frankly... I never found the eldrazi to be that OP, and I know a lot of people bitched about them when they came out- but it's like- big deal- huge creatures... yay? Big creatures are for showy wins, and showy wins don't tend to be consistent wins...

Mind you I'm all for blue, I like to mix it with black, white, or both. I don't ignore the other colors though.

and you're complaining that people are reacting negatively to your posts, but you're using very broad terms as if they're supposed to make us rage with you- and they don't.

Btw Liq, I loved your comment about Zombies in Onslaught xD yeah, Zombies there were awesome, but who could see them over the rebirth of Slivers.

Also, you talk in terms of casual play, well- there's not really much to talk about casual play- there aren't specific rules or standards beyond the obvious- and in fact that's the point of casual- play as you will.

Now I'm a casual player- but only because I don't have the time, money or location to be a better player... I've been to two events and had to get a new player ID both times because they were so far apart, I kicked butt in a Coldsnap booster draw, but I got stomped at a FNM, now if I got to play better players more often, it would allow me to really crack down on what does and doesn't work- instead I only play on rare occasion and that leaves me wanting to play the grandiose- which as I said before- isn't reliable...

So back to you complaining about us complaining about you- maybe instead of complaining you could start an actual conversation- afterall, most of us don't bite (Strangers). And most of us are newb friendly.

First zombie I could remember of in Onslaught was Accursed Centaur.

Mind you, I won a few drafts with that card.

The perfect illustration of how overpowered innistrad is:

When the intro decks were first spoiled, i looked at the cards they had used for the little window preview thing, and found myself wondering why in the hell they had decided to use uncommons for all of them.

They hadn't. That is the power level we are dealing with.

Innistrad is good, yes, as are all the other sets. However, it is far from being overpowered.

Yeah, there's some really good cards that will more than likely make or break a deck, but for the most part, some of the cards are rather...lackluster.

As mentioned before, some cards state that you need to sacrifice a Human and not always are you going to be able to have a Human creature (or token) ready. There's also some cards that are really only good after something has died (Caravan Vigil for example) or some that are just plain bad.
