Izzy's nerves seemed to tangle within themselves as more people began to appear. That was all that she needed. Just peachy to have more people come and stare at the girl pretending to be what she is not for all to see looking for someone who isn't there. It didn't really surprise her though because she knew that Tyler would have left finding some other hot body and making them swoon after him. She'd keep on searching just for a minute longer and if she couldn't find she go back to the bathroom, change out of her clothes, and go back to her dorm and study for next week's Transfiguration quiz. Her night would be over and that was that. It wasn't like she had anything else to do. The Deatheaters had not called for her assistance on anything planned for tonight, so if she was not needed then she would not pester. Simple as that. Charles however would have been pitching a fit if he couldn't have any Deatheater fun if he had not found a date with Char. Izzy only approved because she knew it wasn't serious. Izzy knew who she was that Charles was always thinking of. No one else knew of course who the masked woman was except for Izzy. The bond of twins was unbreakable and all knowing of the other.

Izzy sighed knowing full and well Tyler was gone. She sniffed and picked up her dress. It was time to stop playing pretend and leave. Thankfully she didn't see Nathan or treacherous Gabby with a smug look over her face. If she left now she wouldn’t have to see the pain of that. She didn't even have a ******** chance to go near him. It was like too many people were in the way. Gabby for one thing was always running after Nathan and bothering him with her suffocating appearance. Then there was Tyler who coincidentally bumps into her just as she was going to go ask Nathan anyways to the dance. He stopped her in the halls and publically flirted with her until she said yes. Lastly was Charles who made it clear that he disapproved of Nathan and who consistently humiliates her with his glaring at Nathan. Well Izzy had enough of it, and sure enough after tonight was over she was turning over a new leaf. She was going to tell Charles to back off of her life and let her like whomever she chooses. As for Tyler well she planned to just tell him that she's not interested in being another girl for his ego.

Izzy was half-way turning around when she was knocked back by another body and had to grab the railing behind her as to not slip down the last step. Bloody people! Can't they ever look? Izzy fixed her dress not really looking at the idiot who bumped into her. When she finished fluffing it back down she looked up with a frown that turned into a scowl. Just ********' fantastic. Of all the people to hit her it was Gabby. Izzy was positive that it wasn't even an accident now. Gabby must have hit her on purpose just to show off her French silk and her dress was more like a wedding dress. How vain she was to wear such a thing, and even worse with Nathan. Gabby the snake had some nerve to bump into Izzy. Forget that she was a year younger. She didn't need a wand palm face up her face. Izzy's hands tightened as the creature even chose to speak to her.

"Sorry, I hope I haven't injured you in any way."

b***h. The ******** b***h was laughing at Izzy now. Smiling as if everything was alright, and why wouldn't it be seeing as she had everything that she wanted now. Izzy wanted nothing but to hit her right across the face, but sometimes it's better with words than with a hand, and sometimes turning the other cheek and coming back with a vengeance is all one can do.

User Image"Pretending that something never happened or isn't broken is called fantasy, and everyone knows that the fantasy world never lasts."

Izzy was going to just leave that as it was seeing as there was no reason to fight. Not here and not right now and not with Nathan probably close. Izzy began picking up her dress again and semi-turned and was met with none other than Nathan. If Gabby never existed then it would feel like a dream to see him. Truthfully though she did exist and she was with him. It was like a perfect nightmare, and worse was that Nathan looked so formal and graceful as did Gabby. Izzy felt awkward and weird as they looked at her. She felt like a child playing dress up. She had the height of someone who could be a model and the complexion, but no curves and a lack of confidence to ever feel comfortable in what she was wearing.

"Good evening, ladies. Is everything alright?"

What defined the term alright? With her emotions? No; everything was not alright in that sense. With the world? Yes; nothing was exploding yet. With her brother and his own plans for tonight? No; he was planning to beat up Antonio. Was everyone else fine? More or less; it is a beautiful dance. With the deatheaters and the order going at it? No; a fight would eventually erupt. Then again everything is right. Nathan and Gabby looked perfect with each other. Like a couple made from heaven, and shouldn't Nathan be with Gabby? Izzy wasn't a control freak like Gabby who had to have him all for herself. Izzy could easily knock her down and out, but what use would it be for Nathan. It's his own User Imagebody and she's nothing like Gabby. If this is what Nathan wants then who is she to fight him? It didn't mean that she had to give up entirely, but only that she would have to make herself known to him. From now on she made a vow that she would speak up for once and talk with him. It didn't mean forcing herself upon him, like Gabby did, but instead getting to know the person she yearns for. Just not tonight.

"For now the world is content, so I can guess that everything is indeed alright."

For the third time Izzy attempted to leave when another person pulled her back. Impeccable timing Tyler.

"'Ello Gabby, Noa. My you guys make a smart match. Well I won't take up too much of your time. I'm just here to grab this elegant Izzy from you. Now if you please, Izzy, say your good byes and come with me."

Izzy looked down as Tyler neared her and began to speak to them. She felt like she had no more to say. It wasn't like she could tell Tyler no and ignore Gabby and just talk to Nathan. If with her acceptance of tonight there was no denying she was hurt inside. No one would see it though except for Charles, and he's all she wanted right now. Charles would only hate Nathan more and even more than ever be restricted off Gabby, but at least he could comfort Izzy in a way no one else could. With him as well she could shed tears and not feel weak or small. However, Charles was gone right now so she felt User Imagedistant and cold. Izzy barred all her emotions as she looked up at Nathan and Gabby. She didn't smile or frown, or even say a right good bye. She only looked at Nathan and spoke almost monotone.

"I hope your evening is as pleasant as you hope it will be."

Izzy willingly let Tyler guide her away from them and into the Great Hall. Even as he spoke she felt hollow. Tyler couldn't make her feel the way that Nathan made her feel. When she looked at Nathan she felt this weird feeling in her blood, and Tyler could only make her ticked off and slightly amused.

"So my great divinity, what is it that kept you so long that I had to wait forever outside like an abused pup? You know you'll have to pay me back for the wait. Now you can do this the easy way with a dance or the hard way in an empty room. Whatever suits your fancy."

"Divinity? That's new. People always tend to go with Goddess first. Anyways it wasn't my fault. A teacher foolishly scheduled a detention date for today and they ended up placing it in my hands because they had to go and chaperon. Besides I could say the same for you. I thought we agreed you would be waiting by the stairs. Ugh, you know I'm not like those other girls. If you want the first option you shouldn't have asked me to the dance. I came here strictly for the second option anyways."

Izzy allowed him to kiss her fingers, but she felt no real connection with Tyler. There was no spark. She raised the corner of her mouth a little as she led him to the dance floor and prepared to dance. As she spun
with him she decided to make this night more interesting.

"So, Tyler. Tell me, did my brother put you up to this?"

The line separating good from bad was never really mentioned to Iris and her brother when they were young. They grew up in a crowded urban city on Mars. The kind of place that kids are just bound to turn rotten in. The thing with Iris is that like her brother they never really turned good to bad at all; actually they were just morally corrupt to begin with. They started out real young, and not in the common way that others did. They never stole from the kids or pranked the teachers. They weren't outright violent either, just very twisted. They were always quiet and made good grades in school. The problem was that when the teacher did make them do something they didn't want to do they simply told her to go ******** herself and walked away to their desk. No violence or yelling ever occurred. One must think that they had a troubled childhood, but really it wasn't as bad as other people had it. They had each other and sometimes their dad when he was somber; never their mother though who had a habit of just humming to herself and cleaning. If there was something that could have led to Iris and her brother insane mind it was their mother's consistent cleaning. It would have been fine if she had done something else with her time, but that's all she did. No rules were ever given, no chores, and not even a do your homework. Just blank s if she was brainwashed. Iris and her brother had their ways of releasing their pent up emotions though. Every other night or so they would grab some baseball bats and just leave the apartment. They wouldn't acknowledge the gangs or try to steal liquor or cigs. They just walked with each other never saying a word until they were out of the city and in their special place. It was basically a junkyard where they spent hours talking with each other and smashing everything in sight; strange behaviors, but better than going and beating up kids. When Iris was thirteen and her brother sixteen he finally went out and purchased a gun. They knew their father had one, but they felt they needed their own; Iris's brother even bought one for her. In their place they set up their own firing range and practiced. Surprisingly their records are still completely clean minus the school detentions. It should be made clear now though that Iris is not her real name in fact. Currently everyone assumes it is, but she changed it after the next incident. At age sixteen, her brother being nineteen, they decided it was time to gamble. They had practiced with each other for years waiting for the day to earn some real UD's. Both of their jobs paid nothing compared to all the money on the streets. Naturally they were excellent at it; as said before they may have been twisted, but they were intelligent. They were moving on up really fast, and of course that was going to bring up some wandering eyes by the not so right crowd. He brother ended up being challenged one night, and Iris was watching very closely from the table over. He won, and the challengers did not enjoy losing. Her brother quickly collected his money into a bag and attempted to leave. There were too many though and they grabbed him pulling him outside and away. He looked back at Iris's blank eyes and went with it. Iris and her brother had made precautions if this ever happened. They never let it known that they were siblings, and if one were taken they would leave the winnings under the table and the other would grab it and go straight to the hotel knowing full and well they wouldn't see the other one again.

Iris may be quiet and defiantly abnormal, but she isn't completely heartless. Rarely anyone is completely heartless. She cared for her brother deeply, and disregarding her attitude as she took the winnings and left, she entered her lodging in the hotel with grimace and sat in the dark curled into a fetus position on the bed crying to a window. There was no point in trying to go and be a stupid hero and save her brother because she knew he was gone. There was no call from him later that night and not a sight of him anywhere. Most people would have quit cold with the gambling, but Iris continued it at her pace making her savings. When she wasn't coining UD's she stayed in their secret place and practiced her shootings. Iris is nothing less than determined and she had a plan that involved her being deadly. In order to be deadly one must use a gun and know how to actually use it. One would think that someone as Iris would say ******** it and just learn as she goes by nothing but talent; however, she actually made goals in her head. First it was to just hit the target then to hit it in fewer bullets and so on until it was hit the target in the heart with one shot. Impressive yes? Well one must be to be in the Syndicate in the first place. She's also dealt her head with snipers as well, and she's nothing less than an instant kill with those. One usually thinks if Iris is so quiet and sometimes anti-social then certainly she has to have something on her mind right? Well she does, but it's not something boring like math or puzzles just for fun. Instead she dreams about freedom; not from the Syndicate of course since that's suicidal, but of the freedom away the boring factor of life. She wanted to see other planets and do more things with her life then just roam her home city, so
she did after she used her winnings to buy a ticket off of Mars. Her parents of course didn't put much of a fight for
keeping her. Nobody ever converses much with Iris so her story of how she got involved with the Syndicate so it is
deemed as unimportant. What is important is her ultimate goal to coming into power. While she barely communicates
with her fellow team mates she does idolize the leader and often fantasizes herself being like him; making note that
she doesn't want to be with him, but instead literally be like him with his chair of power. A couple of months after her
eighteenth birthday Iris came into a foolish accident that she still beats herself over with. She was sent on a heist and
made a careless accident all because she thought she saw her brother, even though her mind knew it to be impossible,
and because of her distraction she was shot and became blind in the right eye. She completely abhors people starring at
it specifically in such an obvious manner. As long as one doesn't stare at it and holds a solid conversation with Iris, then
she may even consider enjoying one's company.

The earmuffs cozed around her ears that the sounds from the firing gun made little impact on her. Everyone questioned her about why she wore those huge seemingly onerous objects around her ears instead of just placing in tiny plugs into the holes of her ears. She insisted that the muffs kept the sound out much more efficiently than the plastic plug-ins did. Iris fired off another two shots into the target hitting two very close locations on the head of the practice targets. Iris let go of the breath she had been storing during this moment of thinking, careful not to break the silence after the shots. Silence was a blissful thing to Iris and she appreciated it more than what most people would. Thankfully the target practice room on the ship was practically empty. There were two main contributing factors. One that it was late already, and two because Iris was there. There were very few in the syndicate who got near Iris. She believed that it wasn't because she didn't want them around, but because her communication skills were poor and few people even wanted to speak to her. That didn't matter though, what mattered was that she was on Mars again. How the hell did that happen? She was supposed to be away from this planet. That's why she saved all her money, that's why her brother was killed for. Iris held her breath again as she fired four more bullets into the chest area of the target. Two were in the heart, one on the neck, and the other in the center of chest. This was an insult to his memory. Forget her parents, but her brother could not simply be shot away with the next target. All Iris wanted to do was depart again, or at least have some action come to part. Only during heists or attacks did she really feel important and needed. The bodyguards were in charge of protecting Dauragon as well several others; of course she also had a small obligation to ensuring their safety, but her main purpose was to shoot down the opposing shooters. A fight between who was quicker, swifter, and more accurate. Iris was quick to pull the gun, swift to pull the trigger, and has it down to an art of not wasting bullets. However, being on this planet was enough distraction for her that she needed to let loose some rounds, and so her reason for stowing away here. Now she did try very hard to cooperate with Mars, but his hammer was brought down upon her brow heavy with past pictures as revenge for leaving.

Since she was alone she felt her composure and attention to detail fall, and she let it. Iris continued firing merciless into the target until it resembled Swiss cheese and set down her gun gently on the table letting out her breath. Since she was a child Iris never had tantrums and she wasn't going to this time either. Instead she would come to the closest part of crying that she would ever allow. Calmly she took of her earmuffs relinquishing the sound of her steady heart beat for silence. Next to come off were the goggles around her eyes. Iris had learned the hard way what bullets can do to someone's vision and she wasn't taking the same risk again. Mild perspiration was forming on her forehead up until the indent from the goggles, but they were wiped clean from her back hand. Iris stood looming over the counter thinking until it overpowered her. She caved in a physical manner and feel the ground and sat leaned against the counter as if she was just sitting about to enjoy a meal. She was not enjoying a meal, but instead replaying how her supposed free day went. The morning she awoke on the ship feeling dreadfully hot and familiar. Outside the window beheld a dusty, hot, red planet Mars. Iris was not the happiest person as she fell to the floor and began doing her morning push-ups. Some would find it strange how fit Iris was, but in her eyes the universe was a survival test, and her brother had failed, which explained her morning rituals. Once she finished with thirty push-ups she got up stretching the rest of her body awake. Then she continued as she jumped up and grabbed one of the steel bars on the roof of her lodgings. Her breath was monitored and precise, but her eyes kept darting to her window. The cursed planet would not leave her be. Frustrated she dropped to the ground and went to her drawer for her clothes. Then into her bathroom as she dropped her sweaty tank top and her dark blue baggy sweats to the floor and entered the cooling, refreshing water that stroked the dirt and unclean appearance from her outer layer. How nice it felt, but it like the exercises took nothing out of her brain, but instead let the poison spread like wildfire.

When she was clean, her hand wiped out a clean slate of the mirror so she could floss, brush, and rinse. Nothing too exciting or something that she paid much detail too. Iris felt like a mindless soul as she collected her clothes to put in the hamper, but there was one missing factor. She wasn't mindless; no she was calculating how to approach her town. Obviously they didn't land on her city, that would be too much of a coincidence, but she would be able to travel to her home, or what she once called home that is. Iris went through all daily routines as her brain thought of how to knock on her door, see her secret place. All the thinking somehow landed her outside her room dressed, hair brushed, gun in its holster, and UDs in her coat pocket. Iris forced her feet to walk the interior of the ship. Sure she passed several people, but Iris was like a phantom to them; a phantom that never haunted but just existed. For this fact she knew it would be fine to leave the ship and travel Mars. Iris's boots clinked as she exited the ship into the early morning haze. Most people can't take the heat, but Iris grew up there so the heat wasn't as uncomfortable, but like most people when they ride a bike, if they aren't consistent they tend to forget, such as Iris did when it became midday as she was in a local shop trying to haggle for a decent pod to allow her to travel. By the end of it she obtained a nice vehicle with a very small price attached, and all to the thanks of her edgy look that some people have said she has, oh and let's not forget the fact she was carrying a weapon that she had no problem revealing. Yah that sort of did it for her. The travel to her city wasn't too long, but the pod ride was atrocious because while the pod was fast; it certainly by no means was clean. Iris would have preferred the noxious volcanic plains of Venus rather than this. Iris couldn't make it fast enough to the city when she came out with her back hand against her nose. No one starred because it wasn't an obnoxious movement where she wanted the world to know that she came out of a smelly car, and that's usually how Iris is. She's very subtle about things and doesn't like to dramatize everything. She simply has no need to do such antics.

Once she was out of the pod she starred at her town noting all the very little changes it underwent. Iris placed her hands into their respectful pockets in her coat as she walked the line of trash. No one seemed to be out because her city was mostly a night city, so all the thugs were sleeping and all the shop keepers were practically asleep against their counters. Iris didn't need to stop by anywhere though because she knew her destination by heart; as if she was just a school girl again leaving school to travel home with her brother, God rest his soul. Iris took the elevator to her old apartment floor. It still rattled and shaked just from lifting her weight, groaning out for someone to have a heart and fix it up please, and if not it threatened to kill someone soon by letting them drop. Iris had little pity for it. She walked past the rooms hearing not that much noise. Everything seemed to have a guilty silence about it, as if it the whole city knew of her brother and felt guilty of taking the one person she loved and cared about. It was right to be afraid of Iris, in fact most people were. Iris wasn't cruel or anything, but she was dangerous and deadly. Iris stopped her thoughts with a look as she stared at her old apartment door feeling small and inferior again. What was she to say? Hey dad, mom, I'm home, oh by the way my brother's dead; and I've joined a deadly syndicate, what about you? Such a thing was dramatized, but it all has the same effect. Iris lifted a hand as if it was a hammer and brought it to the door, but stopped and instead placed her ear upon the door listening for any give away sound. She would have liked to hear the tv running and the vacuum on, but no appliance of any sort could be detected as on. Looking down Iris decided to peer through the window. Of course the blinds were down, but the crack revealed some hope. Perhaps someone was home. Iris erected herself and began to knock upon the white sepulcher. The door creaked with sound as Iris knocked. She waited, but nothing came so she knocked harder, as most humans tend to do, but instead all it did was push the door out of its socket as it whined in protest to her while revealing a dark brown room with dim lighting.

Iris remembered standing in the vacant room with everything dusty with the red sands of time. Her parents had most certainly left, that or her mother was dead, because her mother would never in a million years leave this place like his. Iris could have done something sentimental and go to her room, sit on her bed and think of old toys, but really this was not her place of comfort. No, another place was the place to sit and remorse. Iris shut the door and retreated pausing at the elevator. It might have been better not to risk it, so she went the long way with the stairs. Iris left the apartment building and traveled the road her heart knew straight to the end where the Iris Goddess lived. The brightly colored shops dulled in comparison to light off the sun, but even less compared to the gleam against the pods and trinkets. Iris had arrived to her Never Neverland; a land that appeared not as it was, but what it meant. Iris let her fingers trail against the rough rust, even daring to pull the strings that brought her corners up. There was still silence, and this was how it used to be, except this time the silence had no one else to rebound off of and back to her. Iris stopped at the self made barricade she constructed those years ago and looked at the shelf made of steel. The past victims were still there, some even with the bullets left in. Like puppet master she pulled the corners of her lips up again while her right hand tapped the bunt of her gun. So fast the silence was kept unbroken, did Iris have the gun to her face in front of her torso aimed at a random object on the self made shelf. It wasn't the gunfire that broke the silence; it was the object rattling against the objects it hit as it fell to the dusty Mars. That was how she learned to be a sharpshooter. Iris then left to her own personal clearing. Her eyes, rather her eye, looked at the chipped pottery and the dried out soul, hard as rock. Then there looking as fragile as ever, hunched in a dying posture, was her Iris flowers. These were hers, and those, yes those over there were the- No she could not even think of her brother any more. It was too much and she felt her heart grow heavy in chest, sinking down the bowels of her digestive tract.

Letting the strings go, her lips curled downward into the usual flat line of a deceased heart. There was one last stop before her mind would rest at ease enough to let her get back in her pod and retreat to the ship. Iris had to now see the last sighting of her brother, the place she saw him at before he passed on. The time period no longer was bright and sleepy. Now instead it was brunch type and the business folk were out feeding their growing ego. Iris instead kept forward for twenty minutes, weaving through streets. The bar she entered was dim; her eye was thankful, and mostly barren. The tables that would later be filled with gamblers remained dirty and vacant. Iris sat upon a high chair at the bar while the bar tender asked her for drink. The hateful way he said gave her relief that he couldn't possibly remember her, for if he did he would have been friendly all the while calling the police to arrest her. It's always the polite ones that someone has to be careful with. If someone is mean and rude then you know they hate you and don't give a rat’s a** about you, but if they're nice then they want something and if they don't get it they sweet talk ya until you find yourself dead left nude in some homeless person's shack. Once given her drink Iris scanned for her table those years ago, and then scanned for his. From there her eye traced the vapors of her memory to the backdoor where he gave his last glance. Iris then looked at the bartender and questioned him if he's seen a certain description, which she did not mention was her brother. Before he could answer with lie or truth she gave him the UDs for her drink, and an extra one hundred for the truth. He took it and answered her that people come and go, and sometimes he sees that certain description, but none of them are exactly what she's looking for.

                  "[********' figures.
                  "

She got up, chugged the rest of her drink and left the man back to listening to his radio about the Ring 'Em Up show. It only made sense that he would want to see if her description matched any of the characters, or if she herself was some bounty, which thankfully she wasn't. Once outside Iris pulled out what she called death-in-paper, aka a cigarette, and stuck it in between her mouth. Now Iris wasn't an avid smoker, in fact if the only think she smoked semi-commonly when bribed enough was the hookah, because damn it it was good. However, the only time that Iris smoked cigarettes was when she was either really stressed or depressed. This doesn't happen often though because one pack will usually last her three to even five months. Right now was just one of those times that she needed it. It calmed her down to her usual self until she reached her pod. Taking one last whiff of it she proceeded to let gravity to take a hold of it and let the sole of her foot come down with a wrath of anything but a benevolent god. Iris hopped in the pod and aimed to get as far away from this place as possible. The return trip seemed twice as long as getting there, which wasn't favorable because the smell was still locked in with her. Iris returned the pod later with a warning that if she ever met this guy again she would shoot him, strip him of skin not clothes, and hang him by his fingernails because that's how bad the pod smelled. Hopefully it would teach him a lesson of doing this kind of s**t. Iris then neatly placed the keys on the counter and left neither smiling nor frowning. The only place that would calm her down long enough would be the firing range on the ship. Which comes back to Iris sitting on the ground, seeing his face, and feeling the silence around her shielded body.

It was very early when Yun-Hee woke up; in fact it was barely the next day when she was gently stroked awake by Kaemon’s hand. She planned it this way ever since she was given the news about Dawn. What she didn't account for was the delay with the planes. Frowning, she starred at the Korean symbols on the flight schedules. She would have to wait an extra thirty minutes to board the plane, and she was restless. Her cloak was itchy, and her shawl, well it was annoying. Sitting down, she waited for Kaemon to come with the coffee. Today she was going back for her final year at Mythica. Nothing special; just an ordinary school year as always. Excluding the fact about Dawn. She knew there was going to be a meeting today, but that was going to be many many hours later. The thing was that if she was late they would leave without her, and Channer would scold her or worse. Yun-Hee wasn’t afraid, since there are rare things or people that do scare her, but she was worrisome. She felt something in her gut, and either it was the dried seaweed she ate last night, or it was that today was not a good day to be late. Right now, it was still dark, actually if felt like night just begun. Yun-Hee remembered how she and Kaemon had planned to go to sleep really early as to not be so tried in the morning. All worked out well. They had eaten dinner at five, cleaned at six, and slept by seven. The only problem now was an unpredictable thing such as a delay in the planes because of the snow. Yun-Hee sighed silently and slid her head into her silky hands. Kaemon came sooner than expected holding the two cups of coffee in his hands and grinning from ear to ear. He sat down next to Yun-Hee, making her feel warm inside, and not from the coffee either. She gave him a brief smile as she took the coffee from him. When he sat down and started blowing on his own cup, Yun-Hee pointed over to the plane schedule board, and made lazy waves with her arms to indicate the plane was coming late. He looked up and his eye brows raised.

"Oh. Well that wasn't planned for."

Yun-Hee nodded and gave a silent sigh again, and this one was more of an apologetic sigh for keeping Kaemon out so late.

"Well I'll just stay with you until it comes."

Yun-Hee looked at Kaemon shocked. He was tired, and still had to drive back, and yet he was willing to stay with her. She felt her face grow red as she gave him a heartwarming smile. And so they waited for the plane to come. Hours later, Yun-Hee awoke on the plane as she felt she shawl slipping. Quickly she adjusted it and tied it back tighter. She looked around making sure no one saw, but everyone was asleep. Yun-Hee grew into this paranoia every time she was away from home or Mythica. Other mutants had the joy of hiding what they were. It was really troublesome though to those who had physical mutations. Yun-Hee was one of these in regards to her ears and wings. Placing a hand on her chest she relaxed and looked out her window. She could see the sun was just barely coming up. She hoped she wouldn't be late, that would be last thing she wanted to happen. She still had some time till the plane landed, so she decided to go back to sleep. In her dreams she would always see flashes of black against orange which was against red. Then all she could see were white lab coats and slanted eyes, but everything was too blurry and wet. These dreams always bothered her, but somehow they always managed to turn good at the end. She’d see Kaemon and someone else’s. The second face was a familiar face at one point, but then once at Mythica it would grow into a blue shade. Now however, it was red; a dim red though and it was never as bright as the blue once was.

Two hours later she was rushing out the airport waiting in the crisp cold trying to flag down a taxi. She had landed about half an hour ago, but it took ages trying to find her bag. When she had it she User Imagerushed outside looking for a cab. There was only two hours left. Her cell phone basically laughed at her because it was 8:16 am now and the meeting was in two hours, less than two actually by just a minute. As her arm frantically called for a yellow vehicle her mind was trying to calculate how much time it took to the school, finding her room, unloading her things, and guiding nervous freshmen around since it was her job as a prefect, all before the Dawn meeting at 10:15. The wind licked her wispy hair and her cheeks, but no matter how hard the wind blew Yun-Hee felt no cold. Her powers always kept her temperature at higher than average temperature. The reason being was her energy, or rather the energy she fed off the plants and sun. To be correct though it was the stars for her the previous night while she traveled to the airport. Finally, one had stopped and she quickly dumped her luggage in the back and entered in the back seat. The taxi driver gave a low whistle as he looked Yun-Hee over in the rear-view mirror.

"What's a girl like you doing out here this early, and all by yourself?"

With a crossed look, Yun-Hee shoved the piece of paper with the directions to the driver and then shoved the money at him. He took a look at the paper and then at her, and then at the money. Yun-Hee was running out of time and patience as she began to glare at the driver. Finally he shrugged and tucked the money into his pocket and began to drive. She rolled her eyes in the back. What kind of a line was that? For one thing it wasn’t early early. Only 8:21 as red by her phone, and lots of women travel by themselves. Yun-Hee starred out the window thinking it was probably just her dress that was the problem. She had a fashion of just wearing dresses, and it wasn’t her fault really; she had no idea that that was how she was programmed. Yun-Hee could see the sun coming up into the gray sky, and then disappear into the clouds. It was good that she absorbed all that energy from yesterday because it looked like it was about to snow. Biting her lip, she took her cell phone out and began to text Kaemon letting him know she was alright. Now she would have to wait some more. Yun-Hee starred at her phone's time and noticed it was already 8:30. She still had a good 45 minutes left. Slumping back, she just had to endure it. The only person that she felt she could text was him. Ares, or sometimes Cannon as others knew him by. It didn’t matter what she called him though because it’s not like he would ever know. Being a mute had its User Imageadvantages. She flipped open her phone and scrolled through her pictures to a later picture she took when they first started dating. It was him and her smiling as she took a picture of it. That was nice, but the little spark they held seemed to be fading away bit by bit. He started acting more rash towards her, and she felt like she was acting less and less responsible and loyal to him. She could not bring herself to admit that she loved him, especially since she had issues with that feeling, but she did care about him. Things were rocky, but Yun-Hee was hopeful for things to turn out better; with that little mind set she allowed herself to smile at the phone and sent him a message:

Good morning. I have to run some errands this morning, but maybe we can meet for lunch. We can eat on he roof, or if you really want to I suppose I could tread into the pub. Hey, maybe then afterwards we can go to the music store and search for some sheet music for both of us. c:

Around forty-five minutes later the road to Hog’s Town was viewed through the window as the taxi stopped.

"So, could I at least get your num-"

Yun-Hee had already slammed the door and was briskly walking to the trunk and popped it open grabbing her luggage. She then walked away in an apathetic mood towards the cab driver. It’s not as if she would ever see him again, and she was sure he felt the same as the cab drove away. When she could no longer hear the car, she took off her shawl and cloak. Finally, for almost a year, she was free again. No more itchy cloak, or annoying shawl. She was free and she was getting late. Her phone now told her it was 9:19 am. Less than an hour by now she had to be by the lake. The snow began to fall on her face and instantly melt. She allowed herself to look at the sky just for a minute to see the white pieces of innocence dance to the ground. Perhaps one day Yun-Hee will purposely run low on energy and feel the snow flakes, but not until she was no longer needed from Dawn. Going low on energy wouldn’t kill her, not unless she gave up the natural energy that humans produce, but it was still a stupid idea at the time User Imagebecause something was not safe. Yun-Hee managed to take some shortcuts to the girls dorms arriving there at 9:31. By the time she made it to her room it was several minutes later. Shifting her luggage to her other side she freed her hand to press her thumb against the cold scanner. Her door was unlocked and Yun-Hee proceeded in wondering if her roommate was in yet. Apparently not, so Yun-Hee was allowed to choose her own bed and which side of the wardrobe closet she wanted. Yun-Hee almost forgot about the meeting till she passed by the clock on the wall. Somehow she managed to kill 24 minutes, because now it glared out 9:55 at her. Yun-Hee grabbed her phone and left with her hair and dress flowing behind her. The problem was that she had to be discreet, which meant she couldn’t simply fly to her destination. All went well on the stairs and outside till she meet a freshman boy who sat completely confused on his luggage looking from map to the buildings. Making a quick decision she walked over to the boy who seemed to stare dumbfounded at her wings. This was a perfectly normal reaction to a first year at Mythica.

He began to mumble something about the boys’ dormitories and Yun-Hee borrowed his map and a sharpie. She drew lines on it that formed a trail to the other side of town where he was meant to be. He seemed to understand it, but he didn’t seem eager enough to leave. He stayed and asked for Yun-Hee’s name as he introduced himself as Mike. Quickly Yun-Hee wrote out, using her powers, Yun-Hee. Then she gave him a brief smile and began to walk away. Nervously she looked at her phone to see that she managed to lose more minutes. Yun-Hee took back short cuts in order not to lead directly to the meeting, and every so often she looked behind her. Finally she was on the path to the lake. However he phone was reading past ten. Worried and frustrated at her phone she put it away for good folding her arms around her not for warmth, but to keep her comfort. Being a mute didn’t mean she was stupid and any normal human can feel like something is wrong just like she did. Yun-Hee could then make out several people that seemed to be waiting for most likely her. First there was Ivy, noticeable as ever, Altair, another person she knew very little about, Cadence, a friendly acquaintance even if she did scold her from time to time, and Channer, who’s other was talking to Altair. At least she wasn’t dead last. Yun-Hee wasn’t fairly close with anyone her, but she stood a little closer to Cadence, since she was the friendliest to her. Yun-Hee made no motion to say hello or start a conversation. None of them probably
had the patience to see her say hello, nor did any of them seem to care whether she greeted them or not.
Most people seemed to care if Yun-Hee was around or not, but she didn’t blame them. People need to
rely on their basic senses, so how can they trust someone or let them in if they cannot even hear them?

Yun-Hee blinked several times as she tilted her head upward several degrees to view the snowflakes fall upon her wan, but yet warmer than average, skin. Once the snowflake fell on her face it melted turning into tiny droplets of water. Even if it did melt, she still found the beauty in the flakes falling like powdered sugar. She had made it on time, she thought in a relief sense. It was a good thing she calculated it the previous night with Kaemon. She remembered silly him trying to add more hours into her sleep. He was so thoughtful to her and she felt extremely blessed to have him in her life. Her vision of her memory faded as the sound of crunching snow approached her and Ivy.

      "Morning,"

Yun-Hee turned around to see Rath there nodding to Ivy and giving a soft, sincere smile to Yun-Hee. Now there's a girl that she could really appreciate. Rath was strong in her own way, but at the same time defiantly good, and sincere. Sincerity is something rare that people do not express often. Yun-Hee edged near to her as she wrote out welcome back, Yun-Hee. Yun-Hee took it as a respectful sign. She may not know how frustrating it is to communicate with people at her own level, but she understands the patience that is necessary for. Yun-Hee wrote back in golden letters: Thank you, and the same to you. The worlds stayed there like glowing fireflies until they faded and dripped to the floor like the sparkles that Yun-Hee sometimes leaves. Once they fell into the snow a path was melted to the dead strands of grass. The grasses then changed from a dry yellow color to a more freshly green. That's normally how her powers worked. Energy never truly gets wasted, it sometimes leaves traces of the energy and if they land on organic things, plants, people, etc. then they obtain the energy. Yun-Hee gave a final smile as Rath turned to Ivy and spoke. Yun-Hee was going to stare back into the sky as Ivy began to speak several words when her engineered ears twitched as they picked up a high pitched scream. Her head cracked like a whip as she turned towards the direction of Hog's Town and let out a silent gasp into the air; no sound was heard but the steam from her breath was visible. Suddenly her phone vibrated and she flipped it open to find a new text from Austin.

Bodyy fouund in thhe snow in Hog's TOwen, by cloock tower. BLood on ground says We'ree back. Can't take picture yet. Do you want me to stay wtih the body or go to the meeting?

Several seconds later Ivy was receiving a text herself. No doubt the same one that Yun-Hee received. She quickly shut her phone seeing no reason to answer this since Ivy had her own. However the information inside was enough to send chills up her back. A body? Who's body? Oh please don't let it be a student she thought. Or rather certain students that actually meant something to her. At the same time though if it wasn't a student Yun-Hee still felt sorrow. It meant that someone had just lost their life. Their energy had faded and left them completely. They would now slip away with all the other deceased life sources. At least that was Yun-Hee's own belief. Worried she turned to Ivy to see to expression and what was going to happen next.

"You may have gotten the message just now."

Yun-Hee nodded once to her as in indication of yes.

"There's a body at the clock tower. We gotta move. Quickly."

With those words, Yun-Hee was confirmed that they were to travel to Hog's Town immediately. Ivy had already left, but Yun-Hee suddenly received another text, which prevented her from taking flight already. It was from Cadence, who apparently left the area.

With the body in Hog’s Town. Person’s definitely dead, brutally killed. Coming to meeting.

User ImageYun-Hee felt that she would receiving many messages like this, so promptly she shut her phone and placed it away. Yun-Hee looked to Rath and gave a determined nod to her as she then flapped her human sized butterfly wings and took flight. The snow touched and fleed away from her skin as she flew above the trees. She arrived at the town fairly quick and landed on a building nearby the clock tower. She looked down on the scene of forming people around the body. A hand flew to her chest. Ordinarily people cover their mouth as to not speak; well Yun-Hee doesn't have this aspect, so her hand always falls to her hurting chest. It was no one recognizable, but it was still painful to see him all battered and cut with the blood all around him. What kind of a person, or mutant, could do that? Yun-Hee then noticed Ivy's green hair and she flew down to her seeing that she was talking to Cadence and the others. Yun-Hee came in hearing the end of what she was saying.

"Were you expecting praise? Expecting us to say, ‘Good job Cadence. Good job running off alone.’ Were you? Well news flash. Dawn’s a group. Meaning that there’s more than one person in it. It doesn’t matter how strong you think you are if you don’t know what’s out there."

Yun-Hee winced herself as if the words were meant for her. She knew they were for Cadence, but it was the merciless way that Ivy said them that stung. How cruel. This woman has no compassion in her soul. Dawn is supposed to be a unit against the enemy of Dusk, not each other. This was wrong, completely wrong, and Yun-Hee was about to step up and make hand gestures to Ivy telling her to back off a little when Channer came and held her back. Yun-Hee frowned a bit, but decided that all was well now that Chanenr was here, so she crossed her arms and stood as a mute. As Channer spoke Yun-Hee felt her mind wander as she peered at the ever growing crowd. It was so huge now and chaotic and poor Quinn was trying to keep everyone away. Then she spotted him, Nathan. It appeared as if he was walking away. He couldn't have seen her, but even if he did, what good would it do? He'd been avoided Yun-Hee the past couple of months, so she took it as him not wanting to be around her. As much as she tried to seem indifferent she knew it was a false pretending. She cared for him a lot, and ever since the accident she's been worried for him. Sometimes it was loud in her head, and then other times it as soft, but yet still User Imagethere in the back of her head. Then again, it wasn't her job to worry. It was Channer's. Quickly she looked away back into what Channer was saying.

"Let's not waste anymore time. I'm going to head over there and see what's going on. If anyone wants to fill me in the way that'd be great."

Yun-Hee automatically ruled herself out. Speaking. It was a huge weakness to her. Now she would just have to sink into the background again. Her importance had been lowered two bars. One for not actually knowing what was happening, and another because even if she did know she could not signal or write it out to Channer. She seemed positive that Channer was one who lacked the necessary patience that people needed with Yun-Hee. Cadence took up the opportunity to get closer to Channer and inform her of the situation. Yun-Hee was genially happy to see a friend regain her posture and remain civil despite Ivy's harsh and uncalled for remarks. Ivy even acted above herself to somewhat accept her apology and pay apologies as well. As was well again. Ivy then left to attend Channer no doubt to inquire about the situation, and Yun-Hee was again left alone like the mute she is. Her eyes starred through the crowd to the body and words. It had to be Dusk. It just had to be, and it made Yun-Hee worry even more. It's like they had anticipated a meeting for today. It was sort of obvious that a meeting would occur the first day, and so they must have done something big and distracting to unsettle the crowd and completely scatter their meeting. Something like this felt so simple and yet, horribly wrong and complex. How ha no one seen this happening? How early must they have committed this act?

The shadows. Oh those poor shadows, forever locked inside that tiny little box, which in fact was a city, within a city. All packed into the tiny little domino. There it rested. There they rested! Quick! To the start; one must initiate the start! All was set, but where was the enactor? There he was, tumbling down the stairs, through the pond, up the plugs, and around the cliff. A drum roll from the eager penguin as Luke bowed down to is humble dominos. With a flip of his hat and a skip in his kick, the first came slanting downward like the large mass of stone it was, heavy with the bodies, or was it the minds?

Bing! Biiiiiiing! Bing! Bi-bi-biiiiii bing!

Luke opened his weary eyes; those noticeable red stained eyes. Oh curse him for staying up too long, but those articles. Yes those articles, they had to be read, for information was needed. Now more than ever. Somehow moments later in the florescent lighting of his bathroom, he stood bare looking down at his feet in the shower. Always either looking up or straight down to his ten toes. Never across his immature abs for his eyes may wonder upwards and that was never pleasant. Time seemed to skip ahead as he was forced to look into the mirror with a snarl upon his lips, his fingers tracing along the condensation gathered on his mirror. The fire, oh how the fire burned within his throat, his chest, upon his back, among his arms. Enough, time was wasting, and he needed to be at that spot precisely at 6' o clock sharp. What time was it now? Well his faithful computer, which promptly woke him up from his already fading dream, read to him in green text that it was 2:47 am. Good, because from where Luke was he would be going against time. In a routine matter he began to unravel the long strips of bandages and commenced his mummification. So often was it done that Luke didn't even have to think twice of what he was doing. Instead he wrapped it up and clipped it as always on the side of his neck. After that childhood incident after the fire he never trusted the end of his bandages behind him. People were so unfaithful, and they were all traitors. Luke then slipped on a dark green t-shirt hoodie that held graphics on it that all seemed to relate around a Spade. The pants were already on, so all he was left with was his shoes and jacket. Luke grabbed his duffle bags, messenger bag, luggage, a large laptop bag, holding not one, but two laptops, and last was a small wrap around bag holding his many other electronics. His water-proof, 4G touch screen phone slept in his pocket, fully charged. He left his room not bothered by his large amount of supplies. He was in his kitchen taking a last look on the floor where he met her. Elke. Fine memories they were. Luke was inches away from pressing his fingers against his phone and dialing up a personal driver when his parents finally came pouring in, or rather Lauren came stumbling in while Connor kept her up, whispering in her ear.

"Oh sweet heart! I completely forgot! That's right, school's tomorrow."

"Mother, it's technically today."

"Oh same difference, oh honey don't bother ringing up a driver, you can just use ours. Connor, love will you stop the limo for Lucifer."

"Yah, sure. You just go ahead up to bed, I'll be there soon. Come on Luke, I'll give you a hand. Hrmp! Damn this is heavy. You sure you don't want a bigger bag? I've got loads in the spare room."

"No thanks father, I've got everything I need. Although if I need something else I'll be sure to ring you up. Huh!"

Luke packed his things inside the back of the limo. It wasn't exactly what he had in mind. Luke wanted something fast, but he couldn't pass up the opportunity to ride in something that was moving now. Luke did not embrace his father, but instead he took his hand and shook it firmly. They said their momentary good byes and Luke was left to pick at his jacket's lining while the driver began to drive to Luke's intended destination. After an hour of playing on his portable game station Luke decided he needed something faster. Let's see, what was fast enough and available for him at 4:19 am. Renting a car would be handy, but sadly nothing was open right now. Luke had a better idea. He called the driver to stop at the nearest house, and then leave him. In return for not telling his parents about this short stop Luke gave the man and extra $75. Luke rubbed his hands in the slowly chilling atmosphere. The first house only carried mini vans. Lame, lame, lame. Feeling dreary Luke whipped out his phone and let his fingertips relax on the screen. His body became stiff and his eyes turned from his beautiful blue-green, to a misty green color. The information fed into his brain so fast that it felt like home to him. His mind searched the web until he made it to this location, did a little hacking, and searched around for the owner of his new borrowed car. In less than 17 seconds he found this car located three houses over. Luke carried his things and stood in front of the electronic garage lock. How stupid this people were. Luke tapped the locking pad and easily opened the garage. Lucifer's lips were licked greedily as he gazed on the Acura NSX, a tad old, but fast enough for him. Luke held his hand against it shutting off the alarm and unlocked it. The next thing he knew he was on the street racing in the dark with the music blaring and his face, well it was eager and ready regardless of what time it was or how sleepy he was, or even the fact that he just robbed another car, but really what was he supposed to do? He couldn't bring his own car because well it wasn't allowed at precious perfect Mythica. The engine roared in agreement to Luke as he sped across the pavement at a speed which no one else would dare. There was no fear of getting pulled over, because if a cop appeared Luke would simply shut off all their technology, including their car.

"We all live in a technological world..."

After a section of time Luke was making his way towards Hog's Town. In order to bring little attention to himself he lightly flicked the radio and it shut off from his powers. His fingers tapped against the wheel and afterwards curled themselves around it like vines against a fence. He also began to slow down. Now what to do with the car? Well someone was bound to find it. Luke stopped it short about half a mile away
from Hog's Town, and after finding some paper stashed in the back pocket of the passenger seat he wrote on it some fake phone number and a sell price. There, now it looked like someone just wanted to sell their car, that or it was abandoned. There was no time to examine his handy work. No he had a date with Lottie and Elke to attend. Luke wasn't as fit as he should be, but at least he could run. A strange phenomenon with his legs of course and how muscular they were. He entered Hog's Town and took several pre-planned short-cuts away from the broad streets, which lead him to his destination. Seconds later Lottie arrived. Any other moment Luke would have been using this moment to scoot next to Lottie and whisper horrific nothings to her twisted ears, which quite possibly weren't hears, but instead some victim. Now was not the time though, no now there was only silence as he acknowledged her presence and stood with her in the ally waiting for the blue marble to roll down the pavement. Moments ticked by and the temptation to go over to Lottie and just ravish her with kisses came up in his brain like horrible virus contained pop-ups. Luke couldn't stand it anymore and figured just one little sweep with her wouldn't be harmful. Unfortunately as soon as he turned to her the sharp clicks of the marble crashing down the road were heard. Luke would have to be happy with simply holding her hand pretending to be some sort of couple for any wandering eyes. They made it to the ally way where Elke became visible again over the fairly sized drunk man. Silently Luke, Elke, and Lottie lifted and carried the body away to a safer place. Then it was Lottie's part. Elke looked away a bit disturbed, but Luke watched faced on smirking. Poor soul, but then again, not so poor. He was needed for something, so that made him important. He would die knowing he wasn't just a drunk man, but someone important for Luke. They carried what was left of him to the clock tower. People were still getting ready in their nice warm homes, while Luke, Elke, and Lottie ran in the falling ashes of snow to discard the body. Perfect. There was accumulated snow at the base of the highest point in Hog's Town; the clock tower. They dumped the body on the snow as the blood began to surge into the pure white innocence and taint it with the crimson red of sin. Together they divided the line and wrote the words "We're back". Elke left first mutter complaints of the blood, but she'd know what to do. Luke gave a smirk to Lottie and winked at her as she began to take her leave South. Luke quickly departed as well heading west to his pre-planned place. His things that he had in the car were exactly where he dropped them off prior to meeting with the girls. He entered the vacant and extremely dirty pub that was soon to lose its business to one of the other couple of pubs in town. The back of the pub held not a soul as Luke entered the grimy bathroom with the fizzing light. Luke promptly began to scrub at the already rusting blood against his fingers and bandages. He watched as the sin mixed with the water producing red wine into the faucet. Once it was done Luke pulled out the spare towel from his suitcase and dried his hands, and afterwards placing said towel into a plastic back. Next were his bandages. He reached at the color of his shirt and tugged on it pulling of his t-shirt hoodie exposing his bandages that ended a few inches above his belly button. His fingers slowly reached to the clip on the side of his neck while his eyes starred the mirror in a hateful way.

Luke left the pub just as he had entered; silently with not a soul around, except for the fact that he had on spot-clean bandages. He left his things hidden as before and only carried the plastic bag with him. He met the girls who waited for him by their agreed spot by the lake. His phone read to him the time of 7:06 am. All was still well. Luke combined his, Elke's and Lottie's things together in a bag, and being the lake monster as she is, she swam out to the lake doing her other task of sinking the evidence away to the lower bowels of the earth and to Lucifer. Elke was then dismissed to attend to her own things now that she had time before the 10:10 meeting. Then it was just Lottie and Luke, and he could feel the heat rising in his chest for her. He approached her and shoved his hands in his pocket looking like the bashful idiot he was around with her on occasions.

"Soooo I was thinking, that maybe later tonight after curfew we could meet up here and I'll bring some matches and we can have ourselves a genuine home cooked meal served with some zombie brains for you, and some screams of anguish for me, and then afterwards we can re-enact the Crucible by getting naked and dancing around the bonfire."

Luke winked at her and was going to listen to her response when his phone, obviously getting jealous of the tension appearing through the snow, buzzed loudly in his pocket telling him that it was 7:45 and he needed to go grab his luggage. Grunting Luke shrugged his shoulders and looked apologetic to Lottie.

"We'll discuss this later. I've got to run now. See you later hottie Lottie."

He winked once more grinning a large supposedly dashing smile. He then began to walk away in the bitter cold snow. He wasn't complaining, but he sure as hell wasn't used to it. Not yet that is. One day Lucifer would get used to the cold, because as Dante said, hell is actually freezing. Luke made it back to his location with minor difficulty as people began to crawl out of their dens like the insects they are. Luke didn't make it to boy's dormitories till 8:19. It was still fairly early, so Luke figured that his curiosity of his new dorm mate would have to settle down till later. Instantly he claimed his own bed, and left his clothes luggage untouched on his bed. Instead everything else concerned with his electronics was unzipped as he began to step up his regular station of sleep deprivation. After forty-five minutes of some solid work on his computers Luke decided to take a small rest on the bed; just five minutes at least. His five minutes turned into twenty-four minutes somehow and he awoke to the alarming time of 9:24. He had little under an hour to arrive to his meeting, which he claimed was important, but really it wasn't. Luke basically was having a test to see who would be the most loyal and would receive the best treatment Luke had to offer for his Duskies. The special Duskies who arrived on time and promptly would be receiving special tasks later on, as well as depending on their powers. Feeling more than slightly rested Luke stretched and left his room in a sluggish way. He wondered if anyone had found the body yet, probably not otherwise he'd be woken up from texts and such. Luke shivered a little in the cold as he made his way to a small grocery shop; he decided to get some special treats for someone very special who he would have to apologize to for ruining her morning with work. Luke walked around the aisles, looking confused as usual, searching for the damn fruits. Oh, there they were, all the way in the back next to vegetables. Luke looked at the oranges judging them. After selecting the two best he took one of the thin plastic bags and placed the fruit within them. Casually, giving nods to several people in a friendly way, he made his way to the beverage aisle, which was decorated with multiple fridges to keep the liquids cool. His voice muttered the clear glass as he read aloud several of the beverages searching for some damn green tea. Finally he found a large, yet thin, cylinder green can decorated with Sakura flowers and in fancy writing the words "Green Tea". He reached the cash register and quickly plucked several candies being showcased on the counter. All were sour of course. Luke ignored the total and simply paid with his own credit card and left with the bag of apology goods. Luke found his trusted phone yelling at him telling him it was 10:01 now and he had nine minutes to run down to the meeting. Luke made sure to seem as normal as possible when he heard the scream. Not being able to resist he walked in the other direction towards the looming clock tower. By the time he stood there, there was already several teenagers, adults, and even a teacher crowded around the scene. Luke opened his mouth and furrowed his eyebrows. Quickly he walked over to a girl he knew that he helped out once for the technology problems during one of the school's plays.

"Michelle, hey Michelle, what the heck is happening here? Can you see what's happening up there?"

"Oh Luke! Someone was killed, it's horrible. I think they're still trying to figure out who it is. There's blood everywhere though, and somebody wrote 'We're back' next to him, in the snow I think."

                              "My god..."

                              "I know it's so horrible!"

Luke then pretended to feel ill and began to run away muttering something about feeling queasy before he left her. She didn't care too much to follow after him or even look back and watch him run. It was just Luke after all.

As soon as Luke turned the corner he slowed his run to a dull pace and began to smile. It worked. Soon more would come, and somewhere in the crowd would be several Dawn members. Any chance of their meeting has been temporarily put off, giving Dusk the upper hand, and all it costed for Luke was a robbery, $75, and of course precious time to sleep. How the hell he managed to walk upright every day was a mystery. With one hand holding the goods, the other crept into his pocket, past his beloved phone, to the key to 7A. Earlier in the break Luke purchased a storage room, and for that storage room he literally bought junk to stuff in it. Seriously it was all random and huge, meant to cover the front, most of the interior, minus the back. He had skii's, large tvs, a grandfather clock, some antique lamps, even a couch somewhere, as well as numerous other things. Some things were pulled out for decoration, but the majority of things stayed in their respectful boxes. So maybe he was about five minutes off, he was just giving time to other Dusk members to show their loyalty. He turned the key and entered into the cramped entrance and locked the door behind him. He could hear the voices of no doubt impatient Duskies waiting to be told their information. Luke navigated through the rough interior until he squeezed his way into the small clearing seeing Cassius, Aaron, Renan, Rem with sweets apparently, a pissed off Shiloh, Indigo, and an amused Elke. Seven, not a bad turnout, but still disappointing considering he was missing several other Dusk members. That was excluding Raiden and Nathan of course. Luke cleared his throat and brought the attention to his smiling face.

"I'd like to thank you all my precious Duskies. As some of you are aware, the fun has indeed begun."

He began to walk across the clearing to a oak coat hanger, where he hung his bag of store-bought goods and paused there starring at the oak.

"It seems that several of you express thoughts of injure, I trust that in time you will trust me more enough to know that I do not take all the fun. Why that stunt with the body held a deeper purpose."

He then turned to everyone and took several pounding steps of silence towards them.

"Do you think that Dawn is relaxing, enjoying their first day back? If you're that naive then it seriously concerns me. That body held a purpose of distracting Dawn from their meeting, allowing us to meet and gain the upper hand. I trust that none of you has a problem with this correct? The whole killing part I mean. Sometimes y'know it takes a few lives to gain our goal, and I never said we'd play by playground rules did I? Grow up, the lot of you. This isn't just high school anymore. This is the matter of this new world; the world of mutants. For some of you the cure is what you want, and for others it's to bring down the curse that we were all either born with or had placed upon us by a lab of torture. Mark me, Mythica will fall and the cure will be ours. In order to ensure this, there are things you must all understand about how I and Elke work. We will not tell you everything that goes on, you will each have your own things to do, and we do this mainly for two reasons. First is that sometimes we don't need all of you at once, as eager as you all are to follow our orders, and the other is that in the event that one of you is captured or discovered by Dawn, we wouldn't want you spilling all of Dusk to them. I know it seems scary, but I can assure you all, you all mean so much to me. All of you are important to me, and if you were captured, trust me enough to bail you out. God forbid that ever happen, but if it does, then do not fret, I will rescue you. Now in order to ensure that something like that never happens I need you all to listen to these rules. One, under no circumstance are you to freely talk about Dusk to anyone, even if it's someone here, in public. The only time you talk about Dusk is if someone else who isn't a member of this organization brings it up in light conversation, and if so you must put on a face and act like a little scared sheep, which I know is hard for some of here to act scared, but at least try not to make yourself obvious. Next is of the utmost importance. You must follow everything I say, and in the event that I am busy you are to listen to Elke, she knows everything I know. Third, when coming to meetings please don't travel in large groups and don't make it obvious that you're about to go into a Dusk meeting, which brings me to the topic of this room. Obviously since you are all here I trust no one has lost their key. If you do, well you're going to have to just find it because no copies will be made, and you'll be on my naughty-list. Now we will only meet here occasionally, yes that means that this room is not listed as our "headquarters". Actually we really don't have an official HQ. If we are to meet somewhere else than here don't worry I, or Elke, will send out texts to all of you. Third rule, there is no leaving Dusk. You can just rule out that thought, but I'm sure that all my Duskies wouldn't do that. How else would you get a cure? Following that rule is the one saying that from this moment on you will have to be careful with your actions. This is the year that Mythica falls and I do not want anything going bad. That means that everyone you meet who isn't a part of Dusk is a possible Dawn member, so you should be careful about them. Well I'd say that's enough of dull rules, now for the fun part. I have a mission for all of you that concerns only your own selves. For this entire year, starting now, I need you all to slice out some time about once a week and practice your powers and I mean really practice them. No more trying to "contain" your powers like the school has been trying to cast over us. In order to be free, we must reach the highest potential of our powers in order to ensure our victory. Just find a spot somewhere in that epic long forest and I don't think it matters much if someone sees you. It'll just seem like you're trying to test your powers, which lots of students around here do anyways just to show off. As an added bonus for all of you I can assure you that next time you'll get the fun mission. You'll all have your own special parts for this, and this is your reward for coming in on time."

Luke ended his speech with a wink and smirk. He needed to go see Nathan now. He then walked over to the coat hanger and grabbed his goods.

"Well yah that's mostly it. Remember leave this place one by one and try to fit in. No doubt that group at the body is growing, so you should stop by in order to lessen the suspicion of where you were during the event. Oh one more thing."

Luke stopped over at Rem and selected one of the left over cupcakes. He then bent over and placed a small kiss against her cheek and winked.

                              "You're a doll Rem."

Luke took one last look behind him at everyone.

"Shiloh contain yourself a little, you'll get to blow things up later. Renan keep it the same you ********. Lighten up Aaron, it's not like you're the one out there by the clock tower. Elke you've got them now, so make sure they exit this place wisely. That is unless you guys want to stay in this musty place, but I don't see why. So long Cass, you too Indigo. Oh hey, maybe we can chill later together with Raiden. Text me! So long!"

The door clacked shut behind him as he began heading towards the spot where Nathan would be moments later. Luke whistled though the streets as he tapped the screen of his phone and felt his mind turn into 1s and 0s as he traveled through places until he reached the government and with a bored expression hacked into it till he reached the satellites and narrowed the viewing to his location scrolling around till he found Nathan. He was on his way. Luke kept track of him as he entered the forest. When Nathan stopped moving Luke followed his location and let go of his phone to see Nathan standing in the snow like a good dog.

"Forgive my tardiness, but these weren't exactly on the magazine rack."

The green-blue eyes of Lucifer narrowed as he stepped out from the shadows of the white snow.

"Excuses, excuses, that's all you seem to make, and here I was trying to be kind and give you extra time, and this is the thanks I receive. No matter I guess, you have what I need, and that's all that matters. Just hand them over."

Nathan gave the blueprints to Lucifer's greedy hands, and his eyes seemed to glow with anticipation.

"I suppose you're free to go about your day. You didn't miss much in the meeting. Just trying to get the loyal Duskies prepared for what's going to happen. No go and secretly promote us with your fake face of humbleness. Go and have everyone swoon at your feet, and grab your woman, Channel or whatever her name is. You make me sick looking at you, and I much prefer to see you tortured by the thousands of adoring fans."

Luke left Nathan with that final thought as he shivered in the cold again, why the hell wasn't Lucifer used to this yet? It's like he was forever tormented with the chill of hell, never to get used to it. No matter, all that mattered now was Raiden, who he just realized he was late for.

                              "s**t s**t!"

He began to sprint towards the western bridge with the goods, that he was now grateful to have, swinging beside him as if to taunt him for the punishment Raiden would bestow on him. Perhaps she would be late, and then he wouldn't have to go through the pain of having her yell at him in Chinese, although he did sometimes find that extremely hott. Ah, too late, she was already there in all her glory, damn she had a fine body. Too bad she was too pissed right now to care. He slowed his pace as he edged up behind her. Ok, so maybe she wouldn't figure out his was a couple of minutes late. If she did get mad, then he'd have to punish Nathan later for it. Nathan was the easy scapegoat.

"Why hello my little blue spark. Now, I know you're probably upset at me for being a little bit late, but before you throw cruses at me in Chinese, I offer a gift, that perhaps we can share if you would like."

He held up the bag filled with the two oranges, the can of green tea, and small decorated sour candies. He gave her a sheepish grin and his uh-oh grin on. She would mostly still curse him out. See it wasn't the person he killed, or the things he done, or even the things he made people do that scared him. No, what really made him nervous was the hell Raiden would perhaps unleash upon Lucifer.

just xxx now xxx leaving xxx her xxx dorm xxx walking xxx and xxx talking xxx with xxx Nicolás xxx heading xxx to xxx the xxx Dinning xxx hall xxx and xxx being xxx super xxx excitedxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

There can be no way to describe how excited Chloe was to be part of the top eight. In her dorm common room, Inti, home of the wolves. She was just soaking up not the cheers and claps as they lifted her up, but her own inner glory of her being considered one of the top eight. It made her even happier that Nicolás was as well, but she knew personally that he was going to decline actually entering. It kind of made her a little disappointed knowing this because Nicolás was probably the only one out of the eight that was modest and humble enough to decline, and if anything he deserved to be their champion. On the other hand he had his own reasons for his decisions. He was a Janonca secretly kept from the school, and if brought out in attention like that someone was bound to discover what he was. Chloe pushed the sad thoughts out of her head as she finally spoke up.

"Ay, ay, no más! Put me down, Nicolás esta waiting for me. I'll see you all at the feast."

Grinning and joking they finally let her down as she smoothed herself a little better. She probably would not have gotten this much attention from everyone in her house if Leo was around. Where was that wonderful guapo by anyways? Chloe pursed her lips and decided he was probably already down at the feast. She gave everyone a final wave and exited her common room, weaving through hallways. Nicolás promised that he would meet her somewhere close. She didn't define this as close however. She felt her nerves grow impatient as she searched for him. Chloe planned on giving up until she heard a small groaning from a darkened pillar. Curious Chloe rushed over to see Nicolás leaning on it looking pale, even though he was perfectly tan. Distressed she rushed over to him as he weakly smiled. The new moon was approaching, and it always made Nicolás sick, and he would be this way till the later years in his life. Nicolás had only been a Janonca for barely six years, and still he wasn't in complete control over it. In a sickly smile he waved her off.

"Tsk, no me jodas. I'm fine, I'm fine. Come on let's go eat. Estoy hambre."

He chuckled weakly, but Chloe wasn't convinced; however, she wasn't going to bother him about it because it would only bother him. She took his hand and they walked together through the dimming moonlight. As they got closer to their great hall the halls around them became more vibrant and full of life. Soon enough they were in well lighted areas with students from various committees setting up the place. Tomorrow she'd wake up and the students from the three other schools would be coming. Forget this whole killer thing, it was probably just a myth anyways. It was like forever ago, so it had to be some made up rumor right? She waved away those thoughts as she sent Holas from person to person. Chloe smiled to all of them while Nicolás gave brief smiles, but yet meaningful smiles. Chloe thought that should he be at the peak of his strength the smiles from him could have beaten hers in a heartbeat. Chloe had friends yes, but none were really best friends. She was mostly just a lone wolf deal. The only person that she associated herself for long periods of time was her cousin Nicolás who should totally be her brother at times. Then again, their families lived right next to each other, so it was like they were brother and sister in heart. Those in Ataguchu though knew this to be common in South America. That's just how the culture was. The finally made it to their grand entrance with Chloe's arm linked with Nicolás's and her mouth grinning from ear to ear. Inti of course boomed at her arrival. Lifting up her free arm she made a fist and struck it into the air. People would have to beware of her. This would surely dispel the rumors and pictures that Chloe Diaz was a fragile flower. It was all from her mother really, taking all those damn pictures of her all glossed up. It's like she was asking her to get married already. Chloe was more than certain that it was Nicolás who started sending the pictures around to mess with her.

So when she gave her triumphant air punch and victory yell, she could hear Nicolás stifling a laugh hidden in a cough. She elbowed him and glided over to her table. Chloe again was just soaking up her own personal cheers. The people of Inti were probably only cheering for her because Leo was still not there yet. It didn't bother her though she chatted with several of her friends dragging Nicolás around with her. She just enjoyed his company and his little comments, but she made sure not to dominate him and eventually let him join his house, Pariacaca. Finally she could feel her stomach rumbling, so she let him go and sat down between two of her girlfriends. Chloe listened and added in comments here and there as she ate. Suddenly Inti erupted again and she looked over to see Leo had arrived. She eyed him over with a smile, no hostility at all. That just wasn't in her nature. Most people were vain enough succumb to the tensions and openly, verbally bring down their opposes and portray themselves as superior. Chloe did no such thing. Doing that would be incredible stupid. Yes she had faith in herself, but she knew that Leo wasn't someone to underestimate. Both of them were Inti so it was natural that both would be solid, strong choices. Her friends nudged her a little bit as he was being just as well groomed from Inti as she was. She rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue at them. They began a giggle fest, and Chloe couldn't help laughing with them in all the commotion. Let's face it Chloe could have passed for being tipsy. She was just filled on the energy of tomorrow. She even entered the stage where she was just so excited that she couldn't eat anymore and she needed to release this pent up energy. What she wanted more than anything right now was to go outside hook up the bungee cord and just sky dive off the side of the school. Nothing would please her more than doing this. Slowly her eyes closed as the noise became blocked in her ears and could even feel the wind against her face.

            "Oy, Chloe? Estas aquí?"

Chloe opened her eyes to see her friends starring at her questioningly. This is why no one really conversed with her except for Nicolás. Feeling like it was time to escape these friends she got up and bid them adios. Chloe walked along the table and decided to use Leo as an excuse for her sudden departure with her previous friends. She swung herself over in a seat next to him, which was pretty lucky to find actually. He seemed to be mid-eating as Chloe proped her head up against her palm with her elbow against the fine table. She gave him a friendly grin as she spoke to him; there was nothing that said they couldn't still be friendly with each other even though they were all competiting for that one spot for Ataguchu.

"Hola! Aha, estas hambre? You seem hungry Leo, but I don't blame you. Tomorrow's a big day."

There wasn't much else she could say because she didn't want to overwhelm poor Leo with conversation while he was eating, and worse that it was with her Chloe. Not exactly an outcast, but not in with the in-crowd either.

Charles sighed as Tyler began to shrug off the female. Tyler was his best friend, but sometimes he questioned if he was doing the right thing for Izzy.

"You're right, listen I'm really sorry man. Hey what are you just starring there for woman? I said leave! Damn, I really hate non-purebloods you know. Oh yah, sorry. It's date time. So where's the lucky girl?"

Charles wasn't really phased at all about how Tyler treated the girl, who seemed to run away in what looked like tears. Charles did consider them people, but the truth of the matter was that Charles wasn't a Deatheater for nothing. He saw non-purebloods as lower than him. Half-bloods were tolerable, but it was the damn mudbloods that smelled like a foul stench in his nose, but he would never admit to this. Charles adjusted his mask a little and pointed over to his princess sister. Charles coughed a little and prepared to scoot a little for Tyler to head to Izzy, but when he looked up he could see Tyler completely entranced. His eye brows furrowed as he followed Tyler's eyes to Izzy. A lop-sided grin came on Charles's face as he notice a small smirk in Tyler. Perhaps Izzy would have a nice enjoyable night.

"Charles, I believe I owe a beautiful divinity a dance."

                    "She's all yours tiger. Haha."

Charles watched him leave and turned around. However when he looked at Izzy again he began to frown and groan. The worst possible thing that could have happened to Izzy was happening. Gabby was there. It looked like they were talking, but from where Charles was standing he could just feel the cold air wafting around and the sound of nails on chalkboard. Then of course ******** Nathan has to go and make matters worse by showing up next to Gabby. Reactively Charles gripped the sword hilt and took a step, but immediately calmed himself. Izzy asked for no interference. She wouldn't forgive Charles for almost a month if he pulled out the real sword and challenged Nathan. Besides in the next moment Tyler was there to save the day. Charles sighed in relief as Tyler took away Izzy from the possible pain. As the couple passed by Charles gave a quick nod to them and winked. Now all he had to do was wait for Char. However, all he could think about was Anna. He knew he saw her, and with some other man. Anna always seemed to be with someone else than with Charles. It he was alone and had more time to think then it would have been certain that he actually would have cried. Still he was a man, so crying didn't come in at all. Suddenly he felt an arm crawl up into his.

How long have you been waiting for little ol’ me?

Charles grinned as Char slinked into him like the perfect snake she was. He may not have loved her, but he downright adored her to pieces. He bent over to give her a kiss on her cheek as a greeting and whispered to her.

"Not very long, but I'd wait an eternity for you."

User ImageSorry I took so long, I had to be absolutely dazzling, you know. A Zabini cannot look less than impeccable, but I am sure you understand. You look fabulous, by the way.

"Oh you shouldn't be sorry, not at all. You're always sparkling my bitter sweet Char. And I try, well not really it just comes naturally. Ahaha. Come on let's go."

Come on, Charles, we should go dance. Besides, our outfits are too awesome to keep from the prying eyes of all the other dumbasses in this school.

With that, they left together into the Great Hall where numerous envious people starred at the couple. Char was sexy with a pretty face, and Charles has been told to have a heart breaker face with body to back it up. Char pulled Charles to the center and he did not resist in the slightest. As the jester of the school he was used to being the center of attention, so now as a prince he was just as relaxed as ever. He began to spin around in an elegant dance with Char, and everything was going so well until some idiot decided to bump into them causing Charles to stumble a bit as well as Char, but being quick, Charles made sure to catch Char so that she didn't even phase in slightest. When Charles regained his own posture he turned around to see the fricking idiot who was probably already wasted. What he got was so much worse though. It was Antonio with Milo. What did they both get so drunk, snogged a bit, then decided to act like fools in here?

User ImageSorry man, didn’t see ya there. I hope I didn’t hurt either of you…Are you okay? I really didn’t mean to run into you guys.

Charles took a look with Milo with eyes filled with pain and confusion. Why the ******** did she choose Antonio? He was and never will be good enough for her. At all. Charles glared at Antonio. Izzy had her own ways with fighting with Gabby, and Charles had his. There was a reason why he brought a real sword. His hand curled up against it as he spat his venom filled words at him.

"Oh yeah sure mate. I'm sure this was all just a ******** coincidence. Well Antonio you've pushed me for the last bloody-"

Suddenly something big came in his way and startled him a little. It was Freddie, one of the few people who sure knew how to calm him down.

Ey, mate! If you weren’t so straight I’d tell you how hot you look.

Charles patted him on the shoulder with a smile.

User Image"Dude the compliments I can handle, it's the trying to pull me into bed that draws the line. Ahah!"

All of Charles's steam seemed to wear off as Freddie talked with Antonio and Milo. He then spoke to Char, but just because the incentive to kill Antonio was gone, didn't mean the hurt that what Milo did to him was. When Freddie was gone Charles murmured something to Char about getting some fresh air. He then shoved Antonio rudely and with a swish of his cake was out of the Great Hall. He sauntered back and forth fuming around. ******** Antonio could go to bloody ******** hell. Charles stood still and tried to regain his breath when another pair of female arms reached up and around him. Charles turned a little to see it was Cecilia, his best friend come to save the day. His sighed in relief and cuddled into her a bit.

Is it off with someone’s head tonight?

Charles chuckled and then answered, "I wish it would have been Antonio's but I don't want to risk getting blood on my expensive outfit. He just isn't worth it. By the way love, nice attire. You look like you're getting ready to follow me into bed. Just joking. You still look stunning. So which of the thousand of males have you chosen as your accessory tonight?"

                    "How much?"

User ImageCharles meant to hear what she said, but another pair of arms wrapped around her. Kyle had clearly noticed Cecilia as well. Shrugging Charles gave a wave to Cecilia and decided to give her time alone with Kyle.

"Well I'll see you later Cecilia. I better get back to Char or it's off with me head. Ha!"

Charles noticed that Milo and Antonio were gone so everything was better again. Izzy was making quite a connection with Tyler so that was even better news. The storm in his chest seemed to dull into a spring morning's light mist. Everything was hectic, but now he should at least be in some piece. With a bow to Char he picked up her hand and led her to the dance floor. She might as well get what she wants as well this night. One of them had to at least.

Alena up until now made light conversation with anyone who didn't seemed to have a distaste for the company. Other than that, that was mostly it for her. It's not that she was anti-social because she wasn't, but it was the fact that the majority of the members on board spoke English. Growing up knowing Russian, and spending the majority of her studies in France, Alena didn't have much of the practice in English. The other factor was everyone else. Since it was still fairly early Alena hadn't much of the chance to see people's personalities, and so she was stuck in the rec. room setting up the cards to play Speed, eye someone, then stack the cards back feeling like a first grader again. By now though she had given up and was reduced to playing the lone wolf, or on the opposite end of the spectrum, the saddest card game; Solitare.

The nine of spades was in her hand ready to be placed on the ten of hearts when Nicolas announced that dinner was served. Alena quickly untangled her criss-crossed legs that were rested in the chair as her hands quickly flipped and gathered the rest of the cards. It was only polite to leave things as they were, so once the deck was whole she shuffled it once or twice, she didn't really keep count, and slid the deck back into its container. She then got up heading past Ryan, or was it Mercer? She wasn't sure. She also past by Laylana, or perhaps Larkspur? Again she wasn't sure. Sometimes, Alena thought, it would just be better if we were all in first grade again back with the name tags up on our chest. Often she felt that things could be much more simple if adults didn't get caught up in trying to seem smart, when really the best solution could be something a child dreams up.

No more of that thinking though because Alena had to eat pretty quickly. The examinations had begun, and she was pretty sure she put her name after Robbie, or perhaps it was Hughes? Alena found a spot and immediately crossed her legs again in her chair and reached over with a smile. The food smelled great to her, and why shouldn't it? Food is food. She might as well live with whatever is given to her because it's not like she has a choice. Her plated had a small portion of rice, with a little larger portion of the vegetables, which her parents got her used to at a young age, her fried fish, and her baked potato. Alena dove for the vegetables, which her grandparents had her growing up believing that vegetables made you fly, which is what she always wanted, and since then just became a habit. Robbie, or Hughes, wasn't as the table, so Alena concluded that she must be getting examined, meaning she probably should act with a little more haste. Her fork loaded a little of the rice, until her mind decided that she wanted her fish instead now. Inside her mouth gushed over the fish as the taste warmed her body. It wasn't bad, not in the very least.

"Nicolas," she decided to call him after hearing that Markus, or Park, as well as Karen, or perhaps it was Rossler, called him as, "this fish is ah, uhm," Alena paused for a moment trying to find the right slang talk she remembered,"is to be killed for." She added with a smile, and then just felt stupid, that couldn't be it. "No wait, держите дальше..." she mumbled to herself trying to figure it out. Suddenly she snapped her fingers,"It's to die for." This time she felt confident as she smiled. It was a still a little strong of wording, but it still came across that it wasn't as bad as others perhaps thought it may have been.

The fork of Alena's was used to cut another piece out of the fish, because Alena simply was acting too lazy to grab her knife. Although, why should she use a knife? Fish is soft and tender enough to be broken with a fork, so why bother with the onerous task of grabbing a knife? Alena took the piece and inserted it into her mouth completely oblivious of the reactions she was getting from her speaking mishap. It didn't matter though, in due time she knew she'd be better at her English. Her only concern was the fact that some of the other crew members might think her unintelligent, so much so that she couldn't hold up a proper conversation, which she could if she practiced hard enough just as she did for her interview, or even worse start to pity her. That was the only thing she wasn't too keen with. She loathed people thinking her a shy, quiet, and dependent. Alena hated to be thought of as weak when she knew she wasn't.

Her knees bounced up and down lightly in their criss-crossed position on the chair. She didn't even notice she was doing it. Alena had this issue ever since she could remember, and one of her brother's had it as well. They were both convinced it was Restless Leg Syndrome, but her grandparents scolded them out of taking it seriously saying that was some "American excuse" to take meds. Alena finished that bite an took another one right out of the fish when Markus, which she just now decided to address him as since he called her Alena, spoke to her. Gin Rummy, she knew the name, and she was familiar with the game; however, the last time she played it was once in the boarding school in France until she lost it one day when she let her roommate borrow it.

"I remember most of it, but I am afraid I have not played it very much since I was a lot younger. But! I am sure I can re-learn it quickly." She gave him a genuine smile, and went back to her eating. Her only pride was the ability to learn fast. Hence, as she has already done with several of the personalities and names she should address others as. Alena finished with her fish, and all that was left was in her mind the best part, the baked potato. She looked up as she reached for it, and noticed Nicolas's behavior. Her face held a tiny smile as she minded her own business with the potato. She traveled over Europe for two years, so of course she could tell the sort of behavior Nicolas was initiating in the presence of Markus. To her it was normal, and not un-common from what she had seen in those two years, so she felt no awkward feelings, or need to glance back up again. She did however, look up to acknowledge Ryan, or Mercer since she wasn't quite sure yet, as he commented on the cooking as well. Alena then went back to her food playing with two thoughts: How soon was her own examination? And the realization of what she was going to drink, seeing as she forgot to grab herself a beverage.

Lucifer sighed as he finished up writing a response to a forum guild he was a part of. Once his statement was posted he exited out, locked his computer, and shut it off with a simple blink as he rubbed his face. Luke was usually tired, but these days he was even more worn out. Dusk needed plans to attack soon, which they would tonight. Still, it was a bit of a hassle on his part. Not to mention he was starting to get some Nathan-esque vibes from some of the other Duskies. Aaron for sure was one of them. If he proved loyal tonight then Luke promised to treat him a little better and not start tabbing him. No one ever wants to be tabbed by Lucifer Fletcher. Then of course there was also Shiloh. Perhaps it wasn't betrayal he was worried about with him, but instead a mutiny. If he performed well tonight as well then he too would be moved up a shelf in the hierarchy of Luke's mind. He did his prior mission pretty well seeing as Luke was able to sense his electronic chips floating all around the school. Several already in some of the student body. Everyone was oblivious of it, except for some of the Dusks and Elke. He made sure that no one could trace it with his powers unless they were specifically looking for it, but come on. No other Technopath would even dream to think of tiny electronics floating around in the school system. For one thing, they would think them crazy for putting technology in water, which is why Lucifer did have to make sure that all the bodies were coated with water-proof textures.

Lucifer yawned as he got up and stretched. His dorm room was empty so he felt free to start exchanging his old bandages for some fresh new ones. He made sure not to look at them as he slung a fresh roll over him. He should have been nervous, but he wasn't. He should have been obsessing over the fact that one person's slip up could cost everything to Dusk, but he felt safe enough. He personally stayed up making the contraptions after the subtle date with Raiden on the first day of school. In his secret place, that no one, not even Elke knew about, he did an all-nighter using his powers and his own two hands to create tiny edible chips, able to store tiny amounts of power inside of it. Abrin to be precise. It took him two days during his free time just to simply make 2,000 of those bodies. It didn't cost much for supplies, but it certainly took a lot of time and sweat. Once Luke was done with his bandages he slipped on a white button-up shirt with a green vest over it, which would match Lottie's colors, as they had planned. If anything, tonight he felt extremely anxious for his date, Lottie. He remembered that it was sort of a non-negotiable mission, but he was polite enough to ask for her to properly be his date. What luck that she had said yes. Not only would she be a great cover-up for him, but now he had an excuse to kiss her.

He snickered at the thought of how Creature would react. Speaking of which, he hoped that Creature had everything set up for tonight. No one ever wants to miss a chance at some fireworks. Especially when it contains a great message with some background music of dorms exploding. The sound of the exploding dorm rooms would be fantastic. Luke could almost hear the screams now as he slipped on his silver tux. Creature on the other hand must feel so jealous about him and his opportunity to kiss Lottie, besides he felt he deserved it after all he has done for everyone. Well except for Nathan, and sadly Mercury and Remi. For Nathan it was perfectly acceptable to have him be one of the Dusk members drinking the school water. It would give him about a day or two of severe suffering, and put him down even more for his betrayal. Lucky for him though he couldn't very well have him dying, neither Remi so he conducted a dry pill of activated charcoal, which in a sense was the cure. Hopefully the school wouldn't find out becaue then it would be mean less mutant scums, since the Abrin was fatal anyhow, but Lucifer knew better that eventually the school would find the cure and the day would be saved. Still, to ensure it he gave Nathan and Remi a pill to swallow after 24 hours. That way they get better and the school has one less suspicion. Mercury on the other hand was having her room blown up, which he knew was probably very harsh on his part, but his objective was to get as many Duskies out of the red zone of suspicion as fast as possible. He tried at least to make it up to her by telling her he'd buy all her other stuff back that wasn't safely in Raiden and Indigo's room, and he even set her out with a makeup squad to sparkle her up for the dance, not that she wasn't beautiful in her own way, which he always thought she was, but others can be fickle, so he needed to open their eyes. Luke tugged at his silver jacket, peering into the mirror as he judged himself. Not too bad if he said so himself. He looked good, the bombs in Mercury and Aaron's room has been planted, Shiloh distributed the microchips in the plumbing, Creature buried the fireworks, Elijah and himself both took care of the cameras, Nathan and Remi both swallowed the school's water, and they had Ivy Maddox to thank for all this to come true. He bowed to the imaginary Ivy in his head, and with a cheeky smile exited his dorm room giving hellos to the guys he passed by. She didn't know that she just armed Dusk with a horrendous poison, but she did. For capturing her he had Cassius, Elke, Indigo, and Renan. That an plain dumb luck, he thought as he entered the elevator with some other males who were trying to figure out how to tie a tie together. Smiling Luke reached over and quickly tied it for one of them, and then showed them how to do it for the other male. They thanked him, and were gone racing down the next floor to some other friends, probably going to show them how they can tie a tie. It really wasn't that hard though, or perhaps it wasn't that hard for Luke to tie a tie, solely because of all the parties he had to endure for his mother. As he exited the elevator and into Hog's Town he remembered how they were able to make all of tonight happen. Ivy just happened to be walking somewhere, and from the shadows Cassius came and knocked her out. Luke tracked him, and carefully they brought her into the building avoiding all of the cameras thanks to Raiden who on the first day of school was sent with the mission of finding all the cameras and their blind spots. They traveled via these blind spots, and eventually made it through to the wash room, aka the dungeon. Not a soul had witnessed this thanks to Luke's tracking. It was almost too easy, except for the Ivy part. He remembered that if it wasn't for Indigo controlling her that Ivy would have never produced the Abrin. But he believed in Indigo and was pulling for her all the way, because he knew how much of a leap that was for her. It tugged at his heart, it really did, but they needed this done, and she got it done. Indigo was instantly placed on one of his higher shelves for doing so.

Luke shivered a bit as his body changed from the warm inside to the chilling outside terrain. The snow was cleaned up, but it was still falling. It almost reminded him of how Renan wiped Ivy's memory of what she did. The proof would still come, but no traces of it were left. Luke and Elke made sure that nothing was left. Poor girl though. Once her memory was replaced with her tripping over a rock and hitting her head, Luke had to for real knock her out and make sure there was a bruise where she fell. Otherwise it wouldn't have been convincing to her own self. Luke shoved his hands in his pocket as he began to truck onto the other side of Hog's Town to meet Lottie. Everything about tonight was so perfect. The only thing he was worried about was Raiden. He had been avoiding her lately because of the fact that he didn't ask her.
He asked Lottie to the dance. He did say they were over, but they were still meeting and having dates, but this was the first time when he was publically out on a date with someone else. Word got out, and the news was that Raiden was bent on getting's someone's blood. He still promised her that he would have one dance with her, but even still, the fact remained that he had chosen Lottie, which is who he wanted. His tongue licked along his lips to freshen them up in the cold. The town seemed to be alive with bustle as guys and girls alike were running around for their dates. Lucifer said hi to the majority of them, being friendly, but not attracting attention. Any one of them could have been from Dawn. Well, Dusk was already on this, for some of the others without a major mission, they had to go and dig up some dirt on several characters that might either join Dusk, or are in Dawn. It's one or the other. Luke passed the clock tower gazing down where the body was laid some number of days ago. This tower would forever be marked with blood. Dusk would leave a standing mark on their world. Shrugging, Luke moved on passing some shriveled up flowers that were days away from just wilting and collapsing. Lucifer picked them up finding them perfect for Lottie. Lottie was never the girl who wanted fresh preppy smelly flowers. No she preferred things dead. Luke starting bending them this way and that, and with some pieces of scrap metal that jingled in his pocket, yes as President of the Electronics Club Luke always had some scrap metal on him, he used his powers connecting them together and with a bit of spare wire forming an electronic current. Let's see what other girls were wearing light up flowers on their wrist. Lottie would definitely steal the show. Now all he had to do was wait for her, as he was, outside of the girls dorms, as many other guys were, and soon they would head to the dance, they would dance, then make-out, and then he would give Creature the signal, the fireworks would go off, he'd then activate the bombs, and as a finale trigger the thousands of small microchips flowing around in about 50 or so mutants and release the Abrin acting as bad as the Red Death. With all hope, tonight would go perfectly and horribly. Dawn may always rise, but let's not forget that the Dusk is always waiting to swallow it up.

You are one of the many that have no idea what is at the island. You and The Intern were taken away from your dig by the government for the purpose of being moved to another dig. You know that they asked for you because you're one of the most reknowned among your field. You weren't allowed to tell anyone of this dig and was given hush money by the government. Now you know something is up because islands aren't normally on your dig sites and by the company you and The Intern have met in the helicopter. To be honest you feel like this was a big mistake and feel horrible for bringing The Intern along with you.

If it wasn't for you, you know that The Paleontologist would be going crazy from this whole situation. You keep telling him to chill though. He thinks that something is up, but you don't seem to think so. Besides the money the government gave helped you pay your rent. Ok, so you don't exactly know what's at the island, but you know that your own govenment wouldn't send you and several others to their death. You've got a lot to learn about the real world. The Paleontologist asked you to come with him on this new dig, and you agreed happily. Thanks to this you can finally avoid that pyscho of an ex. Not to mention that The Solider: Sniper has been looking pretty good to you.

Good ol' you. Everyone seems to be all tense in the plane ride, but you're kicked back as ever chewing your gum and clearly unaware that you are about to risk your life. All you know is that this island was recently discovered and they found some plants that seem unknown, and they're paying you to go check it out. What you don't know is that actually you're there to make sure no one gets killed from some species of plant, because ever since the release of the animals, the ecosystem on the island has completely changed by now. You're way to psyched to notice all the soliders and their weapons of destruction.

You've been working for the government and flying their helicopters for many years now, so they trust you fully. They even gave you a bonus for this job, but that doesn't change the fact that you are nervous and trying not to screw this up. What's worse is that driving Team B is your rookie flyer The Co-Pilot. You're hoping he also doesn't mess this up for you. Sadly enough, both of you mess up, and to make it worse, you're the one who landed into the ocean. At least The Co-Pilot landed in the jungle, which is much closer to the destination.

                    SNAP

That was the noise of Alena letting go of the rubber band as it flapped against her wrist. Currently she was waiting for the noodles for the lasagna to finish up. Tonight was her night to cook, and after being on the Daedalus for so long she had begun to realize that Russian food doesn't sometimes cut it, so every time she began to open up her cooking abilities. She had struck gold once, and that was lasagna. Enough people enjoyed it, so that became a common dinner with her. She didn't always make it though only because one she didn't want to have people get bored with it, and two because she didn't want to kill the supplies to make it. Her leg began to bob up and down again as she continued to wait for the noodles. She turned over to actually face the noodles. Pretty soon they would be done, but that wasn't the thing that was upsetting her now. Instead she was upset that her hair was now all over her face.

A little flustered, she pulled off the rubber band and used it to tie her hair. Since the majority of it was able to actually be tied back, she knew it was her time for a haircut. Since she kept it so short, hair cuts came often enough for her. Right after dinner, she promised herself. For now she had to drain the noodles. She brought it over to the sink and proceeded to strain it. She brought the noodles back to the counter and began to layer the lasagna. Three layers would do, she thought. It was the usual anyways. Then on the trip back she would make four as a congratulatory feast. That being said, yes, Alena was optimistic enough to believe they would return home. She trusted everyone, and she trusted her own abilities, which is why she wasn't completely anxious to run back to the controls. Daedalus could manage without her, seeing as it has proven to in the past months. Although she wasn't completely ignorant of the chance of failure.

She knew what the stakes were, and she knew it was going to be a situation where someone, or everyone could die. Alena just preferred to be optimistic though. Her thoughts had carried her to the cheesing-process. It was something she enjoyed, and although it was weird, she found something as simple as sprinkling cheese fun. Besides, what else was there to do? Everyone else could notice that the high of being in space was wearing off. As for herself she wasn't too sure either. As of lately she enjoyed following Mercer to his lair, but she was too curious, and as she recalls wasn't allowed according to him to come down anymore. She smirked as she prepped up the lasagna to be heated. It was her own damn fault for wanting to touch everything. There was always some card games, but they had all exhausted every card game they knew by now. Alena had an easy fix for that though. Dominos had just as many games with it as cards did.

Perhaps she would play that later. Right now her job was to sit for twenty minutes and do God knows what. Well forget that. Alena wasn't just going to sit around and do nothing. Instead she felt an urge to have some music going and groove around while she was waiting. Unfortunately she couldn't remember where she left her music player. It was either in her room or somewhere in the control room.

"Well it better be somewhere," she said to herself.

It wasn't that she thought ill of the other team mates as to assume they took it, but more as she knew that she was the one to blame for misplacing it. Actually she felt that everyone on board were very trustworthy. No, Alena never thought that someone could have taken it. Sure there were a couple of people she still didn't know very well, but she knew the majority of them, and they were all very kind, unique, and dependable. Markus, Nicolas, and Karen were kind to her before the trip had even started, back when they were just undergoing training. The point was, Alena was comfortable and trusting with her comrades. Besides who would want an old music player filled with techno songs? Oh well, Alena wasn't too worried about it. It's not like it was something fancy that was passed down for generations. No, she didn't really have anything that fit that description. She did had old photos of her grandparents, one of her with her brothers, one of her parents, and another with her and other girls at her boarding school, but even then those were just photos.

Memories were worth so much more. Speaking of which, as Alena situated herself in a chair in her usual manner of criss crossing her legs in the chair, she began to estimate how far they were. Probably 3/4 of the way there already. She planned to confirm this with Daedalus at a later time. If she was correct though it meant that the possibility of sending messages home would decrease drastically very soon, meaning final messages would be sent out. Alena wondered who she would send one to, if she would send one at all. All family relations were lost, with the exception of cousins, aunts, etc. None were very close though. She could send it to the university she graduated from in France, but to be honest it would be rather dull. She had many friends, but unlike her they assumed that Alena would die up there, and she didn't want to upset them further by sending a happy message, that could later be ironic.

By the end of her deductions the only ones she could think of was that nice family that let her pilot their old plane in their barn. Actually it wasn't just old, it was really really old. Alena would have to search in her room a little to find their address, but it was no trouble at all. Despite having lost her music player, Alena was fairly clean and well-kept. Alena yawned making a note of how boring it was to wait alone in the kitchen. Perhaps she would practice her pronunciations again. After being on Daedalus for months her English began to improve. Her strange combined accent though remained, so sometimes the was she pronounced things sounded off.

"What would the wonderful Willy Wonka want?" The entire sentence pronunciation was completely botched up, but at least she was trying.

Svix may be short and appear youthful, but don't confuse her with being obnoxious in the way that a
child might be. Sometimes she is very annoying because she is always curious to know more about
people, some consider it a trust issue, but as soon as someone turns the tables and asks her about
her own past she makes up some excuse to leave. As if this isn't infuriating, she also has the annoying
feature of climbing somewhere and testing her sneaking abilities by creeping up on some unaware soul.
However, despite having said annoying aspects, she doesn't giggle and tease; to her such things
are considered a stupid trademark. Instead she may cackle and play. Rest assured, there is a
very significant difference between the two.

It also just so happens that Svix is a general, meaning she has power on her brain. She loves for
someone to come up and challenge her so that she can order them around, and even more so does
she pry that they will resist so that she may force them into their place. Occasionally she is
aware that she isn't as invincible as she dreams or claims she is; however, she is arrogant and refuses
to accept anything less than what she thinks she is. Some might confuse it for ego, but truly it is
her being stubborn, and well ignorant. When the time does occur where she is out matched she becomes
bitter, and sometimes a little unstable. That would be her bitter side that some have seen firsthand.
Svix loathes the thought of losing.

              x x x x x x x x HISTORY

The majority of beings, whatever race they may be, know, that is to say if they have actually been
in her presence, which at this point has to be a Legion member, or one of the less than five people
that she recalls "escaped" her wrath, very little about her past. It is noted that she is an Exile, so
of course her history is already hard to obtain. To make matters worse she refuses to speak of her own
past. Some have speculated that it is because she does not remember her own past. That could very
well be true, but at the same time could prove to be false. It is known to some that she came
to be upon this world not too long after the Masked Man had achieved such a feat.

As an Exile her ties to any other being are very scarce. It is known that she currently has no
one being that resembles anything to a spouse, relatives of any sort, nor children of any kind. Instead
she barely holds onto other Exiles that lie just outside the close friends circle. One could see with
such limited sources that Svix's past is practically untraceable. The only facts are that once she took
her chosen form she traveled very shortly until by an incident, that others still know little about,
she met the Masked Man who tested her of her worthiness. Obviously she rose to the occasion
otherwise Svix would not be one of the most feared generals part of the Legion.
