told her Yuuji was in ailing health. While Yuuji must've always been sick, this time was different because Kazuo bothered to tell her Yuuji was sick. She knew she had to come home. Yuuji might kill her, but on the brightside it would put her out of her misery quickly.

When the train arrived she took a cab to the Sohma's estate. She heaved her backpack on one should as she got out paying the cab driver. The only thing she had in her bag was clothes, she didn't own that much and she figured she wouldn't even need her clothes by the time today was over. She marched up to the estate, only to be stopped, "Excuse me! You cannot just show up to someone's home! How rude." Tamaki looked down, the woman was even smaller then she was, and probably was a maid the family had hired while Tamaki was away, as she did not recognized the woman. Although someone who knew Tamaki might not recognize her. Her black hair which had only begun to brush her shoulders when she left cascaded down her back. She was wearing mascara, something she never wore before she left, along with low rise jeans that hugged her hips and a boat neck that exposed her shoulders and a good part of her upper chest. On top of that she had gained some weight while she was away, giving her once slim body some fill and noticeable curves. "Oh? It seems I have been forgotten." Her voice rang out, the only thing that hadn't changed.

She shoved her way past the tiny maid and into the house, ignoring the shouts of protest behind her. Unfortunately that drew another maid to her side and between the two maids they tried to drag her out. Tamaki started to curse at them, they were ruining her entrance, which was to go unnoticed until she reached Yuuji's room, she had told no one she was coming. There was a shatter of glass down the hall that brought all three people to attention."Tamaki-san?" Another maid had dropped a plate full of china on the floor, but she didn't seem very concerned with the broken china. Tamaki recognized this maid, one of the few had been rather nice to her. "Hanako." She smiled, "Fantastic, can you get these two off me so I can go see Yuuji-sama? I'm sure he missed me." Hanako looked horrified, "He'll kill you!" Tamaki struggled out of the grip of the two maids and walked down the hall, "That's what I'm hoping."

By then there was quite a few maids out in the hall and as she shoved her way to Yuuji's room to see someone had already beat her there and was guarding the door, "I see they haven't fired you yet, old hag" She told the old head maid, "I see you haven't changed, still as bold as ever. You won't be seeing Yuuji-sama, he doesn't need a disease invested rat." Tamaki looked skeptical, "Have things changed so much that God does not deal with his own zodiac? I find it hard to believe that Yuuji would like you to deny my visit." The old woman started to call her a manner of names, most of them equating to the word 'whore', but got out of the way.

Tamaki opened the sliding door to Yuuji's room, dropping her backpack at the door. She gazed into the dark room, blinking as her eyes tried to adjust to the darkness. "Yuuji-sama?" She called into the darkness taking a step inside, she didn't sound the least bit distressed, if worse came to worse she would dead, but she was confident she could persuade Yuuji to let her live. She had... certain skills that she had not been equipped with before she left, "It's Tamaki." She told him, in case he couldn't figure it out.

Yasmine River stuffed a piece of burnt charcoal into her mouth. Her definition of 'toast' made most people cringe, she liked to toast it until the outside was black. Some people asked if she liked everything cooked until it was black, but she would shake her head, the only thing she liked burnt was her toast. While her reasons for that were never clear, not even to Yasmine herself, but it could have something to do with that fact she emptied what seemed like half a jar of penutbutter on her toast and the only way you could still taste the bread was to make it taste like cardboard.

Between gulping down bites of her breakfast she rummaged through the small fridge of her apartment. Finally she found what she was looking for, a plastic container filled with the leftovers of last night's leftovers. Yasmine took it out and dropped it into her bag. She glanced at her watch.

A bus slowed. It came to a screeching halt in front of a lonely bus stop. The doors creaked open and a nineteen-year-old woman stepped off the bus, fresh snow crunching underneath her red suede boots. The bus closed it's doors and turned around, this was the last stop on the bus route. The surroundings were desolate at the edge of town, not a single soul was around except for the young woman; most people were curled up at home on the cold January day, the sensible ones anyways. Lunette Hood did not fall into the category of sensible, or even sane. She licked her lips, the taste of blood unmistakable, they were cracked and bleeding from the dry and chilling winter air.

Lunette did not seem to mind the cold at all. She was wearing a heavy red coat that cascaded to her knees, and jeans covered her legs. Her hands were jammed into the pockets of her coat, but they were covered in black gloves if you were able to see them. While her coat had a hood, it had been left back and slightly wavy, long locks of mahogany brown hair tumbled down framing her oval face. Her skin was pale and her bright blue eyes peeked out from under long lashes. A white scarf was ties loosely around her neck.

A bitter smile crossed her face. She started to trudge towards the small forest that rested just outside this edge of town. She was not in a very good mood, and she thought it might brighten her day to wonder around in the woods fir a couple of hours. It beat the other option which was to go hunt down some poor sap and make them cry. Actually, Lunette liked that alternative better except for the fact someone might realize it was her good girl cover which she had been playing for years would be blown, and someone would figure out that there was something seriously wrong with her.

Not that Lunette thought that there was wrong with herself, she thought the rest of the world was messed up for not letting her have her fun. The problem with her definition of fun in her perfect world would end up with someone bleeding or even dead. She was a little more then just a little sadistic which made her a little more then just a little psycho.

By now she had made her way into the forest. She walked for quite awhile, getting deeper, softly singing to herself. After about an hour a tune started play. She stopped and fished around in a red bag she brought with her and took out a cherry red cellphone. "Hello?" She asked sweetly as she turned on the cellphone. "Scarlet! This is Sasha. Would you like to go out today?" A woman said on the other end of the phone, using Lunette's ever popular nickname, it was so popular in fact Lunette was sure there were more then a handful of people who didn't know her actual name was Lunette. "Ah, sorry, I have other plans today. Thanks anyways." She said cheerfully. The two said there goodbyes and Lunette hit the end button on her cellphone. "Stupid b***h, I have better things to do." She mumbled as she shoved the cellphone back into her bag.

White knee-high boots with a three-inch heel ground into a gray dusty landscape. "I don't recall asking what you want, just keep digging! And you, Mr. Mechanic make sure that machine keeps working. I don't want the entrance to collapse on us!" The angry voice came from a an average sized brunette, her brown hair tumbled from her head carelessly, natural curls framed her face. Light green eyes peered out from her lashes. She was wearing a strange get-up along with everyone else down in the cavern of Iron Island. She was wearing white boots, a tight gray under suit and a black and white dress over top, and the one thing everyone had in common was a bright yellow stylized 'g' plastered on their chest. "Give us a break Mina, you haven't done anything all day!"

Minato Suzuki, often called Mina glared, "I'm in charge here, and you'll listen to me. Then after this becomes a success I'll be promoted and you'll all have to call me Commander Mercury." Her voice changed when she said this, and it was clear she was day dreaming, her fantasy were cut short with laughing, "Pfft. Don't you think highly of yourself. You think you're on the same level as Commander Mars, Jupiter and Saturn? Get real, you're just a grunt with some seniority." One of her lackeys, and annoying boy called Haru came over. She glared at him ferociously and yelled threats of telling the commanders he wasn't obeying his leader.

The truth was he had pretty much nailed Mina with the hard cold reality. Mina was a grunt with talent and that was about it. She was better then most grunts and she got jobs commanding new recruits and other jobs no one wanted to do. She was a decent trainer but no where near the level of commander. She might have had a better position if she wasn't infamous for screwing up about half of her assignments. Her subordinates would have respected her a little more if she was more successful at the least.

Mina put her hands on her hips and sniffed, offended. "Shut up, Haru. I never asked for your opinion. Just keep digging, I want to get out of here as soon as possible. This cave creeps me out." Around her grunts busied themselves with work, "I'm going to go back to the entrance and make sure the sentries are still working." She wondered away from the masses of people working and started to make her towards the entrance. Two grunts dashed towards her, the sentries. "Mina! A ship just pulled up!" Minato frowned, the newest grunts always got look out duty, and they were always nervous and unsure, "So take care of anyone there. I'll stick around in case they get the better of you." The grunts looked offended and muttered something about how they could take care of it and went to the entrance. Mina stayed near them, mainly because she hated the cave, she didn't think a trainer with any sort of power would make their way to Iron Island.

More then once she's been scolded for not paying attention, and she's gotten herself hurt for the same reason, tripping down the stairs because she wasn't looking. Her anger in hard to flare, she's lazy and often comes off as uncaring. Skipping chores is a usual occurrence for her. Despite Eva's indifference she does care about others and has a sense of justice. She's cleaver and sharp when she wants to be and she likes exploring new things.

Born to the low class society as a peasant, Evalyn never had much money. This meant a simple life like so many other people in the kingdom. Her childhood was rather uneventful for a peasant child, the days spent mucking around in the streets playing silly games. As she got older Eva took interest in the local school, one of the four great schools, there she learned the art of the sword. Going anywhere outside the city was dangerous without the ability to defend yourself. Evalyn's life is about ti change though, when the book of destines lands in her hands.

Kanako was born a normal and healthy baby. There was not much special about her at the time. It wouldn't be until she was five did she start to notice the strange carvings etched into her skin, and she would be unable to read the word until she was eight. When she finally deciphered the hard to read letters she found that 'flawless' was the words that was written across her left lower underarm. She was careful to keep it away from the eyes of others since the one person who had seen it when she was five freaked out and phoned her mother, who promptly told Kana if anyone asked about, it was her absent father's fault.

Only later did she understand that it looked as though someone had carved the letters in, a form of abuse. Other then that the mark had little effect on her for a long time. When she was fourteen it became clear what the words meant. One of her best friends, Haru, saw her arm she began rambling away a story to explain the mark when he pulled up his sleeve. Right there, in the same place as Kana, was 'flawless'. It was perplexing.

Not long after they were walking home together from school when Haru mentioned that he felt as though someone was near. Kanako stopped, and she felt it too, after a moment he looked as though he was in pain when two people appeared challenging them to a spell battle. That was the first time Kana and Haru battled together, but it would not be the last. After that they fought a lot of battles. Kana loved fighting, despite the fact she took the position of the sacrifice and when things went wrong, she would be home from school for a few days. Haru didn't like to see her get hurt, but the fighter always listened to the sacrifice when an order was given, and she gave orders to keep fighting.

To Kana there was nothing like the thrill of fighting. But, that changed. When she was seventeen Haru was in an accident. While his body hadn't been too badly damaged, he suffered from brain injuries. Time would reveal that his ability to speak had been severed. A fighter who couldn't speak couldn't battle. Kanako was devastated, her friend had been hurt and they couldn't battle anymore.
