Welcome to Gaia! ::

Okay I was trying this deck out against a friend and it got crushed hard. It's pretty solid in my opinion but it needs a little oomph when it comes to big big creatures. I like so far but I need some advice on how to improve it. So if there are any helpful suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Lands
X9 Island
X9 Mountain
X4 Sulfur Falls
X2 Ghost Quarter-I wanted something in case of moorland haunt and nephalia drownyard.

Creatures
X2 Chandra's Phoenix-seems really easy to use it's effects in this deck.
X1 Snapcaster Mage-I had a spare one so I thought why not. Not planning on a second one

Enchantments
X4 Burning Vengeance-The main piece of the deck.
2X Secrets of the dead-Needs more card advantage but I'm still iffy on it.

Instants and Sorceries
X4 Mana Leak
X4 Dissipate
X1 Silent Departure-It could deal with a creature and buy me a spare turn I guess.
X4 Incinerate
X4 Geistflame
X1 Slagstorm-to clear the field of tokens and other nuisances.
X2 Desperate Ravings
X2 Faithless Looting
X 4 Think Twice

Planeswalker
X1 Chandra, The Firebrand

So any opinions? ideas? some suggestions I really like it but it's just not there yet.
Most of the Burning Vengeance decks I've gone up against tend to not worry so much about creatures and is more about flooding the field with cheap flashback and using snapcaster to reanimate your control spells. One I've gone up against I think only ran four creatures, which was four Snapcasters...and he completely rolled over me with me using a creature centric deck...so it's going to have be a balance of control and burn...don't be afraid to run some of the dual lands to take advantage of more flashback...using the enemy dual lands from Innistrad is something I saw this guy doing and he was making use of things like forbidden alchemy as well simply for the flash back and throwing flashback cards into the graveyard and keeping control cards...it was a work of art.
Drop the Secrets and add more Ravings/Lootings. Then, drop an Incinerate and a Dissipate and add the other.

Secrets is one of those cards that looks really good for the archetype, but ends up stalling it out too long. You find yourself not needing or wanting the extra cards it brings, and with no way to pitch extra lands, it clogs your hand with cards you simply can't use.

Having the filters in Ravings and Looting can help eliminate that, as well as increase your flashback counts.

1-2 Devil's Plays could be cool too. It sounds kinda silly, but I even kinda like Dream Twist what with it being pretty cheap to flashback and throwing other flashback cards in the grave.
