Welcome to Gaia! ::

I've never played red. Well on occasion when i'm playing a with a friends deck unless i count the deck from evening tide (i think) that was red and black.

I would like some helpful suggestions for a red burn deck. Besides the vast acres of burn cards the only creatures i'm thinking of right now is the raging goblins and the goblin sharp shooters.

I don't care about T2 or anything like that.

If Sharpshooter and Ragin Goblin are the only creatures you plan to use, then don't use the Raging Goblins at all. They'll functionally be a Shock that turns off after a couple turns.

Lightning Bolt, and X Burn Spell (only need one set) Shock and Burst Lightning are all standards for Burn decks. After that since you're not going for tourney play you can add goodies like Flame Javelin and Firebolt and Fireblast.
Also Browbeat: They either take 5 for three mana or you draw 3 cards, it's up to them. In a dedicated burn deck the opponent should always pick to take the five, but 5 for 3 isn't bad.
The list is really quite large for casual. The important thing to remember is to burn the opponent, not his creatures. Unless he gets a utility creature like Life gain or damage prevention, the damage is better spent at his head. Burn is about racing.
Keldon Marauders and Mogg Fanatic are about it for burn creatures.

Jaya Ballard, Task mage is a prime choice for a burn deck. You can turn dead land draws into Incinerates with her. The deck should take off without her though.
Jackal Pup and Ball Lightning can assist on the creature front.

No X spells is my recommendation. Not a one.

Run 4 Fireblasts - they're a great surprise card.

With all the non-basics that everyone loves to use, Price of Progress is one of the most damaging spells per mana cost. If they have two nonbasics, its priced like a Shock. Three, and you have a Lightning Bolt. Four, and you exceed every other burn card.

Your lands should be mostly basic with maybe a few damage cards like Barbarian Ring and Mishra's Factory.

Like 2x Ring?

And I would SB most of my PoPs. Dead cards are never fun. But of course, 4 should be in your 75.
One personal touch I like is Hell's Thunder. It's not the greatest compared to some cards, but it's a cheap 4 damage on turn 3, and then 4 uncounterable damage when you have 5 mana since it unearths. It's only a few dollars or so, so it's easy to get ahold of.
