In the most coldest state of the United States of America the sun had just begone to rise. Although, since winter hasn't ended just yet the sun only rose just over the mountains. High enough it the sky to give the snowy land below some warmth through the clouds. On this snowy ground a pure white wolf walked back to the den site of the Druid wolf pack from the kill pile. Her muzzle however still had some blood from eating meat off a male Elf kill. She held her head up high and had manner of dominance over the other wolves within the den site. As she walked along her tail moved from side to side like her ears do on top of her head. A high streaking sound came from above her and made her look up to see what it could be. An eagle flew over head and headed away from the den site towards the forest. With a twitch of her nose and huff, the white wolf continued on her way. Only this time in a slow tort.

The young female wolf had made it to a den that sat close to middle of the Druid's den site. There she looked around from a moment, listening and smelling the air. For now it seems all was well and went into the den. Inside the den laid another wolf, a Provider from her pack helping her in keeping her two week old pups warm and fed. The wolf inside looked up right away when she came in. With a nod from her head the other wolf got up and made it's way out of her den, saying, "Alphass Rita." Rita watched before going over to her four pups and licking each one of them to reassure the bound between mother and pup. "Please.... Watch over me, Fenrir...." She said slowly to herself and was thinking of her mate who was named by that name.

Bio: Rukia had an older sister but since living in the 78th district was just to hard, her sister abandoned her. In the end Rukia grew up and lived on her own for a long time until she met a boy named Renji Abarai. They became friends and both grew up with other kids like them and became a family to each other. As Rukia got a lot older, both she had Renij went to the Shino Academy in hopes to prove their worth among the noble families. It was about two months after she was at the Academy did she meet Byukuya Kuchiki. She was then immediately graduated and assigned to the 13th Division.

After some time there, Rukia meets a guy named Kaien Shiba who helped her train. Although it was a more normal relationship between her and a superior she was happy. Though that happy time went away when Rukia had to kill a Hollow possessed Kaien. Years had gone by since that day. Now she made many new friends with people from the Human World. One of them being an orange haired guy named Ichigo. Many things had happened since that time both of them met. Like the whole thing with Aizen, which Rukia learned about her sister from Byakuya and why he did what he did. Now all that is in the past as many more years had come and went. Rukia is now a Lieutenant of the 13th Division and is going on quit a lot more mission. Since now there's a new treat out there and also the dealings with people with the Fullbringer powers.

Starting Bio: You grew up with your brother in the city with your mother and father. You were the favorite, just because you were younger. When 119 was discovered you were (10-14), and by the time Rust Lung had came and gone, your family was dead, leaving you to waste away. The loss of your family drove you into a rage. To young understand why you could get sick, and they would die. No matter how much your brother tried, you couldn’t understand. You still refuse to listen to him, choosing from that young age to determine how your own life would go. (23-28 )

My name, that is my real name is Krylancelo D. Finrandi. I grew up with my older brother and our parents in the city. As far back as I could remember of my young childhood I was always my parents' favorite, but that only because I was youngest member of the family. Those days were of a more happier time in my life, at least for a little while. But all those days had almost left me to darkness. When 119 was discovered I was only 10 at the time. At first nothing had changed much, father worked at a military base while mother worked as a science teacher at a high school and we all live happily together. However, all that changed right before my eyes. During the four short years of my childhood became something out of a scary movie that little kids shouldn't watch. At the age of 14 the sickness called Rust Lung had taken away my friends. I had felt so enraged and helpless as our parents died before my very eyes, first was my father, then my mother. Back then, I didn't understand why they had to died while me and my brother live from the Rust Lung sickness. Even now I still don't get everything and the reasons why. Maybe I will some day.

It was some time after the loss of our parents and I had calmed down a little did my brother signed us up as testing volunteers, say something about how we could learn a way to be cured. Much to my dislike of becoming something for testing I went along, but that would of been the last time we see eye to eye. In the end during the many testing from the changes both my older brother and I had come across, I found my abilities over shadow-bending while my older brother had abilities over light-bending. After a long time with almost nothing but testing and more testing was when I started to hate being in that place. It was around that time was when I meet her, Azalie. Out of everyone who tired to calm me from the rage that had build up inside of me, Azalie was the only person who could. Being with her some how calmed my every being which for a time made life where we were being tested a bit better. Then the day I had lost control of myself testing something the scientist must of had but on me. I was never able to recall much of anything before I had lost myself. All I could remember hearing cries of pain and agony all around me. When I had could to my scenes I found myself covered in blood and bodies laying lifeless at me feet and my hand in Azalie's chest. I had killed the only person I had every really opened up to since my family's death. That day became my nightmare I would have for as long as I live. On my 21 birthday I choose to determine how my own life would go and refused to listen to the only family I have left, my brother who want me to join him in the military. Instead I left to fight against the government who only see us people who had live threw the Rust Lung sickness as nothing more then experiments and war-time slaves. Two years had passed since the day I walked away from my older brother and became the leader of the Resistance. My goal is to help people who are being forced by the government. Since then only my older brother knows of my real name. Everyone else calls me by my three nicknames, Orphan, which I gave to myself, Eclipse, and Raven which the people who joined up with me calls me. Though, I told them I just wanted to be call Orphan and nothing more.

Orphen is the main male lead. Fans claim "he comes off as a 'badass' kind of guy", because of his apparent lack of emotions, dedication to finish what he is working on as soon as possible (his eagerness to stop helping people he feels he doesn't have to help), and his 'coldness' towards people he doesn't know. He is partly an anti-hero throughout the entire series. The only time his attitude changes is when the subject of Azalie is brought up. He will do anything for Azalie, as they have quite a history together but Orphen keeps his feelings and the story about Azalie to himself at first, only opening up later in the series. He and Azalie were brought to the school together because it was believed that they possessed a strong amount of magical power within them. This proved correct; Orphen was a magic-prodigy. Orphen eventually becomes the greatest sorcerer in the world. His true name is Krylancelo Finrandi (キリランシェロ・フィンランディ Kiriranshero Finrandi?), and the sorcerers from the Tower of Fang (Hartia, Azalie, Leticia, Childman, and Flameheart) still refer to him like that. In the novels, Orphen is characterized a little differently, more rough, foulmouthed and seemingly unstable than his anime portrayal. He suffers from increasing megalomania and what seems to be a type of dissociative identity disorder in which he sometimes thinks of Krylancelo and Orphen as different people. By the end of the novels, Orphen is living in obscurity on the outskirts of the continent with a daughter called Ratsbane, whose mother is never revealed.

Powers: Have you ever heard of man made storm, well he has it to put it simply. Able to be very agile, ground or in midair, and can do aerobatic stunts that would awe people. He's also able to make gale force winds surround about half the length of his arm or both. As well as surround himself or someone next to him. It helps when in need of a way off a high place or a quick exist. Then there's the burst of air he makes when gets very angry.
Starting Bio: His mother died when he was born and then lost his father at the age of 12 do to the Rust Lung sickness. He lived mostly scared of what was happening around him and his older brother. Even more so of what would become of himself and his older brother. When the change started he was only 14 and people started to become volunteers for testing. His older brother also became a volunteer and soon was never heard or saw again. Living with a family who knew his mother, Mahiro's world became more of a nightmare. He had watch himself become an Air-bender and some Government people taking away his close friend, Azalie.

Now here's something that work with him being all cocky. He's not one to just give up so easily. However he does know his limits. His older brother would often say that being too stubborn won't get you anywhere. But~ it's good to not give up on some things when it don't work out the first time. So in the end he's not a quitter and will never be.

Yo! My name is Maniro D. Atori but since quit a lot had happened in my life I've been going by my nicknames. Okay~ So two of them aren't really nicknames, I just names I gave to myself. The others though, well more or less it's what the people been calling me. One reason could be is that I can easily do street aerobatic stunts, which I learned from my older brother and his friends well growing up. As for my life before I had gotten those names and before what age I am now isn't all that bright. From what I could remember my brother told me was our mother had died giving birth to me. So in the end I only had pictures of what she looked like. I could easily, well now anyway why father loved her so much. My mother was a stunning. Sorry, going off tack here. A yes, our father, well he wasn't a drunk he just wasn't home very much being a scientist for the military and all. In fact, when I was only 3 years old our father was one of the scientist who was working on the discovered element 119. But~ Since I was only 3 I didn't understand any of this science stuff. For a short time it didn't seem anything would change. Then, in December 2023 a world-wide epidemic of a sickness called Rust Lung. On the news, all around me I saw and heard people losing their lives to this disease which I found in my brother's game Gears of War, where the scientists had gotten the name from. Being 12, I didn't know what to think. A sickness off a game made real, just the thought of it made me scared. I had lost count of how many times I stayed away in my bed, to afraid to die. But hey, come on, I was only 12 for crying out loud what was I suppose think at a time like that. Hack, I had even watched my brother and I's father died right before my eyes. I say no kid should have to see something like that at that age. Since then my childhood wasn't the same again.

At the age of 14 my brother had started to show signs of change to put it simply. And not just him either, it seemed almost anyone who were a survivor of the Rust Lung infection had also started to show their own changes. Shortly after scientists started to do testing on volunteers. My older brother thought it'll be a good idea to volunteer himself and had asked a family that knew our mother to watch over me for a time. Some mouths passed and I had gotten letters from him. Then just like that they had stopped. My older brother, my only family I had left was never seen or heard of again. In the end the family that watched over me took me in as one of their own, well kind of. Plus, they had a daughter about my age named Azalie. We became close friends and did a lot together. However, that ended on my 15th birthday. I had just put on a neckless that Azalie had given me when what looked to be people from the Government storming into Azalie's family home. Everything had happened so fast that most of it was a blur to me. All I could recall was being told to run after I had found out that I had the ability to do Air-bending and that Azalie had been taken away to some place. I had sore to myself that day that I'll find Azalie and make those Government people pay for what they did.

If you asked my friends about my personality they would tell you that I'm stubborn. I'm a fierce protector with no fear of putting myself on the line for my band. I had been independent since I was a young pup. As I grew so did my intelligences, which I'm proud of. When needed to be I can teach others I'm no push over. Yet at the same time I can be very loving. If it come to pups I love them and will do everything to diligently watch over them and feed them.

If you asked about my life story I would tell you this I was born to a different Meerkat band that sat to the south of the Zuande's land. Once in awhile when I was still a young pup both the Zuande band and the band I was born to would sometimes meet. Though, a lot of the times things ended in a draw with little fighting. However that was only because both bands had the same number of members. So life for me been about growing up fast and learn all I could. Which made me become an intelligent and independent young pup.

As I grew older I worked my way up the latter to help my mother and father who were the Alpha of the band. Which was very thankful to be, since at the age of one year and half had either killed other members pups or had chased the female's that are going to have pups out. However, when it came to me and my siblings we use to do all kinds of things. Most of which where play or watch the adults at what they do. Although, I took learning before play more. How right I was in doing so. Multiple causes ended in three of my siblings to have been killed by things that would eat a Meerkat. At the age of two years old I was chased out by my mother, but only because a strange male wanted to mate with me. Then, when I could come back I found the band had been attacked by Hyenas and more then once from the smell. The only two who were left were two of my brothers. After a year with them I went off on my own onto Zuande's land in hopes of a new band life. I also hope to work my way up the latter to one day become the Alpha female like my mother was before me.

I forgot to mention I like being the center of attention.

Morning had come again as black hair teenager woke up to a cold December. From in his bed he peeked out the window at the sky which showed there's an overcast today. And from the looks of it this overcast may stay for a while. Besides that the young teen got out of bed and got out his clothes to wear. After he went straight for the small bathroom to take a warm bath. The warm water felt so good to the teen's skin. A few minuets had passed by while stems of hot air filled up the small bathroom. "That felt good." The young teen said as he took a trowel to dry himself off before putting on new clothes on. Right after that went out of the bathroom, out his small room's door and down one fleet of stairs to the main part of the building. Which happens to be where the middle-age couple were.

It's been a few days since they had found Raven passed out outside their small shop and took him in. Since that time he's been helping them running the shop which had all kinds of berries you could think of for sell. Some quick hellos and Raven went to work selling the berries to the people. Most of which from what he could see were not all too happy about the weather this morning. Cold air blew all over the place, thankfully the wind wasn't strong or else the tent use at the front of the shop would of been blown away. Something Raven wasn't too worried about because of his abilities over air. Even the clothes he wore didn't seemed all that warm, but warm enough to keep out the cold. Time seemed to pass by as the sun was higher in the sky trying to shine it's rays through. Raven looked about while putting out some new boxes full of strawberries on a table. "That should be the last of them." He said as he was about walk back inside the shop. He told the couple he was done and went off to walk around the market place.

Hakuoki is an "otome" visual novel game, which means it's aimed at the female
audience. It features a reverse harem, ie: one girl living closely with and
surrounded by men.

The gameplay purely consists of reading text and making dialogue choices.
Think of it as a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure videogame.

There are multiple routes and endings depending on your dialogue choices,
and there are five men you can romance.

Toshizo Hijikata
* Dark hair, long thin ponytail
* Feared and respected, Commander of the Shinsengumi

Souji Okita
* Brown hair, messy and folded at back
* Relaxed and joking

Hajime Saito
* Blue hair, ponytail on his right side

* If no Romance level is high enough, you get Kazama route
