Hey Kai, Kona and everyone else. I'm doing fine since I last logged in in the afternoon, both of the parties I went to were hella mellow.

Oh, and I just downloaded over 15 new soundfonts! That means I have new tambres and instruments to use in my mixes, and I already have an awesome jazz standard ready for the update. It's gonna kick a** I guarantee it. 3nodding

Mix - Your mixes always kick a**, but I must say I'm intrigued. I didn't even know such things as sound fonts ever existed. ^^;

Sound fonts are what I have been using ever since I've started; it's been forever since I downloaded some new ones. Basically, a soundfont is a recorded sample(s) of an instrument placed on a keyboard. From there it can be used as a normal instrument on a composing software. There are a lot of sites that have a huge database of them, and sorting out all the crap takes some time. I like to get the SF2's that are recorded by an actuall musician/composer since I know they will have the right equipment + they won't just snip a note from a recording and bend the pitch for all of the notes. It's kinda hard to explain, but I hope that clears it up a bit. :B
