Sateen had left the angels 'safe house'. Her mind scrambled and her heart broken to no end. But it had to be done. She couldn't stand it any longer. She could feel the flame within her, and she knew she was going to give into it. She just couldnn't leave Markus like she had before. Couldn't leave without telling him how she had always felt for him. Her love for him was stronger then any emotion she had ever had before. She had looked to him after she told him to never promise her anything. He looked almost dead, and it broke her heart. She was causing him so much pain. Even as an angel, she caused so much pain to the only one she would want to keep safe from hurt and suffering. She felt such a pain in her chest as she moved closer to the emotionaly dead angel that she loved with all her everything. So many thoughts were running though her head, but she knew she had to do this. Thinking that, if she left him, he could start over and find someone new. Find someone who wouldn't hurt him so much. Wouldn't cause more scars on his hart rather then heal them.
When she touched his cheek, silver tears started to stream down her face. Biting her lower lip hard to keep herself from simply leaving because of the pain in her heart. When he pressed his face into her hand, her lower lip started to shake slightly. His warmth was so comferting on her cold hands. She had almost wished that he didn't look to her. That he didn't lock his eyes to her own. It would have made it easyer for her to leave. So she wouldn't have to see the emotion in his heart though the doorways that she gazed into. She leaned in to kiss him, for what she figured might be the last time. When he kissed her back, she felt so much love in him and his kiss, that it physicaly hurt her.

She told him what she had to. Telling him that she loved him. And she did. Her love for him was as nessisary for her as breathing. It was something natural for her. If it wasn't for the face that her darkness, was also just as needed. She felt his tears rolling over her fings. She didn't look to them, but she knew they were there because she coudl feel it in his eyes. She kissed him again. She had to. She couldn't leave without giving him one last kiss. One last showing of love. She made sure she left with something very important to Sateen. Something that was so speacial to her, that it hurt her to hold it because she had her fist closed to tightly with her special little object.
When she was out, she knew she didn't have much time before Markus would try to come after her. There was a slight twinge of hurt when he didn't grab her to stop her. She knew he could. She knew he was much faster then her. His reflexes were made to be quick and effissant. Yet, he didn't grab her. She tried not to dwel on that as she her body bent inward her right hand over her mouth and her left hand in a tight fist that was wraped around her middle. She could feel Markus's emotions in her own heart. She was sure of it because she knew, there was no possible way she could hurt so much on her own...could she? She continued to fly to where she knew Sinn was. She slowed slightly when she reached LA. The darkness around the city came at her in waves. It was painful to keep her wings around her. She made them transparent for a moment so she could see what had happened while she was gone. She took in a breath at the very sight of it.
Mothers killing their children, some that were still in the womb even, ending up in the death of the mother. Children killing children. So much blood. Fire everywhere from burning buildings. She coudl hear the screams of the humans who were being burned alive inside the building. She looked down to the streets. Everyone was looking up to her. She looked to each of them in the eye. Hate filled their own while fear and sadness poured from her's. She was almost sure that one was going to attack her. He was bouncing with antisipation for killing an angel like her. Though she knew that it wasn't going to happen. She could feel Sinn's threat in the very air around her. That didn't make her feel good. It only told her that he was going to enjoy this more then he realy should. She made her wings pure white again so no one could see her. She didn't like their eyes on her anymore. It was to tempting. She wanted to kill them as well.
She felt as if claws were gouging into her body as the darkness pulled her closer to Sinn, holding her before him before throwing her to the floor and forcing her downward in a bowing posision. It was painful, she flet as if spickes were being embeded into her knees and right hand. But not her left, her left hand continued to hold one thing. One thing that she tried to take with her the last time she fell. It was a tear. One of Markus's tears. And she was determined to keep that golden tear in her hand. She wanted it, and no one was going to take it. It would be the only thing that would remind her of Markus's love. And possibly help her in her darker times. She held her left hand in such a tight fist that her knuckles were as white as her wings, and her hand was bleeding. Though, her blood was a goldish red now. And no longer smelt like peppers, but like blueberries.
She flinched slighlty when Sinn started to get up. Her body stiffening as she hear him speak, as he moved closer to him, and as he drew his foot back to strike her. She closed her eyes a moment, then she felt the explosion of the golden light.
"Markus...no.." She whispered, as if he could hear her. The light shocked her so much that she was able to look over her shoulder a moment while Sinn was speaking to Markus. Though as soon as Sinn spoke to her again, her body was forced back into the bowing posision again. She felt his foot on the back of her head. The darkness, asi ti touched her, felt like it was burning her. She flet it as they both faded though the building, and she was instantly fearing where she was going to be taken. Though thankful that it would be in a place where Markus couldn't watch. She closed her eyes as they moved though the building though opened them as soon as Sinn lifted his foot.
Her right hand went to her head as she started to look around. It was easy to see that the only light in the room, was her own. It made her feel rather bright at the moment, though frightened as she was, she looked around. Searching from the left to the right for an ending of the darkness. But of corse, there was none. She felt very cold, alone, and frightened. When Sateen heard Sinn's voice she jumped and covered her mouth to cover a scream before it could leave her lips. Her left fist tightening with the preasus tear drop in her hand. She coudl feel the darkness trying to pry it open, but her nails were embeded into her hand and was not about to losen any time soon. She started to turn around to face Sinn as she felt him behind her. His words alone cut her like a burning whip. Slashing against her back. She then felt his nails digging into her wings. She could instantly feel the darkness as it worked on suffocating the light within her. It made her jump up into the air, and stay there as if the darkness was holding her up. Her back arching upwards, slightly leaning in towaords Sinn's body.
A shrill scream came from her as she felt the darkness moving over her skin. Invading into every bit of her. Her right hand reached backwards and grabed into Sinn's shoulder. Digging her nails into him as she let out a briliant light with her electricity that was now as white as her wings used to be. She didn't know is Sinn would do anything about this, she didn't care, she was in pain and her light was being attacked by the darkness. Screaming the whole time as the darkness continued to move around inside of her. Her light wavered, keeping strong for a long while before it even started to darken. Her left hand continued to keep tightly shut. She wasn't going to lose that tear. No, it was her's and no one elses. She continued to shock both herself and Sinn, as if it would help any. Though the power being used in the attack would be the strongest that Sateen had ever hit him with because of the light within her, it would all be in vain.
Time seemes to be slowed inside the dark room. It felt like hours inside the room, when only a few minutes passed by. Sateen's screams started to die down after a lew long minutes. Turning from pain fulled shreeks and cries, to a heavy breathing. Almsot as if she was beign pleasured by the darkness...and she was. Her eyes were lulled into the back of her head as she continued to feel the darkness moving around inside of her and consume over the light within her. Darkneing her soul until there was only that small little light. Her toes were curled as she felt the darkness settel inside of her. Finding its home again within her heart. Slowly, her body stoped moving and was lighlty droped to the 'floor' of the room. Landing at Sinn's feet. Her eyes closed as she continued to breath slowly but in a soft and heavy mannor. Her right hand moving around in the darkness in a suggestive mannor. Her left hand still clenched into a tight first. After a few moments of her laying on the floor with the darkness coressing her skin, she opened her eyes. They were black as the darkness around her, but this time, with a small thin silver ireses. It was the affect of her changing so many times in a day and in a lifetime.
She pulled her legs around and slowly started to stand. Her cervy body rolling upwards in a way that was both suggestive and comfertable for Sateen. She shook her hair out a bit, it was longer, ending now at the crook above her bottom. She turned and looked to Sinn. Blinking a few times before a small warm smile came to her lips.
"Hay Sinn." She said in a small whisper. Though she was smiling to him, she could still feel the little tear drop in her left hand. She knew why it was there. And she still wasn't going to give it up. Now, though it would remind her of the love Markus felt for her, it would now remind her of that time, and remind her to never let it happen again. For both his benifet, and her own. She continued to look up to Sinn though her eye lashes. Wondering what he was going to do next. Though, she knew one thing he was going to tell her to do. The migority of her knew she would do it, but that small flame within her, was crying in pain for what she knew she was going to do. But, she wanted to see what Sinn's reaction would be from her now being back at his left side.
