Gransys
-This is the easternmost hold in Whitestone, home to the largest port in the country. It is a great hub for trade by sea and also the greatest provider of ships to the Zanthian army. It sits ready for siege in every direction and controls a good hundred miles of shore and waters. It harbors work for anyone willing to take up a tool or work the land.
Engstelige
-Sitting deep in the mountains, this strong hold is one of Whitestone's most valuable strategic positions. Capable of housing stockpiles to last for two winters, it is resistant to sieges and attacks from the only direction available. It is often where Skjall chooses to hold his meeting with allied powers or where he simply wishes to reside after spending too much time in the hot climate zone of the south. Also, a large training ground for the elite of Whitestone and home to the Hall of Heroes where many revere their fallen brethren and party.
Hall of Heroes
-A sacred place of festivity and reverance located in Engstelige. Once every year, a large celebration is held here to honor the fallen of Whitestone and to cast aside differences for a night of mead, dance and merriment. Also used for large feasts and events, it is usually well stocked with mead and wine from SKjall's favorite crafters and his hand picked musicians play there every night for any soul who wishes to spend their time, and money, there. Their fire pits and pastries leave everyone satisfied no matter where they might hail from.
Njolstaf
-Njolstaf is the capital of Whitestone and most populous city, beating out Gransys by a mere five hundred people. Nick named, "Stone City" with it's back against the range, it sits strategically sound. The plains stretch out at it's front, making any incoming forces no surprise. It's corps of archer's are trained and tried at it's walls and never have the walls been breached in all of it's history. It is where the south meets the north and sits well near the center of Whitestone territory. Here, is where the court of the Jarl resides and all of his advisors. Self reliant and sufficient, the farming class works hand in hand with the merchant class in trading their produce and distributing it all over the state. It is here also where the final Skyforge resides and all of the mined resources come to be refined and smithed into everything under the sun.
