█ ▌ ❀ behind the mask. Zeus Atwell is an a*****e. Or, at least, he pretends to be one. He never really grew up around other people, for he was always travelling as a kid, so he never really picked up on what was right and what was wrong. So he tends to say whatever is on his mind, no matter how harsh it cold be. He doesn't really think before he speaks. He can be a bit brash and abrasive, but he really does try. Even if that trying doesn't really... help.

Underneath all of that, though, Zeus is actually super caring and sweet. He cares a lot for the people that he's close to -- as well as his pokemon -- and will do everything in his power to make sure someone isn't upset. Zeus really likes to joke around and tends to always be smiling.

All in all, he's just a big idiot who tries to hard at getting people to like him.

█ ▌ ❀ my story. Zeus Atwell was born into a family that consisted of technicians. See, his family was travelling technicians, helping people with their electrical problems when needed and asking for practically nothing in return. His family was just the three of them; himself, his father and his mother. They were the travelling technician family, the ones that almost everyone knew about.

However, due to the travelling and never being in one place for so long, Zeus never really got to have a real education. His parents couldn't afford to just sit around in one town while their son grew up and went through schooling. They needed to move. That's what they always were like. So his parents decided to do the next best thing for him: They decided to homeschool him. They taught him things that they thought he needed to know in life and, of course, the way of being a technician.

Zeus was taught more or less of the things that his parents figured he needed to know in life over the silly things that school taught children.

When Zeus was six, he got his very first pokemon. A Mareep, if you would. It was small just like him and from the moment that Zeus laid eyes on him, he knew that he'd do everything in his power to want to make sure that the little Mareep, that he quickly named Static, would be happy in life. And for many years, it was very uncommon to see Zeus alone; for Static was always following him around, right by his side. It was like how a brand new trainer was with their pokemon! Zeus's parents were thrilled that their son and the Mareep had made a quick connection.

The years flew by for Zeus, growing up himself and his Mareep quickly evolving into a Flaaffy. He helped right alongside his parents at what they did for a living. But... as those years continued to fly, there was just something in Zeus that made him not want to follow in their footsteps. That he needed to find his own path in life.

Despite how he knew it was going to hurt his parents, Zeus decided to tell them that he wanted to travel, find somewhere to go in life. They were sad, of course, but they let him. And when Zeus was sixteen, he left his parents with only a backpack and his companion, Static, right alongside him. He would find somewhere to go, somewhere that needed him. He would... find a real purpose in life.

For the next two years, Zeus traveled around, doing odd jobs here and there to make a little bit of a living. But it was in his time of travels that he found Skyenhavn. It was a place that he had heard of once before, but never cared so much to visit the place. But two years of travelling and not coming close to anywhere that he wanted to settle down? Well... when he took the first few steps in Skyenhavn, he told himself he'd only stay for like a year. That was all. He got a lame job and a place to stay.

Fast forward to... five years later and Zeus is still in Skyenhavn with that same old job he got when he was eighteen.

He keeps saying he'll leave soon, but in all actuality, he knows he won't. He has... too much in Skyenhavn already and it'd kill him if he decided to leave.
