           THE ˟ CLASSES
Innostus, Academy of Magic, behaves just like any other boarding school. Classes run from Monday to Friday, starting at 9AM and ending at 5PM. All students are expected to maintain a full class load of six subjects. There are four core classes that all students must take and each student has an option of two elective classes. They may also choose to join a sports team that will eat up one of their elective slots. Every class includes in its teaching the more normal studies, though foundations of magic does this more than most.

           CORE CLASSES
FOUNDATIONS OF MAGIC ― Foundations of Magic focuses on the theoretical side of magic. The study of magic itself as a whole from various aspects and fields. The knowledge is drawn from all types of magic, from witchcraft to spellcraft. Every student is expected to learn about each others' magic. The main driving point of this class is to not only expand one's knowledge of magic but also teach them defensive measures and tactics when dealing with various types of spellcasters.
PRACTICAL MAGIC ― The practical portion of the academy's syllabus. Here each student gets a chance to practice spellcasting and apply lessons learned from Foundations of Magic to practical situations. Often the teacher creates sparring dummies for the students but there is also student to student sparring. Safety measures are all in place to prevent any damage. Primary Casters have access to a state of the art immersion facility that can simulate any situation and they have access to it during this period.
MAGIC LAW ― The Magic Community has many laws and regulations in place to prevent any major magical catastrophe. Magic Law is a class dedicated to teaching these laws and ensuring all students understand and abide by the code. This class besides focusing on the law itself also delves into philosophical subjects and the world of taboo magic. Laws exist to protect oneself but one must know at times how a law is broken to truly understand the merit of it.
MAGICAL CREATURES ― There are all kinds of magical creatures that exist both within this realm and others. This class aims to teach students about such magical creatures. What they are, what to do when spotted and how to defend against them if necessary. Those with familiars also take additional lessons about their familiar in particular.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION ― Even magicians must keep their body active and thus it is a mandatory class for all students to partake in /gasp/ physical education. Being a school of magic and wonder we do have a bit more than just regular old sports beyond just training the body through running, push ups, and so forth. The academy has both the equipment and facilities for a wide range of sports that exert your body and your magic. One of the most popular sports is “Pulse Ball”, a spin-off on the traditional dodge-ball where you are not allowed to touch the ball at all, but instead must push the ball through magic, and the key to winning is balancing both your physical and magical stamina.

           ELECTIVE CLASSES
POTION MAKING ― Ah what a wondrous world potion making is, a fun hobby, a profitable trade, a good way to get back at your closest enemy! Potion Making run by the infamous Midori is bound to cater to newbie and expert alike. Experience the joy of creating potions, observe the whimsical affects they have and learn and repeat till you are as great a potion brewer as Midori herself. Potion Testers not provided, find closest gullible friend for that role.
DIVINATION ― They say fate and magic are closely intertwined and that those with the sensitivity are able to tap into it and see both past and future. Divination is a class that aims to open ones receptors to such. Here you will learn about ways to see through time. Whether it is through stars, magical orbs, cards, or using one's mind eye, this class will impart you grand knowledge that you may one day find comes quite in handy.
HERBOLOGY ― Maybe not the most funnest class but one that holds many important benefits. With the wide world of plants, magical or otherwise, to know what a plant is, its properties and benefits is important. Maybe you are a healer wishing to expand the knowledge of plants for medicinal purposes. A witch waiting to brew a deadly potion or a druid just itching to use that plant as a deadly weapon. Herbology is a class to cater to anyone's interests.
MAGIC SYMBOLS ― It is once said that magic originated from symbols. While today, you spellcrafters have a wide range of methods from shouting to gestures, the original magic of symbols is still prominent. The study of magic symbols not only allow you be able to translate the "original" spells but open up a world of knowledge for those seeking to perhaps one day stumble upon an ancient spell.
SELF RESEARCH ― For high achieving students they are granted the ability to conduct independent study and have any of the teachers mentor them through it. Students may partake in research in any field as long as they can provide evidence each week that they have made some meaningful progress. Most students choose to use this to develop their own spell or study and research either not on the syllabus or lacking in information in general.
ARTS AND CRAFTS ― Hey not all your school life has to have something to do with magic. Maybe you just want to take a break and relax with an art or craft subject. Maybe you want to learn an instrument, maybe you wish to paint a painting. Just something to help you escape the world of magic even for a bit, this class is the one for you.
DEMONOLOGY ― The study of demons has always been a subject of much debate. Most tell us to never have anything to do with demons, while others speak to the benefits of partnering with them and building healthy relationships. Whether you are for or against the debate on demons, demonology takes an unbiased viewpoint on the world of demons, telling you both the good and the bad of it and letting you decide where your mind sits on it.
OCCULT STUDIES ― Even in the world of magic, there are things that are considered occult, a myth, a rumor, a legend. The study of the occult is less so about giving you these rumors but investigating them. As a class you are presented with various information about the occult world and you dissect them, try and uncover the mystery beneath them.

           THE ˟ SCHEDULE
Students attend the academy for five years; each year they progress upwards in what they're learning. For example, a first year would not be learning the same thing a second year does. Only in two instances do different years share the same class; physical education and electives. Everybody has gym first period, no exceptions. Generally, different years do not play the same sports, but it is at the same time, in the same building. The second instance is for electives. There are five levels in electives, same as core classes - except for arts and crafts, as that's more free-range. However, while the core classes are required, one can change their electives. For example, a first year and a fifth year can end up in the same elective class if the fifth year changes one of their electives to one they have not taken yet. For the playable characters, however, this is impossible, due to how the schedules are set up.
In order to prevent confusion and us having to make more than one teacher for one subject, the following schedule's are set things; you have to follow it. The only things you can decide are your electives, though not which period they are in. We apology for the lack of freedom in this, but since we will not be rping out classes, we ask for your grudging acceptance of this, at the least.

           THE ˟ OTHER NPC's
           For other classmates / teams.

          TEAM IDOL

Every school has a group of students that are considered to be the school idols. Perfect in appearance and in conduct Team Idol does not disappoint. As of currently they are the schools favorite to take a win in this competition, rivaling even the Primary caster team in fame and skill. Composed of both Primary and Secondary casters they are looked up by both sides. The team leader, Emilio is said to be an oracle of strength that rivals the headmaster himself. And no one can forget Karen, the young genius of the team who infamously known for challenging Layna to a duel of wits and winning.

        From Left to Right:
Emilio Rio - Eighteen - Oracle
Diago Summers - Seventeen - Psion
Sian Alavaro - Seventeen - Summoner
Orpheus Eliopoulos - Eighteen - Druid
Karen Contos - Sixteen - Pyromancer

User Image User Image User Image User Image User Image

          TEAM PYSCHO

Every school has its wild ones, Innostus Academy is no different. Only most schools do not harbor children, with slightly twisted minds capable of throwing out magic. Innostus academy has a special class known as the "Special Considerations" class in which these problematic students reside. While they rarely integrate much with the rest of the school, most students know of their existence and at times the class members are allowed to wander freely among the campus. With the coming competition, these students were not excluded from participating. While most found it a chore, a certain few members discovered a tiny loophole in the competition which gave them something they yearned for, freedom. Now this team has gained the ability to wander freely at all times, though needless to say there are under constant monitoring, but no security system is perfect right? Their leader is Lilah Sallis, one of the most notable blood mages in the academy but with a known history for complete hatred towards witches. Sia is also notorious for being a little bit attached to Alistair, whenever she is near him she will give a murderous aura to any student who dare approach her prized teacher.

        From Left to Right:
Eustace Bakas - Fifteen - Necromancer
Eumi Bakas - Fourteen - Telemancer
Thanos Sita - Seventeen - Oracle
Sia Nemeer - Thirteen - Rainbow of Flavors
Lilah Sallis - Sixteen - Blood Mage

User Image User Image User Image User Image

          TEAM TEACHERS

Now this team is quite a bit of a special one because this team in particular are not a team of teachers, that would be unfair to the competition but a team formed from the children of these teachers. Each one one of them are well known in the academy for being such and if not for Team Idol they would have been probable favorites of winning the competition. Now this team however is not one really aiming to win, in fact the purpose of them being put together was one done so by the teachers. They will secretly act as monitors for the competition as a whole and for the most part will work closely along with the disciplinary committee to ensure there is no cheating or rule breaking of any kind. Though naturally this doesn't mean they'll be push overs, they will still put in a good ol try. Just a friendly note that these children were all adopted by the teachers with the exception of Alyssa since well there would have been no way for them to have any based on their ages. The leaders of this team are divided between Lydia and Talia whom were adopted by Lucille and Nel at young ages. The two of them shows grand promise of soon surpassing their parents. But the true powerhouse among them lays in Alyssa who at her young age has mastered already high level lessons in chronomancy.

        From left to right:
        Ember - Eighteen - Pyromancer
Lydia Ikuzu - Fifteen - Psion
Talia Ikuzu - Sixteen - Oracle
Leander Rowe - Seventeen - Spatiomancer
Alyssa Larissa - Thirteen - Chronomancer

           THE ˟ UNIFORMS
There are two sets of school uniforms; one for the primary casters, one for the secondary casters. All students are required to wear their proper uniform. Each uniform has either a necktie or a type of bow, the color designating which year they are in. Red for first years, blue for second years, green for third years, orange for fourth years, purple for fifth years.
Shoes are personal choice; same for both indoors and outdoors. Gym uniforms are either blue sweats or shorts, with a simple white t-shirt and optional blue jacket for when it's cold. Primary casters have a gold stripe down both sides of their leggings, while secondary casters have a silver stripe down both sides. Shoes are color-matching tennis shoes.

           THE ˟ CLUBS
There is a variety of clubs offered by the academy, and which one you join is completely up to you. Surprisingly, clubs are free to both primary and secondary students ( except the student council president - that's primary only ). While the sports club is a bit limited, the culture and student clubs have plenty to offer. If you wish to start a club, one must simply get an application form from the office, get a total of five people to sign it, and ta-da! One only needs to stamp of approval from the Headmaster and you have your very own club. You must join at least one club, but you may only join two clubs at maximum. Now, there are always those who don't have much interest in clubs; for you, the club Dorm Appreciation ( aka go home club ) is the way to go. The president and vice-president are required to attend their clubs every day, and as such are not able to join two clubs. Members are required to attend three days of the school week for their main club; for their second club they must attend two days of the school week. Weekend activity is to be decided upon by the president of the club; if one is part of two clubs that have conflicting weekend schedules then they are allowed to pick one club over the other without getting into trouble, as long as they inform both presidents of their decision in a timely manner.

           THE ˟ DORMS
"All students ( and teachers ) are required to sleep inside academy grounds. Where, exactly, the teachers sleep are forever a mystery to the students, and grounds for much discussion against those who would wish to prank. The students, however, have two dorms; one for the primary casters and one for the secondary casters. Both are reached by the two bridges towards the left ( if you're facing the academy ) of the academy. The dorms of both are divided into two buildings, one for girls, and one for boys, with magic spells keeping both genders from the opposites building. The rooms are divided into two sorts- either for two people, or three. There are no singles. The primary caster's have a more updated building and comforts, while the secondary caster's have older buildings, though in good repair."
Each building is five stories tall; the ground floor, then four floors for the rooms. The first and third floor are for three-people rooms, while the second and fourth are for two-people dorms. Three-people rooms are bigger than two-person, so there are more two-people dorms. Each room contains a set of either two or three beds, nightstands, and desks, with one large closet to share. Each floor has it's own shared bathroom; these only have toilet and sinks. The ground floor has a separate bathroom and bathing area, done in the Japanese style. While there is a basement, it is off limits to students.
