Welcome to Gaia! ::

Hygienic Dabbler

I'm looking for recommendations for things to buy on GOG because I'm just finishing Shadowrun: Dragonfall (which was awesome!). Thinking about buying Shadowrun: Hong Kong next, but wanna get a few other games too to help fill up our family vacation (visiting grandparents in rural NorCal for 3 weeks).

So Gaia, what do you recommend?

Not sure if they're on GOG, but if you're not scared of the D&D system, then I'd advice Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2, or, if you just want a simple time killer, Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae.
Wasteland 2 is a really good RPG with a combat style similar to Shadowrun. Divinity Original Sin too if you want a more fantasy based RPG.

You may as well just pick up Dynasty Warriors 7/8 instead. Or if you need that Japanese flair, Samurai Warriors 4.

Right, those are pretty good options too if OP has enough space. ^^

I personally enjoyed from GOG:

Arx Fatalis
SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars
Divinity Original Sin (Enhanced Edition)
The Witcher
Legend of Grimrock
Legend of Grimrock 2
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing
Wasteland 2
Pillars of Eternity
Planescape: Torment
Aliens Vs Predator Classic
Desktop Dungeons

And though I didn't purchase Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition from GOG, I still highly recommend it. I bought the physical edition ages ago and have played it for years online, single-player, and on LAN.

Feral Storyteller

I have all the D&D games on GOG but the one I really love is Planescape Torment. Then there is Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura.

My husband is also a huge fan of the Might & Magic series with the 6th game being his all time favorite. And then there is the Ultima series with Ultima 7 being my favorite.

And since there is a sale I say go with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I and II and Pillars of Eternity.

And to top it all off: Grim Fandango, Fallout 2, System Shock 2, and the Shadowrun games are good choices.

If you're into fighters, Guilty Gear X2 is on GOG.
I've been a fan of the series for a decade, totally worth it.
Old school dungeon keeper... only reason I have a GOG account.
