☆Personality: Serene : Hana is an individual of peace. Peace is always the answer for Hana. He does not like arguing with others, unless he is trying to prove a point. Hana despises violence, though when he must resort to it for self defense she will. Violence is always a last resort for Hana. He often treats others with respect, in order to ensure that peace is maintained. His peaceful nature also marks her as a caring individual. Hana is quite friendly, and finds it easy to make acquaintances with others. Despite the fact that he is usually the shy individual sitting next to the window, he is not afraid to converse with other shy individuals. He tries to bring them out of their shells, instead of focusing on his own lack of social skills. Hana is not as outgoing as other individuals, but he does enjoy going out at times. He helps those in need, even putting their interests before his own. But the disadvantage of his kind nature is that he allows others to push him around. Another major negative attribute of Hana's personality is his paranoid and insecure nature. Hana always worries about the safety of others or his own safety for that matter. He constantly thinks of pointless scenarios that may result if he makes the wrong decisions. Hana is also quite insecure: he is shy at times when it comes to having asocial life. He also fears that working in his current enviornment will make him two-faced, something he frowns upon in people who let fame go to their head. Hana is also quite indecisive, and always agrees with others. This may lead to conflict, since he can never side with one idea. One can say that Hana always resorts to the 'middle ground'. Hana may do this just to seek approval. This proves to be detrimental to his relationship with others, however. Hana will eventually have to learn to trust his friends, and allow them to assist him on his journey in finding his true self.
Bright : Hana is quite an intelligent boy. He spends most of his time reading when he is not working or running around trying to help. He also possesses high grades in all of his classes even though he takes online courses. Although he is quite paranoid when it comes to school work: he must achieve higher than 95 on all his tests. He is a perfectionist. This proves to be a negative trait, since Hana tends to stress out when studying. Hana is not just intelligent when it comes to school work: he is excellent when it comes to sports as well. Although at times, his decisions do not agree with the decisions of his team mates. This makes him feel quite insecure and paranoid. However, after his experience with a few mishaps, Hana has learned to trust himself and his own decisions more, instead of worrying what others think. But of course, he will follow whatever the higher-up employees decide, but he will repeatedly advise them on any issues they might face, politely of course. One can say that Hana is quite gullible and easily submits to the will of others, depending on the situation. He's not really one to use the word 'no' often.
Trustworthy : Being loyal is something that everyone in the modern day world struggles to be, but not Hana. It’s those who love him and who he loves that keep him together, always. These people who keep him together would be his friends and family, Hana cherishes them above all. He can't help but to thank his friends by staying loyal to them at all times. Always keeping their secrets, he will treat it as if it’s a secret of his own. Not only does he keep others secrets from his loyalty, he constantly strives to help them in all situations, whether its a personal problem, or giving you a shoulder to cry on when you need it the most, or even just hugging you even when you don't ask. Alas, Hana isn't only just allowing himself to give random acts of kindness and compassion; she's also allowing other's to get close to her which doesn't happen often. But that’s what a loyal friend does! You can always count on Hana. It’s safe to say that deep inside, and plainly on the outside, Hana has a soul of which is tender and affectionate. Despite her somewhat blunt-honest nature, she is truly compassionate and down-to-earth. Known for becoming many peoples crutch onto life, Hana finds pleasure in helping everyone move passed his or her problems. Going an extra mile for her friends is nothing out of ordinary and infact, she's well known for doing such... compassionate things such as: lending a shoulder to cry on, giving you a boost in confidence, or be a good listener and tell you his comforting words. Of course all of this goes quite passed "friendly" and can even be classified as "motherly". Though his gentle spirit suggests that he wears his heart upon his sleeve, truth is, he doesn't. Not very many know that Hana makes a large attempt to bottle up all of his feelings, so that no one will have to feel the burden of him being down or depressed. However, Hana will sometimes give off hints that he is optimistic, because it’s too depressing to be any other way
Adorable : Hana may be one of the cutest nineteen-year-olds you'll ever see in your life. If you could think of one word to sum him up, cute would be it. You can always find him stuffing his cute little mouth with candy, playing soccer, or tending to other matters. His Ukrainian accent is pretty much to die for, as he says things straight to the point, adding honorific’s, just being completely 100% honest the whole way through. Although Hana is very quiet, his presence naturally draws attention. All of his emotions tend to be very strong whether he's happy, excited, angry, or sad, although subdued. Hana usually reacts to personal attacks pretty strongly, especially if you hurt his pride. Although I guess that to say that he "reacts strongly" is a sort of understatement... just ask anyone else who's recieved his cold shoulder more than once. Nevertheless, he is very friendly if you don't make him upset or worse.
Perceptive : Call it intuition, but Hana can definitely tell how everyone is feeling at any point in time. Due to being analytical, he finds pleasure in knowing others emotions so that he can help them out when they need it. It's not something he would use to his advantage, but it's definitely something that the young man could use to his advantage, however, that's not in his interest. Its not a bad trait to be blessed or born with, because in all honesty Hana intuition heals him more than it burns him, although he can get into pretty sticky situations because of it. However, Hana allows his intuition to grow with him as a person and because of the fact that he allows himself to grow as a person, his heart grows with him as well, giving him a deeper connection to the world around him and its people. Although he figures it must be annoying for his friends and coworkers to know that he can read them at whatever time just by looking at them for even five minutes or less, Hana uses his intuition to help not scorn. Some might even say that it is almost as if Hana harnesses the power of mind-reading abilities, or just pure empathy. He always seems to know what people may be feeling at any moment in time, whether its happiness, anger, fear, or sorrow. By the simplest means, whether it’s their words, actions, expressions or even their appearance, he can tell how one is feeling. Being aware of a persons attitude or emotions comes with a price, due to knowing how they feel, he truly feels sympathy and always tries his hardest to help them out when he can, its probably why he's so well-liked. Though, not always willing to go up to random strangers and comfort them, Hana tries to do it indirectly. Truly being able to look on the bright side, Hana is seen as optimistic and candid although quiet. Many claim that Hana is one of the very few people in the world who can see what the world actually has to offer, even in the worst possible situations. Knowing that where there is darkness, there is always light, Hana hopes that his own optimism will help to bright up others days. Optimism is the key to leading people into the light!
☆Biography: On a cold October evening, the cries of a young baby boy filled a local hospital in Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine. Andrij Komarovskiy and Raisa Fujiwara smiled at their little bundle. The couple, despite the baby being a surprise, were glad to have been blessed with such a beautiful son. After not much thought, they decided to name him Hana. The name suited him, especially since his hair color resembled that of a lively white flower, and he was quite lively even after birth. Hana would be the flower that brightened his parents' lives.
Life had been both sweet and bitter for the young couple before Hana's birth. The two had met in Japan. Andrij had been on a business trip for a popular talent agency that he worked for. Raisa lived in Japan, and owned a flower shop. It seemed as if fate had brought them together: one day, Raisa was sent to deliver a bouquet of flowers to the building Andrij had been working in. It is quite obvious what occurred next: the pair met, and it was love at first sight. The two then began to see each other. There was one negative aspect of their relationship: many individuals did not approve of a Ukrainian man dating a half Japanese half Ukrainian woman. It was quite an odd pair: this led to stares from other people. Though this bothered the couple at first, they learned to ignore it. Eventually, Andrij proposed to Raisa, and the two got married in Japan. Soon after, Andrij persuaded Raisa to return to Ukraine. After this, the two began a quiet yet joyful life together, soon before Hana's birth.
Hana's childhood was quite pleasurable. He grew up in a middle-class family. Hana's home was located at the heart of Kyiv, near a marketplace. Her mother sold flowers in the marketplace, while her father worked as a manager for his own talent company, which had been opened recently. Hana grew and developed the same manner in which most toddlers developed. Hana grew up in a bilingual household, and learned to speak both Ukraine and Japanese when he began learning how to speak. As a child, Hana could not decide which culture he liked better: both were so interesting! He was well known for being both Ukrainian and Japanese: a strange combination. However, this blessed him with great beauty: he possessed bright, blue European eyes, as well as a soft, beautiful Japanese complexion. Hana was well known for his blonde hair: a trait obtained from his father.
Once Hana began school, he started off as a boy with average intelligence. As the years progressed, he began to grow even more intelligent. Andrij and Raisa taught their son the importance of reading and writing. It was this lecture that triggered his intelligence. He soon began to exceed the expectations of his teachers in school. Hana was not considered to be a genius or anything along those lines: he was just extremely devout and well rounded for his age. And as Hana's childhood years passed, he developed a fascination for myths and history. This fascination began once he read a book about ancient myths around the world (excluding the violent aspects of the civilization, of course). Hana began to play 'Samurai' by himself in his room, and also began to read more and more books about Japanese culture. Hana's favorite book was a book about the various Greek Gods and Goddesses of the ancient Roman culture though. His favorite goddess was perhaps Flora, the goddess of flowers. After all, Hana also had a fascination for flowers: a fascination obtained from his mother.
At age eleven, Hana began to immerse himself in various sporting activities. After all, it was imperative to have a healthy mind in a healthy body! Hana learned soccer, a sport that appealed to him as he watched the Olympics one day. Hana also immersed himself in Basketball, Track, and Ice Skating. While practicing these sports, Hana also began to learn English and Russian. His mother found it strange that her son loved Japanese more than any other language though. After listening to years of Hana's lectures about the wonders of Japan, her parents finally agreed to bring him to Japan. At age twelve, Hana visited Japan with his parents. The ancient shrines, as well as the tea ceremonies fascinated him. Everything was so elegant! During his trip to Japan, Hana also met his Japanese grandparents for the first time. His grandparents were still surprised by the odd appearance of their grandson for having blonde hair and wide blue eyes, but they loved him nonetheless.
With all of these blissful events, Hana hardly realized that his teenage years were quickly approaching. Hana had transitioned from Elementary School to High School. Hana's first years in High School proved to be quite rough. He had a hard time transitioning from the sheltered environment of his previous school, to the reality of high school. He was well known in the school for his nationality, though no one dared to mention it. At times, random students would question him on his nationality. Hana got sick of the questions once in a while. He noticed that she was treated differently at times because of his strange nationality. Many of the students began to spread rumors. Apparently, they believed that Hana probably wasn't Ukraine at all. Several months passed, as the rumors began to circulate. Hana had no way to fight these rumors. Instead, he decided to simply become outgoing, and act in a manner that pleased others. Perhaps if he gained popularity (despite the fact that Hana dislikes popularity), the rumors would stop.
This tactic worked.
Hana first signed up to join the soccer and basketball teams, and became an avid member of the team. He became known for his speed and grace. Also, the students began to somewhat admire his mixed appearance. They soon began to forget that Hana was not fully Ukrainian, like everyone else. Eventually, Hana even created a team: the dance team. He might as well enjoy himself while attempting to gain popularity, right? Hana began to enjoy himself at school for once, despite the fact that he was acting quite two-faced. He began to speak with the people he disliked, and followed them around like a puppy. At the end of his first year, Hana was even better known throughout the school. It was during the break before the start of his second year, that Hana realized he was no longer himself. Prior to his year at high school, his opinions and decisions complemented his actions. He acted the way he wanted to, not the way others wanted him to act. Little by little, Hana began to regain his old attitude instead of acting like a typical jock. He promised himself that he would act like herself once school started once more. After all, everyone would love his true self, right?
He was greatly mistaken.
In order to stay true to his promise, Hana had refused to do the dirty work for his "friends". Hana had also avoided the mean students, and focused on befriending kind students. Although Hana had finally regained his old ways, his popularity was diminishing. At first, he did not mind this, until a popular student addressed him one day.
"You mutt! You've done my homework last year, can't you do it again?!" A blonde-haired student snarled at Hana.
"B-But you're good at math...I'm pretty sure that you can do it yourself..." Hana replied, with a sad tone.
"Pfft, are you kidding me? I have practice tonight! I can't be wasting my time on homework!" The student replied, with a frown.
Hana then sighed. To survive in the school, he would have to resort to a superficial personality.
"Heh, I was just teasing you! Of course I'll do it!" Hana replied, with a false smile to the taller boy.
As the weeks passed, he had no idea that his life was about to change. Aside from his various athletic activities and school clubs he also did ballet on the side at a local studio. One day he was approached by a man after one of his recitals and asked if he would be interested in modeling. Hana had never given the idea much thought for he really had no desire to stand around and have his picture taken. In his mind he wasn't all that photogenic. So he set off the idea for a year and decided to focus more on his dance career and college. But then the rug was pulled out from under his feet. Ukraine's economy dropped drastically and times became tough within the city. Both his parents were having quite a bit of rotten luck in their businesses and soon college was not an option anymore. Hana was forced to drop out and take up a job as a waiter in a local bakery in an attempt to support his family but even that didn’t pay much to put food on the table. That's when he got the idea to move to Japan in hopes of getting a job. From there he would send over the money he made to his family due to their bustling economy. Three months later Hana found himself in what he could only describe as a dreamland as he stood behind the train station wide eyed. Wasting no time he jumped right in to his new life and took up a job at a local cafe while living with his aunt who worked as an editor and casting director. With the money he saved up he started to send it overseas to his family and used the extra pay to take college classes online due to his busy schedule. On his way home one night he walked into a bookstore and stumbled upon OMY! And started to read it out of curiosity not knowing that it was... what it was. Flushing he wondered what his family would think of him. Although at the time he was convinced he was strait as an arrow he began to start purchasing the magazine.
One day made the mistake of reading it on his break at work. That's when his aunt, Hitomi Fujiwara who had come by to visit, approached him. At the sight of her young nephew reading the magazine she gaped, then a wide smile spread across her face as she plucked the magazine from the unsuspecting boy's hands. Startled Hana jumped and grabbed the magazine back, his face flushed as he began to apologize, begging his aunt not to tell. The middle-aged woman merely tsked the boy and silenced him with her finger as she sat down. Her face dawning a false look of disappointment as she began to scold him. All the while trying not to laugh at the idea forming in her head. Hana could only lower his head as tears welled in his eyes, he was mortified. But then... the woman's trilling laughter filled the air and she soon began to cry, and her ribs began to hurt. A look of confusion befell Hana as he stared at his aunt, not knowing what had come over her. One moment she had been angry and the next she was laughing? What was so funny? Soon her laughter subsided as she flipped through the book and slid it over to him, her finger pointed to a name printed in bold black ink: Tachibana Kou. Puzzled the boy merely blinked, knowing that he was one of the magazines writers but didn't know much about him. Sighing Hitomi pushed her bright red cat-eye glasses further up the bridge of her nose and began to explain that she was the man's editor... much to her misfortune. Quirking a brow Hana wasn't sure what she was getting at as she rattled on about how lazy the writer was and that he would be a mess without her, yet he was talented and did his job well. She then sat back and studied the boy, her eyes moving up and down his body as he sat there, his cheeks as pink as ever now. Why was she looking at him like he was some kind of delicious cupcake? With a snap of her fingers she struck a deal with him, one he just couldn't refuse. If he got him a job at OMY! She wouldn't tell her sister about her son's little secret. Flustered the young blonde could only stare at his loving aunt. Oh she was evil. With a frown he agreed and by next week he was standing in OMY!'s lobby, feeling as if he had been sold his freedom to work as an intern, which meant working for free. Hitomi had encouraged him that he would get a job in no time and would be sending his family enough money to last them quite some time. He's only been in OMY's clutches for a short while and he's gone from modeling to being the hairstylist's intern (because he couldn't stand still) which he doesn't mind. But he can't help but feel awkward at times around so... many... men plus he's still getting used to Japan.
