» му nαмє ; Mattias Wilde, but he prefers 'Matt'. It's much more simple.
» I hαvєn'τ bєєn αяoυnđ τhaτ long ; Seventeen years isn't that long, now is it?
» ♂ or is it ♀ ? ; Male, in case you really couldn't tell.
» му hoмєτошn ; Hysu'lae, of course.
» му sқill ; Good with daggers or short blades -- that would make one a Rogue.
» му єҳрєrτisє is ; Starter Tier
» єαrning α living ву ; Patching things up or anything really that deals with building and working with your hands, along with little errands or jobs here and there. And the occasional little treasure hunt too.
» Plєαsє нєєđ му шояđs ; ---

» ταll оя sноrτ ? ; About 5"7.
» шнατ α lovєlу cоlоr ; An ebony black, to be exact.
» єуєѕ τнє color оғ ; A soft blue, so light it may look gray in certain lights.
» шнατ му rєғlєcτion ѕношѕ ; Mattias tends to wear clothes that are suited for being near the ocean. A light, thin shirt accompanied by a vest like bit, either red or black with the black one being more lengthy at the back. His pants reach to a little below his knees, making movement a lot more easier and comfortable. Mattias also tends to wear relatively tall boots with straps decorating them; they're easy to move in and sturdy as well. He may also have a belt in the form of cloth wrapped around his waist; his daggers are usually hanging from his belt to make it more simple for him to reach them. The chain and hook are also tucked in there as well. Depending, Mattias may also wear a band around his head to keep his bangs out of his eyes, though he doesn't do that too often unless really necessary. His hair used to be a little longer before, but he had it cut since it was becoming a hassle. Mattias' build is quite lithe and suited for quick movement; he's good with his hands and a bit stronger then one would think.
» đon'τ υnđєrєѕτiмατє мє ; Mattias isn't too bad with swords or fists, but his forte is really daggers, plain and simple. There are two of them he received from his parents as a gift and the only daggers he'll use. He also carries a short chain with a hook at one end, though it's not much of a weapon.

» шαnđєring єуєѕ ? ; No one's caught Mattias' eyes, at least for the time being.
» υnđєrnєατн τнє мαѕқ ; Mattias is generally quite relaxed and calm. He isn't the type to be rude or brazen without a reason. In fact, Mattias is quite polite, perhaps a reminiscent of when he used to live in the Valyn house. He's easy going and quite easy to talk with as well. While it isn't too hard for Mattias to get used to speaking to people, he isn't exactly fond of being the center of attention as one might think. In situations like that, he tends to keep quiet. Mattias tends to try to be cautious when it comes to giving out his trust as well, but when it comes to those that have earned it along with his respect, he becomes more caring for them and perhaps a little protective.
Mattias is good hearted, and he does have a sense of justice however strange that may be for a rogue. For that reason, he and his brother have made a pact between themselves that they won't steal from just anyone. Only those that look like they wouldn't miss this or that. Mattias is also known for being quite cool headed; he's a clear thinker in battle and has a slow fuse when it comes to getting angry. When it comes to his allies, Mattias doesn't hesitate to helping them in whatever way he can. They're allies after all, right? When does get angry, Mattias tends to rush into things without thinking like he usually might. He is very intelligent and clever too, and those coupled with his adventurousness and curiosity tend to add up to trouble.
» Łооқing iτ υр ; Believe it or not, Mattias was born the son of a noble. He and his family lived in a relatively small but comfortable mansion and his father was a well known noble in St. Theon who had many connections. But while Mattias' father knew many people and had a great number of them working for him, there was always someone who had something against him. One such person was one of the Valyn family's servants. She and her husband had worked for the Valyn family for years and were regarded as trustworthy servants. In actuality, the two were far from that; they were in fact working for one of Valyn's export competitors. They'd been ordered to kidnap the only son of the Valyn house where he would then be held for ransom, which could then lead to destroying the nobles from the inside out.
Thus, one night when Mattias was just barely four years old and sleeping unaware in his room, the servant stole into his room; there was no need to worry about him waking up, because the woman had added a dose of sleeping medicine into his drink before he'd gone to sleep. In the morning when one of the maids came to wake the young Valyn, she was surprised to find the room empty. A thorough search of the house indicated that Mattias was nowhere to be found. The servant woman and her husband had also mysteriously 'disappeared.' The two had apparently planned the kidnapping for quite a while. They'd just been waiting for the opportune moment to put it into action. Having taken the young boy successfully the only thing left was to hand him over to the Valyn family's greatest enemy. The transaction didn't go as smoothly as planned though. Having realized the suspicious nature of the servant woman, guards were sent out to retrieve Mattias and almost did manage to do so. Yet in the end, the boy ended up thrown into a river; the traitor's attempt at avoiding capture. The guards searched the river and surrounding areas, yet they could find no signs of the boy anywhere. Lord Valyn and his wife departed for another country, unaware their son was still alive.
Mattias had ended up going further down the river than anyone had expected. He was found unconscious and ashore a day later by a boy who happened to wander that way that day. It just so happened that the boy that had found Mattias was the son of a pirate. But they were good people, and the boy immediately took Mattias to their home where he was taken care of by the family. Since he was so young and the ordeal had affected him some, Mattias was not exactly able to recall much other than his first name. Thus, he was raised up by a pirate's family along with the boy who'd found him, who became his 'older brother', with no real recollection of his birth family.
Mattias' adopted father happened to be one of the Pirate Queen Isabelle's men, and he was often out doing work for her. Mattias spent a lot of his time following after his brother, Seth, both of them wanting to one day go with their father to work for Isabelle. Seth even became his teacher when it came to fighting with swords or daggers, or even just fists. Thus Mattias grew up raised by pirates and totally unaware of his past and that he is adopted. He adapted to his new life quite easily, as it's almost as if he's been raised that way since the day he was born.
