"It shouldn't matter to you but. . . I'm 16 years of age. . . have a problem?"

"You want it, I can tell. . .
First things first, I'm not like the other common beings you find these days, easy to control and take advantage of. Constantly showing fear and weakness, that only makes you feel more inferior. No worries I'm no brute, just a little disobedient, stubborn, and frustrated at times especially towards the all important manager. Hopefully that doesn't turn you off. I particularly don't always follow the rules ... I've never really been fond of them to be quite honest, they only take out the fun and life out of things. Though I've been told I have two sides to myself, but I've never really noticed that. People say my second half is more of the approachable type, unlike my outspoken side. They say I'm more playful, optimistic, and a tad affectionate though that's just with certain employees. When I'm not out running errands or performing missions, I often try to be sociable and talk among the other workers. Unfortunately in the end most are fearful and rather remain quiet thinking I may possibly rat them out to the top boss, so my circle of friends isn't the largest. Some people even take it to the step of mocking me from time to time, because they believe that I would do as something as stupid as snitching. I've heard whispers about me when everyone thinks I'm not listening, they say I toy around with people especially females with my smooth and charming traits. Not that it's a sin or anything, I've often gotten a few stomach fulfilling treats every now and then. If it makes you feel any better I can be a loyal and kind person, almost like a puppy but less naive. I'm a bit protective of people I take interest in and possibly have feelings for, but no one's really brought out that special side of me just yet.

"Its tragic but. . .
To be quite honest I had it all when I was younger. Two caring parents, a nice home, friends, and who could forget that oh so important 'L' word ... love. My childhood seemed to be looking up, it seemed the future could only hold bright and cheerful beginnings, that is until that unfortunate day happened. Papa was driving back home late one night when he had gotten into a terrible accident, everything from then seemed to be going downhill. After being rushed to the hospital the middle aged man didn't last too long, I don't remember much due to the fact that I was 6 years old. Though I do recall Mama sobbing and sniffling a lot back then. A few years passed and the warmth and affection that once lingered in the Hayashi household had slowly faded away. With though times keeping the house was a difficult task , Mom and I had to move to a small apartment. I had grown to be 8. Then one day my mother unexpectedly told me to chose one thing I cherished most in this world, because we would be going away on a trip. I already knew immediately what I would be taking the one thing that seemed to make me feel close to my late father, my violin. He used to spend endless hours trying to teach me how to play his favorite instrument, he had even had my initials H.H placed on the back. As I hopped into the car my mother gave me a sort of forced yet sad smile as we drove off, it didn't seem right ,something felt wrong in the pit of my stomach. It seemed to be hours, I had even dozed off during most of the trip until I felt gentle caresses upon my cheek. Time to wake up my mom whispered softly as my small hands reached up to rub my little eyes and slowly slid out of the vehicle. I remember the sky was a shade of orange and pink, the sun was setting. There was a dirt path, trees, the statue of resembled a monkey, and a large entrance with a dark tunnel yet there was some light all the way at the end. Mama has to go somewhere really quickly, do you promise you'll always love her, I could only nod and watched tears beginning to roll down her cheeks as she bent down a gave me a kiss upon on my forehead. She hesitantly waved back and drove off. Little did I know that would be the last time I'd see her. To this day I don't understand why she did what she did, perhaps the fact she wasn't strong or stable enough to care for a growing boy now that she had become a single parent had gotten to her. The sun was barely up as I was beginning to grow tired, curious, and confused. I began to look around what seemed to be an abandoned amusement park, it was now dark and cold as soon as I hopped over a small stream the unthinkable happened. The small strip of water grew as large as lake, a large ferry could be seen traveling from the other side, lights suddenly began to turn on, and shops opened as life seemed to spread in this once deserted place. Growing scared I began to run through the unusual crowd as I bumped into a person crossing a bridge leading into what looked like a bath house. The stranger looked down and smirked Looks like your not from around these parts, but that won't get into the way of finding something for you to do the person finished grabbing tightly unto my hand. I could only follow biting my lower lip as I could only imagine what would happen next in this weird place. Minutes later I was seated across from this new person in an elegant and large room and this stranger finally asked my name H-Hiromi I softly replied as this important figure began to scribble it down Well now you will be known as Shouji, you'll be my apprentice. My name magically lifted up from the paper and disappeared. I had forgotten all of my past, all my memories, everything including my very own name. That was 8 years ago, now I'm 16 and work and stay in the spirit world. Everyday I remember that promise my boss had made me so long ago, it's one of the reason's I'm so cold with the manager. The day I remember my name is the day that I earn my freedom and break free from this curse, the only thing linking me to my past is this violin I hold closely. I guess the boss let me keep it to taunt me and the fact that I don't even know what the initials on the back stood for.

I'll tell you anyway. . ."

"It shouldn't matter to you but. . . I'm 17 years of age. . . have a problem?"

"You want it, I can tell. . .
A look into my personality would reveal a polite, loyal, intelligent and rather timid girl. Or so I've heard. I was raised with proper etiquette as well a great knowing of medicine due to the profession of my parents. I also find literature and music interesting during my spare time, which isn't very often. I've been related to the word wall flower many times before. I'm the type of girl who tries to blend in with the crowd every now and then. I don't really like to attract any unwanted attention upon myself especially if it's negative. Nor do I like to take part of arguments, unless it's a completely necessary situation. Though once I find passion in something I'll try my hardest to excel and shine in it. One of my many flaws that I hold is my shyness around men, which I've never been too comfortable around. Maybe it's the fact that I can't stop blushing or stuttering more than usual? Throughout my life I've decided to stray away from them leaving contact to a minimum. There were a few daring males who have mustered up the courage to ask me on a date only to be answered with a soft "no". I'd rather stick around people of my own gender, I find talking with girls much easier. People have often commented and told me I'm one of the kindest girls a person can ever meet. How flattering? I’ve made at least a handful of trustworthy friends in the spirit world, making my life here much more bearable. Although I don’t enjoy every waking moment in this odd bathhouse, I still take my job as a nurse seriously. Even though it sounds silly, I take joy in making the employees aches and boo boo’s go away. It truly is worth it to hear thank you's and see smiles walk out the door by the end of the day.

come and get it. . ."

"Its tragic but. . .
Ever since I had entered high school staying the quiet girl in the back of the classroom wasn't no longer a good strategy to go unnoticed. Minding my own business I always went about my usual routines walk into class, learn, chat with a few of my peers, then walk home. Everything seemed calm and simple until a few students grew bored and decided to find themselves a little playmate to keep school more interesting. There was a trio of girls or bullies to be more accurate who would constantly pick on me, being the passive person I was I tried to ignore it all. Why don't you ever talk? they often asked Are you mute? the females would muse unable to hid their mischievous smiles. These girls had even taken the picking a step further when they had embarrassed me in front of my long time crush, Rui. Although he tried to seem sympathetic during the humiliating situation even Rui couldn't prevent the contagious smiles spreading across cafeteria from gracing his own lips. Devastated, I ran out in tears not ever wanting to rear my head in the direction of the student body much less my heartthrob ever again. My friends grew worried, though I awlays forced a smile and tried to reassure them I was alright. My parents on the other hand were always located at the local hospital, worrying them with my teenage problems would be a tad selfish. It had been a few days since the incident, I now had the habit of staying in the classroom and waiting for most of the students to disappear from the school grounds before walking through the quiet and empty hallways. Not a wise idea because it often took a while, at least it avoided the ridicule and snickering. Later I would slink to my locker, trying to push the scene that had happened earlier in the week away from my head. As soon as my lock clicked and the small door opened a note fell to my feet. Bending down I slowly unfolded it as my warm chocolate eyes grew in surprise a a slight rose colored blush appeared on my cheeks, the note was f-from Rui. I just couldn't believe it, my heart fluttered in delight at the thought. He was asking me to meet him this very Friday afternoon in front of a bath house to personally apologize for the way he had acted before, without having to worry about people eavesdropping. I should have suspected this was suspicious and down right unusual, though I was hurt and lonely learning about good news must have blinded me. Almost running down the hallway I noticed the tree female stooges grinning at me as they mockingly waved goodbye. I would have usually done something about it, but my thoughts were elsewhere. It had only taken me fifteen minutes to walk through the dirt forest path leading to the entrance to the abandoned location. In fact it was on my way home so I had often passed by it, but never actually bothered to explore anything. Jumping across a small trickling stream it wasn't hard to spot the large bath house past all the small empty booths and such. I stood on the bridge after making sure my appearance looked just right. It had been a while the sun was beginning to set leaving the sky to slowly start turning from a soothing orange sky into the dark cold night. Unfortunately there was still no sign of Rui. At least another hour or two crept by and the moon hung above my petite body, I had long realized Rui was never going to show and the fact that the note hadn't come from him. It must have been those cruel girls, it only explained the fact they were so content on her way out. To be honest I had stayed longer because I didn't want to return to the real world, my short time here had been like some sort of an escape. Taking my first steps to return home lights began to flicker on, as strange beings began to walk and chatter the streets. Traditional music began to echo as everything suddenly tuned alive. I began to panic, confused as to what I should do and what was going on. Suddenly I felt a finger lift up my chin as I came face to face with a man with dark hair, tears were beginning to blur my vision due to how frightened I was. Don't worry, I'll find something for you my dear he smiled, although his words didn't sound the least bit comforting. He led me into the bustling bathhouse, all the way from the very top. I sat across from him, only his cluttered desk separated us. Now what was your name? he asked with a quill in his hand K-Kishi I sniffled softly as he immediately scribbled it down. My name gently floated in the air and disappeared in the blink of an eye You will now go by the name of Lily, you'll be my new nurse he nodded to himself. That was a few years ago and I did exactly what he had assigned me to do, take care of those who were hurt and needed aid inside the bathhouse. The hours aren't too long, nor is the work too hard. I almost have a nack for medicine, perhaps I was influenced by it before my memories were lost? I get help from an elderly woman who was probably the nurse that had worked before my arrival, though she stays in the corner of the room and naps most of the time. I still yearn to remember my past, though I've came to sort of accept this spirit world.

I'll tell you anyway. . ."

. Once upon a time, existed an island full of magic, dreams, and adventure. Yes, Neverland was a location of non-stop fun and mischief, a place where the imagination of all children were to roam free without the any limitations set by adults. There was the lagoon of glorious mermaids, the tribe of respectful Indians, and not to mention the ship trouble making crew of pirates. Though with all of these interesting characters populating the island only one person truly brought it to life . A special young fellow of warm auburn hair and striking emerald eyes, also held an important meaning to Neverland. His childish mentality and courageous actions had earned him the title of 'the boy who never grew up'. Peter Pan was a lad of his early teens, having lost his parents long ago he dedicated himself to never becoming an adult. Through his eyes growing older only meant grief, stress, and dullness. With his crew of Lost Boys and his right side fairy Tinkerbell, the group accomplished all sorts of missions only adding another chapter to their book of memories.

Being the curious boy that he was, Peter would occasionally stray away from the boundaries his home and fly through the streets of London, searching for children to become his playmates. One night he had voyaged to the small neighborhood of Bloomsbury, passing by an open window a captivating voice had suddenly spoken his name quickly catching his attention causing him to stop and investigate. Floating in the shadows he would lean against the wall listening closely to the female's words in awe and admiration. The tales she told were simply amazing, so full of imagination and wonder. The girl spoke about him as if she had actually witnessed Neverland and his countless adventures. Not only did she keep her younger siblings interested to the very end, but to much surprise Peter's as well. So much so that her storytelling had become some sort of nightly ritual for him. After the parents would bid the children goodnight, she would immediately begin her stories almost as if she were programmed that way. Every dark evening the male could be found comfortably rested beside the window with his arms crossed against his chest, listening closely as he gazed up at the stars sprinkled across the blanket of black, known as the night sky.

Upon one trip to his favorite spot in the real world, he had unfortunately lost his shadow. The uncontrollable being made it's way into the home, causing him to reveal himself for the first time. The children gasped as it came to their realization, that the main character of the tales that had been told over the last few months was indeed real. After recapturing his shadow with much difficulty, Peter Pan proudly introduced himself as he too was rather excited to finally meet them face to face. One by one the kids introduced themselves until he finally found out the name of the girl who had been causing him to make plenty of trips to and from Neverland. Wendy the lad repeated with a gleaming smile, nodding his head he now knew exactly what he had to do, take them back to Neverland with him. It took a lot of persuading, but the deed was finally done and taken care of. The green eyed boy blew a handful of golden pixie dust upon the trio and gladly led them back to the second star to the right.

From then on only fun journeys took place on the shores of Neverland. With Wendy and his loyal crew by his side Peter Pan saved the chief indian's daughter Tiger Lily, defeated Captain Hook numerous times, and faced different types of danger without the blink of an eye. It seemed life would hold surprises every day, though as time passed everyone seemed to grow bored of their usual events. It came to the point that there were constant complaints of wishing to return home, being the stubborn person that he was Peter Pan refused to let anyone go back to the real world. Who needs grown up's? the leader spat, Were doing just fine here in Neverland he would continue. That was until Wendy pulled him aside privately one afternoon and personally told him that she to desired to go back as well, to grow up and raise a family of her very own. Peter was shocked, why would she want to go back? Why would she want to leave him behind so easily? Weren't they somewhat growing feelings for each other, strong one's at that. Heart broken Peter could only agree, how could he say no to Wendy Darling? His worst fears had actually come true, and they were taking their tolls on the younf Peter. With much disdain he slowly began taking them back, the Lost boys, the Darling brothers, and even his dear Wendy. As he dropped her from his caring arms back into her bedroom, he could only stare into her innocent eyes. Not wanting to leave Peter held her hands unable to let go. I-I'm sorry Peter, I-I'll never forget you, but I can't stay a child forever ... I j-just can't she whispered hesitantly and leaned against the windowsill giving a short kiss upon his cheek . Once her lips parted from his skin it was easy to see she was fighting back tears. G-Goodbye Peter she sniffled closing the windows and the curtains before beginning to sob, Wendy did not want to make the situation more miserable then it already was. Goodbye Wendy the lad responded touching his cheek as he slowly began to float back through the scattering of large gray clouds that hung high above his head.

Trying his hardest to keep things interesting he tried do go about things like nothing had ever changed, though it was a hard task. It just wasn't the same without having everyone he once knew and enjoyed by his side anymore. Peter Pan soon began loosing interest in everything he once loved. He no longer traveled, he no longer fought, he no longer laughed, and he no longer flew. Due to his lack of actions the Indians drifted away from the island using hand carved canoes, a handful of mermaids began to swim to new exotic places, the villain Captain Hook had ordered his ship to rise anchor and set sail, even Peter's trusted partner Tink silently fluttered away once the spark that had once fired so brightly in her friend's heart had faded away. Peter Pan moved his old home in the forest to more higher grounds, wanting to get away from anyone and anything. Building a tree house at Rocky Peek he nonchalantly watched the calm seas. No matter how hard he tried, Peter was unable to regain his childish nature as well as forget about Wendy. It felt as if he was gradually fading away from existence. Boats began to frequently travel in and out of Neverland Island, as a little town sprouted up bringing all sorts of tourists and residents. By then Peter Pan was a mere childhood story a myth if you wish, it is said that if you listen very closely you can hear the faint tune of his flute echoe around the island softly traveling with the wind. Now 'the boy who wouldn grow up' was something no one believed nor really cared for anymore.

.。Peter Pan is mainly seen as a youthful, boastful, and careless boy. He isn't afraid to point out how great he is, even when such claims are questionable at times. The lad has a nonchalant, devil-may-care attitude, and is fearlessly cocky when it comes to putting himself in danger. Peter can also be quite selfish and stubborn, depending on the situation. Peter is a skilled swordsman, one of the reasons he was able to take on his adult enemy Captain Hook. He has remarkably keen vision and hearing. He is skilled in mimicry often able to copy the voice of anyone he wishes to with much ease. Peter Pan is sensitive about the subject of 'growing up'. He often laughs at the fact that some children actually want to become adults, though he shudders at the fact that the same fate may fall upon him too. After the departure of his friends and his love interest Wendy, he become has some what depressed and finally loses the will to fight. He still holds a hint of his former self within him, but Peter often mopes around secretly on the island. Choosing to remain hidden and quiet among the trees and shadows as he examines the islanders daily routines, without interferring with anyone or anything.

A pair of unique blue colored eyes slowly flickered open as a yawned immediately rose up to cover a short yawn, as the body shifted into a more comfortable position. Choosing to nap on tree branches wasn't the smartest idea, though it did enable the lad to escape from everything, even if it was only momentarily. You see, dangling a few feet from the ground in a large oak lay the well known and feared apprentice, Shouji. He wasn't evil nor cruel, though his title of being the manager's sort of right hand man did bring it's disadvantages, such as the lack of companions and trust. All of this was just a nightmare better yet a curse, there were no bright or positive side to this situation to this whatsoever. "I hate summer" were the first words to escape from his thin lips, this season was the least favorite due to the fact that it attracted more customers making running errands and missions for the manager more frequent and longer, not to mention it was hot all the time. Listening the rustling feet, loud conversations, bright lights, and music was all at tad annoying to be quite honest. To make matters worse the Bathhouse was in constant business all night long, all the panicking and complaining was the perfect remedy for a never ending headache. Holding the wooden instrument close to his beating chest the male's dark orbs slowly shifted up to the night sky, if there was one thing Shouji liked about summer it was what it had to offer after the sun set down. During this warm time of the year the moon hung brightly and full, there was a large handful of stars sprinkled every where and the memorizing flight of the groups fireflies. Shouji had spent most of the evening up here, luckily no one had spotted him or even bothered to call him down for something.

It seemed the manager had no use for him today, which could only make the teen more content. The less he had to see and hear from his boss the better, it was cruel how the same sentence was used to pain him each day Have you found out what those initials mean yet Shouji, have you boy? his grip around the violin tightened at the mere thought of it all, it was tiring getting toyed around with and being unable to do anything about it "Funny" he sarcastically sighed to himself, those words always brought a smug look on the manager's face. The fact that Shouji was indebted to him amused the adult. After passing his fingertips over the golden H.H initials on the back Shouji moved into a more upright position. As the apprentice used a few sturdy branches as support and placed his chin upon the smooth surface of the violin as his bow was already in place on the tight stung strings. Preparing to begin he had to admit this soothing environment was inspiring him to start playing a piece, even if it might be short so no attention would directed towards him. Moving the bow to the right, one note was sounded in the night air as something unusual caught his attention "Kasai?" he asked himself out loud, watching the fiery bird makes it's way of the tall tree. What right did the tax collector have leaving his post without any sort of permission ? It must be something truly important for him to be acting so strangely or maybe his job had gotten to his head and he was trying to escape from it all. Not a bad idea, unfortunately it would not work the manager would be furious at such news and would probably make his life miserable and unlivable. As a gentle breeze rustled the leaves and caressed his visage as well as a few stray hairs an odd aroma passed by his nose.

This scent puzzled him, it was something different not of this world "A human?" he whispered. An actual human, what a stupid thought? Well of course it wasn't as if there were different types of humans like there were spirits. No it couldn't be, looking back up it came to his attention that the phoenix had disappeared from sight. Shouji quickly looked down and raised an eyebrow a the scene that was taking place down below, Kasai was offering food to an semi - invisible female. This afternoon, he had heard word of a group of humans disrespecting these grounds and putting the grubby and dirty hands on everything including the food, they slowly turned into the four legged animals known as pigs. So it had indeed turned out to be a fact. The lowest of the low, served them right, though Shouji thought it was only a rumor this sort of situation was rare very rare. A small smirk played unto his lips Interesting he thought obviously amused, ever since he had arrived in this spirit world he hadn't seen another human being. The thought of having something new in the place was rather, what was the word? Exciting. Staring down at the concerned bird and panicking girl was a sight to see. If she doesn't accept those berries soon she just might disappear permanently, how sad? the male pondered leaning a bit forward to catch a better view without revealing his current position, though if someone concentrated enough they'd be able to catch a small glimpse of the curious 16 year old. It would be best to interfere and make his appearance once all of this was done. What a shame if she goes away, she was sort of cute he pondered teasingly agreeing with his rather mean thought while titling his head to the side with shrugged shoulders, acting like his nonchalant self as usual.
