The mystical and magical land known as the Reika has always been the source to Japanese folklore. Tales of gods and ghosts, stories of love and redemption; Fantastical and infinite in its power of imagination, it is a nebula of dreams swirling in an endless space, ready to form and construct itself at a moment’s notice. In our most peaceful of nights, in our deepest slumber, our imagination is reality.

However, what happens when our imagination truly does become reality? When dreaming is no longer necessary.

On rare occurrences, the human world blurs the lines of space and time to meld with the spirit world and the beings of the imaginative realm meet with humans of our world. These occurrences only occur when changes in the Reika are utmost.

And so this is where our story takes place. In the vast infinite space of the Reika, in a small portion of its endlessness, a powerful being had finally accomplished the conquest of their speck of the spirit realm. Their power solidified, they control their little piece of land as they please; but on the eve of Fall, four young humans have made their way into this amazing world; their misadventure within the Reika may very well show them the true meaning of dreams.
Or perhaps, just as they once dreamed in the human world, the reality that once was there’s, is all they may dream about now, for once in the Reika, there is no getting out…

♦First and foremost, I would ask if you do not intend to stay in this roleplay long; as in you are incredibly busy with many different responsibilities in your personal life,are looking for a lazy roleplay to join then forget, and or you know that you will have a hard time keeping up with posts, I ask kindly you reconsider joining this roleplay. You must be capable of taking on multiple responsibilities and still capable of contributing to this story; this is the most important rule, and if I find anyone inactive for little less than a week, I will have to let you go; communicate with me about when you need time to focus on more important matters, and no issues of being removed will be had.

♦Second, keep your posts lengthy, contribute to dialogue, don’t ignore your fellow roleplayers characters, etc. If you can read, write, and coherently make interesting posts, then don’t worry about word counts, your level of writing; people communicating can make a masterpiece of any post.

♦Finally, have respect to your fellow roleplayers, my story, their characters, and try not to cause drama and trouble. I don’t tolerate bullies, I don’t tolerate whiners. This is a product of fun and merriment. With that said, have fun, and enjoy yourselves.

Surrounded by expansive snowy mountain ranges, and a grandeur lake, Castle Yume sits at the base of the smallest mountain ranges of the Evernight Grove, named for its extremely long nights; a large and luminescent view of the moon shines brightly, replacing the sun of the human world. The sky remains a constant purple and blue, yet it never goes completely dark.

The outskirts of most of the grove is vast wilderness, plentiful with a large river and multiple streams that empty into the endless lake. A maze of bamboo and ever changing maple trees with many different walking trails fill the grove.

A paved cobble stone road marks the path to a clear view of the spacious image of Castle Yume’s walled villa, brighten in lights and sound. Within the villa lives a multitude of grand spirits and creatures, here they work, struggle, live and die; just as the humans do in their world.

The biggest building within Castle Yume, is the actual castle itself, which serves as both the home of the Okami (Madam) and as a grand exclusive resort for her subjects to spend their money on multiple luxuries and various forms of entertainment.

Three expansive floors the size of a large mall in terms of size and a grand tower make up Castle Yume. Each floor consists of drinking and restaurant halls, game and gambling tables, followed by multiple shops. Along with these other attractions include the hot springs, spa, a VIP hotel, and a theater.

Many of the villa’s residence use the money they earn in their trade to spend a night at Castle Yume, the Madam’s influence is strengthen in that Castle Yume controls much of the attraction to outsiders and tourists of the Evernight Grove. Our story takes place primarily in Castle Yume and will only go beyond its doors occasionally.

♦Deтαιlѕ oғ Cαѕтle Yυмe:

The Castle is built as a traditional Japanese castle of the 16th century, modified in terms of length and size to accommodate many guests.The Reika is blurred between the modern and the old. Electricity, running water, plumbing, radios and classic telephones are common place, however, things such as computers, smart phones, modern clothing, and such are completely foreign, but may not be unknown to certain more knowledgeable spirits and creatures.

Currencies are based on small domino shaped pieces of Copper, Silver, Gold. These currencies from lowest to highest are what are used for the day to day purchase at Castle Yume, however the most valuable currency are diamonds, the control of diamonds is strict at Castle Yume, no one is allowed to have diamonds without the Madam's say.

♦Tнe Floor Plαɴ oғ Cαѕтle Yυмe:

▬ Groυɴd Floor
Consists of the main foyer entrance, lavishly decorated with statues and massive urns. Expansive murals reach from the ceiling to the floor; The ground floor has the entrance to the Hot Springs, the Spa, and a multitude of shops such as bakeries, clothing, and souvenirs.

▬Secoɴd Floor
The Second Floor consists of the entrance into the hotel, the dining halls, the kitchens, and the Guards Barracks. There are open sections blocked by railings so individuals can get a view from above on the ground floor, three stair cases located in the center, center east, and center west side of the ground floor lead to the second floor, stairs to the third are located directly next to these stairs. The Guards barracks have access to side hallways unseen by the guests that allows them to pop up on any floor in case of an incident as to keep guests on each floor controlled while isolating incidents where they start.

▬ Tнιrd Floor
The third floor consists of the games and gambling rooms. From simple carnival style games, to serious betting on prize fights and on the tables, any and all kinds of entertainment can be had on the third floor, security is heaviest here, as an assortment of cheaters and reckless guests can cause a ruckus when it comes to money. VIP lounge areas are also located on the third floor, complimentary service and private games offered to them when asked.

▬ Tнe Oĸαмι'ѕ Tower
Located on each floor is an elevator, that for the tired or the lazy can take them to each floor they may want to be on, however, the fourth button on the elevator is unavailable to any without guard supervision and permission, for it leads up into the Okami's Tower, her/their private residence, where their office and private quarters are. Here the Okami sees important guests within her throne room, it is also where those of her harem and her highest ranking individuals stay in private rooms. If summoned here it is either for high praise, or the cruelest of punishments.

These roles are suggestions to those that would be of an importance to the story, What few I will post does not discourage you to make your own character roles, so long as they fit within the story and remain relevant.

**We would only require the Madam, and the four humans to begin the roleplay, in terms of importance to the major plot; however, that does not mean to discourage other roles as their importance in the plot is decided on you, choose their paths as you see fit.

Just as an additional note, this does take place in Japan, so names, themes, and lore would predominately be Japanese, or at least East Asian, I would strongly recommend that no foreign characters outside of East Asia, unless a specified argument convincing me why they should be submitted, thank you.

The Madam gained her position through conquest and brutality; the Reika as beautiful as it is, is no place of peace or for the faint of heart, powerful beings constantly thirst for control for their own place within the Reika. And the Madam has more than paid her/their dues.

As the wild things of the wilderness stalk the Villa, these individuals are all that keep the relatively peaceful settlement from being sacked, burned, and devoured.

Act 1: Crυѕнed Plυмѕ, Joв Opeɴιɴɢѕ, αɴd α нιɴт oғ Mαɢιc

It is mid September, and the fall winds are coming in. The air is getting cooler, and the trees are changing color. Across the islands of Japan, four individuals rest their heads to sleep, in their dreams they see a fascinating sight, of something that feels real, smells real, looks real. They reach out and touch the bark of trees, feel its rough skin, see the vibrant colors of red, orange, yellow and brown, all in the hue of a night sky, and under the aura of a luminescent moon.

What a strange dream, but as they reach out, a torrent of wind shoots up, leaves on the ground flurry in a tornado of colors, the wind picks up, they are blinded, the sound is to loud, and in an instance, it stops, the sound of plums smacking the ground, the leaves fluttering like rain, it is dead silent. Opening their eyes, they do not see themselves upright in bed, the familar sight of their room; they are now in the Reika, within an orchird of plum trees, and its bountiful ripening fruit, ruined, on the colorful floor. In the distance, are high walls, and further still a Castle, brighten up in lights.

What are they thinking? How did they get there? Is this still a dream? What do they do now?

They don't have much time to think; the sounds of armor, and heavy footsteps are near, what look to be samurai block any form of escape, yet they are not the ones that need to be feared, for like a door, they part, and in open view of the human outsiders stands the ruler of the realm, ready to dictate her will.
