So I've been trying to get back into competitive Magic, and since one of the top archetypes is WU Humans, I figured I'd try to riff on it.
When NPH was new I opened up playsets of Puresteel Paladin and Batterskull so I figured I'd try to put them to use. I realize that without SFM that Batterskull is ridiculously expensive, but it's worth a try. I don't know much about playing in the current Standard, so if you have any advice please go ahead and post it.

Main things I want to know:
- How feasible is it to rely on getting metalcraft? Am I going about it the right way?
- What kinds of removal can I expect to come up against most often?

Obviously this is just a rough sketch of a list. It should be able to start cranking out bodies fast enough, but I don't really know what I'm racing against. I might take out a few creatures and replace them with Fiend Hunters or Relic Warders.
Also inb4 "play sword of war and peace lol": I'm just throwing this together based on what I already have. Might pick up some singles later if need be.
Getting Metalcraft is extremely difficult to do without running Memnites and Signal Pests, and if you're doing that, building Tempered Steel is just easier and more synergistic.

Beyond that, I can't really help much. Typical removal is red (now with black's Tragic Slip), and most blockers are white (though with the green deck having come up recently, who knows what else you'll have to deal with?).

I can see this going one of 3 ways. Each deck has it own synergistic game plan and your subdividing them into a less synergistic whole.

Agree with above poster, you are basically making your deck unsynergistic by trying to make it do do much at once. Our Champion of the Parish and Honor of the Pure really don't like that we're running 4x Memnite for example.
Also, why are you running Snapcaster?
You want to run more Geist of Saint Traft, that bro is one of the most oppressive creatures in standard.
