- "Who, what, who... whhhhhhhoooo."
Alena was still practicing her pronunciations as her fingers traced the table top. She jumped slightly when a voice came through startling her. Yes she knew everyone on board, and that no one was going to hurt her, but still she jumped. It was just a physical reaction that takes place in the body even if the mind is aware that there is no danger. Alena tilted her head upward as some stray black hairs fell onto her face. She gave a smile as her face relaxed seeing it was Romero. After being on Daedalus for this long she had well acquainted herself with Romero's odd, yet very intriguing and unique manners.
"He probably prefers a plethora of polysaccharides per preorder . . . pending purchase."
Alena noticed what he was doing. She didn't realize until now that the sentence she was rehearsing was not only a question, but alliteration as well. Thus it was only fitting that Romero reply with alliteration as well. He came over with a wink as he sat across her. It was comforting to have some company. Daedalus was pretty big as far as space transports go, and the number of crew numbers is very small compared to the planet's population.
"Or maybe just a small boy to run his business."
Alena smiled a gave a little chuckle. She was well aware of the Willy Wonka story. She looked down while her lips pursed together sucking in some air.
"Actually, I was just checking my English pronunciations. My sayings are better, but the way it sounds is a little funny."
Another smile was given to him when she looked up. It was a sheepish smile, no doubt from scathed pride on her speaking, but still a smile. He seemed to get all energetic again, and this alone was enough to perk up Alena and her once diminishing spirit.
"Can I help you with anything? Setting the table? Make a side dish? Solve your problems? Establish world peace? Cure cancer? Whatever you heart desires!"
Romero gave a warming smile and Alena returned one as she smacked the table lightly and got up. Suddenly she felt inspired to add to her cooking. It was too late to change the lasagna, but she would at least add a salad. Next time she might try making a soup. For now though a salad would probably help to not have the dogs set on her when the rest of the crew came.
"Well I'm not sure about the last three things, but yah it would be great to help with a side salad. Thank you very much!"
Her arms stretched a little when she noticed that Mercer had entered the kitchen now with a now empty Oreo bag. Once she stretched and patted her hands on her shorts she looked over to Mercer.
"Hey guys, what's up?"
Once her body stood up naturally again from the stretching she gave a wave to Mercer as he situated himself with a Twinkie even though he just had some Oreos. Alena walked over to the cupboard getting out a bowl for the salad as she replied to Mercer.
"Cooking as you can see, and as most everyone can smell now lasagna. I'm getting a little tired of it, but next time I'll prepare something more exciting. Although I doubt you'll have room for any food at all after those oreos and Twinkies," she teased raising her eyebrows at him and giving a grin.
With the help of Romero Alena began to construct a basic salad. She feared that making anything complicated would attract some, but repeal others as well. It was such a small crew, but even still making food that they would all agree on was a hard task. Sometimes it even felt a little more stressful than sitting in the control room doing check-ups on Daedalus. When Alena looked up she noticed that now Layla had now entered the kitchen. Alena gave a brief hello with a smile and went back to her salad. Every time her neck arched though some hair slipped and fell against her face tickling her cheeks and chin ever so slightly that it was becoming annoying. Yes, after she ate she was definitely going to get a haircut. Alena was now tossing the salad a little when she remembered something. Her music player. She felt foolish all over again for losing it, but it couldn't hurt to ask. Besides the people she was currently asking were not hostile at all, so hopefully they wouldn't scold her for losing it.
"I know this is so random, but ah- have any of you found or seen my music player? I think I may have dropped it somewhere." Alena's neck arched back as she starred upward at nothing in particular, just simple trying to remember when exactly it was that it went missing. Days on Daedalus seemed to all combine into one unity. Now that she was really thinking about it she really couldn't remember the days. "It might have been three give or take a little when I lost it." Time was beginning to seem as a collective, and started giving heavy thoughts on the actual concept of time. Her eyes blinked and she quickly pushed that thought away. Those kinds of thoughts usually bummed her down, and right now she needed to be optimistic about this trip. Otherwise she wouldn't be doing her best as the pilot.

- Red. That's what seemed to cover the sky. To Svix it didn't seem so bad actually. The other races, more specifically the humans, continued to complain of this setting. Anyone who complained in a close enough vacinity of Svix though was made an example of. Sometimes, if Svix's felt like it she would kill them. People wondered if she had a heart, and she would reply no. Exiles physically don't have hearts, but that's besides the point. Svix Una knew what her victims were referring to, and she knew that what they wanted was mercy, and Svix had none for them. The only thing she felt was the need, the craving to annihilate anything that dared to stand against her. Syukoh did not promote her as a general if she wasn't capable of fufilling her job; a job which she fufilled well. Other factors aidded in her promotion. Despite her height, Svix was flexible, and she was able to preform stunts with ease. General Una was indeed a force to be recokoned with. Currently she was located next to her horse as it rested. Svix didn't seem to ever rest, but other creatures and races seemed to need this unnecessary and costly idea. Her fingers reachedand pulled against her biege cloak. Some leagues behind her was her small army that she was granted for the equally small mission she had just accomplished. Now after recieving a letter, she was being called back to Agito for a very important meeting with Syukoh and the other seven generals. The letter was read only by her and was kept on her. It was true that very few would understand the letter, but even still, she wasn't going to have a Resistance member come and obtain it. Starting to feel anxious of waiting in the open, Svix walked over to her horse and from the side of the saddle she produced a brown flask. As an Exile Svix didn't need food or water to survive, but that's not to say that she didn't enjoy a drink of wine. When she finished a reasonable portion she attached the flask back on the side of the saddle. The Exile's blonde hair moved slightly from the breeze of wind that came. The air felt somewhat cool in the early morning, but that was beside the point. The point was that time didn't stop to rest, and Svix would be damned if she was late to that meeting. Her hands pulled at the reins notifing the horse it was time to get up. Besides they weren't but just a few leagues away from Agito. Once the horse was up, Svix held onto the reins and kicked herself off the ground and onto the saddle. Her hood was seccured over her head as she kicked the horse and began to ride with speed. Soon, soon she would be at Agito, and then Le Regius.
The horse had just arrived on the outskits of the city. By now the red hue was more vibrant. Svix slowed the horse as she trotted into the city. Some patrol guards came to question her, but she quickly showed her face and it was no mistaking the general. They allowed her to pass. The population of Agito plumeted when Syukoh took over it, but even still it managed to feel uncomfortably large. Svix looked down from her horse at the inhabitants. Most avoided her, and some turned to gaze at her. Although she was cloaked, Svix was still sligtly noticable, at least in Agito she was. It was the city she had spent the most time in so far. She knew the city, and the city knew her back. If the business of her return wasn't so important, Svix would have lingered in the city longer, but her objective was to get to Le Regius's meeting hall, where no doubt Syukoh was waiting for her and the others. Some would probably already be there, and some were probably on their way like Svix. Her horse continued to trot as people generally avoided the horse, and by the next turn Svix could see the palace. As she drew closer her grip began to ease off the reins. For now she was safe against any opposers, not that she thought anyone could defeat her. When she drew close enough she lifted her slightly for the guards to see who was approaching. Svix slid off he horse with ease and handed the reins to one of the lesser Legioners to take care of.
Once welcomed into the palace, Svix began to unclasp her cloak. Another lesser Legion member came, and would no doubt have it cleaned and sent back to her quartes in the Treasury. Svix Una kept at a regular pace taking in the familiar and classic details of the palace. She didn't have much attachment to any object in particular, but she could still appreciate the elegance all around the palace. Not to mention that even though to Svix it meant little, to others it was a sign or importance, and that alone was well enough for Svix to allow herself to be subject to the decoration. Some of the lesser Exiles bowed their heads as well as acted in several other ways of respect as Svix passed. Some she recognized, and others she did not. The ones she recognized were once subject to her surprise visits and casual questions. Every time one would question her she would leave or make an excuse to leave promptly. Even now as she passed, there were some she could tell that were just begging to get inside her head; eager to know what sort of past she had. She heard the rumors going around that General Una doesn't know of her own past, but she thought that kind of funny. An Exile who knew their own history was extraordinarly rare, and even more rare was one to speak of it. It made her scoff to think that Exiles accused her of a lack of memory, when they themselves had no more a clue to thier own past. And perhaps Svix did know her past, and perhaps she didn't. She wasn't at liberty to speak of it, nor did she think she ever would. Those types of thoughts though were for a later, and much more private time. Her thoughts had actually carried her pretty far without her actually focusing on it. She stopped looking out a window directly next to her. Funny how outside it seemed clear and pretty. Flowers were blooming and soaking up what Svix knew to be artificial light. The palace was enchanted, so although the outside contained a reddish hue, inside the palace the sky looked crystal clear. One of her hands came and touched the window as her nails clinked against the glass. It was truly striking what some magic was capable of. Svix peered through the glass studying the flowers. What she was thinking of, no one knew. Finally with a small frown and strict eyes she tapped the window pane once and continued to the meeting hall. Judging by the sun's position when she was outside she wasn't too terribly late. In fact she fancied that she was either on time, or maybe if she was lucky, perhaps even early to this meeting.

- The heat rising from Charles's face and through his mask should have been seen by everyone. To him practically the whole room was filled with nothing but his steam. On the other side though all anyone could see was a handsome prince with a beautiful, but deadly princess. That and probably the feather coming from his hat. It did begin to feel obnoxious, but what are princes besides just well-groomed peacocks? Besides, his costume wasn't half as atrocious as all the other filthy mudbloods in the room. Oh yes, Charles was referring to most of the population as filth. Why? Because right now blaming them felt really good and seemed to take away from the blood-shot red color that seemed to cover this entire room. Charles had snapped. It was one thing for Milo to find a date, but it was something completely else to choose Antonio. The whole school buzzed about how they were perfect for each other. Charles couldn't stand it. A couple, maybe, but perfect? Not a chance in hell. Charles was not about to let himself be up showed by a bloody Gryffindor. Despite his cool and humorous mask he posed to everyone, Charles was in Slytherin for a reason. Antonio didn't deserve Milo at all. For Milo to choose Antonio after being with Charles was an insult. He did want Milo to be happy and all, but Charles was convinced that Antonio couldn't bring it. In fact the only vibe that Charles was getting was that Antonio was using this as an excuse to boost his ego. Self-righteous p***k. A p***k that desperately needed a lesson taught to him; before Charles could get worked up a cool hand interrupted his flow of thought and dance with Char.
"I need to talk to you… please. Don’t run away from me. Charlotte can wait for a few minutes so don’t even try to make up an excuse."
Charles had no intentions of running away. Instead he willingly allowed himself to be latched onto Milo. It seemed to bring back memories, and it was close enough to holding hands. The reason though why he was so comfortable with this wasn't because he had any romantic feelings for Milo, currently his romantic feelings were locked away for they weren't needed for a girl who had an interest in someone else, but for the fact that he knew somewhere the little rat Antonio was hiding and watching. Milo took him to the hallway and it almost felt like Milo was acting like a mother scolding her child. Charles couldn't help but smirk at this. He leaned against the nearest structure and looked at Milo raising his eyebrows that she probably couldn't see due to his mask. Shrugging his hands into his pockets, while avoiding his sword, he looked at her with a teasing face. She was much too serious right now.
"What? You can't expect me to waltz over there to Tony and beg for forgiveness on a crime he had committed."
Charles then fixed his posture as he began to take a few steps.
"In fact, I say he was being rather reckless. He could have injured you, you know? Not all Slytherins can deal being targeted by a Gryffindor you know. I let him go for you. Any
other person in my house would have dueled him, and I should have as well, but you mean so much to me Milo."He stopped pacing right in front of her. Charles was reminded how short Milo was compared to him. She was so feisty and cute; a real pity things just didn't click when they were together. Still they were much better off as friends. Charles placed a hand on Milo looking at her with his misty hazel eyes.
"I care about you Milo because you're one of my best buds. That's why I just can't bear to see you with Antonio. He's not- he's not good enough for you, can't you see? He'll hurt you, I know he will, and I don't want to see that happen."
Charles fingered her hair a bit and then in one swift movement he embraced her arching his back a bit to give her a full hug. His morals and fear that someone would take it the wrong way is what prevented him from doing something worse like kissing her, but this embrace was surely enough to provoke Antonio from his hiding place and show his ugly rat face. Charles was betting on it. He wanted Antonio to get upset and take the bait. Just one excuse to punch his day lights out was all Charles wanted. That is if Milo didn't punch him in the next 2.4 seconds. Hopefully nothing would interrupt this plan, but sometimes plans don't always go according to plan because somewhere in the Great Hall, Cecilia was drunk and in need, and Charles was stuck
holding onto Milo waiting for his adversary.

Judging by the sun's position when she was outside she wasn't too terribly late. In fact she fancied that she was either on time, or maybe if she was lucky, perhaps even early to this meeting.
Her heels clicked against the perfect floor as she came down to the final hallway which led to the meeting hall. When she turned the bend she was not surprised at all to see two guards at the doors. Just a standard precaution. These Exiles did not question Svix as she approached for there was no mistaking this aura; it had to belong to Svix Una, one of the great eight generals. Svix made little eye contact with them as she drew near, but she did allow herself to give a brief lifting of the corner of her mouth. Promptly they opened the doors for her as they introduced her. Once inside Svix lowered her head and bowed to Syukoh. She noticed Rllyd was there as well.
"Syukoh, Rylld."
She said this as she lifted herself back to her normal upright position. It seemed that Svix was indeed early with the exception of Rylld, but then again the elf was always close to Syukoh; he was the body guard of course. It was true that Rylld couldn't possibly go against them, for he was a prisoner, but even still, Svix felt uneasy and anxious, almost waiting for the chance for him to prove betrayal. However, until he did Svix kept herself from being hostile to his presence. Svix merely glanced at him as she took her seat. Now the only thing she could do was wait, or speak to Syukoh if she was addressed. By now it was noticeable that Svix had manners that most other races did not show, but it wasn't fear that made her act this way with Syukoh; even though she knew very well that Syukoh was much a great deal stronger than any of them. No, what made her act of this manner was because of her great respect to Syukoh. All that he had accomplished completely awed Svix. What more did an Exile have to live for than revenge? And Syukoh was the best at this. Some would have sworn that Svix had some affectionate feelings for him, but those rumors were simple rumors. The only thing Svix was guilty of was how much she respected him. That was why she always preferred to call him Syukoh, instead of the name that she had started hearing from other races referring him as The Masked Man. Svix then crossed one leg over the other as she calmly positioned herself into a more comfortable position in her chair. Whatever Syukoh had planned it would obviously be something big, and of great importance, otherwise he wouldn't have called all eight of the generals. It made Svix fairly excited, although she barely showed it with only a quiet smirk upon her face, and she wondered what Syukoh had in store for her today.

- My my what a cheeky adult you are. Why are you always trying to pick a fight with your cousin The Engineer 1? Oh it's because you like to outwit her and see her get flustered. Besides that little hobby of yours you keep mainly silent, and mostly concerned with your financial issues. Your ex-wife keeps asking for money. Thank God you didn't have any kids with her or she would have taken them too and demanded more money. When you and your cousin were called up you both were eager to take the job. Her because she craved some release from the same old routine, you because you really needed that money. Although the fact that there are SWAT soliders concern you, and even the crash smells funny.

- One look from you and the job will be done. The Solider: Sniper looks up to you, and even though you are secretly devistated that she is not on your team, you are awared of the severity of this mission, and that it may possible bring casualities. However, you will try your best to prevent that. Just get in, get Baum, and get the hell out of there. You are very stern on not having the unknowing ones find out about the island. What makes you antsy though is The Solider: Statistics because you know how he was acting as they borded the helicopters and you know that he may very well spill the beans. You've now crashed, but you know that you will take down any creature that gets in your way.

- Well look at you missy. Top records at the academy and one of the toughest females on the squad. It gives your fellow soliders comfort that you're there. They all know what's awaiting them on the island, as do you, and you all know that someone in the tree and instant killing one of these creatures is what is needed. You know you can do this, but you've got some doubts about The Solider: Statistis. He is the weakest link in your group and you're keeping a careful eye on him. Then there's The Solider: Longrange who isn't taking anything seriously. You wish you were on Team B with The Solider: Artillary who at leasts has a good head on him. And why won't The Intern stop starring at you; it's starting to piss you off.

Rule 1 - ToS & others
This is pretty short. Just follow those rules and we'll all be good. All of you probably have roleplayed before and/or actually owned a roleplay, so we all get the hang of what this rule says. That being said, make sure to follow our rules as well. Because of the age group yes there will be foul language, but don't over use it. Same goes with violence as well as relationships. If you're heading towards the gore train, or some sort of sex train, just skip over it and we can all just awkwardly think about it in the private of our minds. Pretty simple right? Good.
Rule 2 - Literacy
This is not a semi-lit roleplay. It is an advanced lit. roleplay meaning for one thing check your spelling and grammar. It's not just that though. We know the whole argument of quantity vs. quality, but here we favor both. Make sure to give us something worth reading, although don't make it one paragraph, because that's just disappointing. On the other extreme do not give us seven paragraphs of your character looking out his or her window. Just a nice balance is all we're asking.
Rule 3 - Respect
Please please please have respect for us, the other members, and your own self. If something happens were you didn't make it, or didn't get some spot, do not take it personally. More importantly do not overreact and spam everywhere or harass everyone. If you have beef with someone talk to only that person and either Tare, Hallow, or myself. Don't bring it to the ooc that's only going to make things awkward. Believe me, the other members probably don't want to get in any stick situation. Keep all the hate as pretend hate used only with your characters. We would very much like to keep this a friendly environment, not that we assume everyone is automatically going to get along with everyone, we just ask that you not get carried away. Respect also means don't go and steal any of this without permission because that is just rude.
Rule 4 - Characters
Another simple one. Do not make Miss Mary Sue, or Mr. Gary Stu, etc. Keep your characters interesting por favor. Not everyone is perfect, and not everyone is depressing and sad. If you're going to make someone the way they are then give a reason for it you know. No one becomes a sadist over night, and if they do it's because they're insane, which is a reason. See? We all have complex and unique details and personalities, so be kind and give your character some of that wonder juice, kay?
Rule 5 - Dedication
Let's get this out of the way. We all have lives. Yes something will happen to you, or even Tare, Hallow, or I. If something came up and you have to go missing for a few days just let us know ok? We're pretty understanding with this seeing as it's definitely happened to us as well. If you have to leave the roleplay because RL is too much stress, that's ok as well. Just make sure you inform us so we can do what needs to be done. But don't under any means just stop posting, ditch, and not say a word. That's rude and becomes a hassle for everyone. That being said, if you aren't bogged down with RL then stay consistent with the thread.
Rule 6 - Posts & Profiles
As I said earlier we like both quantity and quality, and so just to set the bar somewhere we have a 800 word count minimum. I know it seems like a lot, but really it actually isn't; in fact the entire rules post is a little over 800. Obviously we're not going to go and check all of your posts and be all "AHA! They only typed 799!", we don't have the time. We just put that there so you all know what's an average minimum we want, and yes of course more is fine as long as it's not mindless babbling. Also with your posts, there is no you must post every blank days. We don't have the patience to keep up with that and you're all old enough to keep up with your posts, so have at it. As for profiles first you must send the BGC, and once that's passed work on your profile and turn it in to us. This is a competition spot placement, so do your best. Also please send the profiles and such to our lovely mule.

Yawning, Lucifer put up a pale hand against his mouth. Eventually he got used to the cold, but it was still miserable. He knew what was happening. Lottie was ******** toying with him again making him wait. He knew he should have stopped by to see Raiden and boast about how beautiful she was tonight. Stupid him for fawning over Lottie without something to push her buttons. Well there was always that secret thing about her being his first, but like he'd tell Lottie that. She'd go and ******** burn down the forest and dice every person in her way to confront Raiden. Lucifer grinned; Lottie was adorable and positively fierce when she was pissed. Then again, Luke thought as he leaned back on the stone he was sitting on, Raiden was cute and fiery when she was pissed too. Lucifer closed his eyes. No, things wouldn't work with Raiden. For one thing, she could die. Lottie can't. Secondly, Raiden brought out the good in Luke, and Lucifer didn't like that. Lottie brought out the intense wicked Lucifer; something that Luke thought necessary for Dusk. Speaking of Dusk, Lucifer felt positively giddy with excitement. All these blasted ******** mutants would get a taste of their future. Hopefully some would actually die. Although it had to be organized deaths. Massacre deaths were unnecessary and brought attention. At the end yes, it would be an all out war, but now they needed to be organized and swift. No attention at all. Lucifer pulled out his phone and decided to check how Nathan was doing. Nathan was consistently under Luke's surveillance. He touched his phone and is eyes began to change into that bright neon green as his mind connected with the internet. He took his usual stream into the satellites, and from there jumped around to the cameras. Obviously tonight was a bit more difficult to see Mythica because all the cameras around school were temporarily turned off by himself and Elijah. Still he managed, and found that scoundrel Nathan hiding away from his mass of females. According to rumors he was due to leave Channel, Channy, er Channer, whatever the hell her name was. Luke didn't have any quarrel with her, but he just stopped having any sort of interest in Nathan's life besides the usual blackmail. The little b*****d was sulking off at the school on one of the deserted hallways. Luke switched view points to get a better view of him and it seemed like he was texting someone. Curious, Lucifer jumped from visual into the phone line connections. He found Nathan's phone and creeped into that network. Luke's mind felt bored, but stored this information for later. The boy was texting Yun-Hee, whoever the hell she was. The guy was just apologizing to her for not being there much, yadda yadda. He asked for her to find him as soon as possible at the dance, they needed to talk, and before Luke could leave from boredom he noticed the next batch of words. He was asking her if she drank any of the water at school.
Lucifer snarled at what he was seeing. Nathan would surely give away everything about Dusk's plan. What if this girl, whoever she was, was a Dawn member? The end of Nathan's text read a goodbye to his little fairy. Perhaps it was a clue. Whoever this girl was, obviously she was someone important to Nathan who could jeopardize the entire mission. As soon as Nathan hit send Lucifer intercepted it and erased what needed to be erased. Once he let it go he kept a mental tab on this girl. She could prove useful in bringing down Nathan. The son of a b***h would pay a price of his life. Not to tonight or anytime soon, but Lucifer had planned on killing him. Before Lucifer left Nathan's network he decided to give him a reminder on tonight's plans.
Remember my lamb, go to the stage, play a showman, and at the time I told you start giving the cheers. Don't worry, I won't let you finish it. When you reach the climax you will fall.
Lucifer snickered as he left that stream back to visuals. He decided to just perhaps see what exactly Lottie was up to. He began to jump visuals when he paused at something disturbing. Smoke. He zoomed in and could see it was the boy's dorms. Luke began to worry that one of the Duskie bombs went off too early. Lucifer zoomed in as close as he could, and noticed that it in fact was not because of the bombs he planted in Mercury's nor Aaron's rooms. This was something else. People were already gathering, which was not good. Either someone in dusk had created some sort of bomb or a certain pyro went out of control. Scowling Lucifer quickly sent a text to Elke because right now he couldn't afford to get off schedule, find Shiloh and tear his a** up for this insubordination. Elke was always her for Luke, so he knew she'd be able to go and help with this little problem.
Yo Elke, go find Shiloh and ask if that brilliant, but ******** stupid stunt in the boy's dorms was his idea of joke. Straighten him out, otherwise next time I see him I'll send him into a coma.
Luke then came back into the real world and exhaled frustration. His knuckles met the stone as he felt his anger rise. There was nothing he liked better than the idea of finding Shiloh and kicking his stupid a**. However, he was in public, so Luke quickly regained his cool and licked his lips against the cold. He placed his phone back into his pocket and rubbed his neck meeting some tight bandage. Perhaps the reason he didn't feel too cold was because the bandages wrapped against his body so tightly. Luke just kept reminding himself that soon he and Lottie would be dancing, making out, and then witness their dream come alive. What was taking her so long though? His eyes glanced to the side where he laid the corsage for Lottie. Hopefully she'd like it. The flowers were died, and it was gracefully coated with shiny silver and green scrap metal, carefully manipulated by Luke to not pierce the skin; however, gleefully he did allow some to possible rub against her skin uncomfortably. Knowing Lottie she'd complain that he didn't have the guts to make her bleed. Lucifer personally enjoyed the green spare wires used at the wrist band. In most ways technology was like those dead flowers. Cold, appealing, and completely heartless. Making the most of things, Luke pulled out his phone to play some games as he grinned. If things went well tonight he'd go and ask Lottie on another date. Something a lot more grunge than this. If
- some rave was close enough he'd take her, and together they could pull some innocent victim with them and annihilate him or her together.
Moments later the door open, and although Luke didn't look up from his game he could hear that it was Lottie. When he looked up and heard the second part of her sentence he felt his blood boil. He eyes found so many things wrong. It was like finding a children's coloring book and getting to the page where they ask you find everything wrong. One: Creature was there with Lottie. Two: Creature was escorting her and had seen her before Luke had even seen her. Three: What the ******** was on his neck? Stupid mutt. And four...wait, Luke felt his face drop as he looked at Lottie's chest. He was ignoring her precious cleavage, and instead starring at the stake in his heart. The girl of his dreams was flashing some ghastly tattoo of a paw print. Fake, it had to be fake. She was screwing with him, yes that's right. Luke didn't realize his mouth was gapping open. Quickly closing it he got up composing himself as he did so. He reached over to grab the corsage and made his way to the two of them flashing a white, but sharp smile.
"Ah, no no. I've actually gotten quite close with this winter weather. Besides I wasn't here too long, I actually was with Raiden just now, but I remembered I had to pick you up Lottie." A little white lie never hurt anyone, he thought.
Once he was close to her, he took her free hand to place the corsage on it.
"Just a little something I made on the way. No use buying one if they were only going to use live, fresh, and smelly flowers, right?" He looked over to Creature as the transfer was made. His smile became thin and his eyes narrowed.
"I believe you have an errand to do tonight if I'm not mistaken. Get to it. I better not catch you slacking either mutt or next time it's you who's getting the poison. Now get dog."
Lottie was going to get pissed, but Luke endured it. This was something beyond than there little love quarrel. Tonight had to be perfect otherwise instead of heads rolling he'd send people into a vegetative state, that or their loved ones. Sometimes it felt good to know that you had the power to bring someone else's world crashing. Luke smirked as he wrapped an arm around Lottie as he began to lead her away from the mutt. As they started walking he looked back with a smile.
"By the way nice accessory. It's about time you got one of those flea collars. Your roommate is probably thanking the gods as we speak. Heh."
As the two walked towards the school Luke began conversation.
"Dearest," he said with the words coming out like nails on a chalkboard, "that thing on your chest better be temporary, otherwise I'm going to have to counter it with a ******** lightning bolt on my forehead like Harry Potter, and I'd rather not."
His eyebrow twitched as she teased him that it wasn't. He had half the nerve to boast the things he did with Raiden, but that was something he would keep with him. Besides he didn't want Raiden getting in a cat fight, although it would be hott, with Lottie over him. They approached the school together along with other students trailing in. Luke doubted he was the only male who felt their companion was the prettiest of the night, but at least he knew his date was the most unique. That and possibly the most deadly. If anything, Luke felt proud that Lottie was by his side. Smirking he pulled her in closer savoring this moment. The dog would just have to be jealous all night because the juicy steak he wanted was another man's meal. Besides it's not like the dog meant anything; he was just a pawn by Lottie just to get Luke jealous, so really he was never the one she wanted. At least, that's what Lucifer told himself. They reached the school and quickly Lucifer put on his happy neighbor face. He greeted those that dared to say hi to Luke while he was laced arm in arm to Lottie. When they reached the dance Lucifer quickly noted Nathan on stage talking to some technicians. Internally, Lucifer smiled seeing that he was sweating. Only over an hour till the fun. As the two pilled in with the other students, Lucifer took the chance to see how many of his chips were floating around. For a brief moment Luke's eyes took a green shade, which if someone saw would assume he was wearing matching contacts with Lottie. Thank the heavens for Lottie always being useful. To Lucifer's excitement, the majority of the chips were all accounted for in possibly fifty mutants. Feeling on top of the world Luke guided Lottie to the dance floor and spun her into it.
"Dance with me love?"

- Charles stood still with Milo in his arms, and while it looked genuine, nothing sparked. Instead it felt as comfortable as hugging Izzy, which wasn't bad, but obviously he had no romantic ties with Izzy. Ew. For a brief second Charles made a small face thinking about it, but regained his posture. Suddenly Charles heard steps coming towards him. Before he had a chance to see his shoulder throbbed as he was shoved causing him to break from Milo and send him juggling against the floor as he backed off. He dipped a bit, but never fell, but someone else did. A crash was heard as Antonio's crown fell as well as Milo meeting the floor. That was all Charles needed to see. He looked at Milo with his mouth slightly open as others that had gathered gasped. Antonio looked like a wreck and like he was going to be sick. Somewhere Charles heard a familiar voice, Nora, but now was no time for him to talk with her. No, the moment that Charles was waiting for was in front of him. Antonio had really done it and this time he would get it. Not even the giant Freddie would stop him. No one, but Izzy of course, except unknowing to him she was far off in the forest with her arms crossed feeling bored. Another thing that would have possibly stopped him would be seeing Cecilia in her drunk state, but thanks to the crowd of spectators around them he couldn't see her. Red and furious the opposing prince pulled off his mask and threw it onto the floor. To the ones that didn't know it was Charles, it was quite a surprise. No one expected the happy-go-lucky joker dressed as prince getting ready to fight. In fact few people saw Charles like this. In the back of his mind he wondered if this would kill his facade, but at the same time it could benefit him by making people think less of Antonio and figuring him an awful guy. Besides the proof was right there. Charles had done nothing wrong but a simple hug, and Antonio shoved him and knocked Milo to ground. Now Charles stood with his fists clenched and his face red. His teeth were grinding against each other as he could bear it no longer.
Charles charged at Antonio, one prince against the other, shouting "You son of-!" and then both clashed against the cold floor of Hogwarts.
Immediately Antonio began to retaliate. He tried to push him off and then missed the head landing a punch on his shoulder. Charles came back with one against his gut. Somewhere both of their wants rolled off neglected. Antonio pulled Charles over trying to pin Charles. The clang of Charles's sword hilt against the floor vibrated against the walls. Also heard was the chant of other students shouting "fight fight". It didn't matter that it was Hogwarts, teenagers were all the same. As soon as they see a fight all they can think of is forming a circle and chanting. Charles got one in his jaw and quickly rolled over pushing Antonio back to the floor and slamming his head against the stone. Antonio came back with a swift punch to Charles face. No doubt it will be become a black eye. Charles leaned back giving Antonio a chance to get up. Ignoring the pain from his eye Charles got up and came with his fist against Antonio's face. That would at least bruise. However, Charles didn't want petty bruises he wanted blood damn it. Why the hell wouldn't Antonio bleed? Antonio reached for Charles's shirt as Charles felt his own hand winding back and when Antonio pulled him closer he felt his fist fly against Antonio's nose and he swear he heard something crack, or
snap he wasn't sure. Antonio stumbled backwards holding is nose and Charles took a minute to catch his breath and wipe some spit from his face. He looked at his fist noticing it wasn't spit, but blood. His own blood. One of those punches caused a bleeding in Charles's mouth. Nothing too painful, but he felt his eye seriously swelling now. He looked back to see Antonio clutching his nose as a small dripping came. A bloody nose; Charles was quite pleased. Like always though Charles was greedy and came charging back at Antonio only to receive a blow in the gut from Antonio's knee. Charles felt the air being taken forcefully from his gut and staggered backwards. Antonio let go of his nose revealing instant swelling smeared with blood. This time Antonio came to Charles and Charles was ready.Charles grabbed Antonio's collar and swung him down on the ground with him. He lifted his hand again to knock one on Antonio straight on his head when by a force of nature he froze. He looked over to see Professor McGonagall and noticed he was currently being frozen as well as Antonio. It seems that someone notified a teacher, thankfully the fight was just petty enough to only bring one teacher. Charles stood next to Antonio as the crowd of students dissipated while the two fighters received their punishments of detention and losing some points from both respective houses. Charles wished for a moment that Antonio was a prefect because then at least he'd either be stripped of his title or least be looked down upon. Charles had really nothing to lose though. He wasn't into school work, he didn't want to be Slytherin Quidditch
captain, nor did he want to be any sort of prefect. All the glory stuff was saved for Izzy. Although, he did probably lose some respect from Milo, Nora, and he knew Izzy as well once she found out, which she would because he had no doubt in his mind Nora would go and inform Izzy of his recklessness. When the professor left and Charles was left with Antonio and Milo he only pursed his lips. He took a glance at Milo, and for a moment he felt had careless and inconsiderate he had been to her, but he still hated Antonio. She would be pissed at him for awhile and he knew he'd have to do a crap ton of a** kissing, apologizing, and gift giving to get her to look at him again. He looked back at Antonio with a foul face."You're still a punk who needs to learn what she's worth."
Charles spat in front of him, grabbed his wand, and left to the nearest bathroom to clean and observe this new shiner that Antonio gave him. He didn't want to talk with anyone and the only person he would let near him would be Izzy, but she just wasn't there. Not to say she didn't start having a sickly feeling in her gut back in the forest, but she assumed that was her getting jumpy that someone was watching her. Charles stood in the bathroom rinsing his mouth in the sink. When he looked up he could see that a black eye would be there in the morning as well as bruises galore and a really harsh slap from Izzy. Charles figured the best thing for him to do would be to go back to his dorm and sleep away the night. However, he realized his still had to
go and pick up his mask that he dropped before the fight. Already feeling sore and tired Charles left the bathroom taking a very slow pace. Once he made it back to the fight scene he realized that Milo and Antonio had left as well as everyone else. Grateful, he picked up his ask and traced his fingers over it. What kind of a prince was he? He thought he was the good kind, but it seemed that was only a mask. He looked up back at the dance and found the one thing that was preventing him from going to sleep. Cecilia was completely hammered, and it seemed that if he couldn't save Milo he would at least try to rescue Cecilia.••••

Felix is already fairly unique. Being a half-fae half-human usually starts things as such. From his
upbringings Felix grew up being careless and young, and has already grown out of that stage. Now
he takes up a new persona by becoming a little more reserved. Part of it was because of him
joining the Resistance as the messenger, and part of it is for his own, and his mother's protection.
Through this slight paranoia, Felix has begun to share less and less information about himself.
However, through his experiences of being a messenger he has learned to not be so obvious, and
by that he means not sulk in the corner. Instead he makes conversation, flirts with women, and acts
like any other local resident. Of course he doesn't push it by becoming totally drunk, but instead
acts like a casual and curious traveler.
Although that's only if he has time to be a traveler. Most of the time he doesn't due to the
urgency of his messages. Sometimes he barely even has time to rest, but he never
complains. He enjoys his job, because in truth he is somewhat of a coward. He doesn't mind fighting off
a thief or bandit that come between him and his destination, but he is a coward against fighting
the real war. When he delivers the said message he is polite, but pithy. He has also learned
that the majority of his customers tend to be serious and due to the gravity of the situation that
surrounds everyone, they tend not to care at all about making small talk with the lowly messenger.
Apart from his job, Felix has kept a small part of his own personality very much alive. Felix's
mother, being a Fae, was very spiritual, and being the only parent to raise Felix, she gave him
the love of believing in something higher than your own self. In his own solitude Felix enjoys
sitting and meditating on his life and the lives of all that surrounds him.
x x x x x x x x HISTORY
It is commonly known that Felix is indeed half-fae, half-human. His mother is a fae, and his
father was a human. Felix's mother was a respectable herbal tea maker, his father was just a trader.
Their meeting was simple, Felix's mother wanted to make a tea with a rare herb that his father
just happened to be selling. Felix's father's own father was partly racist towards anything that
wasn't human, his mother was accepting. It killed Felix's grandfather when his son ran away to
elope with a fae. Felix's mother's parents had hoped to schedule an arranged marriage for
their daughter, but were willing to sacrifice their own wishes for their daughter's happiness.
However, an inter-racial communion was still looked down upon. Felix's parents tried their best
to keep their marriage a secret from all others, but when Felix's mother found out she was
pregnant it was decided that the two would split. She returned to the safety of her parent's home
back in Na Kuile, and he traveled back to Valandir to the city of Fortuna. Felix was born back in
Na Kuile, and for some time in his early stages of life believed he was full fae. That was until he
realized that his aging was faster than the others, and his ears were not as sharp. When his human
features started becoming prominent he and his mother fled to the city of Parvus. It was the
perfect city of his mother to make a living and for Felix to be accepted. Felix was twenty two.
By the age of twenty six it was decided that Felix now had the mentality to defend his own
self giving his mother the opportunity to be with his father once more. That was when Felix
was given his first mission as a messenger. He was going down to see his father. It must be
known that while Felix was twenty six, his appearance was that of a seven year-olds.
Be that as it may, Felix was already well versed in the art of the quarterstaff. Being small
and light also aided him in quick travels as he made his way to Fortuna to pick up his father.
Felix received little trouble on the way down, but while in Fortuna he had a minor set-back
when he defended himself excellently against some drunk and poor men. It was a touching moment
for Felix and his father. While in mind Felix was a grown human man, he still resembled a small
boy. His father, however, was now an aging man. When the returned, his father was reacquainted with
his still youthful mother. It brought tears in Felix's father's eyes that he was so old compared to his son
and to his wife, but he was happy. It took some years later when Felix was in his forties when
his father died, and still Felix looked like a young teenage boy. The son and the wife both
out lived the father. Felix inherited his bow.
Felix's mother has continued to stay a widow and is still located in Parvus, only receiving slight
news every now and then from Felix, and speaks nothing of him due to his job. This was
all Felix's idea so that his mother would never be taken hostage. Many wonder how Felix got
in touch with Sydrial, and some create their own rumors. While Felix did get involved with
the Resistance early on, he never once hinted any past relations with Sydrial.

- Perhaps being early was not too much of a disappointment seeing as it brought almost privacy with Syukoh, well at least as much privacy as possible seeing as Rylld was consistently present with Syukoh and the majority of the time Ezereal was present if just lurking in the shadows somewhere. Often Svix liked surprising the other generals or lesser Exiles, but Ezereal was always a challenge for her to catch. For the time being she was unsure if Ezereal was there or not, she just didn't know and wasn't going to bother herself finding out. Instead she took it to possibly further prove her loyalty or if at the very least get to speak to Syukoh.
"I'm not sure. I would assume they're on their way because of the obvious importance of this meeting. A meeting with some is one thing; a meeting with all of us is something completely different."
Svix's gray eyes snapped up gazing over at Syukoh. She stayed perfectly calm, but she was very eager to see what this mission was. For a second she noticed Rylld again and began to feel a little on edge with him. Thankfully she knew he couldn't possibly understand much of what she said, although none of it held much importance. She didn't bother putting herself at the embarrassment of trying to speak Common tongue. Svix learned some of that, but she was completely rubbish at it to her dismay. Her anger for the stupid language was possibly a factor to her lack of experience and knowledge of the language, but she was none too eager to admit that, if indeed she knew her slight anger a weakness. Away from her thoughts Zeiss appeared at the doors and Svix only just caught him at mid head bowing to Syukoh. She listened to his plea and watched him shake the body. Svix suddenly had the urge to take it with her to play with it, even though she knew well the victim was in no way alive anymore. However, she remained seated with only her eyes and slight mouth twitching giving away her partly sadistic side. Before she got too carried away she opened her mouth giving her air to calm her excited heartbeat and answer Zeiss.
"Your guess is as best as mine Zeiss. At least now though we can take a guess what you've been doing prior to this meeting."
On her face she allowed a soft but noticeable smirk. She was only teasing Zeiss just a tiny bit, nothing too vile, just a comment. In fact it wasn't nasty at all seeing as Svix was envious that he had gotten to kill something, actually someone she reminded herself, this morning while she was stuck to riding her horse to make sure she wasn't late. As sudden as Zeiss appeared another general appeared behind him. Zaephod has his own charismatic ways of entering a room, but as silly as he was he was also delightfully dangerous and out of his mind. He knew how to play and would often imitate Svix's tease games against her own self and like a duck returns to water she would always fall to her anger and let it get the best of her. Most knew that her anger was a huge issue for one so small. It wasn't something mild like a temper tantrum but instead something vicious involving her, some victim, and her clawing them that or casting several curses on them. As a caster Svix did hold some nifty curses with her that proved fun and useful. As Zaephod took to playing with his tongue Svix took the time to reply to Zeiss once more.
"I found Zaephod."
Smirking she pointed to Zaephod making fun of the situation. Svix watched as Zaephod and Zeiss acknowledged each other.
It was amusing to see Zaephod getting worked up. Normally she would be press that now was not the time, but there were still many generals missing from the scene. As such, it was concluded that if Zaephod wanted to do what he does best it was fine for Svix, unless of course Syukoh disapproved. To Svix what Syukoh said was law and something she took seriously. Although she was a little disappointed to realize the body was a present for Zaephod. No matter though, perhaps after the meeting Svix would go and find a worthy adversary to destroy and play with. Zaephod prodded the assumed corpse with his finger announcing a confirmation for Svix that the victim was dead. Svix glanced to the side feeling disheartened that the corpse had dead before she got to hear the last breath. Many others always enjoyed hearing a victims screams. Svix was like them of course, but the screams were not her favorite to some other's surprise. Instead she always enjoyed seeing her victims' eyes and hearing their last breath. Their eyes because while she found most dying in a fright, there were some that strangely got some sort of gleam in their eyes. Svix was always curious as to what made their eyes like that. For Svix there was only Korgu, and she could never fathom herself actually happy on returning to that dreaded place, which is why she could not understand why some seemed happy to go wherever they were going. It simply baffled her. The second favorite was hearing their last breath. As the previous it was usually tense and short from the horrific last parts of their life, but sometimes she'd get a curious case of the last breath being long and almost like a sigh of relief. Svix's curious manner always made her look for those two parts of the end of a person's life. Svix was in high hopes though that the mission she would be put on would indeed bring her that much closer to something fun which would also involve killing whichever race that confronted her. Bringing her eyes up she glanced back over to Zaephod, Zeiss, and the body wondering what mild entertainment they would bring until another general appeared or when Syukoh spoke again. Whichever came first.

One would think that by this time a responsible young adult would be awake and taking care of the things needed to be done for the day; however, this particular female just couldn't be bothered to take up such responsibilities. Instead the raven-haired female was curled in an asortment of blankets, while the other half kept the floor warm. Sunlight cut through various parts of room, giving light to random objects from her shoes to trinkets on one of her shelves. Meanwhile Artemis stayed sleeping in the far shadows of her bed still dreaming of trying to find the waterfall where the sun stone could be found. Although at this point of the dream she was hopeless lost within a forest. To someone conscious it makes no sense what so ever, but in a dream everything has a purpose. Meanwhile in the hall sat an eager, young teenage boy around the age of thirteen who sat cross-legged starring at the door for when his sister would awaken. After staying in this position of eight minutes the boy could no longer hold his tongue. Promptly he arose and strode over to the door biting his lip in hesitation, and finally acting with some sharp knocks upon the wooden door. Inside Artemis bunched up her eyebrows and slowly opened and closed her eyes multiple times. As routine she slipped out of bed and immediately began to stretch with a yawn. Opening the door revealed Hayden looking up with gray eyes and a nervous smile. Artemis smiled as she patted him on the head. It was easy to see what he wanted. He was bored and wanted her to play with him outside in the streets of Radiant Garden. Succumbing to his charm she left him to go and get ready. Some moments later Artemis traveled down stairs yawning again, but certainly more awake than she was when she first awoke. Eagerly Hayden jumped out of his chair to come and meet her at the stairs. Their mom was busy in her study constructing potions to sell to one of the shops. As for their father, he worked the majority of the day in a weapons shop. Sometimes Artemis wondered if she should get a job as well; she was in fact nineteen. However, she was still a free bird, and just couldn't force herself to set attachments when all she wanted was adventure.
"Come onnnn! You've wasted practically the entire day sleeping. I've been wanting to spar since yesterday."
Grinning and rolling her eyes Artemis complied as she went out the front door giving a short bye to their mother.
"So where is it today that we're sparring?"

- Tired and sore. That's all Charles felt. He got what he wanted, but the thing was none of it was satisfying. The storm inside of him had stopped brewing, but there was no sunlight afterwards. All he could think of for the reason was that he just didn't love Milo in that way. He hated Antonio with a fiery passion, but even still the fight did not feed his hunger; in fact it only proved to worsen his mood. Charles stood for a second and then just sighed. That's all there was to it. He was finally over it. He would never be fine with Antonio, but if that's who Milo wanted then so be it, but he would never be nice to him. The only person that meant something to Charles in the romantic way was Ana. These days though he never got to see her enough. Perhaps it was because he was too focused on this Milo and Antonio issue. A hand dragged down his face as he sighed. He made a small truce to himself. He wasn't going to fight Antonio anymore, physically that was. He would still be a p***k in his arse, and still find ways to sabotage that relationship, but only when the opportunity presented itself. If he didn't go looking for trouble then Izzy and probably Nora too would stop worrying about him, he'd still be friends with Milo, and all his attention to go to Ana. All Charles wanted now was to see her, give her a hug, and collapse in her arms. However, she was gone, probably doing some Deatheater things, which Izzy was probably doing as well- poor Tyler, he just couldn't cut it for Izzy. Perhaps he could try one of the other guys; as long as it was god-damn Nathan. Waving away these issues, Charles focused on the new issue. Cecilia needed to get away from that son-of-a-b***h Xavier. Charles strode into the hall gently pushing past people to get to Cecilia. He paused for a moment as she vomited, a portion hitting Xavier, which was awesome, but still horrible for Cecilia. His own gut seemed to be wrenching a bit at the smell of acid and alcohol, but Charles put that all away when he noticed Cecilia pulling out her wand. Magic was not something to be played with when drunk; his father taught him this.
Tired, but more alert, Charles sprinted over and quickly grabbed the end of her wand. He didn't want to hurt her, but he did want to stop her before she made a mistake that could have very well ended her in a heap of trouble. How the hell did she get drunk again? Sternly he looked at Xavier.
"Xavier."
No hello, no greeting, just a nod.
"I believe it's my turn with Cecilia. She probably doesn't remember now because somehow she has become intoxicated, but she did promise me some time tonight out of her busy schedule. I hope this reaches through to you. Sorry to end your dance, but she's coming with me."
“Byeeeeeeeeeee!”
Cecilia waved with a charming smile to Xavier, despite that she just barfed all over him, but Charles was actually kind of ok with this. Gently, but still firm enough for her not to escape, Charles escorted her out of the hallway.
“Charles, Charles, Charles I made you out of clay, Charles cha-“
Cecilia ceased her singing when Charles fluidly bent over and heaved her up in a bridal style of carrying her. She would probably pass out on the way to the dormitories, so he planned ahead. Yes he was in a huge amount of pain seeing as he was just in a fight, and no doubt his eye was already swollen and red-black, but Cecilia wasn't heavy at all. She was probably just as thin as Izzy, so lifting her was easy. He was only pained because of the bruises Antonio left. Then again it would have also helped if Cecilia stopped poking his bruises.
He didn't get angry though, just a faint smile. She was cute; her drunk state slowly slipping away into some sort of giggly-state. It was still probably way too early for people to start retreating back into their dorms, so the halls were completely empty, save a few who snogged in the corners. None of the couples even glanced at Charles. Entering the dungeons, Charles began to feel the worry from his mind dissolve. With Cecilia in his arms, the prince finally acted like a prince by doing the right thing tonight. He saved Cecilia from making a mockery of herself, and well that's what friends were supposed to do. Like an oasis in the desert, Charles became weak-kneed at her bed as he softly laid her down on it. With a loud plump, he then sat and threw his back against the bed at the end of her feet. "Tonight's been a long night. For both of us as I can see, but I'm glad I got you back here."
Charles turned his head smiling with the bruises and cracked lips proving how tired he was. The least he could do now was wait till she passed out then climb into bed, clothes and all, and wake up to the morning of pure hell from Izzy nagging the ******** out of him. Nora would probably join too, but it's funny when she nags at him because she's cute too. Not like Cecilia was, but in her own way. Friends were allowed to be called cute, but Ana was gorgeous. Closing his eyes, Charles sighed waiting to hear what Cecilia had to say.

- Izzy twirled her wand in between her fingers as she sank back to a supporting tree. It was a little cold outside for her, but nothing too horrible. Her hair was starting to become uncoiled from the make shift hair style she placed on herself. Eyes watching, her mind drifted a bit thinking back on tonight. There was nothing she wanted more tonight than just to be the one with Nathan next to her. The thought of dancing with him had Izzy blushing so hard that if she wasn't already well hidden, she would have made sure she was in fear someone would see her face. Suddenly Izzy heard the slightest leaf crackle and became alert with the image of Nathan fading away. From the shadows with her wand ready she starred into the darkness. Expecting a little action herself, Izzy felt slightly disappointed as she saw that it was only Faust coming. Exhaling, Izzy lowered her wand and allowed her further access to the Death Eater circle. Relaxing her muscles, Izzy leaned back with a puff of air. As quick as ever though another person happened to draw near and like the good sentry she was, Izzy retreated to the darkness with wand at the ready. Disappointed again, this time it was Gwen who appeared and the unnoticed Izzy watched her go. Before Izzy could even relax again another voice cut through the silence. It was unmistakable who's voice this was; Freddie's. The plan was finally coming underway.
”I mean, seriously. Like I’d want her breast milk. Although… there are those creepers who love breast milk… maybe they’re onto something?”
Izzy made a face in the shadows. Of all the things to talk about Freddie was talking about this. It was disgusting, vulgar, and crude, but it was Freddie and Izzy found it hilarious. She watched him lure Alburne into the circle, and even after they vanished from her eye sight she still stayed on the alert. Moments later she saw a small flash of light and quicker than ever Freddie was rushing past, fleeing from his crime. Izzy wish she could have shouted how proud she was of him, but that would have blown both of their covers. Turning back towards the direction of the circle, Izzy could hear spells firing without any mercy. She should have winced and felt sick at the thought of this, but inside she felt nothing was wrong. Maybe when she was younger her morals might have been a little bit more defined, but Charles was the older of the twins and Izzy could remember the day Charles asked her to do what average people wouldn't do. The greatest game they ever had. As the multi-colored flashes gleamed through the trees and reflected off her wan skin she could see the memories of when she was younger. Elizabeth was always mischievous since before she met Nora and Jacob. This was just when Charles and her were really young, and couldn't understand why they couldn't see their dad. Well Charles said he could but Izzy always thought he was just being sour and upset and that he really didn't know.
Izzy only ever wanted to just meet the man. It wasn't that she had some sort of expectation, but just that she was simply curious of who it was he contributed the other half of her own self and Charles. Izzy's other "brothers", well step-siblings, had no relation to her father, so the only one to compare him with something was her own brother. There were parts that Izzy and Charles always saw in themselves that matched their mother, but there were also little things that didn't match. Charles had that smile, that crooked smile that he always wore. Izzy was sure that it had to be from her father because their mother had never smiled like that. However, what it was that Izzy had that her mother didn't give, she had no idea. Obviously Izzy's true hair color wasn't blue, but actually dark brown, just like Charles. Her mother had the same hair though, as well as her pale skin. Perhaps it was the slight freckles that just barely touched her nose and cheeks that she shared, but she couldn't be sure. It might have been the eyes too, but that was just a guess too, and it would mean that Charles would share it with him as well seeing as Izzy's and Charles's eyes were one and the same. A slight difference of course, but still the same. If Izzy could just meet him in person then maybe just maybe she could see what was it that made her who she was.
Then again, it was nothing she was too passionate about. She just always did what Charles wanted, which is why she was here. That and being nice and sweet was so boring, so dreadfully dreadfully boring. This was fun and exciting. Again, not the most moral thing, but still a lot more exciting than just protecting everyone. Being a hero was like shouting to the world that you have nothing unique about you what-so-ever. Yawning, Izzy was starting to get tired. Since she wasn't actually contributing to the spells she didn't have that kick of adrenaline. The night didn't seem long, but it felt long. The fight with Charles, his apology gift, clashing with Gabby, yearning for Nathan, dancing with Tyler, ditching Tyler, and then coming out here. Short, but much more tiring than what she was used to. Groaning with a stretch, Izzy decided it was time to watch people disperse. Still stumbling a little with the heels, Izzy eventually manage to get to the circle. Izzy didn't say much, but she was snickering at the poor weak victim. Once everyone had calmed down they dismissed themselves and left. When it was clear everyone would be safe, Izzy then dismissed herself. The walk to the castle seemed lonely and chilling. It wouldn't have seemed to tiring if maybe Charles was with her, or at least someone to accompany her, but no one did. Izzy shrugged it off though because in her mind she assured herself that solitude is what she wanted.
After a few steps, the little few who stayed put up the Dark Mark into the sky. Izzy looked up at it, and didn't feel completely in awe, but she didn't feel uncomfortable. She didn't stay long looking at the specter in the sky though in fear of someone catching her. Instead she briskly ran to the castle and hid in the shadows for awhile. She edged around the stones until she found a secret nook that Charles and her discovered in their fourth year. It led a bit away from the dance, but it was in a place that was inconspicuous. Izzy took to finding an empty class room and sat in a chair a little exhausted. The shoes were wonderful, but so much trouble to walk in. Leaning back in the chair, Izzy groaned a bit and wished nothing more than to just apparate into her bed. Together, sister and brother seemed to collapse from exhaustion, mentally or physically, into a bed and chair on opposite sides of the castle. Both wishing for tomorrow.••••
