No. Because I'm relatively well educated.

You're not American, I thought, so how could you vote at all in a U.S. election?

If he were American; "would" (in the OP) denotes a hypothetical.

The 'if he were American' part wasn't in the OP.

No specific hypothetical is - hence any can be invoked.

The thread is not "will you vote republican". It is "would you".
I could never see myself voting republican having grown up poor but educated. It's never even been debatable for me personally the right for as long as I've been alive have never had the interest of the majority in mind. This time around looking at the republican line up is like looking at the Legion of Doom from the old Superfriends cartoon.

Fanatical Zealot

Probs not right now, there's not any good candidates on the Republican side. At one point maybe.

If you live in the US, why vote at all?

In the presidential election, we already know who our next president's gonna be a year before a single ballot is cast, is it really likely that We, the People have any more say in any other election than we do in the presidential one, especially considering it's the other elections that actually matter?

who's going to be the next American president this coming year?

I'm wavering between that and third party this election. Clinton's a Machiavellian nightmare who would sell her own mother downriver for votes, and there's something very off about Sanders, though I agree with quite a bit of his policies.

Beloved Lunatic

I just plain won't vote.

You don't deserve a vote.

No, i don't live in the US and we don't have a republican party. I think we had one 20 years ago, but i haven't heard anything about them lately.

You don't have a party quite as right-wing as our Republicans either; take the CSU, and exaggerate it a bit.

If I thought the candidate was the best, then yes.
I would sooner vote for Pol Pot than vote republican.

Hell no. I always find it baffling if a person claim to be a Republican while punching the clock at the same job I'm working at. Only the exclusive type of people are Republican. The type of people who don't have to worry about bills.

Sparkling Cutie-Pie

No. The Republican Party does not share my ideals.
