Hrmmm. This makes me torn. lol I doubt I would get to play much anyway since the closest shop is a good distance off campus and I dont think they do Vanguard there. But I shall keep it in mind. What do you play?

My store doesn't play CFV but I'm going to MAKE THEM. :3
I play Granblue, because it's a fun little trick deck. Also, it's Zombie Pirates and there is a card called God Eating Zombie Shark. It's delicious.

This is sooo gonna be something I spend too much money on.

Good.

The great thing about this game is that you will get your money worth, if not more from the cards you pull. Part of the card's value is based on the ability of the card. A RRR (triple rare) could be worth 15 dollars, but if you pull a RR (double rare) with a really strong ability, like perfect guard, then that card will be worth around 20 dollars. 

Another great thing about this game is that every clan has similar cards to other clans, so sticking with one clan and showing clan pride isn't a bad thing. My main clan is Nova Grappler, but I play about 3 other clans for fun. So when I split a box with friends we each give each other cards for their clan, then use everything else as trade bait, unless someone decides to play a new clan. For instance, when I split a box with 2 of my friends, one of my friends chose nurakami and the other chose gold paladin. Since there wasn't a lot of nova grappler stuff in set 7, I chose angel feather. Everyone got cards they wanted and they were happy. It made deciding who gets what a lot easier, rather than fighting over the rarity of the cards.

Now that we have have more sets and a rapidly growing community for it, they have announced that there will be North American and world championships for the game. So there should be some regional tournament for natural quallifiers.

Qualifiers are in september and october, nationals is in november, worlds is in december.
