My thoughts exactly.
Similarly, looks at the bottom left corner of this pic, you'll notice one snake doesn't... quite... fit in.(Mebbeh it haz sumsin tu du wit da hedron necks tu eet?) As for that link you posted... they're too slim, tbh. |

Which for all we knew could have been hedrons. P: Is it no coincidence that this card has kicker? D: Also, the Cobra trap snake just looks weirdly lit. I don't think anything was hidden there. |

There was a blown-up picture of it, and the snake actually appears to be coming out of the hedron.
This leads me to believe that "Traps" are actually the hedrons floating around, some of which are still lying dormant ever since the Eldrazi disappeared, but now and again... they "activate".(See: Hedron Scrabbler.) |

`Spencer-Kun` There was a blown-up picture of it, and the snake actually appears to be coming out of the hedron. This leads me to believe that "Traps" are actually the hedrons floating around, some of which are still lying dormant ever since the Eldrazi disappeared, but now and again... they "activate".(See: Hedron Scrabbler.) But Maro has said multiple times, as do many of the flavor texts, that traps are simply left behind by previous explorers to hinder others from following. |

If you're referring to the mythic status, it definitely deserves it. Pro-demon and pro-dragon are very flavorful. And they never really said that Mythics wouldn't be constructed staples. |
