WELL. I'M POSSIBLY A BIT JEALOUS. My boss and I love their website~ The actual store must be so neat. I live lot more inland in Cali. >.> The local art stores here are poo, buuut eh... not an art community, can't be helped.
It's like 20 min up Lincoln for me, I feel so blessed.
emo Small store, but everyone who works there is an artist, it seems! Art Supply Warehouse is amazing too but that's even farther away in OC, haha.
Do you know about BV000 (Iridescent Mauve)? It was recommended to me by a guy at the Blick store who works specifically in markers, I wasn't sure if I believed him but tried it anyway; it's such a light, insignificant color, but it makes such a surprising difference! ESPECIALLY with greys, fyi. It adds saturation without adding warmth.

Ahaa, I used to go to Art Supply Warehouse a few years ago when I lived in Laguna Hills! I always stayed for a really long time just looking at all the stuff.
I haven't tried BV000, but it sounds interesting! Gaia peeps ask for commissions and it's kinda common for many to give avvies with some sort of white/gray/black in it. It gets boring after a while so I'm always looking for new different ways to amp it up. My copic set isn't very expansive, but for grays every marker I have with "pale" in the color name has been great for adding that touch of interest. They're fairly subtle.. I wonder how they compare to Iridescent Mauve.
My current favorite is E70, Ash Rose. I used a ton of it on my entry in this thread (probably too much lmao I have no self control x.x), but in particular I love how it it amps up shadows.
