If you hit Green Sun's Zenith off a cascade spell, you have no target for it so it does nothing. It also does nothing for your cascade creatures since they won't cascade off searching for Green Sun's Zenith.

Birds+cascade is also less then desirable, and you really need some mana fixing. M10 lands plus some Shocks will go along way to making it easier to cast spells in a timely fashion.
