My humble abode ;;
[ Hazel simply adores Oak leaves, which explains why she choose an Oak tree for her den. Her tree is located towards the edge of the pack's main area. This way she can keep a lookout for unwanted guests to their pack, and it gives her solitude from all the little drama that happens in a pack. Unfortunately her brother happens to be located a couple of trees away, not that she minds too much. Hazel enjoys describing her den when the setting is fall time, because that's when the Oak tree truly sparkles with its fluorescent orange, gold, and bright red colors. The tree is located towards the top of a low slope hill, and to her den opening you can see a small set of polished round stones that she gathered over time creating a pathway to her home. The pretty stones take away from her lack of decor outside, meaning she hasn't yet gotten around to making a nice flower bush or a gorgeous garden. The inside wouldn't necessarily be called untidy, but it does reveal most of her. Haze is very earthy and so her house isn't decorated with much human technology, although there are some trinkets she found they are mostly old things, and made of wood. Of course her bed has to be made with none other than her very own Oak leaves, granted there is moss padding underneath it. The leaves are more for her; they help her sleep just as fake glow-in-the-dark stars on the walls would help a child sleep, or so she has observed once before. Speaking of stars, Hazel actually made her own window. It took a whole lot of gnawing but eventually she was able to cut out a medium-sized round and flat on the bottom window.
To imitate humans she even found two strong stick, broke them into the right size, and placed one vertical and once horizontal in the window. Knowing of the cold, Accel also "borrowed" a piece of what was once a quilt, dragged it in mud to make that nice brown color, and using the sticky sap from the Oak tree created blinds, and also for the winter a cover up so that the cold would not blown in. Most nights she likes to keep it open so that she, like the little children, can look out on the stars and count until she sleeps. All of that is listed on the lower level. The second level is more of Hazel's warm den, when the cold becomes too unbearable and she has to head higher for warmth. The stairs leading up, took about four months to scratch and gnaw until they resembled anything like stairs. The one thing that Haze did pride herself on was the unique swirls and symbols she carved onto the sides of the walls leading upward. Her second floor also has a moss and oak leaf rug that she uses to lounge on; it is very similar to her bed. There are also several dead, stuffed mice that she chews on or simply pats around for fun or to pass time. By the end of her playing though she feels sorry for the dead mouse she killed for her enjoyment. Accel is also working on a third floor; however it is taking some more time than usual.
The last level in Hazel's house is the "basement" as she calls it, which is more of a storage room. Since her tree is on a hill, although very small and not so steep hill, nevertheless a hill, she dug into the earth creating an underground, which is not under the tree but rather under the hill. Needless to say there were many cave-ins and times she has to ask her brother to help her out, but eventually she was able to make an average sized room. To help prop up the room Haze has to find at least four logs to keep the roof of the room colliding. This room is more or less Accel's storage room, along with one other main function. Down here is where she keeps personal kill she has obtained, just in case there is a food shortage, or other city things she finds that she enjoys. The other main purpose of this room is for a hideout. The entrance to the lower level is under her bed, after moving a row of tall thin grass. Only a couple of friends and of course her brother know of it. It's just a safety precaution in case someone is trying to attack her. Leading from the back of the low level is an escape route, well tunnel actually. It leads to her "backyard" and right behind a large boulder that is near the thin stream in her "backyard".
Lastly, is Hazel's backyard. That's what she likes to call it but really it's just the descending are of the hill, which is actually much steeper than the front. There isn't much to say except for the small tuffs of grass and leaves. There is a small stream in her backyard, except it doesn't originate there, so it's more of a thin line of water flowing threw her backyard. There are some boulders on the right side of the stream, one being the cover-up to her escape tunnel. The others however are for her leisure. During the summer, when she is off duty she lies about on them, exposing her tummy and absorbing the rays of sunlight threw the trees. ]

Scars I can't forget ;;
[ The main trait in Haze's past is that when she mentions her brother, she means her half-brother. Technically that is what he is; different fathers, but the same mother. All Hazel remembers is that her mother was an average pack member, and her previous spouse was a Beta male of her same pack. The beta male was her half-brother's father. All she knows of him is that he passed away leaving her mother and half-brother in a small time of grieving until her mother mated with a different male in the pack. Hazel's father was, like her currently, a wolf scout. He helped Accel's mother in taking care of her brother, and then granting her another born child; Hazel, and there was another sibling to be born, but it died during birth, however Hazel has no memory of this because her brother kept it from her. Haze grew up knowing her half-brother as her actual brother, which is why she just calls him her brother. Her family was average really, no terrible past, or a bright and rich past either. Just normal. Of course there is a time when the birds must leave the nest. Hazel's brother didn't leave until Haze was ready to leave.
Their mother wanted them to stay and live in their pack and live with them, however Hazel did not want this. She wanted to be just like her father, and become a scout, instead of just another pack member. No openings were available in her mother's pack though, and so she announced she would be leaving, and wherever she went her brother went. It was plain to see he had some letting go issues. There's always one of those in a pack. They left when Hazel was just about a year old, only recently a yearling. Her brother however was a bit more mature, so he helped hunt for food while they searched for a new pack. Accel wouldn't necessarily call them "loners" during the time, but they were without a pack.
It was during that time that Hazel became in contact with her first human. First impressions are important. While her brother was away hunting, Haze took it upon herself to go to the city, just to check it out, and it gave her a chance to improve her agility skills. It was evening time so people were just making it out of work and into their homes, so not many people were out and about partying, except for the one person that Accel met. He was handsome and young, but he held a bottle and was teary eyed. Curious, Hazel approached the man, the man only blinked and then tried to shoo her away by throwing the bottle at her. Alarmed she ran a few yards away, only to approach him again as he began to sit down on a nearby bench.
This time when she came he mistook her for a dog and started talking to her like humans talk to their companions. Apparently he broke up with his girlfriend today, of all days, when he was going to ask her to marry him, and comes into her apartment to find her cheating on him for a guy she worked with. He explained to Hazel how he did what all sad people do, and buy some alcohol to ease the pain. Haze sat on the ground now as he continued explaining how he never liked alcohol and how it didn't make him feel better at all. Accel sat next to the man for many moments as the sun began to sink, it was peaceful. Hazel even lost track of her and became a little alarmed when the man finally looked up from his hands and smiled to no one and then began to pat Haze. She was tensed, but she made no move because she could tell that he was all sobered up now. Then the man just left, and lo and behold her brother happens to growl behind Accel as the man leaves. He scolded her all the way back to their temporary den about how foolish she was and how worried he became.
Hazel's brother had some issue with humans, but Haze never knew why. A few months later Accel and her brother stumbled across a pack, and after several oaths were accepted into the pack Forbidden Moon. Thankfully there was a spot open as a wolf scout, which Hazel eagerly joined, and since she was the fastest, she placed by the Council of Elders, as the Head Wolf Scout. Her brother, since he was a bit bigger than her became a guard, and he went straight to the head because of his age. Thus Haze had to separate from her brother a little by building her own den, of course since he still has ties to her, he choose a den close to her Oak tree. Some things will never change with him. ]
My imprinted nature ;;
[ Under Curiosity you may find a picture of Hazel. That is the main trait with her, along with her down-to-earthiness, but most wolves are like that. However, Haze herself is curious. Curious like a fox. She likes to wander off stalking or chasing something interesting or unique. Often she likes to just roam around the city at night to find new information about things, thus adding to her intellect. Although she is curious she does have more common sense in front of people than her brother, who can be a goofball at times and often forgets how he should act in front of wolves of higher ranking. Accel may sometimes make a smart remark here and there; she is still considered a warm person.
That is why Hazel refers to herself as a Fall person; she is both cold and warm, but mostly warm like the color of the trees. Like her brother though, she is very playful to some friends, defiantly her brother, but mostly just to herself. During Autumn time she tends to get distracted by a pile of leaves and would just jump around in the leaves by herself, entertaining only herself and the squirrels who mock her from up high. Accel does have some jokes up her sleeve but mainly it's her brother who is Mr. Witty. It's noted vaguely that Hazel enjoys her solitude, but make no mistake that she is some wise solitude wolf out in the wild. She enjoys conversing and meeting other wolves, just like the next wolf. It's just that sometimes other wolves just don't seem to get her so she has to be alone. Even her brother doesn't understand all of her.
Since Haze is so energetic, she is by no means shy or inverse. No, she is extroverted and likes to go out and do the adventurous things, which is another reason she became a scout. Also being extroverted, energetic, and earthly it is easy to say that Accel is one hundred percent tom-boy. Even her human form fails to accurately give herself a more lady like figure. Several times when Hazel transformed into her human self, people assume she is male. Not that it matters to wolves; it's hard to tell actually. Because of her less-lady like couture, she often wrestles, or plays, with her brother and some other wolves in the pack. Of course she does know when to stop; not all wolves like physical contact you know.
Occasionally Haze will seem like dim-witted playful bubble, but this is not the case with her. Actually inside she is a great deal more intelligent than several other wolves, and even humans. However she chooses to appear more happy and energetic, that way it gives others an aura of joyfulness. Not to say that she doesn't get sad, but she conceals it and releases it when she is completely alone. The other reason why she dumbs herself down is that she isn't one to brag or flaunt. Accel only prides herself in one of her abilities and that is her speed. You could say she likes to move fast, which is why Scout was perfect for her. The other thing about Hazel is that she detests drama and gossiping with a passion. Sadly she has to be the carrier sometimes of that drama. As a scout it is also her job to be informed of other packs and their leaders and then report it back to her Alphas and Betas. Thus information is spread and others have things to talk about. ]

Like common wolves, Hazel's coat is multi-colored. However the pattern on her coat isn't like others. There are only four main colors on her fur, brown, gray, white, and a dark red. On her back is where most of the gray is until is dies into brown around the joints of her legs. Minus the wide brown band across the middle of her back. Brown dominated her ears and the middle part of her tail as well. The dark red is located on her underbelly, leading to her fluffy chest and snout, along with the underside of her tail. There are only three small regions where white is located, and that is on the ack of her tail and the middle of her snout. Her special markings are two u or v waves, however you look at them on her cheek area. There is an identicle pair of waves on her other side as well. Haze's eyes are an astonishing golden yellow color, which her brother teases her saying they look similar to an owl's. As for the length of her hair, she chooses only her tail and chest area to be coated with locks of fur. The rest she tries to keep short, unless she needs to grow it out in the winter. Nothing special with her nose or tongue, they are average color.
