About me goes here.
----------------------------------------------
Hello~ So youre here eh? What brings you here? Did you stalk me or did you come here form the link from my profile? Either way, welcome I guess.
Alright, so honestly, I dont know why Im writing an about me in a test thread. I dont remember seeing a test thread with one and if I ever did, it must be rare since I dont remember it. Anyway, it's perhaps because of the fact that I send most of the people I roleplay with to this thread for post samples, my character's profiles are here as well. Also, Ive been watching my poll increase still, so that means someone still visits this thread, yes? So yeah, Ive decided to put something like this here. And besides, if I make a search thread, I could copy this and just edit it slightly, right? Alright well, what to write first.. rules?
Alright, rules it is.
Honestly, I hate rules and I hate writing a lot, so I'll just give you two. Literacy and respect.
Literacy. Perhaps Im what you call an adv.lit, but honestly, its not like that. I just mirror my partner's post length. Im literate, that's all there is to it. But since we're already speaking of lengths, I would so love it if you give me four to five meaningful sentences at the least. Also, remember that I prefer quality over quantity.
Respect. Commitment falls under this category too. If you are to rp with me, I would like to be respected. Do so and I'll respect you as well. If you are to rp with me, make sure you reply to me frequently, once a week the least. I mostly play as a female but that doesnt mean I dont play a male, I suck at it though, and I do double if needed. Honestly, Im an impatient girl and I obviously wait hating. I dont usually voice this out much cause it would sound like complaining and I hate complaining. But yeah, dont make me wait too much. The contents of my roleplays mostly contains romance but this is done so decently. You should understand what that means okay? Also, Im a long-term rper, but if you wish to quit our rp, please give me a heads-up first, I'll understand, just dont disappear without a word.
So yeah, thats all. I only rp through threads alright? Even 1x1's. I dont trust pming since it sometimes gets lost and I like having a post format so yeah. And since this is a test thread, if youre interested in rping with me, send me a pm. Im going to kill you if you post here. Rules are subject to change if I feel like adding more stuff.
For an updated version of my preferences when it comes to rping, check out my search thread;; Phantasmagoria~

Or simply, The Art of Magic.
http://www.furc.steelangel.com/combat/magic.html#intro
----------------------------------------------
Types of Magic
Taken from: Ars Magica
Arcane
- Evocation - a very basic form, used for literally calling forth magic of a particular type. Evocation is the magic of drawing out pure magical power, and using it as a weapon. Evocation spells are some of the more common spells seen; Fireball, Lightning Bolt, and Ice bolt are all Evocation spells.
Alteration and Illusion - centers around magic used to change things, to alter yourself or others, or your surroundings. Alteration and Illusion spells are the spells of transformation and changing, but also the spells of misdirection and deceit. Alteration and Illusion spells are used rarely, but usually to great affect. One of the most common used is Invisibility.
Conjuration/Summoning - teaches the art of summoning things to assist. A summoner summons the astral being of another creature, binds it into a physical body, and commands the summon as if it were a puppet. When the summon ends, or the creature dies, it returns unharmed to where it was previously. Summoners live by the 'permission' code. If the summoned creature is unwilling, the spell fails.
Abjuration - a type of magic that protects, blocks, reflects, or defends. Abjuration is the magic of protection; shields, counterspells and dispelling are all part and parcel of this art. Abjuration spells are important in every dangerous situation.
Enchantment - allows you to attach magical spells to physical objects. Enchantment is required if you wish to create magical items, and is also very versatile for various tasks. Weapon enchantments, focus enchantments, charm and binding spells, even mind magic and time-based magic are all Enchantment spells.
Divination - having premonitions about what could air yourself or others.
Necromancy - deals with death, raising the undead, draining life, etc. Necromancy is the magical study of death and dead things. Not all necromancers are evil, though those exist, of course. Many necromancers study death and its relationship to life, seeking to prolong their own, or possibly to create new life from dead tissue. Unfortunately, the study of Necromancy is so abhorrent to most civilizations that its use has been banned, and carries harsh penalties.
Divine (Cant have both, kay? <3]
- Celestial - Celestial magic is the magic granted by the good aligned. It is the magic of love and compassion. Healing spells and curing spells are found here and nowhere else.
Infernal - Infernal magic is the magic granted by the evil aligned. It is the magic of hate and domination. Harm Life spells and animate dead spells are found here and nowhere else.
Nature - can only be used with a catalyst of the element to be used. Strong and weak traits depend on use.
- Fire - Strong against earth. Weak against water. Neutral to air and fire.
Water/Ice - Strong against fire. Weak against air. Neutral to water and earth.
Air/Wind - Strong against water. Weak against earth. Neutral to fire and air.
Earth - Weak against fire. Neutral to air, water, earth.
Rune - Existence
Void - Vacuum or Nothingness.
