" Er, wait, seriously ? " Finnian stared at his father, blinking a few times, his head tilted slightly at an angle. " I`m going to marry someone from another kingdom ? " His heart race picked up, an enchanted smile wiping onto his expressions. Without much warning, he leapt to embrace his father figure. " Thanks, father ~ ! " Drawing back, he threw another beam in the direction of the king, shooting a thumbs up before hurrying off to his room to get ready-- for what ? he did not know ; maybe for the princess that was going to visit him ? Now if only he had something to wear--
Upon arrival of his own room, Finnian immediately strolled to his closet, throwing open the huge double doors. Peering inside, it was decided that whatever he would wear-- it would have to be fancy ; not the usual tank top and shorts he had literally begged his mother to buy for him. Literally begged since it was ' against the law of royalty '. " What to wear, what to wear ~ " he sang quietly to himself, strolling inside to peek among the clothing that hung on the railings. " Wait, what exactly is formal anyway ? " he questioned himself, placing a finger at his chin and glancing upward at the ceiling. He was pretty sure ' formal ' meant to wear something that looked fancy and not tank tops and shorts-- he could be wrong ; formal could be just a cape around the shoulder. Well, whatever it was he was sure it had to be impressing-- he was getting married, after all !
The wave of thought of who he was marrying weaved its way into his mind ; would it be a pretty girl ? Would she be nice ? Did she like to sing ? He hoped that whoever he was marrying could sing-- and would be able to sing with him ~ It would be a perfect match and dream come true ! And how would she look like ? Did she have blond or brown hair ? Red or raven black ? The least his father could have done was given him a mental image-- or a picture ! Now he would be perked with curiosity--
