      One day god and the twelve animals decided that they should spend an entirety together, all but the cat who did not want to live past his lifetime. But, everyone else thought it was a good idea, so they made the promise and they forced the cat to follow. So when they died their spirits bound themselves to a family, where they would be reborn again and again...

      It was said that there was once a family who had been cursed to turn into the animals of the Chinese zodiac when they were weak or hugged by those of the opposite sex, unless that person was also cursed with an animal, and god who ruled the zodiac. It was also told that this curse had been broken and the spirits of the animals and god had left the family and it was true.

      But, the spirits wondered together wanting to spend an eternity together, even the cat, who had been dragged along this far. The thirteen spirits and god found themselves a new host, a new family, the Ikumi family. And they inhabited this family. The family learned to deal with this and became another victim of housing the spirits.

      But, one day word escaped that there was a family with the curse of the Chinese zodiac in their veins. While most did not believe it reached word to another family in japan, the Yamada family, and they believed because they lived in similar circumstances, for sixteen of their own were possessed by spirits of the Western zodiac, nine with normal spirits, three sets of twins to house those spirits nature that appear in two, plus one who ruled over them, the head of the zodiac.

      The Yamada family moved to where the Ikumi family was said to be, in hopes that the two families could work together to break the curse. But, unfortunately those who ruled over the zodiac the head and the god did not want to let go. So they have lived intertwined with the most powerful suppressing the other spirits to keep them bound to the promise they did not make.

          Do you believe in fate? The idea in which something has already been decided, and regardless of what you do, the outcome will be the same? What about if your name had already been chosen for you. Not the name your parents gave you, your true name. The one that's on you somewhere, etched into your skin. The one that binds you to another person you may or may not have met.

          This the reality, there are people who have true names, two and only two people have the same name. The name usually ends with the suffix -less, which means to lack. The person who has the same name as you, well, you're destined fight something called a spell battle with them, you are partners. One of you will be the fighter the other the sacrifice.

          But beware once challenged by another fighter, the challenged fighter must decline or accept. In battles the sacrifice may die, and if you choose to surrender you'll never fight again. But, of course, there are reasons for everything, so why will you battle? Fame, ambition, love, or no reason at all? It rests in your hands.

        Once upon time there were five ordinary girls, who became five extraordinary girls. They were injected with the DNA of endangered animals. They became Tokyo Mew Mew, and they were destined to save the world from the aliens who wanted to take over. Of course they couldn't let that happen this was their earth. That's what the people thought anyways. The Mew Mews found out that the aliens needed the earth because there home was falling apart, people were dying and they were sent back to their ancient home only to find it being destroyed by so called humans. Well, The mews didn't want the aliens to die so they gave them mew aqua, a substance that eliminated pollution. They left to save their people promising to return because they had grown attached to the mews. They never did return. Time passed...

        Tokyo Mew Mew became a legend among the people, both in the human and alien world, but humans did not learn from the past. Humans continued to destroy the earth, the mews were not there to protect it. New aliens came back to check on earth, only to find in shambles. This made them angry, they needed to protect this earth so they started to attack humans. One boy across old research notes on how to create mews. And he knew people needed them more then ever, so he made many mews, and knights, another kind of fighter to help the earth.

        But some of the aliens mew and knights still saw humans as the cause and believed they needed to be eliminated, other mews thought earth and humans were important, and still some mews don't care about the earth or humans and just use their powers for there own personal gain. It's hard to say who is right. Problems were not like how humans like to think of them white and black, but every shade of gray. Which side do you believe is right?
