Hello! Welcome to Aardbei Subs! No, no don't worry we aren't one of those baking accident shops, or anything like that. (Our chef would kill us if there was mess) Our pets come naturally and are raised naturally (I think). They are just special in their own sort of way. Isn't that what makes life truly fun? Eh, if you say so, but I think it is. Anyway welcome, Aardbei Subs is home of Matt Barker, a chef just graduating from a university far off who has opened a shop in the center of town where anyone is welcome to some hot Tea and a breakfast sandwhich early in the morning. Come in and Enjoy!

Please, we ask you to follow these, there are quite a few, but they really help.
• Follow the Gaia ToS
• Literacy is a must
• No begging or whining for a pet. You have to pay like everyone else
• No page stretching vertically or horizontally
• No bumping, it is not welcome here. Also, keep the emotes posts to a minimum please
• No harassing others or the owners and artists
• PG-13 please
• The only bribery allowed is for custom pets
• Be nice, but if you begin a fight or see one, tell the co-owner or owner(depending who’s on) or take it to a PM.

• Questions or complaints? PM us!
• All payments except customs are to be sent within 24 hours, customs have a 1 hour time limit. (Mainly for the reason once you send the form, we expect payment right after that sent button is clicked)
• If you do not get the pet you want in the flaffle or nothing at all, do not complain, you will be given a warning if you do, if you fail to adhere to the warning, you will be banned and blacklisted (this applies for all rules)
• No editing your post during said flatsale, you run the risk of being banned from future flaffles
• Art theft is instant ban/blacklisting. Co-Chef (Ookami Kokkoro) WILL send your name to our affiliates if you do so. The art will be watermarked in our sample/auction/flatsale, so don’t even try
• If you are going to cancel your order and your trade, please PM Kanove!


There will be a warning system for those who do not follow the rules
1. Warning: Either myself or Kanove will send you a warning stating you should cease and desist your offensive behavior.
2. Gray List: This is for those who do not listen to the warning, you’re walking on thin ice here
3. Permaban: You are no longer allowed to post in our thread, your pet will be taken away, and a list of those on or blacklist will be sent to our affiliates, your name is on there.

It is to be noted that I, not sure about Kanove, am a lurker on b/c threads, I will caution them on accepting from permabanned people from this thread.

Also, pets of offenders will either be
a) Put up for adoption on page 2
b) Put in a flatsale
c) Or Put on auction

A small sandwhich and coffee shop just opened on the edge of town, why don't you take a visit to the shop. No no, nothing bad is gonna happen, just enjoy a cup of tea, and if your lucky you may come home with a small egg. Yes, it is an animal so don't go eating it or who knows that may happen.

There, yes there it is just go on inside, and take a look. The shop is small with windows lining the entire front wall, the restaurant is minimalistic with a few seats for customers and a small kitchen in the back for the chef and owner. You will be greated by a watress...whats her name..oh ya, Monika! Just ask for a seat. There you are, are you comfortable?

Thats good, always good to be comfortable. Now like in any restaurant just order your food, we have a small menu. Okay no you can just wait.

Ahh there we are some food, and a bag, with a note. Ohh what does it say.

Egg (Unisex)
Ohh shiny, who knows what will approach from the egg, most eggs are similar except in color, now if your egg comes out plane brown, that is letting you know its a secret egg. Not much happens at this stage though.

Chick (M & F)
Awww so cute, now you have a..furball? They can't fly yet but they can speak the bird tongue. They will attempt suicide a few times by trying to fly so keep a close eye on them, most of the time the pets here will be happy and open all cheerful.

Teen (M & F)
Dun! Dun! Dun! Your pet has now been classed depending on where you got it, and if it was a custom, what you ordered. This is when your pet will break from its owner and out into the wild or wherever it is to go, the only ones that stay with the owner are the Messenger and Pet classes.

Adult (M & F)
Adulthood what a wonderful thing, be prepared from here on out various adventures await you in the countryside from many different tasks. Here your pet is a complete individual, they belong to one owner, if a messenger, and have a direct line of how they do things, or so we thought.

Humanity (M &F)
You've done something with Dan to get you up in the ranks, this is the legendary stage no many get, its the only stage that requires roleplaying to get to. The humanity stage is when your bird will transform and get art of their own but in the process will be completely unique.

Pet :: Pet bird are more calm and docile than all the other types, they are normally fairly well groomed and have a sort of belly, since most of the owners feed them constantly. They are gentle toward all age groups but hate cages, they won't fly away don't worry.

Wild :: Sort of like the scavengers but these guys represent neutrality. They are not very well groomed but they look nice and have are the social butterflies of the classes. They love talking on and on and love doing things, complete opposite of the Scavenger. Represents Angelic pets.

Messenger :: Messenger birds, the rarest of all types of birds, the messenger birds are highly decorated pets wearing their masters colors in forms of a cape and normally bands on their feet. They are the fastest and the hardest to roleplay. The messenger group is normally always moving and is the strategist, loving to get do more things in a day than you thought possible.

Scavenger :: Scavengers are the unfriendly ones, they would represent demonic pets more in personality. They hate being around large crowds of there kind there are exceptions) and normally are fairly pale in comparison. They have strong builds but look hungry and beaten up all the time as they have to fight for their food.

Flatsales here are run a bit differently than you would expect, we have a variety of types which allow all of our visitors to get involved in the upbringing of the shop. Please read carefully for there could be important things in each area.

Flatsales Cost 7,000gold

• Speedy Flatsales
Common here, Speedy flatsales here are done a bit differently they are speedy but we generally ask for a picture of some sort or something that way dial-up users have a change. These flatsales along with both of the others are GO activated,

• Flaffles
Run just like other shops, the flaffle will last an hour generally and consist of me positing open and at the end of the hour (make sure to read my post then for instructions) I will pick by the random number generator who gets what pet.

• Mind Games?
These are fun and rare, these generally require the person competing to search through various areas for answers, its practically a racing quiz.

Flatsale Rules, just in case.

Credits are fairly hard to get, your best bet is the MVP Award given to the most frequent and rule abiding visitor, this is decided by a vote from our lovely management. If you have credit you will be listed below, and what you have. 1 credit, equals 1k, so you can get special prizes from Credit Competitions.
