"Ladies and gentlemen your next American Idol is ..." Ryan Seacrest announced while slowly opening the envelope in his hands as suspenseful music filled the air. A Japanese born teenager starred with curiosity, impatiently wanting to know the final results. "Y-yes? Who is it?" she asked in almost a whisper, her fingers gripped tightly around the book she was reading earlier on her lap."Kris Allen !" the host exclaimed as an eruption of applause burst out. A subtle smile played it's way unto the girl's timid lips while confetti began to fall on stage. Don't get it wrong Adam Lambert's voice was unique, but Hana always seemed to go for the underdogs in which this case was Kris. Meet Hana Chihiro Natsuki the most quiet, timid, and intelligent girl you'll ever have the chance to know, but some can label her as polite and sweet too ! "These American shows are so interesting ~" Hana yawned while stretching her arms above her head obviously tired from staying up all night. Kimiko's idea was a great way to cram in some last minute material except for the fact no one barely caught a wink of sleep. The long haired Asian had heard so much English she was beginning to wonder if she could still speak Japanese. Before finishing her thoughts something began to vibrate in her sweater's pocket causing her to squeak. BEEP BEEP Hana flipped open her phone to read an incoming text.

                                                to: Hana
                                                subject: <3
                                                from: Yumi ~
So have you picked him up yet?
                                                How does he look like?
                                                Is he cute? x33

It was another friend from school ever since Hana had been picked to escort the American boy around, Yumi had become much too obsessed ! Sometimes it seemed like Yumi should have been the 'chosen one' . Hana pushed the glasses up the ridge of her nose and sighed softly. Right she remembered with a childish pout. It was true all Hana did know was his name and a few other things typed on a paper the principal had given them. Having an exchange student wouldn't be all that bad, it was just the fact that it was ... it was a boy ! Just the thought made her nervous how would she be once she met him face to face? A timid wreck that's for sure !

                                                to: Yumi
                                                subject: O . o
                                                from: Hana
No, I haven't picked him up yet ...
All I know is his name.
                                                Eh?
I'm not going to waste time to figure out if he's attractive or not !!!
                                                > . <

The seventeen year old hugged a nearby couch pillow to her chest and gently bit the bottom of her pink lip meaning she was in her deep thoughts. What if he thinks I'm boring or too shy? she pondered already focusing on the negatives. The only reason Hana had agreed were because of her friends and the fact it would look good on her college resume. The bookworm had long ago convinced herself that boys were a distraction, besides being around books and papers all the time erased things like getting dumped and being heartbroken and such. BEEP BEEP Hana's cell vibrated once more with a new message.

                                                to: Hana
                                                subject: <3
                                                from: Yumi ~
Oh I got all excited for nothing D: .
You know ... I've heard that all American boys
think about 'it' most of the time.

Hana tilted her head to the side as she re read the message a few times. "It?" she questioned outloud. What was this 'it' Yumi was referring to? It, it, it she mentally repeated while taping her chin at the same time. A few more seconds passed it was like a light bulb just turned on, Hana suddenly understood. She doesn't mean s-- Hana gasped lightly as a pink blush quickly began to cover her cheeks. That had to be some sort of stereotype, right? It was kinda like saying that all Japanese people wore kimonos everyday, which was far from the truth ! So that had to make Yumi's statement false too. Hana closed her eyes and took in a deep breath or two. It's impossible for a guy to think about 'it' constantly Hana tried to reassure herself, but it still felt like she was lying a bit. Was she about to invite a pervert into her house? No, it wasn't good to jump to conclusions. Shaking her head from side to side Hana wanted to take her mind off the subject, now ! Kimiko soon announced that breakfast was ready that was just the sort of distraction she needed right now. "Oishii !" she first said moving to where everyone else had gathered "Your food always looks delicious Kimiko" Hana commented with one of her honest smile's. She then went on to ask if they were ready to pick the boys up Hana immediately began to look down at her hands " I-I don't think I'm ready either" she shyly admitted.

-dono: this comes from the word 'tono,' which means 'lord.' it is even a higher level than '-sama,' and confers utmost respect.

-kun: this suffix is used at the end of boys' names to express familiarity or endearment. it is also sometimes used by men among friends, or when addressing someone younger or of a lower station.

-chan:this is used to express endearment, mostly towards girl. it is also used for little boys, pets, and even among lovers. it gives a sense of childish cuteness.

sempai: this title suggests that the addressee is one's 'senior' in a group or organization. it is most often used in a school setting, wehre underclassmen refer to their upperclassmen as 'sempai.' it can also be used in the workplace, such as when a newer employee addresses an employee who has seniority in the company.

kohai: this is the opposite of '-sempai,' and is used towards underclassmen in school or newcomers in the workplace. it connotes that the adressee is of lower station.

-[blank]: usually forgotten in these lists, but perhaps the most significant difference between japanese and english. the lack of honorific means that the speaker has permission to address the person in a very intimate way. usually only family, spouses, or very close friends have this kind of permission. known as YOBISUTE, it can be gratifying when someone who has earned the intimacy starts to call one by one's name without an honorific. but when that intimacy hasn't been earned, it can also be very insulting]

Name― Emiko Kaimu
Age― seventeen
Gender― female
AppearanceEmiko is known for being a kind a cheerful spirited girl. It's a bit funny due to the fact that her name actually mean's smiling child. She give's off the impression of being defenseless and frightened, but is quite the opposite. Whenever the situation calls to protect herself, Emiko wouldn't think twice about using her water bending skills. She used to be accustomed to wearing cultural water tribe clothing, proud of the place she was born. Though since the Fire Nation's rise to power she was forced to wear their traditional red and black in order to avoid any any trouble and problems.
Nation― The Northern Water Tribe
Element― Water
Alliance― Neutral
Bio― On a late December night a full moon and a blanket of twinkling starts hung over the well known Northern Water Tribe as their newest addition had just been born. The parents quietly rejoiced at the sight of their healthy baby girl. The mother held her cooing child and knew immediately what she would be called Emiko Kaimu, the smiling child. Call it motherly instinct, but the tired woman just knew her daughter would grow to be the joyous type, she just had the feeling she would be special. It seemed Mrs. Kaimu was right because when Emiko had grown to be eight years old she had revealed the skills that she was in fact a water bender. Years passed and everything was going swimmingly for the Kaimu family and the Northern Water tribe. That is until the horrible news had surfaced, Avatar Aang was dead. The elders of the tribe held constant meetings while parents tried to keep such discussions from taking place in their households. Two years went by and the news of the Fire Nations destructive actions had grown numerous. Yet nothing bad had happened to the water tribe. That all changed when black snow began to fall that unfortunate day. Emiko had been penguin sledding with the little children she had been asked to look after when a young boy pointed out the heavy dark clouds in the distance. Not knowing what it was or why it was happening the teen quivkly escorted the children back to their tribe. Nothing seemed to be going right, loud drums pounded as most the tribes water benders assembled while the adult men began to suit up. Running back home she had caught sight of her father. What's going on? she asked terrified as she held unto him. It's the day we've all been dreading ... the Fire Nation is here. he replied grimly. There was no time to chat, he quickly instructed her where to go to meet up with the rest of the tribe. Before Emiko had the chance to say anything more he gave her a kiss on the forehead and ran towards the direction the other warriors were heading. That would unfortunately be the last she would see of her father. Emiko quickly reached the destination her father had described, it was a shore about two miles away from the tribe. There were about four boats with men at their sides loading in the elderly, women, and children. Once Emiko had found her mother she clutched unto her as a few master water benders conjured up fog to conceal their escape. Although Emiko could see nothing, she could still imagine the horrible things that were currently happening due to all the noise. Loud booming bombs could be heard hurtling towards the once beautiful Northern Water Tribe, it could be heard crumbling to its doom.

After days at sea, what was left of the water tribe had finally arrived to their marked destination. This land had been hand picked long ago, when the elders had planned an escape location just in case this day would come. Despite all that had happened, they survived and began to build themselves back up. Still nothing was like it was before, people tried to stay optimistic but fear and depression were still scribbled into their eyes and actions. They had even been forced to by fire nation clothing in order to avoid any trouble with soldiers. Emiko just couldn't stand seeing her once proud and happy people so sad and broken-hearted. There were whispers among small groups of people, whispers about rebellions against the fire nation. Benders and fighters alike were joining together to make sure justice would be done. Emiko couldn't help, but be intrigued by such news perhaps she should find these rebels instead of sitting around all day wondering when this chaos will end. With much thought and consideration she wrote her mother a letter saying she was going to run away and find this group and possibly help bring an end to this horrible war. Emiko disappeared into the night with a bag containing of a few of her belongings and a small amount of money. As she traveled farther and farther away the water tribe girl couldn't help but get second thoughts about this whole rebellion idea, was she prepared to get herself in such serious business. Was she skilled enough to go against Fire Nation soldiers? Maybe it'd be best just to stay neutral and avoid fighting for now.
Aspirations― To learn how to better her water bending skills.
Likes― Penguin sledding, water, sharing laughter, friends, rain, the moon, the ocean, peace, and having a great time.
Dislikes― Being alone, violence, greed, destruction, hot/dry weather, wearing fire nation clothing, living in fear, and losing loved one's.
Fears― Although Emiko doesn't like to admit it, ever since her escape during the unfortunate Fire Nation attack on the Northern Water tribe she's grown to be fearful of fire benders.
Other― Lately Emiko has been debating with herself whether or not to join the Rebellion and fight for a good cause. But she know's first hand what could happen to people when they dare face fire nation soldiers. Having experienced how much they could destroy with their power has made Emiko hesitant about her choice.

and to live long enough to have the chance to finally see the world in a peaceful state.

A long haired female held a large piece of paper in front of her visage as she walked down an empty dirt road "Am I holding this upside down?" she questioned herself out loud once again flipping it in a few different directions. She was looking for a place called the River Village. It was the closest place she could stay for a night and sounded like a good location to practice. Unfortunately she was having no luck thus far. Who knew it would be so hard being on her own? It had only been about a month and she was already homesick. The blued eyed teen sighed softly as she blew a few strands of hair away from her face. The girl then rolled up the map and placed it back into her bag while pulling out a small hand made penguin plush. It was special due to the fact that her mother had made this for her long ago.

"I miss home" she whispered referring to the Northern Water tribe hugging the petite animal against her chest for comfort. Meet Emiko Kaimu, a sweet and polite seventeen year old from the Northern Water tribe and one of the very few waterbenders to survive the terrible Fire Nation attack. It was because of that day she was currently traveling alone, it was because of that day she felt so torn and confused inside. That awful nation had turned her once numerous proud and content tribe, into a small camp of sad and hopeless people. Those horrible moments would forever be etched into her mind especially the day when the remaining warriors from the battle had come to join them. There were few survivors many of whom were seriously hurt, and to Emiko and her mother's dismay her father wasn't one of the one's who live to see another day.

The distant rumble of thunder interrupted her thoughts as she looked up and realized the bountiful amount of dark clouds that hung over her head. A small rain drop plopped it's way unto her cheek Rain she thought to herself. The female didn't really get to experience rain that often, only on the little travels out of the Northern Tribe she would take with her father when she was younger. Emiko had always believed getting caught in the rain was always a soothing sensation, getting drenched in water was a wonderful feeling. Well, what could you expect from a waterbender? Being one with water just came naturally. As she looked forward and something quickly caught her eyes, something that made her heart flutter with relief.

A sign ! The River Village was just ahead. Emiko began to grow a bit excited as the sight of the small place was coming into view. Suddenly the pitter patter of rain had become more rapid and stronger it immediately began to wet Emiko and her little penguin friend. She closed her eyes for just a second soaking the moment in, if only could make all her problems go away. For example these Fire Nation clothes she was forced to wear for her protection, instead of wearing her relaxing blue and white attire she would have to wear these violent red and black colors. Well for one thing it was better than being caught or questioned by anyone.

Finally reaching the town it was just as she expected, empty. Everyone must have been inside getting warm and avoiding getting wet. Going under a closed up shake for cover Emiko looked both left and right to make sure no one was around. Once it sure that the cost was clear she slowly began to wave her hand over her body, collecting the water that had soaked the outfit. A smile played unto her lips as she twisted and turned the it the air before dropping it to the ground. "I almost forgot about you" Emiko remembered waving her hand over the toy as a small ball of water came off and dropped to the ground "Better".

Her eyes then wandered back up to the scenery placed in front of her. From the looks of it the Fire Nation hadn't had much influence on this town yet, which was a good thing, a great thing in fact. These people could continue living in peace for now, as her eyes continued to examine her surroundings she came across something she hadn't noticed before. Her heart sunk a bit a the sight Two girls ! she mentally exclaimed, what if they had caught sight of her waterbending herself dry? Though there was nothing to worry about, right? They didn't seem like a negative threat, nor did they look like they were fire nation. Unless the pair were undercover, she had heard stories of people from the fire nation dressing up as normal citizen's in order to spy on them without causing panic or suspicion. Her heart began to beat faster at the thought, should she run? No that would only attract attention, it'd be best to stay put and hope they hadn't caught a glimpse of anything.

                                    [[ First post ! I hope it's alright ~ ]]

Let's see~ Ao and Liu have met and are currently in River Village in the western Earth Kingdom. Shin, Kohaku, and Zhen are at the ruins of Taku, which is an abandoned city (and now the main rebel camp) in the northwestern Earth Kingdom.

Emiko gasped lightly as she noticed that she was caught watching. Inhaling sharply the waterbender quickly turned her stare elsewhere, but it was already too late. She couldn't help but blush lightly from the embarrassment, the female looked down at the penguin as if asking it for help hoping, better yet praying that this stranger hadn't noticed anything unusual at all. "Hello there," the girl spoke recognizing her presence "Is there something you need?" she continued. Emiko exhaled gently, relieved that she hadn't pointed anything out. From the sound of her voice the person opposite from her didn't seem like she was looking for any trouble, in fact she had a rather friendly tone. "Hello" Emiko greeted softly as her eyes slowly shifted upwards until it met the stranger's. Was her mind playing tricks on her or was the petite girl actually smiling at her? Well this kind gesture made her feel more at ease, almost as if it were safe to speak to her. Walking out from under the shack's shelter, Emiko was once again introduced to the light raindrops. "I'm so sorry, I was staring" she apologized as a small smile of her own appeared. "I-I was just wondering why you two girls were standing in the rain, most people look for cover in this sort of weather" Emiko explained as a nervous giggle followed. Her statement wasn't entirely true, but there was no way she was going to reveal she was watching the pair because she was prepared to pin them down as spies. The last impression Emiko wanted to give was that she was paranoid, but who wouldn't feel that way during such hard and untrustworthy times?

While awaiting the small girl's response, the female was right about to conclude that it was safe not to label this pair as any sort of threat. So much for that thought. Suddenly, Emiko cheeks were surprisingly clasped and now inches away from the other stranger's visage. "Oh, please don't hurt me" the unrevealed waterbender managed to whisper with her lips slightly puckered out, due to the fact that there were hands pressing on both sides of her face. Having no choice but to look directly into the opposite person's eyes, Emiko couldn't help but notice that there was something special about them. She was in fact staring straight into pools of uniquely green irises. To be quite honest she had never seen anything like them, they were a rather beautiful shade in fact. "Kin! Ao, look! It's real kin! Holy catgator, they really exist!" she began to say with excitement sprinkled all over her voice. "Kin?" Emiko quickly questioned? This girl didn't seem like she could be from their sister tribe. Not that she had ever gone to visit the Southern tribe. They were on two opposite of the world afterall and the trip to arrive there was long and rigorous, it was often left up to the men.

This stranger's accent and appearance were well, different ! But in a good way, an interesting way better yet. If there was one good thing about walking around from city to city it was seeing all the different people Emiko never got to see up at the Northern Tribe. Though there was one question that remained unanswered, what did she mean by kin? Unless, not it couldn't be ... she was a waterbender too ! But how did she figure it out? Emiko hadn't revealed herself that easily did she? Oh what to do, what to do? Her secret had been found out and she hadn't even hung around this pair for more than five minutes. Calm down Emiko, you don't know if she means that she tried to reassure herself. It was true there was nothing saying she was talking about being a waterbender, and Emiko wasn't going to let such valuable information slip out so easily and by accident. Especially since there were fire nation soldiers afoot, who knew if any of them were secretly listening.

Emiko then found herself staring back into the girl's green eyes once more, something about them reminded her of stories her mother used to tell her. Tales about waterbender's outside of the North and South pole, yes it was starting to come back to her. There were people who had the same ability as them, they just looked different and lived in an entirely different enviroment. These people lived in swamps ! Emiko had always thought her mom had made that up, just another interesting bedtime story to help her fall asleep. Though the adult always reassured her that this was in fact true, and that although we had different features and came from a completely different place, they were still connected in some way. Hopefully that's what she meant by kin. Emiko light hues glanced left then right, just to make sure it was just the trio that was present. "O-Oh, Kin" she began to say, hoping her conclusion was indeed correct. " You must be from the Foggy Swamp Tribe" Emiko tried to smile but it was difficult due to her current situation.

Emiko---[ ]--- Kaimu

After a few more seconds ticked by, Emiko was finally released from the unusual yet interesting embrace. The female nodded in agreement at the girl's comment about rain. There truly was something likable about it, with every rain drop that comes in contact with your skin you feel the more relaxed, well that was just her opinion. It wasn't very often you heard people actually appreciating this sort of weather, most would rather it be sunny and warm all the time. "Looks like we have something in common" Emiko commented finishing her sentence with one of her genuine smile's. It was funny what Ao had decided to call her for now, 'miss water tribe'. Ao soon introduced herself and held out her hand "I'm Emiko of the Northern Water tribe" she kindly replied shaking her offered hand without hesitation, glad that things were starting off so splendidly. "It's a pleasure to meet you both" the waterbender quickly added also referring to the happy-go-lucky girl named Liu.

It was interesting how someone could immediately tell where you were from just by looking at your unique features, in which this case were their eyes. Maybe that was how the foggy swamp teen had been able to recognize as someone from the water tribe. Liu had been bit harder to pin down, but she had a feeling Ao came from the Earth Nation. Emiko couldn't help but feel lucky she had stumbled upon the two, they were a rather optemistic looking group. Ever since the Fire Nation's terrible reign of terror and power, it had become much harder to find people who still held hope and some amount of happiness within themselves. Now another question came to mind, what were they doing here ? Maybe their homes had been affected by the Fire Nation too? Or perhaps they just wanted to get away from it all and travel around, before everything changed for the worse. Then there was one more thing, but the likely hood of any of the two being part of the rebellion was slim. What are the chances one of them is a rebel? Emiko thought to herself. "Are you two staying here for the night? Or just passing by?" the long haired seventeen year old asked with with curiosity.

These two girls certainly were interesting character's especially miss Liu. Emiko couldn't help but smile, the foggy swamp tribe member's seemingly positive nature was rather contagious. "I'm pleased to meet you too" the girl spoke bowing her head down in the process, she was raised to speak in a polite matter. Liu immediately began to inform her about the fact they were about to go grab a bit to eat, hopefully Emiko's presence wasn't preventing them from doing so. Well perhaps it was the contrary due to the fact that Liu was currently begging her counterpart to let their newly found friend tag along. "I-I wouldn't want to be any trouble" the waterbender shyly admitted just in case the Earth kingdom girl felt like she was intruding. Though it seemed Ao was actually on board for the pitched idea.

Her response was such a relief "Thank you, I truly appreciate it" Emiko giggled happily, company was just what she needed even if it were for a little while before they all parted their own. To be quite honest she was secretly hoping she could come along with the duo, it wasn't as if she were in any set course on her own anyway. Those things could be sorted out later Emiko had a little idea as to how she could repay them for their kindness. "I think I owe to you to atleast find someplace to eat, please?" the water tribe girl grinned, in fact she had noticed a small restaurant on her way into the village. With a short nod she slowly began leading the way, hoping they would except her offer.

Their destination was quite a short distance from the spot they were previously standing in, in about a two minute's she had already found her way to 'Lee Wei's Restaurant'. It seemed Lee was a rather popular name in the Earth Kingdom, let's just say she had heard it at least a dozen times from her trips from earth to earth village. The little dining place looked like a safe spot to chat in until Emiko had noticed the unfortunate scene taking place. She took notice to a little girl waving and hesitantly waved back, who could resist she was just that adorable. HYer attention was quickly diverted when something else caught her eye.

T wo Fire Nation soldiers stood laughing near a Earth Kingdom man with a cart full of cabbages, "Don't tell me your bringing those pathetic things in here !" he exclaimed loudly "Yes these hardly seem edible" added the other nudging his friend. "P-please don't do anything, I just came to deliver a few" stuttered the man, obviously protective of his bountiful vegetables. "Are you disobeying orders?" the first soldier growled as he nodded to the other, as if signaling him what to do. "For such rude manners we could do worse, but well be pitiful and leave you with a warning" he said raising his hand towards the cowering man and his cart. Emiko couldn't help but gasp, what was he about to do? She began to tremble herself as she closed her eyes unable to face the conclusion to this. The cabbage man quickly held both of his arms in front of himself assuming the worse. The soldier shot a small amount of fire at the cart only to have it quickly sizzle away due to the light rain. The pair of troublemakers laughed as they made their way into the establishment. "My cabbages !" the male dramatically yelled as he quickly began to pick through which one's that had been burnt or not.

Before Emiko could go to his side he began to pushing his cart away mumbling and wailing simotaniously. Her heart beat at a fast pace as the sight of firebending made her so frightened inside. Ever since the invasion of the Northern Water Tribe, she had grown very fearful of firebenders in her mind they only held evil in their hearts. And from what she had just seen Emiko would continue to percieve them in that matter. If only I could help the female thought to herself, she didn't have to much confidence in her water bending abilities. This only made her thoughts about joining the Rebellion all the more confusing. If she was scared of just two fire nation soldiers, how would she feel when she would have to face dozens of them?

[[ I'm sorry about going straight to the restaurant, I just wanted to help the group move along a bit. Plus I was bored and remembered the cabbage man from a few episodes and decided to put him in <3 ]]

The extremely cool president of the original Host Club, and quite the charmer, when he isn’t cleaning up the club’s mess and selling their stuff, of course. The president is known for his calm demeanor, high intellect, and his scheming ways. This guy is greedy, and will exploit his club in any way possible if it meant receiving money. He isn’t really a host, but a fair share of girls still come to see him and his composed attitude.

( Spring ) - - It truly is the most beautiful time of the year.
( Sun ) - - It gives me hope that a new day will come.
( Trust ) - - I rely on my friends and family to be there for me, and trust is important.
( Pastries ) - - They are an absolutely delicious and crave fulfilling treat.
( Violin ) - - A nice classical instrument, it helps pass the time.
( Love ) - - I believe it brings out the best in us, it's a powerful and exciting feeling.
( Girls ) - - Women are simply irresistible don't you think? The soft hair, the giggling, the slight blushes.
( Sports ) - - To be in athletic shape I play all types, from tennis and swimming to even a bit of soccer.
( Being President ) - - Not only do I get to be in charge of money, I also see the lovely female students.
( Ouji-Sama ) - - Not in the way I'm sure your thinking. Though if that's the type of thing your into go ahead and imagine, I won't stop you. You can say that dramatic goof has actually rubbed off on me. Despite our opposite personalities, Haruki and I have become the best of friends.

( Fighting ) - - We can live without violence, can't we ? From what I've seen the ending results aren't pretty.
( Heights ) - - It's something I grew to dislike when I was a kid,I try to avoid it as much as possible.

( Rumors ) - - Being in a three way competition to see who's club reigns supreme brings about all type of rumors. I've heard things from Haruki and I being 'more' than just friends to the fact that I lost my virginity to one of the young French maids who work at my home. Both of these statements are false of course. Most people would try to put a stop to these tall tales, but I just find it interesting to see what silly stories people come up with these days.

                »» a searing pain burns my soul ;
( Blood ) - - I've always cringed at the sight of it, that would automatically put it under the list of fears, right?
( Thunder ) - - I may become a wuss for admitting it, but I just can't stand that loud crackling noise.
( Snakes ) - - Snakes always make a cold chill run down my spine, definitely not one of my favorite animals.

                »» it's manageable i'm sure ;
( Neat freak? ) - - Alright, you caught me maybe I am a little to organized, but it keeps the club open, right?
( Blackmailing ) - - For the good of the club I tend to 'snoop' a tad into the lives of those that I perceive as a threat, besides holding unto such valuable information can be useful at times.
( Overstudying ) - - I tend to stay up all night to review for a test, I know the answers but I want to make sure I remember everything. In my family being top of my class is that important.
( Overplaying ) - - Sometimes when I have too much on my mind, I tend to play the violin on hours end just to forget things momentarily. At times I get so lost in it I sort of forget to come down for dinner and a butler has to be sent up to the room. That's not to bad of a habit is it?

Emiko---[ ]--- Kaimu

Emiko soon entered after Liu had gone through the doors, taking one last glimpse at yet another victim affected by the Fire Nation. The inside was the quite the opposite from the outside. The trio had just been in a quiet, gray and slightly chilly environment to a warm, bustling atmosphere. The aroma of food lingered in the air, there was a lot of movement too, and conversations from all different corners were taking place. The restaurant was indeed crowded, luckily Liu had found them a nicely located seat right by the window. The waterbender rubbed her arms a tad a bit uncomfortable from the stares they were receiving here and there, she sat down across from Liu and was quickly joined by Ao. Emiko was still a bit dazed from what had just happened, trying to understand why the Fire Nation always seemed to pick and hurt people just for their own pleasure. Her eyes rapidly caught sight of the two soldiers eating and laughing as if nothing had just happened, those cold-hearted monsters. Emiko wasn't the type to think in such a manner, but you could say that just they presence made her feel a bit angry inside. "I sure hope that they have pickled dumplings here" Ao stated, her voice had brought the water tribe girl back to reality.

The long haired female picked up the nearby menu, although she had been traveling in the Earth Kingdom for a few weeks now their food was still a bit foreign to her. It seemed water tribe and Earth Kingdom cuisine were two opposites, but there just had to be one thing that was somewhat close to what she was used to. "Hmm" the girl hummed softly as her finger quickly slid by the different meals noodle soup, roast duck, pau buns. Her finger finally stopped on something she would enjoy "Crab puffs" she exclaimed, that sounded like a good meal. The Northern Water tribe always had caught all sorts of seafood, and crabs were one of them. Now it seemed two out of three girls had ordered something, hopefully Liu had something in mind. Raising her hand she tried to wave over a waiter so they could at least have a few beverages for now. Suddenly something felt odd, there was a few tugs on her clothing. She noticed Ao staring down at her side and quickly looked at the same direction. Emiko gazed down only to see she was seeing a familiar face once again. It was none other than the little girl who had gladly waved to her earlier "It's nice to see you again" Emiko greeted the unexpected stranger.

The petite child already reminded her of the young ones she used to take care of back home, so curious and innocent. Just the sight of her made her feel homesick like shehad felt earlier. "How do you get your eyes blue?" the little one asked in such a sweet tone. Despite the fact that Emiko had worn fire nation clothing to ward of any attention it seemed her eyes had been attracting lot's of it lately. "I guess you can say I'm not from these parts" she started gently. "I come from a place called the Northern Water tribe, all of my people have blue eyes just like these" Emiko smiled warmly, as she looked up to see the man who she assumed was her father a few tables away. "You shouldn't be off on your own little one" the seventeen year old instructed, just like she used to tell the children when they wandered off a bit too far away with the penguins. Her light icy hues met his the girl's dark chocolate irises " These are my friends Liu and Ao" she began as she pointed to each female, "And I'm Emiko" the waterbender grinned after she finsihed introducing herself again. It seemed coming to this River Village was the best choice she had made on her trip thus far, lots of introductions were taking place today.
