I got surrounded by 3 and couldn't dodge them at all. evil

Edit: I think it was lagging because of all the aquariums on the last page.
I tried it on this page (with only 2 aquariums) and it was a bit faster.

It's the aquariums with only a few fish where I see them glowing most of the time, not the ones with a lot of fish!

When I first began playing it was incredibly laggy -- but the gameplay seems to be improving, for me -- a little more fluid as I continue to play.

My total gold count seems be averaging around 20g per game, no matter how many fish are in the tank.

Avoiding the red power-downs is a good idea -- going for the added time and additional golds help too -- as long as your avatar isn't "stuck" xD

XD I get about 50 - 100 from most of the tanks that have like 3 or more fish

XD I get about 50 - 100 from most of the tanks that have like 3 or more fish

Same.... You do get the odd 200g from a big tank.
