Grand State University~!

General Introduction:
Hello fellow Gaians, OC Lovers, and Aritst~! We would like to welcome you to our joint Request thread. This thread was created due to the fact that both Diablo and Klayko have a pair of wonderful OCs that they adopted some time ago, but were unable to get art of them due to various "complications" (people hated their design, specifically my guys design). So Grand State University (this thread) was created to help us get art of our to University Professor OCs that we adopted a while back so that we can get them moving along and have them get a much better reference base, character development, and also move a head on their relationship~! Both Klayko and Diablo hope that Grand State University is a thread that is both fun with chats, open mindedness, and so much more than just a simply request thread. We both want you to not only get to know use, but also get to know our characters on a personal and enjoyable level that will make you want to jump for joy~!!!

Personality: - Robert is a very calm, quiet, mellow, timid, and careful individual. He is a man that would rather avoid many social and even at times personal functions due to anxiety and his lack of confidence. In some cases this making him come off as distance, uninterested, and even cold to students as well as fellow professors at the university. Due to this he tends to eat alone, has some squabble (though no intentionally) with others, and at times ins completely misunderstood which can lead to more complications. However Robert finds wonderful comfort in music, he is a sublime violist and even has a master degree in music performance that he doesn't use, more over only very few (including his ex-wife) have seen or even heard him play is prized viola in any instant.

Romantically, Robert has been married once and divorced one, his marriage was one that was pushed upon him and it was not fruitful. Both he and his ex-wife Maria were better friends then a couple, though interaction between the two seems so well you'd think otherwise. At the moment, though going slow and seems to have many complications in trying to keep it under wrap, Robert is involved with a younger, fellow professor found in the Fine Artist Department. Robert's relationship with his man leaves him debating his emotions and even at times making him a big emotional blush ball. He even quotes to himself, "I'm a grown man walking around like a high school girl with her first crush." However, even with that said, Robert is very much in love with him and wants to take it step by step to make sure nothing goes terribly wrong. Though his social awkwardness and timid nature can cause some issues when affection (especially in public) is displayed.

When it comes to work, Robert is a very defensive individual that tries his best to be open minded on the subjects of his work. However, even he will admit he is a bit too defensive or even hostile towards his peers when it comes to his thesis, projects, and any thing that stands in the way of it's progression. With teaching, Robert is a "by the book" professor, but doesn't at all mind creative discussions, open to all interpretations to information, and loves when students challenge him or standing historical information. You will often hear him quote many famous historians, philosophers, sociologist, and politicians when it comes to lectures. Not just pointing out flaws in history, but in arguments, or people themselves.
