Are there still no rumors of Chaos update? (Warhammer 40K)

I haven't heard much beyond the chance that they're going to sixth edition soon. I'm working on painting a squad of Chaos to be Company of Misery, but I'm not going to get into Chaos until I have a brand-spanking new codex in hand.

Well, here's a little update; rumors of sixth edition, Chaos being updated and new hordes of units for Nids and Necrons, not completely guaranteed nor if even within the next year, but that's what I've heard.

A little is a bit of an understatement. Still, it and the Tau need an update badly; Tau can barely take half their points down in a battle, never-mind contend against Marines. They really do need some CC units beyond shitty Kroot and I agree that Daemons should just be combined already, no point in separating the two when they should be working together half the time.

As do I! I'm painting mine with shock-white and washed with dead-flesh, then the armor is Chaos-Black with Blood-Red inside all of the detailing, such as the relief carvings inside some of the swords.

Either way, I bet I could attract plenty of people to it, just start up a thread with some WIP conversions, as I'm planning on bulking out some parts of units, reducing others and adding a hell of a lot more pipes and wires to make the look truly Steam Punk.

On my blight I used a light blue for the skin, kind of whitish blue and brownish bleach bone mix for the rock portions of the beasts and such.

Yeah, that would look pretty good! I like to go over them with Chaos and then wash with some Snakebite and then another with Devlin Mud.
Do you do any snow effects? I find adding a very thin layer of some crappy greenstuff I found over just the tops of things to add a snow later looks pretty good, even leave it rough around the edges.
