Yes two is enough to play a game. However I advise one of you to find and read some books.

If it's two of you, that's one DM and one player. I personally would advise having a DM and 3-5 players...too many players can really bog it down. I feel like to have a good experience, you're gonna want to do it online or find more folks.

(not to mention i hate almost any rules WotC makes since they ruined THAC0 with D20)
