I guess I see Snare good in that purpose, but it seems better as sideboard at best.

So outpost is just a Elspeth you keep having to pour mana into? Should just run Elspeth then?

In an average deck, Outpost has 4 answers. Elspeth has 4 Forces, + whatever other counters, + whatever creatures they run.
Elspeth also has no synergy with the rest of the deck (aside from making Soldiers); that is partially my concern with running her. Outpost mixes with Crucible, Trade Routes, and receives some support (about the same as Elspeth, really) from Tithe.
Or run both? You're pretty lacking in the win condition.

Right, that's part of the problem.
Where do I draw the line at synergies and start putting in things that are stronger? The hardest part about it for me is that it just doesn't feel like there's much I can cut.

Like I've mentioned, the main things I think could be cut are Vedalken Shackles (which is backup in case the Bridge doesn't work), Soul Snare (which handles certain creatures, but if said creatures resolve, I've probably lost anyways), and Path.

But...I just don't know. Shackles and Snare have synergy with ET, Path helps handle creatures of indeterminate size that Scroll can't, yadda yadda.

Edit:
Ran the deck against two versions of Affinity...and ouch. Affinity is definitely a weak spot, because the Ornithopters and Signal Pests go right under the Bridge, receiving the Plating after being declared as attackers. The G/W Affinity versions actually just outrace the deck as a whole.

There's not a lot I can think of for boarding options; Kataki is dangerous to me, as is Serenity, but those look to be the primary options.

Additionally, tried Elspeth in place of the Snare and the Shackles, and she just never seemed to work out. I was always Brainstorming her away and hoping to draw her later (or discarding her to Peace of Mind).
I have the sudden audacity to attempt to create a Mishra, Artificer Prodigy EDH deck.

Yeah, this is going to be a bit crazy.

See, the wording on the card will let me snag the same card if I can manage to get it into my graveyard (or back to my hand or library) before the ability resolves. Thus, I'm going to need a bizarre counter engine that lets me murder my own spells.

Chalice of the Void is the obvious one, but getting my artifacts to cluster at a specific CMC seems like trouble. Plus, there's plenty of non-artifact support that's going to be filling the deck (quite possibly even the counter engine itself), so...

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure activating an ability doesn't count for Mishra's trigger.

Oh, misunderstood your question. Yea, you're correct unfortunately.

Blood Funnel.

Dovescape would be sweet but isn't allowed in Mishra EDH.

Nullstone Gargoyle is a possibility as well.
Both Tezzerets seem needed.
You could always Arcane Denial your own spell to get an Ancestral Recall.

This is a good idea, in fact, slapping an Arcane Denial on a Isochron Scepter will let you Ancestral Recall for 2 mana at least once a turn. Isochron is my favorite shenanigans card smile
Also, a nice little Counter/Stick package can help protect your deck, especially in your colors.
Thus far:
Mishra

Blood Funnel
Nullstone Gargoyle

Tezzeret the Seeker
Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas

Arcane Denial
Isochron Scepter

Spell Crumple
Hinder
Demonic Tutor
Vampiric Tutor
Sol Ring
Mana Crypt
Mana Vault
Oblivion Stone
